I forgot to take progress pictures again, buuut...
Proto tail 2 is underway!
I used full-thickness pieces of 2 inch foam this time, so already it looks much fuller.
The fishbone cut is a mite better this time, too. The wagging action looks a lot more dramatic.
And this time, instead of just having a single slit cut for my belt, I instead made this split, reinforced channel so I can secure it against my back around the backmost belt loop on my jeans.
It's far from perfect- the sliding adjuster on my belt tends to get caught as I try to pull it through. Next time, I think I'm gonna make the channel out of a stiff elastic so it has room to stretch, but is still sturdy.
I'm gonna go all the way to carving and furring this one. I won't use any of my white grizzly fur for this, because I want to wait to use that until I have a better iteration. I have some other cheap furs, so I'll use one of those and see how it turns out.

Anyway I'm not gonna touch that internalized lycanphobia with a ten foot pole. Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. Literally the only downside to transforming once a month is the pain, but midol works just fine. No one with these "lycanthropy bad" takes ever wants to discuss the legitimate positives that come with this "curse" lmao.

I've been meaning to make a tag guide for this blog for a while now! I made one for my horror blog when I made it, so I feel one is overdue here. Under the cut.

thoughts (if any) on plushification? underrated tf imo
Tbh I've not really heard of it/seen it much as opposed to dollification which I've seen a bit more of, but I can definitely understand the appeal!
I did see some art recently that was along the lines of "I want a sentient fursuit to make me wear it and then I come out as their clone" and that kind of tickled my brain? I do really love body tf stuff and especially the kind that changes your personality to match your new form, plushification also feels like it could go well with feedism in the sense that you could definitely add some more stuffing to someone 👀
I could go from a big scary dog to a soft plush toy stuffed up with a round belly to make me all docile and lazy 🐺
