I guess it would make sense for that to be it but the idea of him just phasing into existence in some random ass orphanage works great too ABSDJFH don't think i've mentioned it before but he was adopted by Gerald when he was young!! Gerald essentially wanted a successor to continue his research after he retires/dies (whichever comes first) and since Maria is ill, he decided to adopt (plus Maria would constantly complain about being bored n having nobody to play with absjdf).

I haven't really thought too hard about any of their actual parents because it's something i'm not really too bothered about focusing on and either way their current (sort of) caretakers are all characters included in canon >:)) (minus Uncle Chuck!!!)

actually troy and britta's entire relationship arc is actually a comphet narrative: an attempt at a coherent analysis by me at 3am

there are VERY few episodes that actually focus on troy and britta's relationship, and out of those VIRTUALLY ALL of them are actually more focused on troy and abed's relationship. the episode where they begin setting up troy and britta as a couple is virtual systems analysis, which is actually focused on abed and annie, but throughout the episode troy is seemingly more focused on abed being ok rather than on britta, who he is on a date with. then, in history 101 when they're confirmed to be dating, their main arc in the episode is troy being frustrated by britta not already knowing his and abed's rules for their first day of school tradition to the point of them physically fighting in the fountain. after that we get passing mentions of them dating, but only very brief ones up until conventions of time and space, which is specifically about troy being jealous of abed and toby's relationship, to the point that britta constantly calls troy abed's girlfriend, and ends with troy leaving britta behind to go to abed. troy and britta are barely touched on again until their arc ends in basic human anatomy, where troy (acting as abed relaying troy's thoughts to jeff) says he doesn't understand why troy would want to be in a relationship, and abed breaks up with britta for troy because troy was too scared to do it on his own. and we basically never get a mention of them having dated again. tl;dr: they really tried to make troy seem straight but they only managed to make him seem like hes experiencing large amounts of Repression
