I can't stop thinking about dating Sekido. I have a hedcanon that he likes to admire lightning, thunder and, you know, any bad weather that is associated with the hot-tempered nature of our man. So, I was curious how such a date with Sekido would go, when a human reader leads him to look at a thunderstorm, but Sekido is Sekido, you know, an attitude like "what nonsense!" and "I'm sick of your romance." Our aggressive man deserves a good rest sometimes <3

Sekido doesn't like to separate from the other clones, mostly because he knows they will have something broken or ruined by the time he comes back. For some reason you were were insistent that you had to go out today, and yes to-DAY! It's day time and he is not hiding from the sun! Then again, the sky is very cloudy, he can easily walk around without being burned to death, but still. He is afraid, not that he will admit it, of the clounds moving, since is also very windy. He just knows a storm is coming.

"I said we should head back, you stupid fuck! We both could die today and you want to be outside right now?!" He screams as you keep pulling him into heights, but he is right, the same way the sun is a threat to him, the storm is a threat to you. But Sekido just lets you guide him, he is way stronger than you, and could easily get free and leave you. It's hard to say if he actually wants to be here or if he is just afraid you will die while he is gone. Once you arrive you have the view of the mount Fuji, some trees and some houses before you. "We are here."

He growls after you said it, the view is nice, but nothing worth risking both of your lives like this. "YOU FORCED ME ALL THE WAY TO HERE FOR THIS?!" And just after he finishes speaking there is an electric light going down from the sky just in the tree you, to less than a second passes before the thunder sound resonates. This is what ge meant, he won't die from a thunder striking him, but you will. Still he can only look at the burned outside-out and cut in a half tree, still in fire from the lightning.

You turn around, to be honest you got a bit dcared right there when you felt the heat in your back, but it took you a few breaths to calm down as Sekido walkes up to the tree. There is a blink of light in the sky the second he touches it, another striking sound less than seconds later. There is no rain, bur the air is humid, dense and heavy, so you can feel as if you were wet and dry at the same time, as if you were surrounded by steam from water.

"I heard there would be a thunderstorm here as the town bearby started to prepare for it. I wanted to spend it with you." You tell Sekido as he watches the view the heights give you again, heavier hair moving by the wind, again a flash of light, and a thunder less than seconds after. Sekido is above humans, he is the apex predator with his equals, other animals don't face better than humans an encounter with demons, except most demons are not into wasting time in a flesh that will not get them stronger and is not as tasty as the human one. It's not their prey.

Because of that is hard to forget how strong nature actually is, how destructive, how lethal. Besides the sun, nature can't kill a demon, Sekido is stronger than lightning in that sense, but he can help but... respect it? He doesn't think that is the word he is looking for, but is the closest he can find right now. There is something one just must admire from this forces that seem to exist only to create destruction, just like his race. It feels like... like a call. Another lightning appears at the distance amd he can hear the thunder as a roar of anger.

"I always feared thunder and lightning when I was a kid, you know. In any other situation I would have done like the people in town amd tried to hide." Sekido doesn't even look at you, lost in the storm as you grab his hand, in takes him a while to realize you did. He sqeezes it alightly as a reflex and turns his head to look at you when he does. "It reminds me of you."

He blushes as hard as he frowns at your words, pulling his hand back to himself before walking away from you. "Quit that sappy nonsense! If you wanted to die you could just have said so! I am going back home before it starts raining or worse, the suns come out!" Another thunder sounds, this one was louder.... "Sekido! Wait for me!"

As you both walk home you can see he is still gazing the sky, face relaxed as you don't talk. That is good enough, he likes this moment. But again, you could have been a bit smarter with the date settings. Keep that in mind for the next time. "Thank you for bringing me here." He murmurs, almost as if he was talking to himself, but you manage to hear it, making you smile. It was worth it. "You're welcome."

Another lightning crashes in the tree besides you.... yeah, you still have to be smarter when choosing your date setting. "... You are an idiot...."

Oh that was a HORRID fucking nightmare

It’s currently an hour before my alarm goes off and i just woke up from a dream where I was playing a horror game akin to something like slender where you find 3 items while avoiding a monster and id gone through a few levels of it but I’ve forgot what they were, the mechanics this last level monster was it was blind but it could hear and it was like a long gangly looking thing with claws and it was a pretty scary in my dream it was all white and it’s ribs were protruding and it had a black hole for a face where some teeth were jutting out and it was voice acted too so you could hear It at all times and I was in the longest hallway’d house ever there were closets and desks I could hide in it was like a house with the anatomy of a hotel my only light was a half dead flashlight and a flashbang from a previous level that triggered the monster to kill me instantly and the death animation was it fnaf 2 foxy jumping at me but it looked like something out of resident evil man it fuckin DCARED me and it always whispered something before the game over screen like “I’ll string you by your guts.” With a bone snapping SFX before I could hit restart

So the whole reason I was PLAYING the game to begin with was because there was a Wrathion statue giveaway and the items in the game you had to find. Were 3 Wrathion plushies. Very good bait dream, I took that shit like a worm on a hook you prick. Anyways my subconscious really latched into all my game development research bc the menu was surprisingly clear, it let me select all the previous monster and read about them and their mechanics but the new one had just vague brief descriptions like “If it hears you you’re dead. Hide when it draws near.” And it’s title was just YOURE FVCKED which is funny censoring honestly but there was also a clip of the jumpscare in that menu itself so fuck you again dream for your clever jumpscare tactic of getting me while I’m in the menu.

Anyways so since I could barley see with my shit flashlight and the monster was legitimately scaring the shit out of me and the Wrathion plushies made me realize I was asleep and I wasn’t getting that statue for real I started playing the game badly so I could wake myself up (because doing anything direct would’ve made my subconscious change the game to something I wasn’t familiar with) but turned OFF my flashlight so my mind wouldn’t show me that fucked up creature when I died but I could still hear it but thank god I couldn’t feel it killing me because it randomly generated different deaths that I couldn’t see thank god again and before I woke up I closed the game and my me camera pulled back to out of the game me and I was holding my dog grounding myself and also trying to wake up and the exit game animation thing was like “oh well you lost game character doesn’t get to save their kid” like lorebait was gonna get me back in there like I’m Matpat or some shit then the animation “cracked” my screen as one last scare and I woke up and decided to write this down bc I could make that game and then use the money to buy the statue so nightmares offer solutions sometimes I guess
