What if I told you that RoobrickMarine went and wrote an entire novella starring my 16th century dog couple? It's very canon-adjacent, well researched and thoughtfully put together, has inspired me a ton during these past months and it's now publicly available at AO3. I highly recommend it.

i dont think i ever made a public post about this, but i do have a list of creator resources for anyone interested! this list is ofc specific to objects and 4t2 conversions.
the list is continually updated, really whenever i come across something that has helped me in object creation/conversions. the latest addition being: texture mapping in lithunwrap. this came in super handy when remapping the pretzel display by pandorasims. :]

threw food out the window of a ship with Avicus and Mael as they laughed like frat boys on a booze cruise
upon discovering his mind powers, orchestrated a meetup in the backyard with Avicus and Mael so he could try setting multiple rats on fire and exploding them with his mind
had a meltdown because his art wasn’t good enough
had a meltdown because his art was too good
got so horny for Botticelli, a man he’d spoken to once at that point, that he dramatically roamed the streets of Florence in such agony over whether or not to turn him that two baby vampires came and found him and were like ‘dude what’s your deal leave him alone’
walked the streets of Venice searching people’s minds to see if they thought he was hot and then strutted around preening when they did
ordered every single item of clothing in his wardrobe in red (which was totally fucking weird for the 15th century) just because it was his favorite color and then proceeded to walk around like some renaissance version of Clifford the Big Red Dog
flew back and forth between Venice and Florence for days so he could perfect his fanart of Procession of the Magi
got so horny for Bianca he roamed the countryside whining and, I quote, “sometimes pounding my forehead with the heels of my palms”
slapped on as much foundation as a teenager in 2008 with a pot of Dream Matte Mousse and was positively tickled when it settled into his wrinkles
And then after all of this goes home to write in his journal like “dear diary, it’s me, Marius, reminding myself that though I might look hot, smell good, and dress like a cashmere velvet candy cane, I am evil and I should feel bad.”

Tbh anyone who’s surprised tumblr is rolling out a bad feature no one wants must be new here lmao. Just cause they hit on a few good ones in a row (blaze, crabs, checkmarks) doesn’t mean staff got any less incompetent than they always have been. Anyone remember the chat feature being rolled out as a weird virus? That replies were here, then removed for several years, then re-instated? Fan mail being accessible for a long time after technically being removed? Post+ still exists? This isn’t new. It’s been like this since 2013 and there may be new owners now, but that doesn’t mean staff has changed
Best thing you can do is ignore it, turn it off, and never ever use it to help them arrive at the decision that a resource-heavy feature no one uses isn’t worth keeping around sooner rather than later

Tbh I've been feeling pretty bad about my writing lately. (And also I haven't posted any cocofic in over a month. Which is currently hanging over me and wearing on my conscience.) But then again I've been feeling bad about many things lately, particularly in the evenings. Hopefully it's because of the meds, because that would mean that there's a simple solution to it...
