I made a mini reference sheet for my Zootopia / WildeHopps kid ocs!
Their Birthdays:
Waverly: March 14
Lotus: August 11
Flynn&Fletcher: June 13
Laney: September 2
-
Age Differences:
When Laney was born, Waverly was 10, Lotus turned 6 a month before, and the twins were 3
In this ref however, I drew them all in a vague age, depending on how I see them looking and feeling the most like themselves
-
And the reason most of them are gray is because Nick's fur color is so ‘loud’, it was hard for me to work with for a while 😅

YO, BUJEET AND MWCA STANS, COME GET YOUR FUCKING JUICE! Summary:
Isabella was humming as she tied her shoelaces before she got a call on her phone from an unknown number. "Hello, who is this?"
"It's me." Buford's voice was on the other side of the phone, he sounded like he'd been crying for a long time. "I'm down at the police station. Can you get here before my mom does?" * Set after the events of the MWCA song parody of 'Drivers License.' Buford is in big trouble and it's up to Isabella to help him.

Linda Flynn-Fletcher
I think Linda Flynn-Fletcher is potentially one of the most misunderstood characters in the show.
It think comes from a natural enough place. Her role in the show is of course, to act as the potential threat to their summers of fun. While they boys never see her as a threat, narratively she's the big bad. If she sees it, its game over.
Here's the thing though. She's a not a bad mom. Her children LOVE her. Similarly to how Phineas and Ferb absolutely adore Candace and would do nearly anything she asked, Phineas, Ferb and Candace all love and respect their mother and don't disobey her. Now a bit of this is clearly Linda being a more permissive parent, but any rules that Linda has Phineas and Ferb never do anything to disobey their mother. While I wouldn't be surprised if there were one or two instances where Candace disobeyed her mother willfully, the closest I can think off off hand is Candace not doing a bunch of chores that she was supposed to do. Really, the fact that all her kids love her, shows how much all her kids feel loved in their household. And I think that's super important. Candace wrote a song about how much she feels loved by her mom, even if her mom is dismissive of Candace. But she still goes with Candace to see what the boys are up to even if she doesn't believe it. She sets boundaries on how often Candace can bust the boys sure. But she hasn't forbidden Candace from doing it altogether. Nor does she punish Candace for presumably lying?
At MOST Linda will say something like: "let's get you out of the sun" after a failed bust. The worst of it I think is probably the time Linda made her promise not to try or suffer the Pharaohs curse. Which, was just some guy in a Pharaoh costume telling Candace curse you. Linda goes out of her way to read books to try and deal with her daughter. She and Candace still clearly hold a lot of affection for each other and do spend a decent amount of mother daughter time together. Linda gives books to her daughter, tries to direct her to other activities, and finds her sleep busting cute, and sometimes goes out of her way to do activities her daughter wants to do with her. All things considered Linda is REALLY patient about Candace's busting. Could she be doing more to get to the bottom of why Candace is presumably acting out? Sure. But Doofensmirtz could also be doing a better job of listening to his daughter and not insulting her (or do we not remember why Vanessa wears earbuds around the house) but we all call him a really good dad.
A LOT of shows have kids hiding a secret from a parent for one reason of another. But while the crux of the show rests on Linda not knowing what her sons are doing, its not because its a secret. The boys aren't hiding it from her. The boys genuinely believe she knows. Lawrence genuinely believes she knows. Candace is the only one in the family who really grasps the situation.
Linda's ignorance, her disbelief of the wild shenanigans that her children get into is easily mistakable for normality. For representing the oppressive day to day. The same thematic antagonist as school. A mom who wants whats best for her kids, and thinks that whats best for them is them being normal, without realizing what's really best for them. After all why else we saw what would happen if she found out in Quantum Boogaloo. But the fact of the matter is aside from that one future (which also featured an effectively evil leader in Doofensmirtz, and therefore implies more factors at play than just Doofensmirtz and Linda's characters), we don't really know how it would play out in the long term. Future Linda even just kinda moves on after discovering the truth.
Linda is exactly like her kids. She just does the same things on a less physics breaking scale. The woman has like 37 different hobbies. She takes a cooking class, donated an art sculpture, is part of a jazz group. She has a background in astrophysics. She was a pop star. She won a meatloaf contest. She takes french lessons. The fact that Linda has several hobbies is part of the reason the formula works at all. Linda is constantly trying new things which gets her out of the house, while her sons are trying their own new things. Her absence is what prompts Candace to have to go looking for her. Also, What Do It Do when the moment Linda gets put in Candace's position she acts the exact same way.
Also it's why she and Lawrence are so compatible. They have a lot of weird hobbies they spend together. She likes Lawrence's history references. They watch car racing together. They went spelunking together. They go bowling regularly enough to have equipment. She has played the bagpipes while Lawrence danced (which sidenote: do you think she taught Candace how to play the bagpipes?).
Not to mention her extended family. Think about it. Her mom was a competitive roller derby skater who once bit a skate and shook it like a dog with a chew toy and pulls elaborate pranks with her identical twin. Really she's a lot like Candace with her aggressive passion. Her dad apparently won a balloon race, but tells the story in the most straightforward way possible, sometimes very oblivious, but is overall a lot like Phineas. Her sister is an adrenaline junky. And back to Quantum Boogaloo for a minute: Her granddaughter is just like Candace, Grown up Candace is a lot like Linda. Do you not see the implications!!?!?!? LIKE???? DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT LINDA WAS PROBABLY A LOT LIKE CANDACE AND PHINEAS WHEN SHE WAS YOUNGER?!!?! YOU THINK IT SKIPPED A GENERATION OR SOMETHING???
Do you think Linda used to complain about Tiana??? Do you think Linda thought her family was weird and was embarrassed by them??? Do you think Linda ever called herself the only mature/normal member of her family?? LIKE CANDACE DOES????
Anyway, Linda is just like her family. Sure, she is RELATIVELY more normal, but that's relative, and probably simply because the universe bends itself around to keep her from knowing. Linda literally cannot find out about the real nature of her universe. Linda is just a grown up version of her children, seeking to make the most of each day, but within the bounds the universe has set upon her, both as an adult woman and mother, but also in the laws of physics expected of her. But she still makes the most of her life. You don't have to build a roller coaster to make the most of each day and all that.
I think if Linda is representing anything its that even parents can have rich fulfilling lives. Where they make the most out of each day. Having fun with your life doesn't stop with adulthood. Even if you have more responsibilities doesn't mean you can't have fun? Sure childhood is something you can't get back but growing up isn't inherently bad either?

Don't Need a Dictionary-
Rating: T
Relationships: Heinz Doofenshmirtz/Perry the Platypus
Additional tags: Meet cute, tattoo artist Heinz, Florist Perry, mute Perry, Human Perry the Platypus, the assorted Flynn-Fletcher family, Candace being a teenage girl, beta-ed by myself
Gift for @erizumon !
Perry first meets Heinz the same way Heinz makes his entrance anywhere; loudly, dramatically, and heralding a whirlwind of chaos in his wake. On a fine Tuesday morning, just a couple of minutes after opening his store on the third floor of the Googolplex Mall, a stranger decked throat-to-toe in ink and a purple uniform storms to the front of his counter, scratched, scarred, blue eyes hunted and wild. He’s gripping the wood so deeply his nails were scratching grooves into the rough oak wood of his desk. Perry blinks and straightens out of his slouch, half expecting a plea to call the local authorities, or to hide him, or something. Instead the stranger pants, and asks, as politely as he seems able to, “How do I say Fuck you in flower?”

Disney 100 ✨🏰🤍
Tumblr media
Wishing you all a happy new year and to Disney, a belated 100th anniversary! 🎉
To celebrate Disney’s century milestone, I created an illustration based on 100 of Disney’s most known and loved characters from their respective movies/ series. I’ve included all the ones I’ve known and feel are generally popular but I’m sorry if your personal favourites aren’t here.
This has been in the works for almost four months now but due to many delays I couldn’t finish it on time. So here it finally is!
Out of all these range characters, the hardest to draw was the Cars. I’m not used to drawing cars so I’m not generally good at them (yet). Some of these may look simple and easy to draw but trust me, they’re not 😂.
With drawing the characters and the background, I like to be accurate with the respective style it’s drawn/ animated in and the colours too. But also I wanted to also simplify the 3D ones and add a little depth using shadow to the 2D ones. For example some of these films would have a desaturated grainy effect to it and I wanted to keep that. But finally after months of working on it, it’s completed and I’m happy with it! ✨.
Please, please do check it out on Instagram too:

If this link doesn't work, my username is @/artofzafrasarfraz - it's where I put all my drawings up on. Please do Shar on stories and comment. Much appreciated 🥹🫶🏼

PnF Headcanon; One of the reasons Perry’s OWCA’s greatest agent is that he got a LOT of practice trying to keep the Flynn-Fletcher kids safe from themselves. Before Phineas and Ferb learned about “safety” they used to make a lot of dangerous things that nearly got him killed while Candace was—Candace. (Meaning she would end up in wild situations that she would need help to get out of, just like now.) To this day, Perry has war flashbacks to the trouble they used to get into, just like when Monogram remembers the academy. Fortunately, those wild and unpredictable situations they created managed to get Perry in top form and prepared for ANYTHING. (I imagine that if Perry’s brainwashed and he hears one of Candace’s shrieks, he’ll instantly snap out of it.)

A List Of My Major W.I.P's
(feel free to ask about them)
Just as the title says, a list of my major long-form WIP's with a plot synopsis and a link if there is one. some of the PnF ones do have links that you can find on my AO3, but their old and not my best quality. I just wanted to make one of these so ya'll know the stuff i'm working on, slowly but surely.
Warrior Cats:
Warriors Wild Rewrite
A 6 arc rewrite of the Warrior Cat series, including rewriting plot points, character relationships, development, family trees, and more. Includes original characters. 19 chapters of Arc 1 planned, all 6 Arcs conceptualized.
Side Blog - @wc-wild-rewrite
The Kit Tribe (Rename Pending)
An original story set in the canon timeline of Warriors around Arc 3, following a group of rogue kittens who are adopted into Thunderclan, and how their existence changes the story. Concepts planned.
Undertale:
Growing Up (Take Me Home)
A multiversal AU set in the 90s following Error, Fresh, and Geno as they are adopted by Toriel and Asgore, and grow up surrounded by a cast of colorful AU counterparts. Take Me Home is the sequel series following Error's return to his home town 30 years later, and how his children handle learning their father's past.
Roommates (name pending)
When a code virus destroys most of the multiverse, the Star Sanses have to evacuate the survivors into Undertale, and try to adjust to so many variants living in the same world. When they reach the surface, the humans aren't so happy about this. An additional stress is the caused by the mysterious appearance of a group of monsters who can bleed, and claim they have caused the end of the world.
In A Dark, Dark House
After a series of mishaps lands a group of Papyruses and a Gaster in the classic universe, they move in together and learn how to live amongst humans. When Frisk and Flowey have to move in with them, hijinks, chaos, in-jokes, and the looming threat of anti-monster groups ensue.
Home And Thunder
A bitty fic with an entirely original cast. When regular human Katie finds a group of abandoned bitties during a storm, she suddenly becomes a bitty owner, but when she meets a mysterious bitty expert in the hills, her life takes an unexpected turn.
On AO3 (unfinished) - Home & Thunder
Shadowspin
An original Undertale AU, and my very first. A young human falls into a starving underground, and must traverse through the horrid conditions while deciding the fates of the monsters they meet, all while being haunted by a set of unruly ghosts. Can she save this dying kingdom, and what happened to the brilliant Doctor Gaster?
Undermal
A series of audio transcript style writings recorded by an unknown scientist, detailing his experiments with animal-monster fusion. When one of them escapes containment, trouble brews for the monsters of the underground.
Phineas and Ferb:
Cruise Of A Lifetime
(Human Perry) Perrin B. Fletcher wins a week long cruise with whatever guest he wishes, so he picks his nemesis, Doctor Heinz Doofenshmirtz. However, when they arrive at the cruise, they find several other agents and their villains have won the same thing. Can Agent P find out who's behind this? Can he save the cruise when it goes awry? and can he get into the heart of his nemesis before the week is over?
When Dimensions Align
(Platypus Perry) When a mission goes wrong and Heinz and Perry are dragged through a portal into another dimension, they must team up with unlikely friends, alternates of themselves, and familiar faces. Meanwhile, Phineas collapses after finding Perry's lair, and the Summer Gang must team up without him to discover the truths about their pet platypus. But when another dimension threatens the very existence of Danville, can the rest of the dimensions team up to save them?
A Different Path (What If?)
(Platypus Perry)
What if Heinz adopted the flynn-fletcher children? This two arc series explores a world where he does just that, and causes a string of friendships, revalations, attempted murders, and a brand new nemesis-ship to tackle.
on AO3 (unfinished) - A Different Path (What If?)
A New Neighbour
(Platypus Perry)
a canon-divergent au featuring original characters as the MCs. What would happen if a new perosn joined the Summer Gang? Well, Jane Seymour, her brother Jason, and their pet beagle Bailey find out as they move to Danville and meet the cast.
Kidnapped
Returning from a late night mission, an injured Perry discovers his niece and nephews have been kidnapped. Teaming up with Agent Pinky, he enters a mission far more dangerous than first expected, with a backstabber behind it all.
The Magnus Archives:
Foggyspiraleyes / Fractal Minds
Michael escapes the Distortion's grasp at the beginning of Season 1, and rejoins the Archive. Will his presence save the Archives from certain death, or will it only bring ruin?
on AO3 (updates every sunday) - Fractal Minds
Siblings
The Watcher gets bored, and decides to play god by creating a new world with its siblings to have a chance at being human, with the cast as their siblings and parents. but Isaac Bouchard does not remember this as he moves into a little town called Magville. Will he and the other entity children discover the truths behind their very existence, or will hidden forces at play turn this quaint town into a living nightmare?
Original:
Paranormal Daycare
Brie, our protagonist, gets a job at a highly suspicious daycare. Once they get past the boarded windows and creaky floors, they discover it cares only for the paranormal and otherwordly. But, when they discover a goverment operation trying to erase the supernatural, she teams up with her co-workers to keep the children safe, no matter what.
That Time I Raised Cthulu
A rather oblivious man finds a baby octopus on the beach and takes it home with him, which is already a terrible idea, but when his brother tells him he just kidnapped an infant eldritch god, he accepts his fate of quite literally raising Cthulu. Shenanigans ensue.
Of One Sky
A series of stories set in the same world from the perspective of various supernatual races, each with their own genre. It explores a retelling of popular supernatural creatures while exploring the lore of how their multicultural city was created and currently functions.
Hellspawn
A highschool student signs up for a babysitting gig during the summer, only to discover he was to babysit The Devil's grandchildren. When he meets a flightless angel, he discovers realms he didn't know existed, while trying to keep these demon children alive.
Life Of Egg
Not actually a story idea, but a video game. One of those 2D side scrollers like Night In The Woods mixed with Stardew Valley-esque quests and towns folk. Set in a forest, you play as Egg(bert/bertina), a robin who was tasked with babysitting your corvid cousin's eggs while they flew south for the winter. Meet the cozy cast of the forest, ranging from lesbian bees to a mafia gang of cats. Create things with the items you find, like a button-wheel bike and a leaf umbrella. Decorate your egg house and knit things for your friends infront of your tiny fireplace. Celebrate holidays of your choosing, complete with plenty and plenty of puns. And, of course, you can romance most of the cast.
Hexagons and Hearts
My biggest personal project, with original worldbuilding, characters, magic systems, and races. Follows the stories of the Nebula Siblings, particularly Wild, an unkillable half-human who gets into wildly dangerous hijinks with his inhuman friends, and stops a few cults along the way.
Other:
Reality Collides
My ultimate hyperfixation crossover au. Featuring Gravity Falls, Creepypasta (Mansion Proxy edition), Phineas and Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law, Stardew Valley, Warrior Cats, The Magnus Archives, The Owl House, Undertale, Avatar The Last Airbender, and probably more eventually.
Dipper Pines takes a term off of college to explore some paranormal rumors across the world, resulting in the world's weirdest team up as their villains also team up to destroy the world for various evil reasons. Can this odd group stop worldwide destruction, or will the team's infighting break them apart before they get the chance?
Featuring a mostly cohesive fusion of all their magic systems occuring at the same time. Yes, even Warrior Cats.

[[ A little sneak peak at a scene that’ll appear in @strawberrycamel’s minibang fic, Welcome to Lake Eerie! I just had to draw this scene, though I’ll admit it took a while to draw. ]]
[[ Please go read the fic, and take a look at chronosabyss’s drawing as well! ]]

[[ Okay I know how the phandom as a whole loves writing angst for Danny and the other characters, but I also think it might be nice to have a week where they get a break. Like a week where we get to write or draw them having fun or relaxing. ]]
[[ I think sometime in July since not only is it in the middle of summer, but it might allow some of us to get a small break from everything else going on. We could also lean into the summer aspect and give a different aspect on things that happen in the summertime for Amity Park. ]]
[[ If anyone’s interested in this event idea, which I think might be called Jolly July as suggested by @drawinggheys on the DP Artist server, give a like or a reblog! ]]

So a few weeks ago I had a thought about who in the show was the best parent overall.
Sure, Jack and Maddie had their moments, but neither were there for Danny all the time, either too focused on catching ghosts or inventing. We even see how this affects the family dynamic with Jazz trying to grow into an adult figure even though she’s not entirely ready for that responsibility.
Then I realized that there was one parent on the show who was attentive to the needs of their child the most, and even the needs of other: Damon Gray, aka, Valerie’s dad.
And in case you can’t tell, this is indeed an essay. Well, kind of, if you push away any grammatical errors, but I don’t have time for that so we’re diving right into this.
Damon only appears in six episodes in the show, and only speaks lines in five of them. Therefore I’ll be eliminating D-Stabilize, as well as Phantom Planet as he doesn’t do anything there.
We first get to know about Damon in the episode Shades of Gray, which not only shows Valerie with the voice we hear for the rest of the show, but the start of her ghost hunting and subsequent interactions with Danny Phantom. Valerie mentions her dad right away in this shot, where she states "$579 and worth every one of my dad's pennies.”

We’re made aware of not only Valerie’s status as an A-Lister, but the fact that Damon makes enough money to be able to buy her expensive clothes as well as the home that they live in which shows up later in the same episode.

When you think about it, the fact that Reginald is a daredevil who isn't easily fazed by anything kind of explains a lot about Ferb and Lawrence. He skateboards, tried to jump a gorge, and can fly a plane. He's really got a lot of tricks up his sleeves, so Ferb having a lot of random skills makes sense too.
Lawrence isn't really phased by anything including his sons making all sorts of implausible things. He spent his childhood letting his younger brother beat him in all sorts of absurd contests, so him having weird skills makes sense too. Especially if he was raised by his father who participated in these hobbies. While I don't think he's "capable" in the same way as Reginald and Ferb, coming across as more of an airhead, he's not unskilled per se. Lawrence may not be as technically savvy as Phineas and Ferb, but he isn't completely hopeless there either, as seen in the things he DOES build or show a capacity to built.
So of while Ferb is of course quite and doesn't emote as clearly as them, he still has the same nonchalant nature. The Fletchers are just fearless, a penchant for learning and mastering various obscure skills, and fun loving. Of course Lawrence wouldn't be fazed by Phineas and Ferb, maybe he didn't do anything quite as wild as a kid, but her probably got into some pretty wild situations.
Of course Phineas is also really hard to faze too, which is part of why he and Ferb are joined at the hip. Though this isn't JUST a Fletcher thing.
Clyde is also a bit eccentric, though he has Phineas's more cheerful, eccentric, obliviousness if that makes sense, and Candace has her grandmother's violent obsessiveness. Both Flynn grandparents are fun loving and passionate who are always up for shenanigans.
Tiana is an adventurer herself, doing all sorts of exciting things. Which makes sense if she grew up with her nature loving parents who enjoy shenanigans. There's thrill seekers on the Flynn and Fletcher sides of the family.
All this said, while Linda is supernaturally oblivious to her sons shenanigans she has her own wild past with being a pop star and a background in astrophysics.
I feel it's also worth mentioning that as an adult, Linda is still expanding her skill set by taking a cooking class and participating in a Jazz group. The parents once went spelunking just because. Lawrence gives lectures in addition to selling antiques. The parents don't do just one thing. So their children's diverse passionate interests match that.
The real question is why Linda would be fazed by her sons inventions but that's a whole other issue.
