I had a thought and realized that the season 4 christmas episode would be 1,000,000% better if the entire episode was a oner. it actually might be one of my favorites if it was. like the first few minutes being ONE SHOT was the better part of the season, but then it switches and it feels like Season Four again. they could hide cuts in it too, just GOD it would be so cool. also Abed doesn't feel like Abed in that episode

idk if this is a hot take, but season 4 isn't that bad. it's not great and it doesn't have any episodes i really love, but I can sit through all of it

you can love a character & still admit when they’re wrong. I love Abed but can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) & can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he’s never done anything wrong in his life) & call him out for his actions (which are always correct)

remember when annie literally talked to annie!abed and came to the definite conclusion that she does not love jeff, never really has, and really only needed the feeling of being loved, creating the seeming end to a three-season arc, then immediately backtracked in the next season about fifteen episodes later by getting giddy like a child when a hotel thought she was jeff's wife.
