The games prepromote Sage, Ewan’s mentor, Myrrh’s protector and a potential love interest for Eirika.

Authority: Rally Magic (D), Battalion Renewal (C), Rally Skill (C+), Model Leader (A), Rally Luck (S)
Like Ewan, Saleh’s not too hard to figure. He’s magic focused so Faith and Reason are obvious. For his spell list I was half looking for spells in both games and half trying to reflect his wind affinity. Bolganone’s in there since he comes with an Elfire tome so mid level fire magic seemed fitting. For Faith spells I gave him two heals, with physic second since it’s a B tank staff in SS, and Aura on top for his ability to use light magic. I gave him authority since he’s the leader of his community and teaches Ewan magic, with his rallies being tied into his role as magic instructor. I would do a riding weakness since he promoted to sage over mage knight (similar reasoning to what I’d done with Innes) but he’s inexplicably a mounted axe user in Heroes and while I’m not giving him talents there I figure they should at least be neutral. I did a lance weakness instead to lean him away from the knight classes. He wouldn’t have gremory access obviously and unfortunately and suffers from lacking a male or gender neutral equivalent (like Iunno sage? crazy I know) but bishop and warlock aren’t bad.

Airstrikes and missiles struck dwellings and public buildings on Tuesday including Al-Amal hospital in Khan Younis killing five, among them a five-day-old baby, reports indicate.
“No child in the world should be killed, let alone one sheltering under the emblem of a humanitarian organisation; this has to end,” said Gemma Connell, a team leader from UN aid coordination office OCHA, in a video posted on X soon after the attacks.
According to Ms. Connell, the hospital was “clearly marked” with the logo of the Palestinian Red Crescent.
“Safe zones are death traps,” Al Jazeera correspondent Hani Mahmoud says, reporting from Rafah.
“Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been evacuating from the northern Gaza City, running from the horror of the war, only to get bombed in what is called a safe zone,” he added.
He spoke to Rafah resident Ahmed Abu Sinja, who said “My wife and the kids decided to sleep in their aunt’s room on the lower floor thinking it would be safe. When the bomb hit my brother’s flat, the roof collapsed on them, killing my wife, my daughter, my sister, my brother and two children.”

Headcanons:
Ewan is 1 and a half years post canon, placing him at 14! He’s still studying to become a mage and, despite his young age, has extremely powerful magic potential that lets him cast on the same level as the rest of his classmates.
He is gay gay homosexual gay. Never had a boyfriend though, always got (lovingly) teased by Tethys about it. He’s had small childish crushes on Gerik and Saleh though. These won’t affect his interactions with them, but it’s just a cute lil thing. :3
Untreated trauma that he suppresses with sunshine smiles. Is particularly afraid of spiders though he refuses to elaborate on why. Magvel is fucked up ok. Also has strong abandonment issues and can be a bit clingy to those he cares for.
