Been thinking about that cardigan *you know whoch one*. It's so soft and cuddly. So I guess that is the closest we get to the real Mick. Like w/o his demeanor or acting of a womanizer and arrogance behavior. Idk if that even makes sense. But yeah. I'm pretty sure that he would be even a little bit*a lot* insecure when he at some point falls in love. I'm seeing so much longing and big eyes a little bit sad a little bit hope and so much devotion. He would't openly approach them. He would think of some strategic and really comlicated even a long shot plan. Slightly manipulative. Unpopular opinion but I'm sure he is a romantic deep in heart and is kind of dreaming of that special someone who would give him peace.

Yeah I get I'm profiling a cardigan but I can't unsee it. And the way he is a little bit ashamed when he phones that girl and we found out he had something with her and everyone is like ofc he had BUT I'm sure he wants to be seen as more than just this by them. Bc he cares about them.

and yes, i know which cardigan you're talking about and yes, i agree with you. i loved seeing *that* side of him even if it was short. almost vulnerable, a not often seen side of the usual "mick rawson" persona he keeps up. I mean, they were called for a case in the middle of the night so of course he's gonna be too tired to care 😂 it was sooo soft and I wish we'd gotten more of that look. 🥺

and love the way you profiled the cardigan. you're %100 right about mick being a romantic deep down. like have you seen this man and how much he cares about the people around him, but doesn't openly admit it often? you can see it in the way he treats his teammates, the way he'd do anything for them but he doesn't directly make it obvious.

i feel like there's a little bit of fear in there too. you know the whole "snipers feel invulnerable. they choose to keep people at a safe emotional distance" thing. which is why i also agree with the part you mentioned about seeing so much longing, hope and devotion in his eyes. because yeah, this man would absolutely give it all for the person he loves.

i think that's part of why he keeps up the whole "serial dater" persona instead of settling down for someone or letting anyone get close to him. I feel like he's scared. That's what he's used to, what he taught himself so it's easier for him to.. play around. pick up women or men as he pleases and all that.

also love the part abt him making a long strategic plan if he was in love bc YES. absolutely. 😭 this man's a MESS hahsjdh

anyway, mick rawson is a lover no matter how much he tries to hide it. we know what u are mick. i love the family dynamic in the show but it's even more precious when you look at it separately, from Mick's perspective. Just how much he cares about them and how much they care back. I love them so much.

Hey :) q for season 4: why do you think Ricky seems unhappy about HSM4 but also auditions and stars as an extra?

i've had soooo many thoughts about this so thank you for giving me the space to blather on about this. ricky is in a fascinating place at the beginning of season 4. from the beginning of the show, he's established as someone who shies away from change. by the time season 4 rolls around, he's starting senior year! his final year of high school. i think he's generally struggling with this monumental change, especially given that in s2, it's revealed that, after taking a career aptitude test, he has no "profitable skills." he's also in a relationship with gina and that's new and exciting. tim's interviews highlight that the host of characters will be dealing with the fallout from the documentary release, which has definitely started to impact them already. adding the filming of a movie on top of that and being in the hsm3 musical definitely adds stress and severely limits the time he can spend with gina. i think that's exactly why he auditions. you can see in the widescreen version of the trailer that ricky is stumbling around during the dance part of auditions behind gina for the movie. paired with his lack of enthusiasm at the announcement, it's clear that this movie was not in his plans. however, he loves gina and I'm sure part of his motivation for auditioning comes with being with her. that gina appears to have a larger role in the movie than others will likely be some sort of conflict for the couple and I'm excited to see how they work through it!

HSMTMTS: Portwell | Gina Porter x EJ Caswell

Gina laughs from the moment she gets close enough to the table for EJ to hear her, and for her to see the food already plated up in front of him. She points at it with a grin and tilts her head at him.

"Risotto? Seriously?"

With a laugh of his own, EJ shrugs and slides out of his chair.

"What can I say? It's our thing now. I figured we had to finally try it at least once."

He moves behind her, to her confusion, only for her to realize what he's doing. He motions to the chair after he's pulled it out for her.

Gina stays frozen to the spot for a good few seconds, just blinking stupidly. Is he kidding? He doesn't seem to be, and it's not like it's a totally out of the ordinary thing for him to do, he's always doing sweet little things like that but she's still too stunned to actually accept it.

"What's wrong?" he asks with a note of concern, his smile wavering.

"No -- nothing!" she says breathlessly, and finally sits down. He even helps her push the chair in until she's comfortable, and only then does he move back to his own seat. "I'm just... not used to this kind of thing, you know? Dates. Chivalry, the whole gentleman thing."

EJ laughs as he adjusts his own seat across from her. "You think I'm used to it either?"

"No, but I mean... I'm not used to people being as nice as you are to me," she confesses. "I'm not good with people, as you know. Manners and... pulling out chairs for me, it's just something that I'm adjusting to."

God, why is she already going deep? The date has barely even started and she's already spilling her guts out to him. She's not supposed to be doing that, is she?

To her relief, though, EJ isn't running for the hills yet. He doesn't even look tempted. Though, he is a good actor.

He smiles at her, folding his arms on the table. "That's okay. We'll have plenty of opportunities to get used to the whole date thing."

Her eyebrows pitch up. EJ himself seems to realize what he just said as well as his eyes widen a touch. They both look at each other, waiting for the other to contradict.

Neither of them does.

"Yeah," Gina then says, her finger tapping on her thigh to the rhythm of her pounding heart. "We will."

EJ's shoulders sink from a released weight of anxiety. He motions to the risotto then points to the glass by her plate and asks, "Do you want a drink?"

i've been doing a phenomenal job of not liveblogging gaa today. that's good, i need to practice not liveblogging stuff so frequently.

but what i do have to say at this point in time since im taking a short break is kazuma what the hell ive already suffered enough heartbreak from sholmes why are you acting this way-

#also i took a screenshot of sholmes and van zeiks because seeing them standing next to each other #made me realize that 1) theyre both equally my favorites at this rate and 2) theyre the tallest men in the game.......#i got to see a picture of van zeiks when he was younger and. the man was *smiling*. he looked so proud and happy with himself #then that whole case happened and everything changed and now he's the unsmiling scarred Reaper with gaze of ice #i want Barok to smile again i really do...... he deserves it...#im very very close to the end of the game. second to last case and i hope it all wraps up in a happy ending #after all these characters are suffering they deserve a happy ending. they deserve the entire world in fact #*especially* van Zeiks and Kazuma. and also Gina she's been through too much as well #i feel so much love and care for these characters.....................#im just ranting

Thoughts on the Voice

I have never watched the US voice, I watched this season becos of Niall and I swear he did so good also the show was so entertaining? Definitely in Niall's wheelhouse of cheesy jokes, feel good artist supporting artist energy and such wholesome funny

I love how the Voice emphasizes the Voice duh and I think it feels so much more drama free than xfactor (granted I only watched one season and I do not have much experience with music talent shows)

But it's so wholesome it's not Abt the sob stories it's such a unique marketing tactic to use coaches who are already very established and great entertainers to sell the show and give it the fun and watchability

The skits are Soo cheesy but it's such good fun

Im so happy that u really didn't need much sob story or personal story at least in my opinion frm the clips it really emphasized the rehearsals and technical aspects of performance much more

Love Kelly Clarkson, Blake and Chance so much they are so funny and brilliant coaches. The banter between all four of them is top notch they are all so witty and personable

Gina my girl I'm so proud and definitely gonna watch out for ur music ur wicked game performance I have rewatched so so so many times. Pay attention to dynamics so that u can really highlight ur voice and range

I love Kala 💕 her voice is incredible and I love the duet Skinny Love with Gina and her blind performance both sides now so much I am definitely watching out for her in the future guys go sub to her YouTube channel.

Ryley Tate is so cutee and his voice is so unique and high u are a classic unique singer I believe u will go far I mean he have quite an intense fan base already. I love his cover of Billie Ellish I have also rewatched that so so many timess

Michael B was the dark horse but ur duet of heartbreak aniversary the runs were Soo goodd I love that duet. His voice is so theatrical and powerful. I loved seeing him prove to everyone his powerful voice also he reminds me of Evan Hansen and Harry Potter (lol in the Shawn Mendes cover)

Laura Littleton is so cute and energeticc in her blinds Sign of the Times and terrific song choice and making it ur own. I wish her Battles was more suited to her I can understand why she was assigned to the song and the battle but I wish she did more with it

Not to be all about Niall's contestants but tbh I only watched theirs but I saw Cait's performance of Whitney dude was so good and so powerful she really popped! Also the blinds for Holly Brand Im not a country person but dude that control was so impressive what a big voice. Also Mariah Kalia's blinds mad impressive tone and strong voice I respect ur decision to go with Chance girl for that hip hop stuff.

Banter wise so many iconic moments with Blake Kelly and Chance lol the I have glasses pitch and the chair turning and the dad-son dynamic and the duet with Kelly they look like they have so much fun on set such great coaches this season. Wish we could have gotten more of Blake Niall next season but let see how its gonna go

synopsis: The squad already knew that Raymond Holt is a man of few words, but who would have thought that he had a child?

Dear 99th Precint, I proudly inform you that today will be my child's first day of work as a rookie cop in our precinct. Don't embarrass me. Sincerely, Raymond Holt.

• No one had ever heard Raymond talking about having a child. They never saw a photo of them on his house. Kevin never mentioned something. Or have them? No. No, they didn't.

• Even Gina was surprised. She was mean about it, of course, but she didn't knew anything.

• When Holt arrived, everyone was waiting for him on his office. Peralta tried to play cool before asking, but soon Terry was screaming about how could he have a child and didn't say anything to them.

Haymond answered without blinking an eye: "Peralta would make it weird." Everyone understood. "Hey!" Everyone except Peralta. "But why you don't have pictures with them on your house?" Amy asked. "Are you implying I would forget my child's face, Santiago?" Holt was clearly offended.

• You arrived apologizing for being three minutes and seven seconds late. Rosa widened her eyes, muttering about you being his copy. Holt smiled at that comment.

• Jake tried to act like a cool big brother but as soon as you opened your mouth he was fangirling over you. You made a mental note about calling him "bro" if you ever needed something from him or wanted to make him happy. Every single little thing you did was a reason for him to smile widely.

• Terry offered to show you the place, and told you everyone's name. He was all sweet and polite, acting like the dad of the squad. Well, he was. Terry made questions about your training and abillities. He was trying to show off, and it was working.

• Amy was affraid of saying something wrong. Amy danced when you said your father talked about her, and immediately regreted that. All her atempts of acting cool were imterrupted by Gina's jokes. She almost cried when you refered to her as your father's apprentice.

• Hitchcock and Scully thought you were already working with them. They didn't get what was happening. Holt was so glad when they went to took a nap.

• You and Rosa sat down and spent thirty minutes in absolute silence. It was the best experience of your entire life.

• Gina was waiting for you in the hallway of the bathroom. She asked if you wanna form a alliance with her. You obviously said yes, despite not knowing what she really meant by that.

• You were surprised for not meeting Boyle. On your lunch break, you realized why: he had rushed to prepare a meal for the two of you. He and Terry got into a fight about food while you were eating. It was exactly like your father told you. It was perfect.

• You have a nice feeling about working there.

I really don't know why, but there's something so comforting to me with the way Gina holds Toby. Just looking at it usually makes me happy. I could literally sit and watch Toby's tail wag away for hours and I would be happy. It's just so cute. They both have silly little happy faces, and Toby's little tongue sticking out just makes it cuter. The way Gina has both her hands holding him up is just so cute. A hand for him to sit on, and another holding up his little legs. (Which are actually strangely long if you screenshot the part where he jumps at Ryunosuke. You know what I'm talking about.) It's kind of like a constant little hug. I'm saying little too much but I really don't know what else to use.

The sniffing mode hold is super cute too. She's literally holding him like a gun. His hind legs are standing on one of her hands, and her other hand is holding him up by the middle of his body, just behind his front legs, which are kind of pushing against her hand, like how cats will do when they're about to jump. (I guess "as dogs will do" is better wording, but I'm more familiar with cats and I don't think I've ever seen a dog begin a jump like that before, but I'm sure they probably do.) And of course, Toby's tail is still wagging super fast.

I seriously love them so much, they're so adorable for no reason. Toby is my second favorite video game dog. If Missile from Ghost Trick didn't exist, he'd be my #1. Chief Inspector Toby, I love you.

Even when Gina is mad, it doesn't stop her from holding Toby, just as a cute little puppy like him deserves.

TLDR; Gina and Toby are adorable and the best characters in TGAA and nothing will change my mind
