wednesday; hump day catch up.
Since we've had a lot going on here on main lately, I thought that I would post some stuff for anyone just logging in, or maybe as a reminder to check out the following posts:
OCTOBER MOD POST -- please take the time to read this one over, just to make sure rules are being followed and you're up to date with everything happening in the group.
ACTIVITY CHECK UPDATES -- something to help you stay up to date with the most recent activity expectations in the group. don't worry, nothing too scary or that you can't handle!
SHELTER APPRECIATON WEEKEND -- help us clear the shelter! come adopt your new best friend, or drop off some donations to help care for the animals they have.
HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE -- a formal event that you are welcome to add a little Halloween twist on -- not a costume party, but do wear a mask and formal attire!
TRICK-OR-TREAT NIGHT -- the big Halloween to-do involving costumes. volunteer to help out with the party for kids, or get out there and do some trick-or-treating!
FALL PHOTOS TASK -- running the whole month of October! please do be sure to read about the task, so you're completing it correctly. not mandatory, does not count for activity. just for fun!
ALL ABOUT AUTUMN & HALLOWEEN TASK (repeat) -- from last year, but still fun! this can also be done during the moth of October. again, not mandatory, does not count for activity. just fun!
STARTER PAGE UPDATED -- and lastly, we've added a couple of brand new starters to the page for October, so make sure you take the time to check them out!

@boku-no-terios / @greaterspeed - Looping you two together because you two are inseparable. Yoms and Silvy are two of the best STH Fandom writers??? Yoms’ Shadow is... I foam at the mouth for him, and Silvy is more in touch with Sonic’s emotional side then me and it makes reading their threads so good. A top with that, Yoms and Silvy are two of the most supportive people on this site. I love talking to them. Despite how cursed I am sometimes. I love you guys.
@raijinden / @yanfeizhi - I haven’t known Jack as long as it feels like I have. But man if Jack doesn’t make me absolutely go starry eyed. Their portrayals are top tier and on god if not for my anxiety I’d be in their dm’s every day vomiting out ideas. S/O: to Niff and the Squad who I sorta met through Jack, or I guess was able to get more familiar with? I think if not for Jack I wouldn’t have felt so comfortable with the other Squamates. Thank u Jack for being very cool.

What is it?
SVU Appreciaton is a blog that will host week-long events celebrating the show and it’s characters throughout the year.
When?
To be determined, but the first one will most likely take place in late March.
How?
Together, through voting, we will select the characters and pairings and when each will have their week.
[You can vote on the characters and pairings here]
Once the dates are set, we will be open for prompt submissions and later on voting on those prompts.
Important: there are too many characters and pairings and too little weeks a year, so unfortunately we can’t do it for everyone. We need at least two weeks for the creators to prepare their content and at least another two for prompts submissions and voting, so assume there’s a month for each character or pairing. But here’s a suggestion: those we can’t fit this year, we’ll host next year.
You will submit your creations by simply posting them to your blog and tagging them using the tagging system that will be defined for each week.
Who?
Anyone can participate.
You can contribute with any type of creative content: fanfiction, gifsets, videos, playlists, wallpapers, fanarts, moodboards, headcanons, graphics, absolutely anything as long as it’s created by you and it fits the theme of that day.
Rules
You can’t post your creation(s) earlier, but can post them later. You can make things for every day or just pick the one(s) you like the most. No pressure.
You can also have as many entries per date as you wish. If you want to write a fanfiction and make a gifset, a fanart and a playlist, or any combination of anything, just do it. The more the merrier.
The most important thing is that this is meant to be a fun event!
We need to know if there will be enough people on board to make this happen, so please interact with this post, follow us, message us, anything, really.
