Calliope moved from London to New York when she was twenty years old chasing a career opportunity. She had dual citizenship, with family in both countries.

Callie first arrived in Forks a year ago and at the time it was a big deal. She was a bartender who was quick to make waves with local barflies, but was rather mysterious.

She came fleeing her abusive fiance, who she had been with for half a decade. He was close to beat her to death one night, and so she ran like hell.

After settling in Forks, she filed a restraining order against her ex and put down roots in Forks. She hasn’t heard back from him, thankfully.

Before her relationship with Gerard she had an exciting and fiery personality she was proud of, with a strong aesthetic of confidence. He chipped her down, but Forks has been a place to be reborn.

She doesn’t know anything about vampires or the supernatural world but she doesn’t mind the view. Pretty people are pretty people.

There isn’t too much secret depth to Callie. She enjoys socializing, she enjoys smiling, she enjoys making people happy. That’s all.

Well there is at least a secret; Gerard is in the freezer in the basement. One night, he came to her place. All her money had been poured into the bar, so she slept in the basement. She was forced to kill him. Now, he’s wrapped in trash bags and she has no idea what to do about it.

Hello

I decided to start a blog, so that anyone who is interested can stay up to date as to what is happening in my life, as well as perhaps finding other people who have similar interests.

Here are some facts about me:

I am 23 years old, I go by many names on the internet but you can call me "g"

Last year I graduated with a degree in computer science but I don't really like tech at all anymore

I currently work in computer security consulting but I kind of hate it and will probably quit soon

My favorite bands are My Chemical Romance and pre-hiatus Fall Out Boy. I also love Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, early The Used (the first two albums are my favorite), and the solo work of Frank Iero and Gerard Way.

I am learning guitar. After much effort, I somehow managed to procure a Epiphone Phantomatic (Frank Iero's signature model). I also own a Pete Wentz signature bass but right now I am focusing on guitar.

I live in Seattle, I have a room in an apartment there but I don't really like having a roommate that I do not know well so I crash at my family's house a lot.

I think this is going to be an interesting and eventful year. I am planning to attend the MCR reunion tour. I have a ticket for Riot Fest and also a pit ticket for Tacoma, WA which I probably paid too much for.

I also want to quit my job soon and find a place to live that I would feel more comfortable in. It would be nice to finally have my own car as well. I hope to improve at guitar and start or join a post hardcore or pop punk band that writes original songs. I think it would also be cool to learn how to do dirty (screaming) vocals. Realistically, I probably won't do most of those things but I suppose it is good to set goals.

I would be down to chat with other people who enjoy the same music and bands. Also, feel free to ask me anything.
