I have been thinking. In your professional opinion. Do you think hannibal lecter would view borrowers as hors d’oeuvres or would he respect them. Like it all comes down to whether he views borrowing as stealing or as an understandable necessity for them, right? Maybe it rather comes down to whether they abide by the rule of only taking what won’t be missed. Maybe he can even empathize with them for having to keep himself hidden, metaphorically or otherwise. Anyway, i’ve been thinking about how fucked up it would be to be a borrower in hannibal’s house. He’d probably notice, right.. what if you had to choose between borrowing human meat or starving. I think you’re definitely right, Hannibal would respect borrowers as long as they respect him. His whole thing is hating the rude, but it’s not rude to try to survive. As long as they only take whats needed, don’t make a mess, and don’t cause problems with the FBI, I feel like he wouldn’t mind one in his house. He’d probably even enjoy the tiny ‘audience’.
He might even use it to his advantage, imagine if like, Will caught a glimpse of the borrower. Hannibal would deffo use that as a way to gaslight Will further, tiny people don’t exist Will, you’re going insane! Maybe if Hannibal was even on good terms with the borrower, they could even have them actively talk to Will and make him feel insane - maybe the borrower either works with Hannibal bc that’s their food ticket, or they’re being manipulated too.
It’s also be awful to have to borrow human meat to survive, especially if the borrower had no clue it was human in the beginning. But I’m also thinking of like, what if the borrower was cool with it? They aren’t a human, is it actually cannibalism? No other borrower has likely ever eaten human meat before- how could one even kill a human much less butcher it? Isn’t there something a little tantalizing about getting to eat your biggest predator? I think it’d be so neat if the borrower was a little freak about all of this, just as much as Will and Hanni

sO I played this game when I was like 8-9-10 y/o. I met the saga through The Lost Frontier lmao but my English was very bad so I couldn't play much of the game and sent my dad to change it. iirc, the game he came back with was Jak X, if not then I got it another time I went to the store and said "surprise me".
since I had tried googling about TLF to help me pass the game, I got familiarized with the rest of the games as well. I had a (very) vague idea of the story through amvs and fanmade content. so then I got to play the game, the story was much shorter cuz it was only one game, and the playing mechanics were basically Mario kart (which I had played a lot previously) so I had a way easier time understanding things. I guess that made me closer to this game in particular. Also I asked the store for the main trilogy but they could never get them.
Plus I actually replayed it a dozen times cause of the fucking save file corruption bug, it was years of frustration cause I could never reach the end of the game without losing my progress. I eventually got a second memory card and tried again, this time with a strategy of cloning the save on each card. But by that time I had already watched the cutscenes on YouTube cause I genuinely thought I could never do it on my own. Still, getting to finish the game was like a life goal being achieved
Tldr years long frustration + learning to like bad guys lmao
NOW since I was a small kid I haTED Mizo's crew with a passion cause they were evil bad guys and that was all I could see. I had a special hate spot for Razer and UR-86. And the fact that I couldn't beat the game felt like they were winning against me and I was failing to save Jak's team from the poison. But then puberty hit and I admitted to myself that I had a crush on Razer LMAO and I became Mizo's crew #1 fanboy. Before I realized I was thinking of backstories, headcanons, ships, self inserting myself on the team or as their rival who ends up warming up to them
I got to play the other games when I was 15 (it was around this time that I got to beat Jak x too) and that made me appreciate X even more because they really didn't need to go THAT HARD yet they did!!! and I'm so glad!!!! It gave us more time with Jak + a different side to him, a lot of depth in world building, character development for Keira (I had very protective parents so I feel her) AND THEY FINALLY KISSED OMG TOOK YOU BOTH DUMMIES LONG ENOUGH + that plot wist with GT and then the Rayn one at the very end holy shit
IT'S JUST SUCH A MASTERPIECE SORRY THIS IS SO LONG
now a lil on my love for the baddies: we get literally zero stuff from them except for Mizo's daddy issues and Razer's sassyness so this part is mostly me going full delulu. Most of my attention at first was on Razer obviously and I always love/hated him, I feel like I wouldn't stand him but God he's so cool. Then one day I randomly started adoring Shiv?? I just thought he'd be such a chill guy and started picturing us as besties??? Edge I feel would be Shiv's kinda close friend, we see them together most of the time they have in X after all. And then Cutter's the most reserved one, I picture him being actually really sweet but you Have To Get There.
Now I need to draw my self insert so bad omgggg
Also I can recite the Spanish version of the opening scene by heart

Class 1A vs Deku arc literally undermined Deku's valid and noble reasons for leaving UA. Deku had trauma due to the war and had regrets about not being able to stop an incomplete Shigaraki. His fear of putting the people and his loved ones in danger after remembering what happened to Shoto, Bakutrash, Aizawa, GT, Nejire, Ryukyuu during the war was all the reasons he left UA. He already has lack of self worth due to being told worthless and useless and abused for 11yrs and when he became desperate to find Shigaraki it started to become worse with him not taking any breaks and all of this was before the encounter with Nagant . Watching Nagant explode and AFO's declaration only reinforced his fear and trauma and it's why he left all might. His state of mind became worse and he stopped caring about himself anymore.
However when class A arc started, all of his trauma, fear were thrown away. The arc painted Bakugou as innocent and an angel while blaming all might for Deku's lack of self worth when the person to really be blamed was Bakugou due to years of bullying, calling Deku useless and worthless, telling him to kill himself. The whole arc was a disgusting with Ochako and Iida agreeing with the trash when he mocked Deku. He also had the audacity to project himself on to Deku. Even Bakugou's apology was trash and Class A were just watching again. The most saddest part is that none of class A knows exactly what Bakugou did to Deku. They don't know that Deku's lack of not taking himself into account, his lack of self worth was a result of Bakugou's bullying, calling him useless and worthless. In the end the arc Undermined Deku's reason, his trauma and glorified his chief abuser.
The worst of it for me is what happened after Bakugou's apology which was narrative having Deku putting himself down and saying Class A were way ahead of him as Hero when they didn't do shit compared what Deku has done since the start. Then Deku Apologizes which was not necessary considering Deku was right to say they can't keep up. So what is Hori saying now? that Uraraka due her speech is a way better Hero than Deku? Bakugou is a better Hero than Deku ? Iida is a better Hero than Deku? Does Deku have to now learn on how to be a hero from class A when said class A didn't do anything compared what Deku has done?
Sorry for venting it's just i had High Hopes for the solo arc but am utterly disappointed with the story now. I understand Deku needs to share his burden with his friends but it should have been organic by making him realise that he Izuku (not Deku) matters and how much he means to them and that he can rely on them. Not by undermining his choices and reasons and especially not by putting him down.
Yeah the izuku solo/vigilantes arc had so much potential and hori did throw it out of the window! But honestly I think that was mostly his ex editors fault! Thanks god, that guy got replaced!
I agree with you and I understand why you feel so dissapointed and angry! I get why class a did what they did. They love izuku and wanted him back, but in my honest opinion they used - at least at first - the wrong methods. The 2 things that pissed me off the most, were first iida and ochako being SO FUCKING COLD to izuku at first and siding with bakugou, whos first action was to mock izuku again, when it was absolutely clear he wasnt in the right state and second, momo creating a fucking "asylum chair" they wanted to use to drug izuku and drag him back to ua against his will - she lost A LOT of my respect for her in that moment and I dont think she will ever win it back! I will not go into detail again, about everything wrong with bakugous apology! That whole abnormination of an apology was nothing more then the biggest insult to human intelligence and 95% of the fandom did eat that shit up!

im so honored you liked my goten and xv2 trunks gt trunks malding comic. i just want to let you know i enjoy your posts a lot i think about a select few of them a lot (examples: what do you think they're talking about, goten's un-circumcision wish, gohan asks goten if chiccolo is real and dies). i didnt actually know xenoverse comics existed my friends and i just played xv2 a bit so reading it will give good crumbs to feed me.
im thinking of making a sequel to my comic but im also wondering would it be better if gt trunks gets together with anyone (time patrol goten? an oc?) or is he doomed to a life alone. at first it was funny to see him be alone but now it's a bit sad. just a thought to add onto a simple thanks.

I feel like F Trunks hasnt had many opportunities to Be Himself or Chill Out and shit like that. He was always doing what he could to meet certain expectations of strength and character. He's lived a solid life but also he had never ever even came close to having the opportunity to rest his chin on the handle of his sword and say some bullshit bc his brain isnt working and then fall over bc his legs stopped working. Like I feel like he hinself cant even parse his body's motivations here. It's just responding this way. It just found something appealing in that Son Goten fellow. May have been Goten's enthusiasm with meeting him. May have been how he shows up already with so much love to give. May have been when they were peeing together and Goten had the audacity to look and look and lean over and LOOK and eventually say "So how is it that your circumcised?" and Future Trunks was so put off that he stopped peeing in response.
I mean GT Trunks can be forever alone it fits him fine. Seems thematically appropriate. Or yknow an oc is fine if that's what your heart desires ... or Palace.

Snow was my favorite character when I read Hunger Games. Do not yell, do not hurtle rocks of hate at me, I finally understand why. I’ve read Songbirds and Snakes and watched it.
Snow is posh and polished, he is a statue of respect and authority. That’s Jonah Magnus, that’s Gabriel(GO), that’s Stede(to a degree- Stede is not an ass), that’s Sherlock, that’s the Doctor. It’s a Poshness that only certain villains can accomplish, and most English characters are gifted with.
The backstory adds another level of respect and appreciation for Snow from me. I am not rich, and I am surrounded by rich people in the state I moved to from North Carolina(where I was raised). I went to a school where money was practically flung around, a donation to the school that wasn’t mandatory but very much suggested was almost 200 dollars. I understand Snow, not because I’m dirt poor and barely living off of my parents jobs, I understand being surrounded by people who can use money to get out of shit that deserve to face.
Snow and I also have a father that is extremely proud of his name, my father isn’t dead, neither is my mother but I understand wanting to live up to the expectations of your father. I have expectations also from my father just like snow who is expected to love up to his father’s name.
Snow doesn’t seem to quite understand to love correctly, just like me! He love bombs Lucy Gray(TO A DEGREE- SAVING SOMEONES LIFE BECAUSE YOU WANT TO IS HUMANE BUT ALSO ITS CORIOLANUS SNOW) and he is extremely possessive. Now I am not that extreme because I literally cannot find the way to love someone without completely throwing myself into Michael’s domain because I spiral(haha I’m funny).
Coriolanus is also the smartest person in his class and his makes sure that that is known, I am like that but not the smartest just pretty smart. He also helps his peers even if he despises them, and given I have Social Anxiety I am terrified to disappoint so I do that too.
Coriolanus also respects people on a level of perspective before becoming a peacemaker that’s commendable. Given the fact his father was killed and he had to SCAVENGE for food as a kid he is allowed some disrespect for the districts. He still respects them once they’re in the capital and he tries to get them an alright time, for his own sake but still.
That leads on to the fact that based on how he’s been treated for DECADES he wants to go as high as possible to help his family and to live up to his father’s name is understandable. I feel like that to a degree because I have constantly been put on high standards by my parents but also because I came from a poor town where GT was only for fourth and fifth graders and had no advanced classes and was IMMEDIATELY placed in an advanced class for math when I moved.
Anyways, all this to say, he has an inclination to make decisions for others on a whim that’ll it will help himself because he cares deeply for Tigress and his Grandma. Yknow who also acts on whims? Stede Bonnet. We love him- Ed teach, we love him too. Aziraphale??? Yes some of the fandom hate him, but I don’t. James and Sirius make A LOT of choices on whims at Hogwarts as the marauders- JONATHAN FUCKING SIMS MY GOD DONT GET ME STARTED- Trexel Geistman- woo-boy…

Hope Joe and Lethal have a match at DoN and end out this feud soon.

HANGMAN IS EQUALLY AS PRETTY AS HE IS ON TV WOOOOOW HIS GEAR IN PERSON IS GORGEOUS!!! Babes I wanted to throttle myself into the ring and eat the pin so neither technically lost 😭. Ok so Bryan's leg got stuck between the ramp and the ring during the brawl. Which TK needs to now abandon the whole ring and ramp connection cause they were trying to get him unstuck for like 10 minutes. Bryan looked like he was in a lot of pain and at first we thought it was part of the story, but Mox was pretty heated about it so... Once they finally got him unstuck, by pushing the ring away, Bryan got up and put his hands out to us to signal he was okay, which was relieving!!! He did limp away though and they continued the story as best as they could.... I don't know how much of this will be on tv since it was after the main event, so I wanted to fully recap it for y'all. oh god it is so difficult to say who are my top favorite Dragon Ball characters. like literally one of the things i think this series does best is have a lot of REALLY fun and interesting characters.... i will try but just know that this list fluctuates heavily based on who im thinking about at the exact present moment and if you asked me at a different time i would probably give you a nearly totally different list
5. Cell - hes simultaneously one of the funniest and one of the scariest DBZ villains. truly he can do it all. also whether i like it or not i get gender envy from his original fucked up bug form so he gets points for that
4. King Kai - hmmmmmmmmmm i am thinking about King Kai right now i want to put him on the list. i feel like he doesnt get put on many favorites list and that's making me sad. so right now he goes on the list
3. Supreme Kai of Time - ive rambled about my thoughts on her on here before. girlboss. i want her to be even more mentally ill. i dont know if shes Supposed to actually be as fucked up as i tend to read her as but she should be
2. Future Trunks - man what do i even say here its goddamn Future Trunks everybody loves him hes aewsome
Bardock - i am listening to Solid State Scouter right now which is definitely biasing me to put him at the top. im not sure i'd put him at the very top normally though, i have really complicated feelings on him though and like i think hes at his ultimate best in the Bardock: Father of Goku special and dont really vibe as much with anything making him more straightforwardly Cool And Heroic. i like him best when he's ultimately doomed
honorable mentions: Puar. hes very silly and i love him but i am very aware the version of him that exists in my head is Not how he is written in canon (...and in canon he has like, No personality)
Z Broly isnt even a Dragon Ball character to me anymore hes like some kind of creature. hes so fucking funny to me what the fuck happened for him to be written this way.

11. Have you seen any of the films? If so, which one is your favorite?
i have seen nearly all of the z and super films except for Super Hero so far + Dragonball Evolution (obviously) though i havent seen any of the Dragon Ball/GT films and i haven't watched any of the weird obscure stuff like the bootleg live action movie or The Real 4D just yet.
DBS Broly is definitely imo unironically like. The Best out of everything ive seen, like its just fucking Good and i have no complaints about it that aren't petty personal taste fare.
HOWEVER. "yeah dbs broly is good" is like the most obvious take in the world so i think it would be more interesting to talk about the stuff i'd rank just below it in terms of attachment (in no particular order)
firstly i dont care what anyone says, Wrath of the Dragon was fucking good. it didn't feel like a Dragon Ball Z movie and also Goku had literally no place being the character to get the final blow in on Hirudegarn, but if you meet it where it's at it's a genuinely very enjoyable and INTERESTING movie. Tapion is such a neat character and after most of the 90s Z movies just feeling like mindless boss battles it is SUCH a breath of fresh air to get something that feels more character-driven
counting the TV Specials as movies here, its not like controversial to call History of Trunks a favorite lmao, its just plain good. AS FOR THE OTHER Z TV SPECIAL. i am fucking mentally ill about Bardock: Father of Goku. i did not care about Bardock (or really Saiyans much in general?) until i saw him get karmically tormented by psychic visions and die a futile death against his own boss. now im obsessed <3
the og Z Broly movie was honestly one of the most enjoyable of the 90s Z movies and i understand why it got so popular. however at the same time my perception of Z Broly has been warped so badly that everything to do with him is hilarious to me. ive watched too many Broly MADs (BTW Z Paragus is probably my favorite movie antagonist tbh. while im glad Super Paragus is still a sack of shit im a little sad he didnt get to have as much of an outright villainous role in DBS Broly. at least what actually happened to him was funny)
im stanning Bio-Broly because no one else will. honestly it genuinely wasnt that bad, i found it fun and honestly melting the Broly clone so he immediately stops looking liek broly is HILARIOUS to me. part of me considering it a favorite is just out of spite for people calling it the "worst" Z movie when fucking BROLY SECOND COMING came right before it.
AND. LASTLY. OBLIGATORY DRAGON BALL EVOLUTION. ITS NOT GOOD BUT. BUT. if you cant tell by my fucking url ive become weirdly attached to it. every single detail of that movie and the stuff surrounding it is FASCINATING to me. its like reached a point where i get genuinely excited when i see it acknowledged somewhere in a way thats not just "ugh remember this? lol" some sick part of me has even started to enjoy Geeko as a character just for how cringefail he is. btw the PSP game is unironically fun (its running on the Shin Budokai engine so of course it is but still). someone buy me the scary uncanny Enterbay DBE statues please

Favorite Character - Hehehehehe oh boy I wonder who my favorite DB character is? :3c Real talk i love so many DB characters but HO boy do i L O V E Raditz. I could talk for hours about how much i love him don't get me started
Favorite Villain - Oooh that's a tough one. Love Piccolo Sr., Z Broly is amazing (if we only focus on the first movie.), Goku Black is literally the best part of the Super anime (Zamasu doesn't count i can't stand him).
Favorite Saga - Namek! Namek saga is my favorite part of Z.
Favorite Couple - Bruh GoChi hands down. I love them so much. When i was a kid and had the biggest crush on Goku (before Raditz showed up lol). I used to be sooo jealous of Chi Chi cause thought she was sooo cool and so pretty and she got to marry Goku like she's living the dream. I miss Chi Chi i wish Toriyama wasn't weird about women.
Least Favorite Character - Buu. Every form of him. Yes that includes Uub. Sorry. Also fucking Tao Pai Pai. I've always hated him. Zamasu is annoying as fuck but he's tolerable when he shuts the fuck up (Goku Black is great but he is on thin ice for being Zamasu).
Favorite episode - How do I pick ONE?? Like Yamcha's intro, literally any tournament episode from OGDB, Boss Rabbit omg, when King Piccolo got his shit wrecked, RADITZ'S intro, that episode where Gohan gets trapped underground with a robot, the G i n y u s, T R U N K ' S INTRO, THE FUCKING DRIVING EPISODE LIKE COME ON, those episodes that take place after Goku and Gohan come out of the HTC and spending time with family and friends before the Cell Games makes me WEEP, when they break the fucking Z-Sword, Princess Trunks, the first time Goku goes 4 LETS GOOO, probably anything with SSJ4 Gogeta I have so much fun when he's on screen, Vegito showing up during the Black arc!!!!

Listen. L i s t e n. I love him. He's great. If there's anything people will know me for it's for loving Raditz. I remember being six watching OGDB for the first time, having this growing crush on Goku having fun watching his adventures and wishing I could be one of the women in his life. Then he grows up, gets married to Chi Chi, and I remember thinking "Aww I'm so happy for him."
Then Z starts and opens with a beast of a man landing on Earth, wrecking shit, tanking hits, mopping the floor with what was supposed to be the strongest beings on the planet and laughs about it?? And THEN he drops the bombshell that he's Goku's BROTHER???
This guy became a FASCINATION for me. He hunts and eats an animal RAW. He flexes his power and strength literally every second cause he's hot shit and he knows he is. He's so fucking cool. He kidnaps his nephew and tells his brother to start committing genocide "or else". His whole shtick on screen is that he's this big bad mean and scary brutal warrior.
But then he does this thing. It's so quick, so easy to miss and ignore. His nephew is crying, wailing, losing his mind over everything. He's understandably scared. And yeah Raditz isn't gentle about the way he tells him to shut up. But he tells his nephew to "be brave".
That's when I was hooked. Why would such a "big mean and scary" guy tell his kidnapped victim to "be brave"? Maybe he's not such a bad guy after all? Is his "big scary guy" shtick an act? A farce? A mask to hide a softer side to him? I needed to know more I wanted to see what else this guy would do! And he's the brother of Goku! Goku manages to make friends with pretty much anyone! He'll wanna talk to the guy who is literally his big brother and the only blood family he has right?
AND THEN HE GETS FUCKING MURDERED AND WE NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN IN CANON EXCEPT FOR FLASHBACKS.
We were ROBBED I tell you.
I am SO THANKFUL that the games and supplementary stuff actually use him and look into his character, dive into the what-ifs and have FUN with him. I cling to any media with Raditz in it.

Best Vegeta moment - That fucking come from behind sneak attack he used on Cell to help Gohan finish him off will forever be the COOLEST fucking thing Veggie's ever done in the anime.

Favorite "owned" moment - Does Oolong stealing the wish in OGDB for panties count. Cause not gonna lie that shit is kinda funny.
Most gruesome death - Z Broly fucking exploded that's pretty damn gruesome. So did Krillin so him too.
Funniest moment/episode - Look it's not even that funny but fucking 4Goge taunting Omega Shenron and pulling bluff kamehameha on him makes me giggle i love 4Goge so much. Also that time Krillin full strength chucked a rock at Goku's head cause he thought Goku would just instinctively catch it. Shit has me wheezing. Ooh! And the time Goku return-to-sendered Tao's grenade has me rolling every time fuck Tao lmao get fuckin rekt.
Best Goku moment - so many i love him. If i really have to pick i'm stuck again in that moment just before the Cell games where he just spends time with his loved ones. Those are literally the sweetest Goku moments and i get weepy thinking about them.
Coolest invention - Ok the smart answer here would be to say Capsule houses because i'd love to just drop a house where ever i felt like living. But the answer my heart wants to give is the Micro band.
Favorite form of Cell - Lil grubby larvae form Cell is adorbs. Imperfect is literally the coolest fucking design. I love Semi-perfect in an ugly way. Perfect is chef's kiss. I love Cell.
Favorite form of Buu - The one where he doesn't exist. Fuck Buu.
Why do you love Dragonball? - Oh god where do I begin? As a kid growing up mostly alone with a basic cable tv Dragonball was HUGE for me. This was my escape, to feel like I could go somewhere different, see incredible things, maybe even be someone else if I really wanted to. This was the thing I looked forward to every week. These adventures were inspirational, empowering. I felt like I was there, on the sidelines, in the background, cheering on my heroes as they triumphed. At the time I was the one lil black girl in a majorly white area. Goku was the weird kid with a tail. I felt like we could get along, pulled together by that universal "we're the odd ones out" feeling and be friends. When I saw Goku get more and more friends, it felt like they all became my friends too. These were my friends. It felt like I grew as they grew. I laughed when they laughed I cried when they cried. I feel like Dragonball might have shaped me as a person if I'm honest. Not fully sure how, but I couldn't imagine my life without it. Over 20 years later I'm still here. It's never left me and I know I'll never leave it. Even when it does dumbass shit that makes no sense (Future Trunks and Future Mai i am so sorry y'all fucking deserved so much better oh my lord).

Android 18
[I have...mixed feelings about 18 and what they do with her. I like her very "Whatever" attitude because it's fitting considering her backstory. While i hate how every woman in this series basically becomes "the housewife" type, I don't hate the idea of her getting married and having a family. I can definitely see her wanting a normal life after what Gero put her and 17 through, so I think that does potentially track for her. They at least let her keep fighting to some degree, and if I have anything good to say about Super it's thank god they put her in the ToP to make up for not having her help the Z fighters with Buu. Like...I get she has a kid and wanted to win that money but like...it's super short sighted and doesn't make sense when Marron is her world. The entire planet is in danger but you, one of the planet's strongest fighters, stay behind to win some money that won't matter if they lose anyway??? Like no offense to Krillin but he should have been the one to stay behind and try to win the money it was THAT important. It has the same flavor as Vegeta refusing to fight in that expo match with uuuuh...U9? The furry universe with the doggos? You get it. Like it made no sense for him, the literal second strongest fighter they have at the time, to refuse to fight because Bulma was about to pop and he wanted to be there for her (or even if it was actually the fact that he didn't want to piss Bulma off which is worse and not a good look for their relationship but another convo). If Goku and co LOST, the universe would literally be erased anyway, so him being there wouldn't have mattered anyway. So same vibe, same complaint. 18 only gets a SLIGHT pass because we really don't know how strong she is compared to the others by that point, but I imagine she's still formidable enough and stronger than Krillin at least.
I think my main goals with writing 18 would absolutely be to flesh her out more, to explore her past and how that affects her character and just...generally making her more interesting. Tbh, as she stands, she's...pretty boring. She gets some good moments in the ToP and in GT, but otherwise, she's pretty flat. It would be more a game of what more can I do with you versus actually running damage control as it was with Bulma.
And this is probably an unpopular opinion ish, but I'm really on the fence with her and Krillin being a pair. Like I can't say I HATE it but hm. I just think back to how she's like "oh you think saving me will have me falling all over you? Fat chance" before leaving the lookout. Which okay. Heated words maybe and she absolutely has a right to be pissed because we know that's kind of likely on the back of Krillin's mind. I'm not saying it's his full motivation but you know. We can at least assume they didn't get together IMMEDIATELY considering Marron is only...what 3 in the Buu saga? So maybe they did at least date for a while and get to really know each other before marrying but oof. Krillin falling in love with her at first sight after she just beat the snot out of his friends? HM. Anyway, if I didn't keep her single for the sake of just being able to explore other ships for her, I would absolutely want to flesh out her relationship with Krillin, too. Because it actually looks alright after the fact but...how did we get there? What was life like for her once Cell was defeated? How did that effect her desire for a relationship in the first place?]
Chi Chi
[Ah the female character every fuck boy loves to hate. I'll start off by saying I actually like Chi Chi. I think her overall characterization suits her, even the housewife part, because I feel that's literally the life she wanted. She wanted to get married and have kids and take care of them and her family and that's great for her. And she's a great mom and puts up with A LOT of shit that's out of her (or anyone's) control with world-ending crises and her husband or son being the one that has to usually has to deal with them. That takes a special kind of woman and I think it's overlooked. She gets way too much shit for being overbearing and naggy, and it's frankly unfair a lot of the time considering what she's been through and that she just wants to enjoy life with her family.
That said, she's still not written that well. The writers definitely go WAY too fair with making her the screaming, naggy wife and it ends up coming off very negatively no matter how justified she is. I think a lot of the work with writing Chi Chi would be in balancing that out and showing her having more understanding moments (see when she allowed Gohan to train with Goku in the HTC; it showed that she DID understand the gravity of the situation and, even though she definitely didn't want to, let alone let him FIGHT). She at least gets more of a pass than Bulma with getting mad at him over wanting to train all the time and other Saiyan things he does; Chi Chi married him thinking he was a human. Not an alien with a lust for battle basically written in his DNA. All I would do with that is just not have her harp on it so much. By even the Buu saga but especially Super, Chi Chi and Bulma should be more than used to how their husbands operate, and it will never not annoy me how every time we have to hear one of them make some off hand comment about "all you do is train!!!!" or similar. Goku at least starts farming for them so it's really just beating a dead horse and shit writing to make Chi Chi look like the stereotypical nagging wife.
So with Chi Chi, I would actually keep a lot of who she is at the core, but balance it out better and maybe give her more to work with. Like GOD why couldn't she keep up with her OWN training to some degree? Like I LOVED that she was the one to train Goten to fight. It does so much for her character in not only bringing back the fact that she CAN but also in showing that she DOES ease up on the no fighting rule she had initially with Gohan because she realizes that's just not realistic for their family. I do hate how she reacts to SS for both Gohan and Goten, apparently going so far as calling Goten a monster which is big oof, so I'd fix that too. But man. We could have had an Izumi Curtis with Chi Chi (she's from Full Metal Alechmist and you should definitely look her up if you don't know who she is; I'm not kidding when I say this is the Chi Chi we could have gotten) and we get DENIED. And now she barely exists in canon. I know she gets to watch the U6 vs U7 tourney (don't get me started on a moment in that just UGH) but I think outside of a few small moments we don't even SEE her in Super. OH and I would definitely emphasize that her and Goku do have a good relationship, work together, and love each other.]
Videl
[I adore Videl and will never forgive Super for basically making her such a boring and uninteresting character. She went from a spunky young woman who didn't take shit from people but was still very likeable to....blah. Like I can't think of a moment where we see that side of her in Super. She literally just becomes a total angel sweetie pie and it's so LAME. Like of course she should mature (ahem unlike regressing that with a certain nearing at least 50 year old) but...why did she have to lose all the spice that made her interesting and fun. They make her soooooo flat and boring. I'm at least glad the new movie gave her a dojo where she teaches martial arts because I was LIVID that she was just another housewife when she shouldn't have been.
So on that point, I would just try to like...maintain her personality to some degree, even later in her life along. I would also definitely work out more backstory for her and play around with that. I also think I would slow down how her feelings develop for Gohan. I feel like we went from crush to being in love with him in a few days and it just doesn't fit her character for me. I liked how tsundere she was with him and trying to deny that she felt anything deep for him, and then we just snap to her being like "I can feel he's alive! I love him!" like the same day. And don't get me wrong: Hanvi is the only canon relationship I really LIKE. But i feel like they rush it a hell of a lot and would have liked to see them date longer, like officially start after the Buu stuff and go from there. I would also rather see them wait to get married until after Gohan goes to University and Videl gets on track with what she wants to do, whether that's the dojo they give her in the new movie or becoming a cop or something. Which fits her WAY more than Krillin but whatever. It would be fun if they worked together. But getting married and popping out a kid right after high school? Seems ooc for BOTH of them imo. ]

i cant decide anything.
im completely rekt.

had a decent chance with my crush-
i completely ruined that by trying too hard. I scared her off, AGAIN.
Why didnt i think this through? It makes complete sense why she was over it. I was over it too, it didnt work. I spent too much money, loved her too much. suffocated her and myself. Now it burst into flames and we dont talk at all.
had a chance to do GT-
backed out twice because of how expensive it is. missed out on being in korea. I could be in korea RIGHT NOW. didnt want to do the year in shanghai. didnt want to pay 15k a semester vs 5k a semester. couldnt take advatage of my tuition waiver.
tried to get a studio in town-
backed out and lost my deposit. was too scared to live in that area. too much in the middle of town. 1300 wasted...
had a chance to get a month to month studio-
wasnt good enough for me. too small. wouldve been the perfect temporary place but it wasnt up to my standards.
had a chance to go to a festival-
didnt want to spend 1700 dollars for a weekend. now im feeling FOMO
i have one more chance at a festival. Day.MVS looks like itll be a lot of fun. Total cost: 1,400. just send it please for the love of god. you can always make money back- once in a lifetime experiences are priceless.
i have one more chance to move
its a really nice place in manoa. its like my dream place. ive always wanted to live in manoa again. its perfect. owner out of state, its pretty much its own little unit. everything included in the 1350, except internet. its on a relatively quiet street in the back of manoa. Nice views. I can be as loud as i want. I can cook, I can do anything without having the anxiety of having to make conversation. or anything. Its such a cute little studio.
all i want is my own place where i can have girls over and not worry.
LOL its will getting my own pad motivate me to talk to girls again?
of course it will. its just what you need to get back on your feet again. you cant rely on your dad for the rest of your life. think about Zoe. she would want you to get the studio. think about your mom, she would say go for it. i would sacrifice and chance to intern out of state next year, but do i even really want to?
I just really want a spot to bring girls over.

i know im supposed to be living it up right now.

how can i do any of this when i feel chained to my existence? i feel weighed down by the thought of living with my parents. how am i supposed to invite girls over to my place? how am i supposed to do anything fun in life when i have to report everything to him like a fucken child? I couldve gone to the gorge but i told him about it and he thought it was a dumb idea. so i didnt do it.
