Tumblr media
This was actually brought up just recently in a server I'm in when I said I regretted not giving Amber stripes early on lol. It can be possible that stripes will come in or be more visible the older she gets. Though I've done quite a bit of stuff with teen/Adult Amber already that if I were to give her stripes when she's older...I mean I know they're future scenarios, not present stuff, so I'm not sure if they'd have to be retconned or not lol

Question about tigerstar… I see some rosettes is he part Bengal?
Tumblr media
He got his rosettes from his mama, Leopardfoot, who I hope to design one day soon to really show off their similarities!
While Tigerstar’s prefix obviously alludes to a big, strikingly-striped cat, I initially just thought it would be funny to make him spotted when I was first drawing him years ago… But then I crafted a whole name for myself around “spots” lol, and it became a staple.
I think I also mentioned in his little rough written design + the design notes that his spots, specifically, are oceloid rosettes. I’m still learning about cat genetics, but with my headcanon that Pinestar’s line interbred with some sort of small big cat far far down, plus his mama being spotted, of course Tigerstar had to have some rosettes as well to display that! ^^

STAR!!! I saw Godzilla x kong!!! It was good! I
Question, when and if you see it do you think you may get inspiration for your Godzilla fics again?
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hearing so many of my fellow fans did gives me hope, lol.
I would absolutely love it if seeing GxK gave me inspiration to write Godzilla fics again! I'd really like to try and see it this week, so fingers crossed!

Hope you are feeling well spotty!
And if it’s ok can we have five truths for molefang?
Five Truths: Molefang
i.
Born with a twisted, exposed maw, no one expected her to live very long, with many already mourning the experiences she would never have as she drew her first breaths…
She showed them all, very soundly, by confidently heading a path filled with far more life than any of those who doubted her.
ii.
She never wanted to fall in love. It turned her nose up, felt like nothing more than a distraction.
Perhaps she never truly did, anyway… Infatuation is such a cruel trick on the mind, after all.
But then Amberface stepped into her life, so purposeful and radiating power, displaying a softness for her only in the shadows… and she was drawn to it.
Even as she grew older, she always was drawn to such sorts of energy… But as she grew older, she ignored it to pursue far softer hearts.
iii.
As an adult, the numerous paths laid out before her frightened her.
There were so many options to fill her time with. Digging deep beneath the earth for ores, smelting them, turning them to weapons. Keeping up with the camp, decorating it for events, upholding and sharpening the defenses. Cooking, fighting, crafting… What should she do?
When her cubs were born prematurely, so small and sickly, and she lifted her head to watch Sagewhisker save the lives of herself and her three little new-blooms, her first action once she recovered was to follow in those pawsteps.
iv.
And then giving two away, to escape the tides of destiny and fate, and returning to the weakest, secured her decision.
v.
She never regretted her decision to break her family. The “deaths” of two of Amberface’s heirs shook the whole faction, but she knew the horrors that would await them all if they had a chance to grow under her…
She saw it in fruition, with Goldentongue. As he was subjected to his mother’s tight-clawed control, her verbal abuse, the expectations piled high on the shoulders of one so young, too young…
And again. She saw it in fruition, with Goldentongue. As he began to slink through the shadows. Amassing supporters from elsewhere. Returning to his place beneath his mother with a pelt stinking of hundreds of different scents that, once, he might have allowed Molefang to clean away…
But not now.
Not with those eyes so firmly fixed on the darkness ahead of him…

Who is grouseflight?
Grouseflight (Longtail)
Decorator of the Fall Thunderbringer Sect
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kitten -> Apprentice -> Decorator
he/him/his Demikater, asexual panromantic
Image IDs below the cut and information.
Parents: Cloverlegs, Robinwing Siblings: Cricketstrike
Mates: Sandstorm, Sun Firesong Platonic partner: Dustdapple Kits: Squirrelflight, Leafpool, Juniperpaw, Birchfall, Foxleap, Shrewbelly Grandkits: Petalblaze, Jaypatch, Hollylarch, Poppyfrost, Fernsong, Sorrelstripe, Sparkwood, Alderheart, Dandelionpelt
Mentor: (to be decided) Former Apprentice: Dandelionpelt
Grouseflight was one of Tigerchaser's followers, about two days after graduation, when a little ruddy kittypet joined the clan. He was Tigerchaser's cousin, of course he was going to support him! Crowtail was wrong to say that his own family was violent and abusive. He was wrong. Grouseflight constantly teased and growled about Tigerchaser, but never too much. He was not tied to Tigerchaser like Darkstripe. He didn't agree with the hatred of outsiders, though. His own mother was once a loner, and he wouldn't ever call outsiders or kittypets weak because of that. Dappletail was nothing but strong and noble. After Tigerchase was exiled, and he was offered a position to follow, Grouseflight changed. He apologized to his family and those he had wronged with his toxic rhetoric. He isolated himself for a while, but found comfort in Sandstorm and Dustdapple, and eventually, Sun Firesong. He began to realize that he did make mistakes, but he could heal and be better. Those three were the first cats he came out to. He didn't feel like a full kater, but didn't feel like a kattu or a catte. He was something different. Grouseflight asked to be called things that a catte would be called, but still use the usual kater pronouns.
Personal Comments:
He is not xenophobic because yeah. He learns, but also was never going to be. Dappletail is just too strong for him to dislike outsiders lol
Took a little bit, drew him in the same two day period as Sweetberry. Kinda proud of him, actually. He learns.
He never gets blinded here, that ends up being Cricketstrike who is blinded by the hare.
The cuff/wrap on his left leg is because he breaks his wrist TWICE in my draft (so far) and he has permanent numbness from it not healing right. It's basically the cat version of knee padding lol
---
[ Image ID - An image of Longtail, now named Grouseflight, in the Wildfire Rewrite of the series Warriors. He is a cinnamon mackerel tabby with a white chest, paws, and jaw. He has a scar across his lip and his nose bridge. His left ear is ripped slightly, and he has green eyes. End ID ]
[ Image ID - The same image as above, but with accessories. His left paw has two bracelets, one with small multicolor beads and another with a large stone painted to resemble a waning crescent moon. On his right paw is a large woven plant cuff stuffed with soft grasses. A necklace is hung over his neck, with it's main piece being green three (3) leafed clovers. Hanging off the necklace is also a small brown leather pouch. On his tail is a similar weaving to his left wrist, but is filled with the Common Harebell, which is a blue flowering plant. End ID ]

Tigerfire for the ship prompts? If that’s ok?
Absolutely!
"You should have trusted me. I would have guided you to the right path, Fireheart."
"After everything you've done to stand in my way, now you want to stand together?"
"You could be a great warrior. Let me help you."
"One day, you could be at my side."
"I love you as what you are, not what you used to be."
"You've sacrificed so much. Now I ask you to sacrifice just a little more... for me."
Bonus concept: What would happen after standing up to Scourge and BloodClan together.

You know what I need someone to write a fic where instead of Allison it’s Henry who finds Audrey and they go through the new loop together
Just a DLC where Henry is a companion would be amazing. XD I would read a fic about it though. I always need more good Henry content.

Hmmm I’m guessing crowtongue takes canon fire’s arc endgame since he becomes crow star… what’s his story? Does he get a mate? Kits?
Sort of, and not in the way you think it will! He plays both the parts he needs to, narratively, but also indirectly causes TNP. Crowstar takes a mate in Smokestripe, and his stepkits are Featherstorm (Feathertail) and Willowbark (Stormfur). His mate dies tragically just before the Dawn of the New Age, which leads to Crowstar's whole breakdown and pushing onward.
He leads the vigils allied to battle against the extremist groups backing Timberstar, and makes it out with only 1 life left, after he passes from his wounds. He does a lot of things wrong, and ruins a bunch of stuff along the way.
There are a lot of things that go wrong in Crowstar's character arc, and I'm not entirely sure where they are yet. Still working out Arc 1 as a whole, and he has a lot of growing to do.

Morningpaw (tawnypaw) I got an idea… tell cats that Cardinalfire is your dad, that Goldenflower asked him to surrogate for her
"It's perfect!" Morningpaw declared immediately, raising her tail in triumph. She nudged her brother who watched her with an uncertain expression, though he was leaning in. "Mom's... not around to tell anyone anything. And he's practically our sweetfather already!"
"....we are red like him..." Eveningpaw signed thoughtfully.
"Wait you're actually-" Cardinalfire piped up with alarm, his ears immediately going scarlet. "I-I'm too young to be a dad!"
"Not true, I'm your son," Cloudywing debunked.
"I'm too young for Goldenflower then!" Cardinalfire protested.
"But you are handsome," Jackdawstripe purred.
Cardinalfire whirled, looking between the gathered cats like he's being ganged up on in a fight, "Chaffinchtail! Please talk some sense into them!"
Chaffinchtail watched him, green eyes twinkling with amusement.
"...didn't we talk about having kits before? This may be the best of all worlds."
"CHAFFINCH-"

Ok spotty my friend…tell me the ranks! I need to know what they are what are weavers what are scouts?
Y’know what? Yes, fuck it, RANK MASTERPOST TIME!
•─────⋅ᓚᘏᗢ⋅─────•
Universal Fealty Positions:
Orator: The guiding authority of their faction, acting as the representative and head of their cats; they have the final choice on every faction matter, and are tasked with ensuring that their community and culture are thriving, alongside with naming new wards.
Liaison: The aide who operates as the faction’s primary diplomat (ensuring that ties across the alliance stay stable, and mediate peace amongst their own cats) and an emergency military commander (ensuring that their cats are well-trained in case of threat).
Allay(s): The healer(s) of the faction who tend to the general health - both mental and physical - of all the cats under their care.
Augur: The sole force of primary, bold magic allowed within the faction, tasked with observing their surroundings to receive and interpret signs from their gods, that being primarily of divine approval or disapproval of various proposed actions.
Supporters: Fully-named members of their faction. These are cats who have decided not to pursue a path beyond supporter, or are deciding what they would like to do beyond that point. In that meantime, they offer support to the other roles of their faction, going wherever they are needed.
Guardians: Those who look after and care for the young of the faction (primarily unweaned and ill wards) and typically also take the baseline upkeep of the camp under their care.
The Fenland’s Specific Positions:
Day-Scouts: Those who primarily operate during the hours of daylight, aiding in checking hunting traps, performing routine sweeps of more dangerous sections of the territory, and the like.
Groundskeepers: Those who train specifically to overlook and protect the camp, and fight off any potential aggressors who threaten their home, while also ensuring that the camp stays clean, safe, well-decorated and kept up with.
Legionnaires: Those who train specifically in advanced stealth and combat practices, alongside how to navigate the trickier portions of their territory safely, crafting maps both mental and physical through the swamps.
Trappers: Those who weave elaborate traps to set in the marsh, while also acting as the faction’s primary hunters, able to lie still for long stretches of time to coax prey closer to their claws or traps.
Observers: Those who watch at their borders, keeping track of who (or what) has passed by, honing their bodies to stay completely still for hours on end; those who pass by quickly grow uneasy due to the feeling as though they are being watched.
The Moorswept’s Specific Positions:
Tunnelers: Those who take up meticulous training to learn how to dig out, keep up with, and navigate the elaborate system of tunnels dug out beneath the moors.
Moor-Runners: Those who learn to race across the moors in high-speed pursuit of ground birds, rabbits, and other prey of that sort; trained up solely in speed and hunting.
Keepers: Those who ensure that the two claimed camps are kept up with, clean, and safe, and generally watch over and ensure the health of the kept herds of livestock.
Strategists: Those who excel in strategy and planning- whether it be in battle, hunts, patrols, or life in general.
Couriers: Those who are especially swift and with good memory; used most often to send immediate news between the camps and various outlook points.
The Riverward’s Specific Positions:
Divers: Those who dive into the river’s depths for prey and trinkets, able to hold their breath for extended periods of time and battle against rough currents.
Weavers: Those who are able to navigate the sparse land of their territory to hunt, skimming the surface of the water through traps or other alternative means of fishing.
Minstrels: Those who can string together words as smooth as the rivers at dawn, commonly charming and often found working right alongside the historians to spice up the fealty’s past with music and showmanship.
Observers: Those who train specifically to watch the skies and map out the weather patterns, looking for the telltale signs for storms and in case of flooding; also keep an eye on the population of the river to ensure that overhunting doesn’t occur.
Artisans: Those who tend to and decorate the camp alongside grave and celebration sites, ensuring that everything is clean, pretty, and, above all, safe.
The Woodruff’s Specific Positions:
Architects: Those who take up the task of building, and supervising the building of dens, defenses, etc; they are also responsible for the general upkeep, cleanliness, and decoration of the camp as a whole.
Convoys: Those who typically take up guard duties, who must be alert at all times during their shifts; less traditional “guards” and more “watchmen” - they keep tabs on the comings and goings of their faction members, and sound the alarm should anything threatening arise.
Tacticians: Those who train religiously and excel in the art of combat, studying strategy, battle moves, and the weak points of various predators and foes; they will always make up the front lines of battle.
Pursuers: Those who train specifically (sometimes exclusively) in the art of the hunt; these cats are the most skilled hunters, with notably sharp senses and quick reflexes, and will always make up the secondary lines of battle.
Scouts: Those who are exceptionally fast, usually the first to be out in the mornings to scout out hunting spots and potential dangers early-on within the territory; commonly those who patrol most often, and primarily are found at the back lines of battles in case they need to run for reinforcements or to update the camp.

Damn it spotty! You are making me excited to see what you have plan… I’m just hoping it doesn’t make me change anything… luckily this time I did not put the family relations in the allegiances so if I have to start over…
HSJDBHDJD
Most of the family relationships are staying the same!! With some additions and subtractions here and there, of course… There’s gonna be a few new faces — characters whose inspirations were pulled from later Warriors arcs, characters who are totally original, etc etc
“Lichenclaw” and “Laurel” are both getting HUGE makeovers though… They’re both getting new names as well! (Almost everybody is, on account of the new naming system,, say bye bye Shoebillbelly, rip in peace, you will be missed)
But I’m very excited to share… Though I’m NOT sharing anything concrete until I have stuff Plotted Out, so it’ll be a bit ^^’

Marigoldfall…. Why did he do? (Are you a believer that sunfall was not good nor was he a dad to bluestar?)
Tumblr media
Gosh, Marigoldfall. A topic for the Fall Thunderbringer Sect that is skimmed over. A bloody leader and a ruthless killer. When he gains a sliver of power, marrying Sun Oakbranch's son, Birchface, he abuses it gruesomely.
Mentor to Thistletangle, Marigoldfall instilled the xenophobic, abusive, and violent ideals within him. For being named after an herb that treats infection, he certainly is not. He is the infection.
He started the war with the Cold Creekbay Sect, which is resolved by Sun Firesong, almost two entire generations later.
He started the raids on Twolegplace, which gave them a reputation in the town as ruthless and violent murderers. This will spur the creation of the Band of Blood.
Sun Marigoldfall is not leader for long, though. He doesn't receive his nine lives, and is actually refused by the Sparkling Stars Sect entirely. When Goosefeather attempts to point this out, he is killed in secrecy. This is one of the mysteries of the first arc that is uncovered by Sun Firesong as a messenger.
Sun Marigoldfall thought of Thistletangle as his son. He viewed Bluefeather as an opponent. She was everything wrong with the sects, and that's why he promoted her to being deputy. She'd be easier to deal with when she became an issue, and easier to keep track of.
He never predicted that she'd rally enough cats to kill him. Especially not his former apprentice's apprentice. Especially not Thrushpetal, and especially not his former apprentice's son, Lynxpaw.
He cursed them all to the Crawling Rot, but it was he who suffered the consequences.
