I am deeply amused at how many people are like OMG WHAT?! I mean. I did say all along that this was the Husbands Rescue Fic, and the tags "Secret Marriage" and "Murder Husbands" are right there, and yet. XD
Anyway, why would Dream admit his feelings and marry Hob like a normal person, for normal reasons, when he could exist 200% in denial and marry Hob Just To Protect Him, No Other Reason. I would like to point out that as of 1916, they have been married for almost thirty years and have had a lot of sex, and yet the idea of admitting that Dream has feelings? For his own husband?
