Fresh off the success of its second showcase, Arctic Audio Showcase will have another event at The Garage on Saturday, April 6. Featured artists include Torppsbridge, Eric Raven, Goonmetal, TwoFourteen, Lone Husky, and DUI. Doors will open at 5 pm, and tickets will be $12.

you know what i want? i see people talk every now and again about really niche bands who never really got big outside their area. maybe they recorded a little bit that sold locally, were microcelebrities for a time but never really “made it.”

i want to hear about more of those. bands where their only recordings are mostly on youtube with a couple hundred views. especially local punk, goth and metal bands. y’know, the 80s garage band who barely left the garage.

y’know what? i’ll start. GaGaalinG is a japanese rock band from the 2000s, that i found in high school, they’re only on youtube and itunes . Николай Никифоров is a pop artist from siberia that i found on radio garden a while back. he’s on most streaming platforms cause it’s pretty recent but with very few listeners. Men with Eyes is a 80s punk band i haven’t listened too yet but i learned about from a uquiz.

do any of these fit my description exactly? no. and that’s good.
