I am genuinely upset about Andi! WTF is FSG doing? She's one of the best in the entire league! The pens online presense was top tier but with ITR gone last year, and now Andi, I don't have any idea what their plans are. Please let Jen be safe! I'm sure Andi will find a place. I'm not too worried for her. The Pens media department tho
I really wish her the best in whatever she does next. She was at the helm at the peak of the Pens' social media engagement and prominence, and while that fell off as she ascended the ladder and became a VP/further removed from the day-to-day posting, I think she did a ton of good work here.
I'll be very interested in how the department reconfigures in her absence. There seem to be a lot of power vacuums right now, with lots of people with long tenures at the Pens departing. Part of me hopes there's a chance for young blood; other teams have been doing more innovative, more curious, and more creative stuff in terms of their media. While losing legacy employees is a loss, I can only hope that there's an infusion of youthful, out-of-the-box thinking coming our team's way. It's the best we can hope for.
#I'd be galled if jen were let go frankly. like sure no one is too high up to be safe w/e but she is HIGH UP#and she's very ingratiated w/ the players (think about geno's “I want to go home jen” lol)#while I don't doubt andi was a familiar face to them I think they rely on jen a *lot*.#I think about her interview she did where she said she thought of some of them (kris/sid/g) as her kids lol#but also I thought andi was safe when I read the announcement today so clearly this is all conjecture and I don't claim to KNOW anything#I think our media has been falling behind in the past several years admittedly.#it's hard because I *did* join the fandom when the team was at its peak and I think that makes media/fan engagement easier. you're a winner#but I think it's just a matter of fact that we are not as cutting edge as we once were on our socials#the loss of ITR blows and I'm still mad at FSG for that#but I think they have a chance now to prove they care about getting back to innovation. I don't know that I trust them to execute it though#also I don't want this to be a critique of andi. especially when she's freshly off of losing her role.#this is more about the org itself needing to refocus on being innovative.#they've been a bit too comfortable in a lot of aspects in the past few years. having been to more arenas now and seeing more teams do thing#I have found it easy to say it feels like other teams/orgs are TRYING harder.#seattle puts on a show every game. their in-arena partners are cool. they have live music before every game. they have a freakin' drum line#y'know? pittsburgh had.... a really annoying train airhorn this season that they abandoned halfway through lol#the spirit of innovation has been gone for a few years now. if this gets it back... well we'll all be lucky IF that happens.

Capricious Skeletons Dynamics: Rus (pt 1)
Rus & Sans - brothers! Friends, know each other well despite the weird distance that's...also there, but eh, you'll have that.
Rus cares a lot about his incredibly annoying and lazy brother. He’s well aware Sans isn't that lazy, that's just part of their bit, besides, he really doesn't actually mind looking out for him. It's the least he could do after Sans practically raised him after all.
Sans cares a lot about his overbearing, goofyass brother. Kind of annoys him when people take him more seriously than Rus, hey, c'mon, he’s supposed to be the clown around here, but he does his best to show his support for his brother in every annoying (and sincere) way he knows how.

Rus & Stretch - friends, definitely, though sometimes Stretch purposefully antagonizes Rus. They enjoy talking about comics and cars together, and I’d imagine they’d both share a love of playing DnD.
Rus feels like he doesn't wholly understand Stretch, or rather, like Stretch won't let him, and it reminds him of his own brother and Undyne, which makes him feel disappointed. But! That doesn't stop him from trying to get to know him better all the same.
Stretch is jealous of Rus and it makes him feel...bad. He doesn't want Rus to think it's anything he’s done wrong so he puts distance between them because he can't really explain he feels like just an overall worse version of him, can he? Really admires him too, though.

Rus & Blue - friends with a slight weirdness between them. They work together very well, and enjoy planning parties and events together.
Rus just can't shake the feeling Blue underestimates him, despite him only ever really being encouraging. It also feels weird to be friends with a Sans who's so...motivated. Yet he generally has an easier time talking to him than his own brother, so at least there's that!
Blue has to constantly self check he isn't acting like Rus' older brother. He doesn't need the kind of support Stretch does, and he knows it makes Rus feel condescended to. Really enjoys spending time with him, even if some of Rus' more over the top ideas stress him out.
UF, SFM, FSG, VF below the cut

Rus & Edge - best friends, either completely in sync or polar opposites with little room in between. They share a love of engineering and creation, but approach those interests from completely different angles. They enjoy sparring, messing with each other, and working together often, and they understand each other in an unspoken way.
Rus admires Edge greatly and views him as super cool. Has a lot of respect for how hard he works, but wishes he’d find a better work-life balance (tries to help with this!). It antagonizes him when people "worry" about their friendship under the impression Edge is a bad influence because it's infantilizing of him and judgmental of Edge.
Edge admires Rus possibly more than Rus admires him. Rus is one of the few people that can actually get him to laugh, and while he was intimidated of him at first, has grown to feel Rus is one of the few people he can genuinely relax around. Bothers him deeply when people write Rus off as stupid or naive or to be taken less seriously than him.

Rus & Red - sort of weird, semi avoidant familial acquaintances. Like brothers who grew up in separate homes and didn't remeet until much later in life.
Rus is honestly more comfortable around Red than Blue since he’s so much like his own brother, but is relentlessly antagonized by Red's even worse apathy and jokes. He knows how guilty Red feels for how bad his relationship with Edge is, and that it's why Red is so weird around him, but he really wishes Red would come to see them as different enough he'd stop avoiding him.
Red is, as aforementioned, uncomfortable around Rus since it's difficult to separate him and his own brother in his head. Rus is Edge if their lives hadn't been horrible, he’s so much happier and...peppier. And guilt aside, he can't shake how weird it feels to be around a version of his brother who's like that. Or really anyone who's like that. Upbeat people stress him out. But he cares for Rus all the same.

Rus & Copper - sort of friends? Friends by default, on account of both being Papyruses. They don't spend a great deal of time together usually.
Rus finds Copper somewhat annoying. He’s sort of like if you removed all of Stretch's good qualities, with his bad jokes and penchant for mean spirited pranks. He doesn't go out of his way to hurt anyone, at least, but it's almost like Copper deliberately tries to be unlikeable. Rus is hopeful he can be a good influence for him.
Copper feels many feelings about Rus, and most of them make him too uncomfortable to think about for long enough to identify. He’s not quite jealous, he certainly doesn't envy how people treat Rus like a child, but he also doesn't envy the way Rus acts like a child. It's...weird. Though he doesn't mind Rus actually spending time around him. Just as two guys, they get along fine, whenever Copper isn't deliberately trying to do things to annoy Rus.

Rus & Gold - intrigued, curious, could be friends some day.
Rus sees both a lot of Blue and Red in Gold, but there's a genuinely open curiosity about him that makes Rus feel like he can be more honest with him. Would like to be better friends, but Gold is weirdly evasive, despite seeming to enjoy the time they do spend together. Would like to get to know him better.
Gold is...amused by Rus. He sees his brother, and the connection to both Stretch and Edge is somewhat easy to make, but Rus? Rus is...inexplicable. Like some sort of cartoon mascot. Though he’s fully aware he’s intelligent as well, he’s still a Papyrus after all, but he can tell he’s hiding something, and wants to know what. Also generally likes spending time around him, but is chronically allergic to being normal about friendship ever.

Rus & Ghost - uncertainty lingers between them, though an unspoken understanding seems to ease that at times.
Rus would honestly love to befriend Ghost! He’s a Papyrus and should be included in Papyrus-group-friendship things! But for the life of him he can't ever figure out how Ghost feels...about anything. Still, he likes talking to him, and it seems Ghost doesn't mind listening.
Ghost is sort of...indifferent to Rus? On the slightly more positive side of neutral. High energy people tend to annoy him, but for whatever reason, Rus seems to understand that, and doesn't pressure him to keep up. He...appreciates it, even if he’s not too wild about having any sort of social life at all. Rus is. Alright.

Rus & Haze - suspicious and uncomfortable, Haze is not a team player by any definition, and seems to be one of the rare Sanses immune to viewing any Papyrus as their younger brother.
Rus would love for Haze to loosen up and get to know him (and the others) better, because really, there's no reason to exclude himself so much! He reminds Rus a lot of what might happen if you gave Red a ton of caffeine and gave him a reason to be paranoid. Similar weird vibes.
Haze is incredibly suspicious of Rus. Much like Gold is surprised by how removed he is from his own brother, Haze sees that as a reason not to trust him. Why does Rus stand out so much amongst all of them (he doesn't, Haze just doesn't know the others well enough)? His whole cutesy-goofy-schtick is bizarre and annoying, but he won't go starting fires too quickly. Why burn a bridge when you don't have to?

Rus & Void - mutual respect, though they don't get the chance to spend much time together.
Rus finds Void deeply interesting and would love to get to know him better, but he’s always disappearing off to do something else. Thinks he’s super cool, and knows he’s hiding something.
Appreciates Rus's enthusiasm, but feels more than a little out of place around him, which lends to avoiding him a little. He respects him, just wishes Rus would give him a little more space.

Could I request the FSG brothers with a s/o with a native language?
But the reader shows off their language skills by singing a song in that language that sounds very beautiful, however when the skeletons search up the song the lyrics are hilariously inappropriate. (Kind of like Rammesteins Dicken titten)
And when they’ve successfully pranked them they can hear them laugh from the living room.

Wine: He has a sneaking suspicion that he's being duped, so he'll discreetly search up the song in private. He'll find it quite silly, but he'll keep this information to himself. You'll have no idea he's caught on until you bust the song out again and he starts singing the lyrics along with you perfectly, smirking knowingly at you. He has a knack for turning pranks on their head like this.
Coffee: He loves listening to you sing and the moment you start singing, he's on his phone looking up the song. Only to let out a flustered squeak and sink into his hoodie as he reads the dirty lyrics. W-why are you suddenly singing about that??

Top 5 underrated books you love
oh man see this requires me to judge "underrated" though...challenge, that. but here goes let's see what I can come up with
1. Doctrine of Labyrinths by Sarah Monette. This is the obvious one for me. Out of print fantasy series published at the wrong time my beloved. I mean, admittedly if it was published now the discourse would be a nightmare (if...people read it, maybe it would still be underread), but god I love it so much. I recognize it has its "storytelling flaws" or whatever but this was the first series I read where I felt like the author was putting their hands on my shoulders, looking me directly in the eye, and going "okay, Lise, I'm about to come for you where you live." and then did it.
2. Coldfire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman. It's been a while since I read this one so I hesitated a little over including it, because, you know, "how much can I say I recommend something if I haven't read it in ten years" but part of my problem here is that I've met maybe three other people in my life who have also read it. Maybe if more people started reading it I would actually get around to doing my reread. An early "huh this really feels like it should've been gay, are we sure it's not" book. I'm still not sure it isn't.
3. Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. And Children of Ruin and Children of Memory is sitting on my shelf eagerly awaiting me, but this was the one that kicked it off and I keep trying to recommend it to people, but for some reason "it's about sentient spiders you guys" isn't as compelling a sell as I feel like it is. But it's about increasingly advanced spiders on an evolution fast track building a civilization you guys and also about conflict with the other and all that but. I'm really here for the incredibly fascinating worldbuilding Tchaikovsky does with the spiders.
4. The Player of Games by Iain M. Banks. I really want to at some point ask Ann Leckie if she's read any of the Culture books because...I just feel like there's something there. Not the same, but some kind of connection, and I felt it particularly reading this book. I remember enjoying Consider Phlebas (clearly, I picked up the "next" one in the chronology of this 80s space opera series), but this is the one where I read it and was like. Oh, fuck, you got me. In general I feel like this is a very interesting series worth revisiting - I wouldn't say it's obscure but I feel like a lot of more recent sci-fi/fantasy readers overlook it because "80s sci-fi" has a lot of connotations, deserved or undeserved. I will just say that I'm picky about my sci-fi and this one got me.
5. I went back and forth for a while about what to put here but I think I have to say A City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff Vandermeer, because I remember when I started seeing Annihilation and its sequels take off going NOW YOU GUYS FIND HIM (pleased and exasperated) and that book was my intro to his work. And I still in some ways like it (and his other earlier work) more. But just in general if you are into New Weird stuff, or enjoyed his more recent work, I recommend going back and looking at his older stuff, too. I happen to know that after being hard to find for a while FSG is now reprinting those books.
BONUS: I can't actually say Lymond Chronicles is "underrated" as such because it has a very devoted following and a whole crop of authors talk about it if you start looking, but still. The devoted following is not actually huge. And I love it very dearly.

FSG Sans trying to be king when the skeleton uprising happened gave me an idea, you're free to ignore if it ends up too similar to the original.
Something has come across all the newly created skeleton people, and they see our Skeleton as the original prime skelly and proclaim them king of all skeletons!
How does our Skeleton deal with the responsibilities of being king, will war or peace? Will they accept the responsibilities, or ignore them? If ignored, the new skeletons are very persistent about the role of king, and will not accept no for an answer.
The first part of the ask is here.
Undertale Sans - He's flattered, really, but he's no king material dude. Please, he just wants to chill and live his life, he's not responsible. He's a joke to society. He can't be king. He will try to give his new powers to Papyrus, and if he doesn't want them, he's going to hide in Toriel's house hoping she will scare them enough to have peace.
Undertale Papyrus - Wowie. He never expected to be a King so soon in his life, even if somehow he has some sort of deja vu about this and he really doesn't like it! He will simply ignores all his bad thoughts about this and takes the job. He quits not two months later because he is so stressed out his own body is giving up. Why don't you become a part of monster kingdom instead and let Asgore rules you? That would be like so much better!
Underswap Sans - He thinks it's all a joke and gives stupid orders ironically like "go burn all the cars of the city my minions". He didn't expect his skeleton army to actually listen to him and start to burn cars in the city. Blue runs to Toriel to beg her for help lol. He's not ready to be king.
Underswap Papyrus - He jumps on Asgore's back like a koala, all limbs shaking, and refuses to let go. If the skeletons want him to be King, they'll have to get him out of here, and good luck with that because Asgore is really strong and will kick your ass if you're bullying him. He feels safer here. Go see Blue or something.
Underfell Sans - That's two weeks he didn't leave his house now, circled with skeletons. He's only teleporting house when he needs to fill the fridge. He's holding well. He's not going to be king, and he's patient. You'll get bored before him. Go ask someone else, he just beat a King's ass to get out of the Underground, he's not going to take the role back lol. He knows that would make him a target.
Underfell Papyrus - If you insist, he might say yes. He kinda likes being the center of the attention and having everyone treating him like some god. For the first few days at least. After that, he's starting to realise he actually has responsibilities and that people can get angry if he's not filling them. Like, you know, when they ask for homes and Edge looked blankly at them like they asked him to grow a second head or something. Edge might have a revolution on the hands soon...
Horrortale Sans - He keeps hissing and chasing skeletons delegations who comes out of his house. He's not their King and he swears one of this day he's going to kill one of them to show all the others that he's dangerous and not to bother him. He doesn't take the situation very well.
Horrortale Papyrus - Well, if you really want him to give you orders if can give you chores to do around the farm but that's it lol. He's not a ruler and he did enough politics Underground for a lifetime so it's either you're ok with taking care of the farm or you leave. He thinks you don't need a ruler, go live your life freely or something. He's not worth worshipping. He's just some guy. He might asks Toriel for advices about this situation. It makes him very uncomfortable.
Swapfell Sans - He is still in his bunker. As long he's locked up safe and can't see there are hundreds of skeletons waiting outside his house, it's not real. Someone will take care of this eventually and he just has to wait for the all thing to be other. It's alright, he prepared for a nuclear winter so he has food for two years. He can wait.
Swapfell Papyrus - Rus feels like he is high and that he is just hallucinating everything, and will act like so. You want him to be King? Sure! You want him to take over the throne out of Toriel's hands? Why the hell not! It's only when the skeletons actually take over power than he's freaking out and realising it's real and that he is now in very big troubles. Rus... Rus is going to join his brother in his bunker to wait for the situation to fix itself.
Fellswap Gold Sans - Oh course he will accept the job. He finally has a chance to show Toriel how wrong she was to treat him like a random minion and he will make all of monsterkind poop in their pants! He's starting his epic villain arc and no one can stop him now *insert evil maniac laughter*
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He was very ok with it, surprisingly, until everyone screamed for him to do a speech and Coffee suddenly found himself in front of thousand of people. His limbs started shaking and he couldn't say a word, frozen in fear. Someone coughs in the assembly and that's too much, Coffee bursts in tears and runs back home, screaming his brother name for help.

“That’s impossible.” Fabinho stared at the man in front of him as if he was in shock. “You can’t be leaving, you just can’t!”
“What—I mean, where did you get this from?” Firmino inspected Fabinho’s Kindle reader with a thoughtful frown. “This is just reports, it isn’t official Fabi. I wouldn’t leave without telling you two.”
“Well, wherever this report came from,” Fabinho made a sweeping gesture through the air with his long arms, “it’s going to spread like wildfire. Don’t you check your own news to shut down any rumors?! Meu Deus, what’s everybody going to say? What’s Ali going to say? You can’t just leave like this!”
While Fabinho ranted about the whole mess of a situation, Firmino read more of the article on Fabinho’s Kindle. He shook his head at the news going crazy over one Sky Sports reporter opening his mouth.

“These are all lies.” Firmino would’ve tossed the Kindle out the window if it wasn’t Fabinho’s. Instead, he set the reading device on the beanbag and went on. “I don’t want to leave, I said so myself. The boss wants me here, Ali wants me here, you want me here…they’re all a bunch of liars, caramba!”
“It’ll spread like wildfire, I know. But as long as you want to stay, you’re staying.” Fabinho gazed at Firmino intently. “Do you want to stay? You don’t have to say yes.”
“There are so many young strikers here, and I barely get playing time. But for our teammates and the boss? Heck yeah I’m staying.” Firmino took Fabinho’s hand in his and guided the younger man toward the door. “Let’s find Ali.”

It didn’t take Fabinho and Firmino to find Alisson. That probably had to do something with the fact that Alisson hadn’t found out the rumors yet. When Fabinho and Firmino told him, though, his face blanched to a ghastly shade of off white.
“It’s not true, is it?” he near-whispered. He slumped against the wall, as if the news had made his legs too weak to stand. “Please, say it isn’t so.”
“If I was leaving, I would’ve told you before I let the press say anything,” said Firmino. “I won’t just disappear on you like that.”
Alisson hugged an oversized, fluffy, white chibi-kitten shaped plushie to his chest, peeking over the top. It had been a present from Minamino, and Alisson had just unearthed it from his large pile of hammock pillows. “I don’t think I could live without you.”
“You did,” Firmino gently reminded him, stroking the fur of the plushie. “In Brazil, remember?”
Alisson held the plushie even tighter, as if doing so would keep Firmino there. “You know it’s not the same anymore. I didn’t know you then, now I do. It’s different.”
Meanwhile, Fabinho watched the two, a determined look on his face. “Well, there’s only one thing to do.”
Alisson set the plushie onto a nearby chair, giving it another pat on the head. “What’s to do? We can’t erase the news.”
“We can’t. But we can persuade the club to tie Bobby down here.” Fabinho whipped out a calculator from nowhere and punched in some numbers. “If Bobby scores one goal per game, he can score 15 goals before the end of this season for us alone. That’s impressive. And if you score even half that number…”
Firmino stared at Fabinho’s calculations, wide eyed. “Then I get to live with you guys?”
“No, you’ll go to Everton and get pummeled by Pickford. Of course you stay with us baixinho! Now how about a hug?” Alisson lunged towards Firmino before he could say anything, wrapping his arms around him. “Group hug!”
Fabinho tossed the calculator aside and joined in. For once he was grateful for his physique as he squeezed into a tight spot between Alisson and Firmino.
“We’re not letting you go without a fight,” he promised. It could end up as a losing battle—but for now Fabinho focused on shielding his two honorary older brothers from the outside world.

Hey batik, sorry if I just can't shake this off but is it an odd sight that our own fans are so confident that we will miss playoffs? I remember the near-collapse in the 2015 season when we clinched on the last day the fan reaction wasn't this bad.
A lot of fans don't recall that detail, anon. They recall two Cups followed by what they consider to be losing seasons because the playoffs didn't result in five more Cups.
Considering I'm not one of those fans who is ready to give up on this team, it's hard to say why people turn. But part of the thing with the 2015-16 team is that they struggled early but gained consistency. I would guess people are struggling now because the team continues to struggle.
That still doesn't make it right to be hateful and horrible toward the team, the coaches, the staff.
I, for one, will believe the Pens have a playoffs spot waiting until the official math officially disagrees. And, either way, I will continue to love this team and believe in its future.
(It also occurs to me ... the Pens used to be owned by Mario, who is a Pens god. The fans knew under his tenure that the team was in good hands, run by a man with stellar hockey sense and a deep love of the team. He lived/lives in the city and people see him around town. They feel like he is one of them. And they owed/still owe him a lot for keeping the Pens in Pittsburgh. The team is not only an economic engine but offers such incredible support for so many charities in the region. And that's because Mario saved the team. Fans remember that. Usually. But fans don't know Fenway Sports Group, which is based in Boston and may or may not have a Pittsburgh presence. So fans might not feel the same kind of loyalty when the going gets tough. If Mario had to sell the Pens, I feel like FSG was probably the best option. But I still can't help but think things might be different if Mario still had the reins.)

There seems to be a lot of historical revision in the Rossi/Yohe article. Lots of things that Rossi & Yohe have previously reported is being thrown out the window to fit a new & improved narrative. No one will ever know the real truth (and "real" truth rarely exists in such complex situations since each person has their own viewpoint). Some of the new narrative makes more sense than the old narrative; some less sense; and some is plain storytelling.
The new narration puts David Morehouse as one of the chief villains. An easy target - not a hockey person, out of the biz. The new narration also makes a point to remove the blame from Mario. (Not surprising, since both Yohe and Rossi worship him.) Apparently, contrary to all their previous reporting (because all previous reporting is allegedly based on Morehouse's lies), Mario was completely uninvolved in the GM search that resulted in Burke & Hextall.
New narration says Morehouse intended to split the core and that's what Hextall was hired for. So where does this leave Mario? This happened a year before the FSG sale, so he can't use the "I sold the team" excuse. So uninvolved in the Penguins, that he was unaware of Morehouse's plans? That Morehouse went rogue and the ownership didn't care? So Yohe & Rossi have cleared Mario of hiring Hextall, only to point to Mario's negligence.
Rossi reported multiple times that Mario promised to "take care" of Geno (regarding the 2022 contract). Yet now the new narrative paints Mario with zero involvement, equaling zero care. So did Mario lie to Geno? Were Rossi's previous reports erroneous and Mario never said that? If previous reports were wrong, why should we believe this new report is accurate?
Also amused that as recently as April 15, Rossi was contradicting reports that Hextall was hired to split the core (tweet in response to question about LeBrun's article). So we're left to believe that Mario cares about keeping Geno, yet Mario completely ignores that the people under him have no intention to re-sign Geno?
There's plenty of other info I question in the new narration. It's a nice story: makes Morehouse the fall guy for all past mistakes, while making FSG look good. Maybe it's all true, maybe not. I'm just left wondering how much did the Pittsburgh Penguins pay The Athletic for such an elegant historical revision, to give them a perfectly clean slate.
this is interesting and echoes a lot of the discussion I saw happening over on the /penguins and /hockey subreddits. I'm perfectly content living in the land of "we'll never know," frankly — I'm as nosy as the next person and sure, would love to know how it really shook out, but we never will. alas!

Genuinely don't want Klopp to leave ever and I feel sick every time I think about it, but with Xabi taking himself out of the running (I have thoughts about this which I'll go into below), I'm drawing a blank on who's out there who isn't a flop manager and also has chaotic energy like Klopp does.
I was thinking about this during today's match because the commentators wouldn't shut up about the next season, and all of a sudden one name came to me: Luis Enrique. Ldflksfjlksja not that he's even in the conversation at all, but I love Lucho and while he's different from Klopp, he's so chaotic and we need that. Enjoy my crack thought.
Okay, so Xabi: he reminded me of why I love him so much and it's his levelheadedness. I think he made the right decision to stay and for the right reasons, but ughhhhhh I want him to be the Paisley to Klopp's Shankly. And putting aside the fact that we do need to see if Xabi can continue his success (I don't doubt him; he's one of the rare managers who was humble enough to start off his coaching career the right way unlike many peers of his generation) that's not impossible, but I hate that people are saying this could be a sliding door moment because...I'm afraid they have a point. Next time he moves, it may very well be to That White Devil Team That Must Not Be Named.
Anyway...there are only so many decent managers who are active currently and even fewer good ones. Beyond that, it's almost a desert when you try to look for great ones, and you're looking for someone who would be interested or at least open to moving and you're close to zero managers then. That's always been the case. This is not unique to us or 2024. I don't know whom we're going to get. FSG likes its data, and their recent rehire of Michael Edwards says volumes about how they want to prepare for the post-Klopp era, so I don't think we're going to get anyone who's unproven and I think they'd want someone who'll bring stability instead of heading right out the door or cause internal drama. Part of the reason everything's hush-hush is because that's how FSG operates, but I just can't think of viable prospects at the moment nor do I particularly want to because I want to live in denial land some more.
