Flameflight is Cardinalpaw and Hummingbirdpaw’s father- and he’s quite embarrassed about them leaving the trees for a “Fallen Bird”
TreeClan medicine cats tend to have “earthy” names bc they go onto the ground often to meet with other medicine cats and share tongues
Dovestar and Hailfeather are brothers
Most elders are ousted into BurrowClan or beyond but Pinefern is Stubborn Af and refuses to fall
Despite being so small they’re actually the hardest Clan to fight bc they literally just. Fall on you. Wtf do you do with that.
They also keep rocks in holes to toss if you try to climb so good luck fuckos
Because they rarely face cat-on-cat conflict they tend to go by the Live Fast Die Young mentality, and they do both excellently.

Sorting JLP Characters into Warriors Clans!
I know, why would I expect any crossover between these two fandoms at all? I don’t. I have just been thinking about this and decided to get it down on paper.
For anyone who doesn’t know the Warriors series, it is a very long-running series of books that follows wild cats living in one of five Warriors Clans. These noble cats follow the Warrior Code and attempt to live their lives in the forest in peace among the Clans, though battle and conflict is inevitable in a fight for survival.
A brief overview of the Clans:
ThunderClan -- Gryffindor! Fights for the spirit of the Warrior Code rather than the letter of it. Brave, strong, and never gives in on what they believe is right -- though often this leads them to act without thinking, following their emotions over rationality. Lives in the forest.
WindClan -- thin, fast runners who live on the open moor. Quick to run from problems rather than fight, often have inter-Clan rivalries, but once they open themselves up to dealing with their problems, they prove to be resilient in their efforts.
RiverClan -- sleek, swimming cats who live on the riverbed. They tend to form close personal bonds rather than ThunderClan style over-arching Clan pride, however, this often leads to secrets or tendencies to feel isolated when these relationships are not reciprocated.
ShadowClan -- secretive cats who thrive in the night. They are often seen as the default “bad” Clan in early books, but turn out to be far more sophisticated than that. Many older ShadowClan cats hold strong prejudge for half-Clan cats or cats outside the Warrior Code more so than other Clans. Live in the pine forest.
SkyClan -- a newer Clan that was reformed far away from the other Clans. They have recently joined the other four Clans, but this also makes them the most different. They have very little prejudice. SkyClan’s conventions are very different than the other Clan’s, from different naming traditions to hunting styles. However, they are still a bit wary of their neighbors and tend not to trust the other Clans as much as their own because of this. Live among the trees on the shore of the lake.
A brief overview of naming conventions:
A Warrior cat’s name changes as they reach different milestones in their lives. For example, a kitten is born with a prefix, something a cat would know, a color, something that represents their personality, etc. (say, “Blossom”), and is automatically given the suffix “kit”. When they become an apprentice, that suffix changes to “paw”. When they become a Warrior or medicine cat, that suffix changes again to something representing their journey (say, “heart” or “claw”, etc.) If they become leader, that changes again to “star”. Here is one example of a Warrior’s life in naming conventions:
Kitten: Blossomkit
Apprentice: Blossompaw
Warrior: Blossomheart
Leader: Blossomstar
Anyone still with me? You may ask: why am I jamming these two loves of mine together when they don’t go together in any way? Answer: I can’t stop thinking about Jo’s amazing SkyClan Warrior potential.
MJ:
At first I was going to go with ShadowClan, because, secret-keeping, but really I think MJ would belong in WindClan. As we see in Crowfeather’s Trial and throughout New Prophecy, WindClan cats have difficulty dealing with problems and change. They tend to lash out in ways that aren’t helpful to them (see: Breezepelt, Crowfeather, Onestar, Tallstar, even Heathertail!) but once they receive the healing they need, they tend to go on in a much more healthy way. Plus I can imagine her enjoying life on the moors under the open stars.
Some potential Warrior names for MJ: Shimmersight, Blueflower, Runningheart
Position in Clan: Deputy (because it gives her comfort to keep everything in order, I think she would be a very good WindClan deputy!)
Steve:
I’m not 100% sure where Steve would belong, but because of his desire for closeness and understanding with MJ throughout the show, I think he would belong in RiverClan. I tend to think of deep bonds being common in RiverClan, particularly forged through loyalty (see: Leopardstar’s loyalty to Mistystar throughout her deputyship despite Stonefur’s tragedy, Crookedstar and Oakheart’s relationship, etc.). I think how RiverClan cats come together is through personal support, not just Clan-wide support, and I think that is what Steve is trying for throughout a lot of the show. Plus, imagine him living on the river!
Some potential Warrior names for Steve: Shellheart, Oakfur, Duskspring
Position in Clan: Senior Warrior
Nick:
100% WindClan boy. His “flight” tendency instead of helping Bella proves that alone. WindClan have a strong tendency to avoid problems, run away rather than stand their ground, or close their boarders (*cough* Onestar *cough*) during times of trouble. Though, like Nick, they realize the error of their ways in the end. Nick is very much like his mom in this way.
Some potential Warrior names for Nick: Goldenfur, Stormheart
Position in Clan: new Warrior
Frankie:
100% ThunderClan girl. Standing up for what is right, though constantly distracted by or reacts rashly because of her emotions? Frankie is straight-down-the-middle ThunderClan!
Some potential Warrior names for Frankie: Lionclaw, Hawksong, Echoheart
Position in Clan: Warrior apprentice
Jo:
Jo is 10000000% SkyClan. I cannot express how SkyClan Jo is. This is why I even started this post in the first place! SkyClan is a Clan defined by it’s differentness from the Clans around them -- having reformed far away from the other Clans before being brought back to the lake, SkyClan’s culture is very different than the other Clan’s. They are far more accepting than the other Clans, but often don’t trust the other Clans around them. Jo certainly doesn’t fit in in Greenport, much like the SkyClan cats originally struggle to find their place along the lake. Jo embodies the SkyClan spirit of not allowing your identity to be erased, and maintaining who you are despite who is around you. Like SkyClan in general, Jo is often not taking seriously and downplayed by friends and family, but she doesn’t allow that to change who she is, and stands her ground in her own identity, fighting to be taken seriously as who she really is!
Some potential Warrior names for Jo: Shadowstorm, Amberheart, Tawnystripe
Position in Clan: Warrior apprentice
Bella:
I think Bella would be a ThunderClan Warrior. I think she embodies ThunderClan’s never-give-in spirit, particular early series ThunderClan. Unlike Frankie’s rush-into-action side of ThunderClan, I think Bella would be the type of ThunderClan cat that never wavers in fighting the long fight for justice, no matter how slow or fast the progress.
Some potential Warrior names for Bella: Blossomheart, Dawnlight
Position in Clan: Warrior apprentice (but would get her Warrior name at the end of the musical!)
Phoenix:
For a lot of the same reasons as Steve, I think Phoenix would be a RiverClan medicine cat. For those unfamiliar with the series, medicine cats forgo a life of Warrior training in favor of medicine cat training, where they assume a healer role instead. Responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of their Clanmates, medicine cats have a completely different Code that allows them to cross boarders, defy Clan boundaries, and care for any cat in need. Also, medicine cats are the spiritual guide of their Clan, often imparting wisdom to their leader. Medicine cats also must stay celibate, a bit like priests. Though this last part doesn’t completely fit his character, I think with what we know about Phoenix caring for his sister, he would lean towards healing over fighting. And his personality definitely fits with RiverClan.
Some potential medicine cat names for Phoenix: Flameheart, Flameflight, Flamewing
Position in Clan: medicine cat apprentice
