Hmmmmmmmm what a question. I guess, through life? This sounds like such a bullshit answer haha but yeah, I found that the best way to keep your inspiration going is to live life and experience new things. Most of the ideas behind what I draw come from things I did myself or saw or said or heard and so on - talking to my friends and family inspires me, books inspire me, music inspires me, going out and looking at people/places inspires me, other people’s fanworks inspire me a whole damn lot too! As far as I’m concerned, inspiration is sort of everywhere - there’s days in which I’m more receptive to it, and days in which it flies right over my head and I sit there wondering where the hell it went, but in general as long as I’m living and doing things ideas in the end will come my way haha

It’s why it’s called transformative work, after all!! If you want to keep as close to canon as you can then all the power to you, but once you start transforming the canon (shipping non-canon is included in it, of course), putting a limit on how much you can transform it would just be unfair! As long as we’re all on the same page about the fact that it’s not canon, and therefor no one can force the idea on anyone else, I don’t see a problem with it!

A small letter from Val ➸ 2020 was really an unpredictable year. I had a really bad time with some family arguments as well with school. But is amazing how one small thing made my year SO BRIGHT. Haikyuu brought me so many laughs, sobs and so many emotions in general. I wasn’t into anime until I watched it, now I’m watching like 3 animes at the time and reading the Haikyuu Manga. So first I’m gonna thank Furudate Sensei!

(( I honestly am not really heart set on any so far (apart from Kurai’s own strong bias so far for Kirishima so far), I’m kind of just open to see what develops, cuz Kurai could end up getting attached to a lot of people. Mannytsu, have you ever play Fran's Bow, Sally Face, Satsuriku no Tenshi, Ib, Yume Nikki, Paranormal Sydrome, Umieko: When They Cry, Corpse Party: Blood Drive and Coffin of Ashes? Do you ever watch BNHA, Happy Sugar Life, and Satsuriku no Tenshi?
I’ve played Ib, Corpse Party, Paranormal Syndrome and a little bit of Yume Nikki. For Fran Bow I’ve seen let’s play. Haven’t watched any of the animes, but Satsuriko no Tenshi seems interesting. Also everyone is bugging me about BNHA, so maybe one day :’D

I watched Shouto Todoroki: Origins and I'm reminded of how insane both Izuku and Shouto are. They were made for each other, but fuck they wrecked that arena. Listen to me, the tododeku fight is incredible. It gives me so many different emotions and feelings. It really is the climax of the sports festival arc and it goes out with a bang. They could've killed someone or each other. Izuku sacrificed everything and gave his all to fight AND save Shouto from his past so he could look to the future using talk no jutsu. *Chef's kiss* 🤌 It's poetic cinema at its finest. I was trying to go into this episode the way I did for season 1 and 2 where I pretended I didn't know what was going to happen. But it is impossible with this episode because it's so poignant. Izuku challenging Shouto and his voice cracking when he tells Shouto his fire quirk is HIS and Shouto is having flashbacks mid battle. 😭 The way everything is intertwined and it flows together, the flashbacks cut in with the present time and Shouto narrating, the way we SEE the fight shift from Izuku's point of view to Shouto's point of view, then BACK to Izuku's to watch him witness Shouto's full explosive power....GENIUS. The director deserves an award for that. Horikoshi really went and invented cinema with Midoriya vs. Todoroki. He really went and gave us tododeku on a silver platter. The intensity. The emotions. The lighting. The drama. I just need to cry for a moment, it's beautiful. One of the BEST details is Shouto shedding a tear after his garbage dad loses his mind. He cried. 😭 He's free. 😭 Thank you Midoriya, indeed. 😭💖

uuuuuh soooo I finally bought BNHA season 4 and watched the last of the episodes last night... I was hoping it would inspire me to get back into at least a couple of my old BNHA fics but UUUH...
Well I mean I liked how the season started out with a strong “SAVE LIL GIRLS FROM CREEPS PREYING ON THEM!” message w Eri and the Plague Doctor Dude or whatever his name was before he became Handless Fran but anyways uuuUHHHH whAT exactly happened to that message when this fuckin “Gentle Criminal” bastard shows up, like I was down for this cute festival like damn wish they’d focused more on that but no we had to UUUUGH through this pedobastard shit with this lil girl that powers this dude up with her “LURVE” that completely negates everything from the first half and Midoriya is all like “WE’RE SO ALIKE” BABY BOY GREEN SWEET BEAN NOOO DON’T TALK ABOUT YOURSELF THAT WAY YOU ARE SO NOT LIKE THAT LOSER, THAT DUDE IS ON LIKE TWO DOZEN MORE KINDS OF LOSER PILLS THAN YOU BABE YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW >_O;;
