I have found myself increasingly frustrated that so many tattooists show their designs on the same female body type, over and over again. The media definition of beauty. It has become more obvious since lockdown as more drawings/ideas are being shown. I want to show a diversity. Male,female, non binary, tall, short, thin, curvy, black, white and everything in between.

I was absolutely flabbergasted at the amount of messages I received after posting my story this morning. So many people don’t see themselves represented in peoples work and say it’s off putting just seeing the same body over and over.

The best place is vendor sales at metal and punk shows, they're rare but have the best custom gear around, usually from independent crafters. Goth is a lot more diy than people think!
