White Winter Wolf
CHAPTER 10
Even though he had been given a room with a bed, Bucky still put a pillow on the floor of the room and a blanket. He still hadn't got used to actually..sleeping in a bed. When he woke in the morning, he stared at the ceiling. His head was a mess, he couldn't wrap his head around those feelings that were beginning to take hold for Irina. Even when he thought back to the times when she irritated the heck out of him, even to that time when she punched him in the face. Despite doing this, those feelings didn't change. He thought back to yesterday, to her wearing his top on the beach. The image was just that of beauty. How the water dripped down her skin, how her freckles lit up her face because the makeup had been all but washed away, to how her nipples poked through his shirt from the co-. No. No. A warmth spread over him, and he felt that familiar ache in the pit of his groin, and the hardness began to form. Was he really getting a hard on at the thought of his partner? No. He couldn't do that. Standing, he went to the ensuite, turning on the shower water as he stripped down and he stepped into the shower, turning the temperature to ice cold to try and rid himself of his problem downstairs.
As that hardness faded away, the ache remained from denying himself. He wasn't going to....pleasure himself to the thought of his partner. Stepping out of the shower, drying himself off before he dressed. Walking downstairs, Irina was already there. He looked her over. She was wearing a red tight-fitting sundress. Bucky guessed he would be losing another top today "Morning." Bucky said as he walked into the kitchen, and Irina smiled at him.
"Good morning, James." Irina said, rather...enthustiastically.
"You seem really happy today." Bucky commented as he moved past her, taking the coffee pot as he made himself a cup of coffee. Bucky liked his coffee with his milk steamed, and two sugars. He always liked it like that.
"The sun is shining....its a beautiful day...." Irina said in a rather musical voice. Bucky sat down on the kitchen stool at the counter, taking a sip of his coffee before setting the mug down. When he did, Irina came over by his side, making him look at her... with suspicion "I need you to come on an adventure with me today."
"An adventure?" Bucky asked, and she nodded her head. Running his tongue over his bottom lip, he didn't really like the sound of that...Suddenly Irina lifted his cup of coffee, taking a sip from it. "Thats mine."
"I know." Irina said, nodding her head, setting the coffee down. "It's nice."
"I know." Bucky replied flatly "It's my coffee..I made it." Irina rolled her eyes, setting the coffee back down as Sam came down the stairs.
"Morning." Sam greeted them, and Bucky nodded his head at him. "Another day full of activities."
"We have plans." Bucky suddenly said, causing Irina to look at him. Hell, he would do anything to get out of being stuck with Sam. "The adventure?"
"Mhm." Irina nodded her head with a smile
Sam rolled his eyes, but as the morning continued, the rest of the team started making their way down the stairs. Bucky sat quietly, watching as Nat and Irina talked quietly to each other, Tony and Peter all but bonded over Tony's new upgrades on his suits, Banner and Steve talked well...about everything and Sam made breakfast. Clint finally came down, stretching before collapsing on the couch. It seemed he was using this vacation to rest from all the kids he had. Bucky did take notice of how, when Nat and Irina talked, Natasha's gaze went to Bucky every so often, before she looked back at Irina. Were they talking about him? Surely not? He watched as a smile threatened to pull on Irina's lips as she spoke, and how Natasha all but rolled her eyes before smiling.
Irina suddenly went and got a backpack, putting some items into it before turning to Bucky "Eat your breakfast, drink your coffee." Irina suddenly demanded, and Bucky raised his brow "Adventure?"
"Oh. Yeah. Great." Bucky nodded his head as Sam set the plate of food infront of him, before Irina ran up the stairs quickly. What the hell was she up to?
"What adventure?" Stark suddenly asked, looking at Bucky
"No idea." Bucky admitted, shaking his head.
"I want to go." Peter said, frowning.
"Sorry, kid, but, this was not my idea." Bucky said, picking up a piece of bacon before chewing on it.
"Make sure to bring your phone, Buck. Incase you get lost." Steve said, and Bucky looked at him "Irina isn't the best at directions."
"No she is not." Clint called to them "She got us lost numerous times, which always resulted in chaos."
"Yeah, her left and right are often mixed up." Natasha admitted.
"Good to know." Bucky said, finishing his breakfast as he downed the last drop of coffee before standing up. Suddenly Irina came charging down the stairs again, and he looked towards her. "Ready?" Bucky asked, and she nodded. Bucky lifted the backpack, putting it on as they walked out the sliding doors. The sun hit him instantly as they began walking across the beach. Wait, how did he know they were going the right way? Where exactly were they going? "Can you at least tell me what this adventure is?"
"I want to see where it leads up." Irina said to him with a smile "The whole stretch of the beach."  Nodding, they continued walking along. For most of the walk it was a comfortable silence as Irina looked around, but suddenly she hit him with those questions again. Most of them centred around his time in Wakanda. About his time there, what he did there. He told her, he did farming, entertained the children and, of course, he was cured of the brainwashing.
Why did she take an interest in it? Maybe it was just the fact that she wanted to know her partner better. Yeah, he decided it was that. As they turned round the walkway, out of view from the house, it looked beautiful. The view was just..amazing. There was no other soul in sight, just the two of them, walking across the shoreline. As they came to a rocky patch, she stepped over it, walking further out and bending down to examine the little creature in it. "A little starfish." Irina whispered as she looked at it, and Bucky...thought it looked like a fucking alien. Nature was weirdly beautiful. As she walked back from the rocks, he took her hand, helping her down from them, and they continued on the path. He was in thought, thinking of how this reminded him of the peace he had found in Wakanda, before the skies opened up and the blip happened.
"Do you get sunburn?" Irina suddenly asked, looking at him.
"Uh....I...don't...think so?" Bucky said slowly, raising his brow
"How do you know?" She asked again
"I don't." He admitted, looking at her
"But with the serum do you have like, advanced healing don't you? So, like...you probably don't." Irina nodded at her own words "I do. I get lots of freckles."
"I know." Bucky said, causing Irina to look at him with a raised brow "I can see them."
"Of course you would know, you have a very. bad staring problem, James." Irina teased, causing a smile to pull on Bucky's lips as he nodded "Did I tell you that Torres text me?" This made a feel of uneasiness spread throughout him
"No." He replied flatly, looking away.
"Well, he did." Irina admitted, clearing her throat "Asking me for another date."
"'What did you say?" Bucky asked, looking at her with a sigh.
"Well. What Torres didn't know was that, I know, he was seeing another girl whilst he was seeing me." Irina said, looking at him with a smile. "Nat found out. She finds out everything."
Of course she did. Natasha Romanoff was a master spy. He didn't think Torres capable of being...dishonest, he was a nice kid, but if Natasha said he was doing it, then he would believe her. What Bucky did know was that Irina didn't deserve such disrespect and dishonesty, even if she didn't want to be with Torres and didn't show him the same manner of....interest that Torres showed her, she didn't deserve it. Torres should have just left the relationship and moved on.
"What's in the bag?" Bucky suddenly asked, causing Irina to turn and smile at him. "What?"
"A bucket and a spade," Irina whispered, laughing. "we are going to build very good sandcastles."
So, they settled down on  the shoreline, as Bucky took off the backpack, and Irina opened it, taking out the small kids, bucket and spade. He almost laughed when he saw it, because it looked ridiculous. So, they got to work building little sand castles. As ridiculous as it was, Bucky actually enjoyed it. It was simple, but he liked the simple things. Bucky actually got really into it, building what looked like a little palace. Irina looked up, narrowing her eyes at the fact that he had taken to the project. Standing, she walked over and looked at work.
"Would be a shame if someone knocked it down, James." Irina said, still staring at it.
"I will kick your ass if you do." Bucky whispered, concentrating on one of the pillars and she raised her brow at him as he looked up at her, "Irina, don't dare."
Clearing her throat, she looked full of mischief. "I would never." She whispered. Bucky turned, looking at her own before laughing "Hey! Its not that bad."
"It looks like a kid did it." Bucky commented and she gasped, shaking her head. "You're just jealous."
"No I am not." Irina defended, shaking her head. Well, Bucky thought she was. Instead, she got down and helped him with his. Did he enjoy spending time with her? Yeah he did. Once they were done, Irina decided that they should go a different way back, but Bucky was obviously cautious given that he was pre-warned about the fact that Irina was no good with directions. So they walked up the beach, going over the grass, and continued walking. But Irina looked confused, and Bucky was becoming frustrated because it all looked the same, and he should never had let her take them in a different way. Each time he asked her if she knew the directions, she hummed, nodding.
And it led to them bickering. Of course, "God, Irina, you have got us lost. Fucking stupid." Bucky hissed, and as soon as the words were out, he regretted it because Irina turned and looked at him. The last time he called her stupid she got upset, more than upset she was hurt. But instead of her looking hurt, she punched him clean square in the face before turning and walking off. What had been a peaceful, beautiful morning turned into a mess. He walked after her, calling her names a few times, but she didn't answer him. Finally when he did catch up to her, he grabbed her arm, but she tugged it away, shaking her head. So he instead, moved to stand in front of her, putting his hands on her shoulders to stop her from walking, but she pushed at his chest.
"Fuck off, Barnes." Irina whispered, shaking her head.
"Stop it. Im sorry." Bucky said, but she shook her head, looking up at him. Her eyes, hurt flashed in them, anger - god there was fire in her eyes and it burned bright "Come one, Irina. Im sorry."
"I am not fucking stupid." Irina gritted out, punching his chest and he nodded. "Stop calling me it. I thought you learned from the last time you called me it? Obviously not." Irina shook her head, trying to push past him but he grabbed her arms, stopping her "Barnes, I am warning you."
"Irina, calm down." Bucky hissed, and she furrowed her brows at him. Did she look as if she was going to punch him again? Yes. He was often surprised by how quickly she changed. One minute she was a bright ray of sunshine, the next she was this murderous little vixen "I said I am sorry."
"Well guess what, Barnes? Sometimes, sorry isn't good enough." Irina spat out, before Bucky dropped his hands, nodding his head. Of course it wasn't. words hurt. Irina moved around him, walking away, and he followed behind her. The walk was longer than he thought it was, or maybe it was because she was pissed off? Once the house was in sight, she quickened her pace until she reached the wooden decking, marching up it and sliding the door open and quickly going inside. Bucky soon followed, and was met with the confused looks of the team as Irina ran upstairs.
"What did you do?" Nat asked, sliding round in the chair to look at Bucky.
"Nothing." Bucky lied
"He keeps calling me stupid!" Irina called from upstairs and Natasha furrowed her brows at Bucky. Did Natasha look pissed at him? Yeah, she did. Suddenly a door slammed, and he guessed it was Irina going into her bedroom.
"Maybe keep the name calling to a minimum, Barnes." Natasha said, nodding her head before sliding off the stool as she went upstairs after Irina.
Steve was staring at him, frowning. Okay, was everybody pissed at him? Maybe. Taking the backpack off, he set it aside before going upstairs into his room. Once he was inside, he actually lay on the bed. He did feel guilt, and the tender spot on his face from where Irina punched him reminded him off what he said. He lay staring at the feeling, just listening to the going to and from of people outside the room. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and he looked over as Steve's head popped in.
"Hey, Buck." Steve said, coming in as he closed the door. He slowly made his way over to the bed and sitting on it. "You alright?"
"Never been better." Bucky replied, sarcastically.
"You could at least try and talk to her?" Steve said, looking at him and Bucky shook his head.
"I did." He replied flatly, looking at Steve. "She punched me in the face."
Steve nodded his head slowly, looking down as a smile pulled on his lips. "Its not funny steve." Bucky hissed and Steve looked at him. He tried to keep a straight face but even Bucky could see the humour poking through.
"Could have been worse, she could have kicked your ass completely." Steve said, shrugging.
"Yeah, she could have." Bucky said, shaking his head as he looked up at the ceiling.
"Why don't you just tell her how you feel?" Steve asked.
"Of course, Steve. I will go to her now. I will say, I am sorry for calling you stupid earlier. What I really meant is that I like you, and all I can think of is you, even though you irritate the life out of me." Bucky spat out sarcastically, before shaking his head "No, Steve."
"Damn, is it that bad?" Steve whispered, sucking in breath as Bucky nodded "Well. If you don't tell her, it looks like you're setting yourself up to suffer, Buck."
"Its not as if I am not used to that, Steve." Bucky said, rolling his eyes.
"Well, there is no need to this time, bud." Steve nodded at his own words, before standing and he went to the door before turning round and looking at him "Try apologisng again." Steve offered, before turning and walking out the door. Bucky sighed, looking at the ceiling. He would try apologising again, but what were the odds of Irina punching him in the face again? Very high. He supposed it would be good to at least let Nat calm her down first, just incase she launched from the window of the house. So, he lay there, thinking of the ways he could apologise. He could just go straight into her room, not let her talk and tell her he didn't mean it. He could wait, let the storm brew over. Wouldn't that make it worse? Maybe.
Finally, he stood up, sighing. Walking out of his bedroom, he went to the door of Irina and Nats' room, knocking on it. When the door opened, he was met with a very pissed off looking Nat. She looked over at Irina, before stepping aside, opening the door. Walking in, the room was much larger than his, with two double beds just a few inches from each other. Irina was lying on one, looking at the doorway and her features hardened when her gaze settled on him. "Look I-"
"Nat, you can go." Irina said, and Natasha gave Bucky a look that basically said ' i will kill you', before nodding at Irina and leaving the room, closing the door. "What do you want, James?"
"To apologise," Bucky said as he walked further into the room, "I don't think you're stupid."
"Oh? That's hard to believe, given you're so keen on calling me that." Irina said, as she lay back, looking at the ceiling. "I could call you many things; arrogant, stubborn, mean. But I don't." She thought that of him? He supposed he...often enough gave that impression "But I won't, because you are my friend, and I don't want to hurt your feelings."
Sighing, Bucky walked over to the bed and she rolled her head, watching him. Suddenly she moved over, patting the space next to her. Wait, what? He slowly sat down on the bed, lying back against he pillow and she moved, placing her head on his chest. Did friends..do this? He saw many times how she was with Tony, she would cuddle him, hug him..But Tony even said himself, he thought of her as a daughter. Steve, she sat on his lap that night when they returned to the compound shit faced, but he knew Steve well enough to know that Steve would think of her as a sister. Exhaling, he wrapped his arm around her "I can't promise I won't do it again, because I often say things that I later regret, and I have no filter. But, I don't mean it, not really." Bucky said softly, and Irina nodded "Are we okay?"
"Yep." Irina said, humming softly "But I will punch you in the face each time you call me it, James."
"I have no objections to that." Bucky said, he heard Irina's soft laugh, and it made the corner of his lip tug, a smile pulling on his features. There was a few moments of silence and then he heard...Did she fall asleep on him? Looking down at her, her breathing was slowed, and she was almost curled into his side. Yeah, she had fallen asleep on him. She looked so peaceful. Then it hit him that he was her prisoner. He couldn't move incase he woke her. So, he accepted his fate and lay there. Looking down at her again, his hand lifted up as he stroked a stray strand of her chesnut hair from her face, tucking it behind her ear. Her skin felt so soft underneath his calloused fingertips, when he did it she hummed, rubbing her cheek against his chest as she moved closer to him. Friends didn't do this, did they? Heck, he didn't know what people done these days. It was all so different.
He lay there for at least an hour or two watching her. Watching how her features contorted, then relaxed. Was she having a bad dream? It looked like it. As soon as her features had relaxed, relief filled him to know she was finally at peace. He counted each freckle, to his eye there were 45 spanning across the bridge of her nose settling on her cheeks. There could have been more, but he counted 45. Suddenly he felt he shifting, before she rolled on her back, stretching. When she did, he dress rid up her thigh, and he adverted his gaze because he did not need anymore of those thoughts, no. Suddenly she sat up, looking down at him with furrowed brows, he thought it was adorable how her eyes were still clouded with tiredness.
"How long have I been asleep?" Irina asked, her voice was still thick with sleep.
"An hour..maybe? Not long." Bucky said, tilting his head at her and watching her. Suddenly she collapsed back down on him, groaning.
"I have been up since early this morning," Irina admitted, sighing "Sometimes when I stay somewhere new it takes me a night or two before I can settle."
"You are a homebird?" Bucky asked, and Irina looked up at him, nodding. He knew that feeling, he often found strange places harder to become custom too. The door opened, and Nat came in, closing it behind her, and she went over to the bed, lying on the bottom of it.
"Just came to make sure Irina here wasn't kicking your ass." Natasha commented.
"Not yet." Irina said, wait, yet?
"I thought....You punched me in the face already." Bucky said and Irina sat up, looking down at him with a smile.
"I would have kicked you off a cliff." Natasha said, shrugging.
"I felt like it." Irina admitted, looking at Natasha "I can just go back and knock over the sand castle he spent ages making." Natasha furrowed her brows, looking at her.
"Don't even think about it." Bucky suddenly said, shaking his head.
"You went to make sandcastles?" Natasha asked, sitting up slowly, looking at them as both Irina and Bucky nodded "You guys are weird."
Yeah. They were weird. This was weird. That was one way to describe it.

Isaac and Leonardo reacting to MC who is an astronaut and engineer in the 21st century
So how this all would start out: isaac and leonardo would be in the library trying to fix whatever complicated looking engine isaac had bought from a second hand shop.
Underestimating the complexity of the device, their brains were starting to fry itself. That's when MC came in.
"Good afternoon. You both seem in distress." MC said
Leonardo and isaac looked at her direction
"You could say so, this item is rather nasty to fix cara mia" leonardo said, tapping his finger on the table, trying to figure out his next step
"Indeed" isaac said letting out a huge sigh
She approached them, and her eyes immideately recognize what device they were tinkering
"Ah, i have seen simmilar machines from my time period- improved ones of course." Mc said
"Im positive that i can fix this for you both." MC said as she sat down next to them
Leonardo and isaac wasn't expecting this from her.
Trusting her, isaac and leonardo gave the tools to her
She examined the contents of the machine, both the interior and the exterior. She started dismantling the interior as it seems like things were inserted and screwed in in the wrong order and places.
Both isaac and leonardo looked at her, full of amazement, observing every move she took.
Taking a new piece of gear and chains from the toolbox, she fitted it into the machine.
She flicked the small lever on the side, immideately the gear started spinning slowly, picking up pace. eventually the machine rumbled, once again full of life.
Their eyes widen
"Impressive, cara mia!" Leonardo said as he ruffled her hair
"How..did you just do that so easily?" Isaac asked in disbelieve
"Im familiar with such. im an astronaut, and engineering is one of the things i had to master." She explained
"Pardon? An astro? Astrona..ut?" Isaac asked, unfammiliar with that word
He glanced over to leonardo who shrugged
"Oh, i forgot such term didn't exist in both of your time periods!" MC exclaimed in realization
"An astronaut is someone who travel in space. i specifically work in the space station- to make it sound simple, its like this special building that stays in the earth's low orbit." She explained
They both froze and tried to process what she had just explained
Issac and leonardo looked at each other
"Did.. i hear that right? Up in space you say?" Isaac asked making sure he wasn't going bonkers
Both geniuses were at disbelief
"Yes! We travel to space using this vehicle called a rocket! I could explain more in depth- but before that, i have some photographs i could show you both. Are you guys intere-"
"Yes!" They both exclaimed, eyes sparkling up
Mc looked at them and giggled
"Alright, give me a minute. I will go fetch them." MC said as she exited the room.
MC came back with a book, her diary specifically. It was jammed with many photograph, some even stuck out of the book.
"Alright- additional information for you both, photographs from my time period are also advanced. By that, i mean that the pictures are coloured and crystal clear" MC said
"Cara mia, im beyond surprised. You might as well end up giving me a heart attack with anything you say" leonardo joked as he lit up a ciggarillo
"Dont worry leo, the only thing that will be giving you a heart attack is your ciggarilos" MC joked back causing leonardo to choke while isaac snorted slightly, surpressing a laugh.
"Alright! Back to the topic"
Mc revealed the pictures she had with her, starting from her in her space suit, the space station, earth from above, rockets, and an image her colegue took when she was outside the space station, working on it.
The pure enthusiasm isaac showed was immaculate
He sounds way out of character with how enthustiastic he was
He was practically smiling and grinning like a child in a candy store
Isaac was particularly interested with how the space station worked as well as how the space suit worked.
Leonardo on the other hand didn't have that lazy voice when he spoke
His voice was more lively than ever
His eyes were even wide and bright with life
Leonardo would be most interested with the rocket as in his younger days, he was obsessed with the possibility of humans flying up in the sky with some sort of aircraft. He even made sketches of how he envisioned them.
He would question the types of aircrafts that existed in her time period
"The 21st century... sure is something" leonardo said
"Agreed, agreed." Isaac said
Eversince that encounter, whenever three of them hung out, they would talk about space, physics, engineering, theories, maths, and even the possibility of alien life- basically some cool kid stuff going on 😎
MC would also tell them how humans have landed on the moon, once again melting their brains
Eventually the residents will grow curious about the three of them dissapearing for a long period of time on some days
To them it seems like MC, leo and isaac had formed some sort of cult considering how out of character leo and isaac sounded o.o
In the end, the three of them explained what was going on to whoever was curious about their little "cult"
Probably everyones brain froze trying to process the information they were told- well except comte and sebastian xD

Winter Woods
Byulyi shivered as the cold breeze hits her skin. She walked through the street, staring at the pile of snow that seemed to crunch beneath her feet as she hummed to the song softly playing on her headset. The streets were lighted by the yellow gleam of the post lights as bits of snow fell from the night sky. It was perfect. Her lips formed a small smile, comforted at the thought of finally coming back home after having spent long hours at work. It had been a very exhausting day for Byulyi, jumping from schedule to schedule for both solo and group projects.
When she has finally arrived in front of their humble home, she removed her head set, reaching for the doorbell. In no time, the door creaked open, revealing a soft-looking woman.
Her smile widens when she saw the woman behind the door, welcoming her with a warm hug. She buried her nose against the elder’s neck, making the said older woman flinch at the sudden cold touch. Byulyi tightened her hold on her girlfriend’s waist, inhaling her sweet calming scent as the she wraps her right arm around her shoulder firmly, her free hand gently combing through her hair.
“Welcome home, Byulyi.” Yongsun softly whispered, knowing about the girl’s sensitive state.
“I’m home.” Byulyi mumbled against the woman’s neck, exhaustion evident in her voice.
Yongsun’s presence had always been very soothing for her. It was something she had always looked for when she feels uneasy, usually hiding behind the protective figure.
She was snapped out of her daze when Yongsun tapped her shoulder, realizing they were both still at the doorstep.
Not long after, she found herself in the shower, staring blankly at the wall as she feels the warm water slide through her skin. She basked into the relaxing feeling, closing her eyes as she allows the water tend to her stiff muscles. Unconsciously, she let out a small whine, purring.
She was too immersed that she failed to notice Yongsun opening the door to the bathroom, only doing so when she felt someone’s gaze piercing through her skin. Her eyes shot wide open in slight panic only to meet Yongsun’s. The latter looked at her with same wide eyes, jaw dropped and seemingly stunned.
It had always been normal for the both of them to casually go into the bathroom to do their own things simultaneously. It was more convenient after all, one could shower while the other can do their night routine. It was normal.
Not until Yongsun saw a pair of pointed ears of some kind of animal on Byulyi’s head and a furry tail wagging, attached to her lower back. She was stunned.
“Oh, its just you.” Byulyi said, relieved and oblivious to what Yongsun was seeing.
She shrieked making Byulyi jump in place as the ears twitch in alarm, her tail stopped moving and instead turned stiff, physically demonstrating Byulyi’s surprise.
“What’s wrong with you?” Byulyi asked her, her pitch rising as she looked at the woman with wary eyes.
When yongsun shakily pointed towards her ears, her eyes widened in sudden realization, hands instinctively shooting up to hide them.
Crap.
-
Back in their bedroom, Byulyi was seated at the edge of their queen sized bed, fiddling with the hem of her oversized shirt as she watches Yongsun pacing back and forth. She bit her lower lip, seemingly even more nervous of what was to come when Yongsun’s hand suddenly shoots up to massage her temple.
Suddenly, Yongsun stopped in her tracks, staring at Byulyi’s figure as she watched her fluffy ears perk up in surprise.
She groans in frustration. Eerything here is too unbelievable--too impossible. But Byulyi, sitting in front of her, looking anywhere but her and looking like a kicked puppy, is the proof that this, indeed, is  reality.
It took her a few seconds to finally take everything in. She sighed, making Byulyi flinch for the nth time of the day.
Catiously, Yongsun made her way to Byulyi, taking the space left beside her. The girl visibly stiffened at the sudden contact of the bare skin of their thighs. Yongsun, deep in thoughts, absentmindedly eyes the furry unmoving tail rested on the sheets.
“Eek!???”
Byulyi squeaked in surprise when Yongsun grabbed her tail, staring at her with wide eyes as she moves her tail away from the older woman’s hold.
Yongsun blinks once, twice, thrice, before finally taking in what just happened. Her eyes widened the way Byulyi’s did, staring at her in apology.
“I’m sorry” She smiled sheepishly, finally, a laughter escaping her lips as the tension seemed to finally escape through the room’s opened windows, joining the cold wind as they travelled from place to place under the night sky.
The sound of her contagious laughter left Byulyi momentarily shocked, eventually leading her to join her in a laughing fit.
It was overwhelming--suffocating even. Not once in the entirety of their 8 years of friendship slash relationship have they ever had that much tension between them other than their previous childish arguments that always end up with spontaneous movie nights topped with cuddles and take out food. The exit of the awkwardness relieved not only Byulyi but also Yongsun.
When their giggles have finally come to a stop, Yongsun pulled Byulyi into a tight hug, kissing her forehead as if to tell her that it’s alright and nothing will change between them which made Byulyi heave a sigh of relief and relax fully into her arms.
There was a moment of comfortable silence before Yongsun finally spoke.
"Do you go in heat?"
“Yah!” Byulyi broke the hug, punching Yongsun’s shoulder who was clutching her stomach as she let out a loud snort which lead to another, according to Byulyi, excessive fit of laughter.
“Calm down! I was just kidding!”
"Can i touch them?" Yongsun asked, eyeing her fluffy ears. She nodded, giving her the permission to touch her ears but the moment her hands made contact with her ears, Byulyi backed away, her ears twitching in response to her touch.
“What? Why?” Yongsun pouted, confused at the sudden action.
Byulyi looked away, cheeks crimson red. “Uh, just because. It’s ticklish.”
"Then…” Yongsun brought her finger to her lips, enthustiastically thinking about what to make Byulyi do next.  “Can you turn fully into a werewolf?"
Byulyi replied with an affirmative nod, eyeing her anxiously when Yongsun jumped in excitement, obviously waiting for Byulyi to turn into her natural form.
"Uh.. The thing is-"
That was when she found herself in the woods near their backyard, fully turned into a large yet adorable werewolf as yongsun caresses her bowed down head. She cooed at her whines of pleasure, giggling as she continued rubbing the werewolf  half as tall as her.
Yongsun stopped her ministrations which earned her a growl of protest. "How are you so full of aegyo?” She asked in amusement, still, standing up from her positon and dusting off the dirt on her knees.
"Enlighten me.” Yongsun challenged. “What makes a werewolf so unique? What can you do as a werewolf that you can’t when you’re a human?"
Byulyi looked at her straight in the eyes, looking like she’s getting ready to dash out. Yongsun could almost imagine her having a smug smile as if she was a human.
Suddenly, she ran through the forest, sending a strong wind towards Yongsuns form. Within 10 seconds, she was back in place, standing in front of yongsun with her snout stretched into a wide grin.
Yongsun looked at her in shock but eventually smirked when she saw her expression. A huge "compliment me" in bold was written across her furry face. Byulyi’s  tongue was stuck out from her mouth, panting heavily. Byulyi, tilted her head expectantly making Yongsun break into giggles.
"Good job, baby" she mused, petting Byulyi’s head affectionately who was purring at the soothing touch. Suddenly, Byulyi rolled onto her back, letting Yongsun rub her belly which made her growl in approval when she did.
Yongsun laughed. "Are you really Byulyi?" she asked, jokingly, to which the wolf replied to with a howl. She can’t help it. It was funny she looked more like a large dog than an actual werewolf.
"You must be tired, you should turn back."
Suddenly, the werewolf stood on its four feet, seemingly wary and disturbed with her ears perked up in alertness.
"Why, why?" Yongsun asked, confused. Suddenly, byulyi nuzzled into her neck, shaking her head as she whimpers.
"Why? Aren't you tired?" Byulyi didnt reply but when yongsun rubbed her back, she let out A what seemed like a sigh. Yongsun felt her shrink back into human size in her hands, shivering as the cold air touched her... Bare skin? Wait, she's naked?
Her ears suddenly turning bright red, she immediately pulled down the zipper of her own jacket, wrapping its flaps around Byulyi and effectively trapping them both inside, her gaze all the while remaining on the dark woods careful as to not to look at Byulyi’s naked figure. She pulled Byulyi inside their home in hurry, quickly rummaging through their closet for some change of clothes.
She covered her eyes with her palm, looking through the gaps to see only byulyi's face who now had a blanket wrapped around her as she bit her lower lip.
Yongsun immediately passed the large shirt similar to what she was previously on, which, in turn, she wore in hurry.
"You didn't tell me." Yongsun said in an accusing tone, claiming her innocence regarding the matter.
“Tell you what?”
“That.” Yongsun pointed out, gesturing to her body, her hands flailing around like a madwoman.
Byulyi blushes. "You didnt let me!” She screeched, the sound of her voice echoing throughout the woods.

I think most eqine people know that Icelandic horse people are pretty much a whole new breed of people and can be quite special so I'm curious if you have ever encountered people who get mad/defensive/annoyed/etc at the fact that Rudi isn't purebred Icelandic?
Yee, i get that sometimes. Icelandic enthustiasts arent the worst though, fjord horse enthusiasts are much worse tbh. The truly are a breed for themselves. I can barely post a picture in a norwegian fb group without someone just having to throw a fit at how she shouldnt excist. I can’t even really tell other norwegian horse people about her whithout them commenting on it.  Sure, wildly crossbreeding isnt always great, but it’s not like it’s mine or her fault that she’s here, i just want to enjoy my horse like everyone else.

School start
Undertale AO3
The building in front of them was intimidating, at least to the younger of the skeleton brothers. Sans had already attended to it for a couple years by now and was used to it. Papyrus, on the other hand, gripped his brother’s hand tightly. The Dreemurr Royal Academy was the kingdom’s fanciest school, where all the children of the king’s courtiers attended. Sans had gotten in on pure talent, though, as a scholarship student when he was ten. As one of the school’s most promising students it hadn’t been hard to enrol his younger brother. Papyrus was incredibly smart and talented as well, after all, albeit in a different way.
Sans fondly gazed down at the younger, who desperately tried to hide his fear. He had gotten better at it, when they were younger Papyrus had been an open book.
“c’mon, bro,” he said, smiling encouragingly. “everyone’ll love ya. you’re the great papyrus after all.”
Papyrus swallowed, and nodded. His grip on Sans’ phalanges got slightly lighter. Just a bit, but enough. He breathed deeply.
“YOU’RE RIGHT!” He eventually exclaimed, straightening. It was obvious he was still scared, but an improvement. “THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL MAKE LOTS OF FRIENDS.”
“’course he will,” the older skeleton agreed, kneeling to look him in the eyes. “but i hope the great papyrus knows that even if he wouldn’t, he’d still be the coolest monster in the world, and that his brother loves him very very much.”
Papyrus looked at him for a couple moments, before nodding again. He looked determined.
“I LOVE YOU TOO.”
“shall we go then? or do ya wanna go by yourself?”
Papyrus didn’t say anything to that, just gripped a little harder. Sans smiled, and followed the other toward the first years’ classroom. He waved to a couple of his friends on the other side of the schoolyard – he had a lot, people liked his funnybone and easygoing nature – and studied the other first years. They got a couple odd looks from parents, seeing how he obviously wasn’t Papyrus’ father since he was both too young and wearing school uniform. The other kids looked like the stereotypical Academy students. Well-fed, well-groomed, new uniforms in difference to his and Papyrus’ second-hand. They looked almost new, though, since Sans had gotten quite good at sewing clothes. They couldn’t afford buying new all the time, after all, when they grew so quickly.
The teacher, a seahorse monster, smiled as they approached.
“Hello, Sans,” he greeted. Sans had had him as extra teacher to catch up when he started. He turned to his little brother. “And this must be Papyrus? Your brother has told me so much about you.”
Papyrus began to grin, parts of his self-confidence glowing through his fears.
“HI!”
“I’m Marco, and I’ll be your teacher this year. I’m really looking forward to get to know you.”
Sans smiled. It was lucky this was the teacher his lil’ bro would get. Otherwise he would’ve been quite worried. He still was, of course, always would be because Papyrus was his baby brother, but less.
“i’ll leave ya in Marco’s capable hands, then, paps,” he said, kneeling for a hug. As soon as he spread his arms Papyrus fell into them, like he didn’t want to let go. “love ya lots.”
“I LOVE YOU TOO.” Papyrus’ voice was muffled by the collar of Sans’ shirt. Suddenly a bell rang.
“crap,” Sans swore, gently making Papyrus’ let him go. “i have to go, or i’ll be late. i’ll get ya after school, bro.”
Papyrus waved as he left, running toward his own building.
Sans waved goodbye to his classmates. They were all going to a start-of-term-party, and he was invited as well of course. Even though he never went to social gatherings with his friends they always invited him. He simply didn’t have time, between school, work and Papyrus. Nevertheless, he appreciated it. Perhaps once they all got older and he could leave Papyrus alone at home for a couple hours. But probably not, his brother was more important. Possibly if Papyrus spent the night at a friend’s place.
The first-years were playing outside, waiting for their parents to pick them up. Not Papyrus, however. Where was he, then? Sans hurried inside the school, a bit concerned. As his brother’s voice reached him, he calmed down. He couldn’t hear what he was saying yet, but he seemed cheerful enough.
He walked into his brother’s classroom, to see him sitting together with Marco, chatting excitedly. They were speaking about what Papyrus wanted to be when he grew up. At the moment, his brother wanted to be an actor or a puzzle engineer. Honestly, both would fit him perfectly. With his exuberant personality, he’d do great in the public eye, and he was so smart and talented at making puzzles.
“hiya,” he called, announcing his presence. Papyrus immediately stood up, running into his arms. He was grinning. “didya have a good day, pap?”
“YEAH,” Papyrus replied. “MARCO SAID I’M REALLY SMART.”
Sans petted his head.
“you absolutely are,” he agreed. “but why’re ya in here instead of with the other kids?”
Papyrus’ face fell for a moment before his grin came back in full force. That was worrisome. He glanced toward the seahorse, who gave him a half smile. It was slightly apologetic.
“THEY SAID I’M TOO LOUD, SO THEY DIDN’T WANT TO PLAY WITH ME,” he said. Sans blinked. What? How dared they? “BUT DON’T WORRY!” Papyrus quickly followed up. “I’M SURE THEY’LL GET USED SOON, AND THEN I WILL HAVE LOTS OF FRIENDS.”
Sans took a deep breath. Now was not the moment to get mad. Plus, what could he do anyway? Not much, unless he wanted to threaten the kids into being friends with his bro, which Papyrus definitely wouldn’t approve of.
“i’m sure,” he said instead, despite not feeling like it. “now, why don’t we go home? i’m sure we’ll get something extra tasty for dinner to celebrate your first day.”
Papyrus nodded enthustiastically. They’d been saving money for a while to be able to get something fancier for tonight. He couldn’t wait. The school food was free, and really good, so he wasn’t hungry, but the food he and Sans made was better just because they’d made it.
“BYE!” he called to Marco, who waved back. Sans said goodbye as well, and they left the ground. Papyrus was speaking excitedly about school all the way home.
Papyrus stared at his brother. He could feel himself smiling wider than he thought he had ever done, and Sans looked so happy too. He was so proud of his brother. To see Sans standing here now, dressed in graduation robes and his diploma in his hands, it was a great feeling. They hadn’t had the easiest childhood. Growing up on the streets while having to hide that you lived on the streets wasn’t a walk on roses. But they hadn’t wanted to go to an orphanage, because then they would’ve been parted since Sans was five years older than him.
Papyrus had gotten the easy part. Being the younger sibling of someone like Sans meant he had hardly worked at all except small things like baby-sitting and cleaning after school. Sans on the other hand had worked at least three part-time jobs while still attending school and raising Papyrus. So to see him standing there, in robes he had sewn himself since they couldn’t afford to buy new and for this one thing neither had wanted Sans dressed in second-hand, grinning from ear to ear…
Papyrus hadn’t ever been happier. It felt like it was he himself who was standing there, newly graduated with doctorates in quantum physics and law. As one of the youngest ever to do so. Sans was brilliant.
His brother had worked so hard for this. Studying in between working, sleeping and spending time with him.
Once the ceremony was over Papyrus hurried over to where Sans was standing together with his friends.
“BROTHER!” he yelled, making several people cover their ears. “I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!”
Sans laughed as his fourteen-year-old brother threw himself at him, hugging him hard.
“thanks, bro,” he answered, hugging back. When they eventually let go Sans gestured between Papyrus and his friends. Papyrus grinned at them. “ya’ll remember papyrus?”
“’Course we do, Sansy,” a cat monster Papyrus remembered was named Jamie said. “Who could forget him?”
He beamed, and Sans did as well.
They stayed there for a while before Sans told them they’d have to go home. He took Papyrus’ hand and they left the crowd. Papyrus kept smiling the whole time they walked home.
Their home was a one-room apartment in the ‘slums’ of New Home. They had been able to afford it when Papyrus was ten.
“I’VE GOT A SURPRISE FOR YOU,” he told his older brother as they reached their building. Sans looked curious as he checked no one was inside. They lived on the fifth level, and none of them was too fond of walking all these stairs. Especially since Sans’ robes reached the floor. They shortcutted up to the apartment.
Papyrus smiled as they appeared at home. In front of them a cake stood on their small kitchen-table, complete with frosting reading “CONGRATULATIONS SANS”. Sans stared at it. It was quite a fancy cake.
“I BOUGHT IT MYSELF! I’VE BEEN SAVING MY POCKET MONEY FOR THIS FOR MONTHS!” He would’ve made a cake himself but he didn’t known how to make it without Sans noticing.
“thanks, pap,” was all Sans said, staring at the cake, but Papyrus beamed. Sans was speechless. Which was understandable. His awesome brother had bought a cake from one of the city’s nicest bakeries after all. It had been a pain to get enough money, but it had been worth it to see Sans’ face.
They feasted on the cake all evening, and it was big enough to give a lot of leftovers. It was a good gift.
If you're wondering about why they're calling the teacher by his first name that's because I'm going with what I know, and that's how we do in Sweden. I've literally never called someone by title (including mr/mrs/miss) in my life, including when I've been in other countries (my old school had a project where my class went to Germany in 8th grade and Holland in 9th. In both countries my class used the foreign teachers' first names, and it was really fun how weirded out the other students were by that). So I'm going to take inspiration from Swedish school when writing school Underground.
