Would it be entirely out of possibility for Jay to have heard the sky "screaming"?

If Cole hears the earth screaming every time he uses his power, then maybe using lightning let Jay hear the sky everytime there was a mergequake. I feel like there's a bigger reason for why mergequakes generate lightning specifically, and if the mergequake really was splitting the sky then I think it's logical to conclude that Jay could feel it.

What if the only reason he stepped into the Administration was because it dampened the connection because he was indoors all day? But now he had the opposite problem: there was too much lightning outside, but too little inside. Until the Administration finally offered him a deal: help them with their weapons, power them, and he could use his lightning as much as he wanted to.

There was just one catch...

But anything was worth finally silencing the screams echoing through his head as the sky was torn in two.

fionna and cake having a really underwhelming ending (glob knows if we get a season 2) was NOT on my expectations list at all like genuinely i was ready to be emotionally devastated and screaming endlessly for the next week but.. hm,,..

I think Finn may take genuine interest in Gia after a while and then kinda... try to learn more about them. It's just hard to do that when the aura around him freaks people out fjdjdjdk

I'm what my girlfriend calls a bit of a "one ship bitch" (affectionate) when it comes to sonadow, so the sonally in Archie isn't really for me but yeah it's cute so far. I know they break up at some point, idk if they ever get back together outside of that stupid future arc. And I know that Sally later has a ship tease with Nicole, which I've seen a bit of and quite like; I'll talk about it more when it comes up on my complete read-through so my thoughts are more coherent. But for where I'm at in the early comics, sonally is cute in their lil mutual pining stage.

I'll say that with a few exceptions, I generally would rather romance be kept out of official Sonic media and instead left to fans to play around with if they so please. So the explicitly romantic plots in this are gonna feel weird when my comfort zone with this franchise is one basically canon ship that can't be labeled because of The Mandates (whispangle), occasional ship teases that'll never come to fruition because of The Mandates (knuxouge), and noncanon ships that I just have a lot of fun thinking about (sonadow). Like, that's a spot I think is comfortable for a franchise that has a lot going for it without romance really being a thing (except whispangle, they can stay).

Currently raging against the concept that the Doctor refers to past incarnations of themself by numbers or nicknames. It makes sense on screen to indicate clarity to the audience and also in conversations, but in the case of the Doctor's own thoughts...well, 12 said it best when he had just regenerated with Clara. He and 11 were the same person, they just have a different face.

i think he’d like something upbeat that feels good. so probably ABBA.

CHIP:

seems like he’d claim to like heavy metal to seem cool but probably listens to ABBA.

JAY:

wants some good tunes to keep her focused while she works on projects. i think ABBA would be good for that.

GRIFFIN:

after all that monster hunting, he probably wants something relaxing. like ABBA.

ALPHONSE:

with likely a whole database of music in him, he has a wide variety of options. so he’d probably go with ABBA.

QUEEN:

a bard themself, she probably likes the classics. those timeless songs you could hear over and over and never get tired of, like ABBA.

likely amazed by the music of the surface world, and has probably written a book on the different ways the undersea vs oversea view music, he’d probably listen to ABBA.

DREY:

drey is a very free spirit, carving his own path as a pirate, so his music taste would likely reflect that. that being said i think he’d listen to ABBA

That pregnancy anon I had a little while ago hacked into my account and deleted my blog. I got the url back but I can't get any of the posts back. Later today I'll start working on reposting everything that was up before but it's going to be a minute.

I'm so SO sorry for this. I know it's inconvenient and I know it's a pain and trust me I'm feeling it too. My followers are gone, my notes are gone, and my reach is gone and I'm fucking devastated. Poly! Adult Finn x Reader x Farmworld Finn Relationship Headcanons

• Although they’re technically the same person, Finn and FW Finn are very different, especially in personality, so making a relationship with the both of them work will be difficult.

• First hurdle to get over is what to call them, since they have the same name and all. Both of them think that they should be the main “Finn”, but you manage to find a compromise with FW Finn going by his full name “Finnian”.

• Both of them are obviously in love with you, but as for how they feel about each other, it’s more of mutual respect/brotherly kind of affection, like Finn had with Fern. They’re able to understand each other on a different level, practically able to read each other’s minds, which can be both endearing and creepy at times.

• Finnian does most of the cooking, as Finn doesn’t know how to make anything but meatloaf.

• Finn is a blanket hog so you have to get really close to him while you sleep, which isn’t too bad as he’s also a human heater. Luckily Finnian prefers to sleep without a blanket, as he’s used to cooler temperatures (we can all guess why)

• It takes Finnian a while to introduce you both to his kids, as he isn’t sure of how to approach the topic of having two partners, let alone one of them being an alternate version of himself. Eventually he introduces you as his girlfriend/boyfriend/partner and Finn as his long lost brother. Jay knows the true nature of your relationship, but he told him to keep it a secret from his younger siblings for now, until they’re a little older.

• Finn definitely cried when he first met FW Jake, who immediately waddled over to sit in his lap.

• You like to take baths together, as both of them have a habit of forgetting to take care of themselves for long periods of time (stinky boys). Both of them love it when you wash their hair.

• They both love the outdoors so expect Finn to take all of you adventuring together. Finnian is a lot less excited about combat, but he’s ready and willing to defend you if need be.

• They take turns kissing you one after the other, Finn usually initiating first with Finnian following up after him.

• Finn is much more able to be emotionally available and talk things through with you when you’re upset, and it’s not that Finnian doesn’t care about you, he does. He’s just still reeling with his own emotional issues and he doesn’t know what to say. He’s always there if you need someone to just hold you though.

• They bicker a lot over what they think is best for you, and you have to remind them that while you love them both dearly, you’re your own person who can make decisions for themself. They both sulk a bit but in the end they apologize and make up.

• Yeah you’re just one big chaotic family and it’s great that you have two men who are willing to go to hell and back for you <3

Chapter Four

The sound of crackling fire was the only thing you could hear. The warm orange glow bathing the room in a soft gentle lighting. A cozy warmth overtook me, as the company I held was warm as well. It was late at night, Finn and I sitting together in front of the furnace. A ritual that seemed to have formed during my stay. 

The longer I stayed here, the more I questioned the entire situation. The thought of staying grew every day. Each day, the less I thought of home, and I grew to doubt that Prismo even knew my whereabouts. It’s gotten to the point where I wouldn’t care if that was the truth. I felt at home, something I hadn’t felt in a long time.

I looked over to Finn from the corner of my eye. The orange glow hit his face so beautifully. His hat was nowhere to be seen, his blonde hair exposed. I knew that he was showing a more vulnerable side to him, as his hair was streaked with white highlights. I wasn’t told much, but with his aversion to the crown and the further evidence of white streaking his hair, I could only assume in this universe, he had worn the crown. Even Simon couldn’t escape his crown wearing self, as his hair also had a white streak in it. A constant reminder of the past. 

Finn met my gaze and I felt my blood pump faster. Neither of us backed down, and stared at the other with a sense of adoration. I didn’t even notice when our faces drew nearer, breaths mingling together. The crackling of the fire seemed to go louder, all my senses trying to focus on something to ground myself. I searched his eyes, no uncertainty to be found. 

I carefully placed my lips on top of his. They weren’t the softest, but it wasn’t unpleasant. Except for the fact that he was reciprocating. 

I pulled back, nearly falling to the floor due to the force. My heart beat faster, this time with fear instead of enamor. My entire body felt like it was on fire, my skin felt like it was crawling. Oh glob did I actually do that?

“I-i’m so sorry,” I said desperately, unable to meet his eyes. “I-I should’ve asked first and…glob I’m so sorry.” 

I stumbled back, nearly knocking into the kitchen table before running out the door, missing the fact that he reached his hand out to try and stop me from leaving. I ignored the chill of the outside air as I took to the sky, flying over the forest and away from the house. I wasn’t sure where I was going, only thinking about the weight I currently felt on my chest, and the tears that threatened to fall out of my eyes. When I felt far enough from the house, I descended into the forest, sitting under a tree. I rubbed my arms, trying to warm myself up.

I felt like a monster. How could I have done that? I thought I was better than that. Squeezing my eyes shut, I tugged at my hair, wanting to forget everything. A few tears fell before I stood up. I need to make a campfire, get my mind off of what happened until I can think more clearly. Gathering some big and small branches, I managed to get a decent sized fire going. I stared blankly into the flames, heart clenching at how just a few hours ago the situation was vastly different. Once the fire dwindled, I decided to lay down, wrapping my wings around myself like a blanket. Closing my eyes, I wished I could be anywhere but here. And like that, I fell into a dreamless sleep.

That was until my surroundings became a blinding white. And suddenly, I was in that familiar yellow cube, with a pink figure smiling sheepishly at me.

Simon. Simon is not initially introduced as Simon, rather is introduced as Ice King, an insane and Really out of it "villain". Throughout almost all of the first 3 seasons, you ONLY see him being weird and getting beat up a lot but under all of it is incredibly sad for reasons he can't distinguish aside from crushing loneliness. Until the Christmas special, they pull a COMPLETE 180 on ice kings character and reveal his backstory - and just to shine some light on this, up until this point in the show, Finn is the only CONFIRMED human in the show. All others are assumed to be extinct. Simon's/Ice King's backstory reveals a few things to the main characters and the audience that makes the characters see him in a new, sympathetic light - he was a human antiquarian with a fiancee (named betty) who just so happened to put a cursed crown on his head as a joke to amuse betty. And then boom! He's cursed. Unlike some other, admittedly limited amount of characters, however, after putting on the crown, he does not immediately go insane. It happens over the course of a few years (which in itself implies he has insane amounts of willpower, even still coming through with Ice King given that the crown tells its users to freeze the whole world with themself inside) .

So, he's cursed, and betty supposedly left him, as that's to what he's known. He assumed he scared her and she ran away and doesn't love him anymore, and spends years grieving over that. But in the few years after putting on the crown and before fully losing his mind, he has to take care of a girl after a goddamn war (where the climax is a detonated mutagenic bomb that makes radioactive zombies and shit) that he found crying in the middle of the street. So, if his mental state was already declining BEFORE, it sure as hell is now because he has to wear the cursed crown more and more to protect himself and this girl and the effects of it clearly show every time he puts it on in flashbacks with himself in Clear distress over the effects of it . So after a while he is scared for himself, and, to quote him, "I fear my thoughts are no longer my own". So then he begrudgingly leaves the girl he cared for over the course of several years before he goes fully mad and loses himself. So then aside from some mentioned stuff that happens before his insanity fully sets in (like being hypnotized which surely did not help his already deteriorating mind) and then for a thousand years he's just pretty much Gone.

In season 4 episode 25, "I remember you", he goes to marceline (the girl he cared for, though he doesn't remember that) and asks her to help him write a song to draw in the ladies. I won't go through the whole episode, but the song they end up making is not anything like that - he took over notes and pages from a scrapbook and Marceline found some he wrote before he fully went mad while desperately trying to get him to remember who he was, and they turned the notes into a song. There is a lot of crying from marceline, meanwhile Ice King has zero fucking clue what's going on there and just thinks they're having fun. The entire episode is up on YouTube, and I would recommend watching just to get the idea.

Near the end of season 5, he gets a brief moment of lucidity and return to his former self, and he makes a time portal to say sorry and goodbye to betty, and she jumps through only to discover that without the crown Simon is dying. He says later in the episode that he'd rather Die than go back to being Ice king. She wants to find a way to help him so she gets him turned back into ice king so she can find a way to cure him, with her going insane by gaining magic in the process (by proxy of mms, which is a whole thing itself).

Series finale rolls around, he's finally back, but in a chaos deitys "stomach", which reverted him and betty back to their sane, non magic selves. Their moment is short lived by the "stomach" closing in on them, about to crush them to death. They've seemingly accepted their fates, and embrace before their impending deaths, but they're given a way out, betty staying behind despite his pleas and using the original wish state of the crown to wish Simon safe and thereby fusing with the chaos deity and leaving. The next scene is Simon breaking down and crying where she previously was.

So, 12 years pass between the finale and the spin off, and he's just absolutely tired with everything. Hes a 20th century man frozen in time and thrown into into new world after living 1000 years insane and sad without the love of his life with him and he has to deal with that. He is constantly barraged with people talking about a story he wrote when he was insane, saying that it was great, wishing he'd write more, etc etc. Even saying he was cooler when he was insane. Still grieving betty, he tries to Actually Perform A Ritual That Could Destroy The World just to see her again. It goes wrong and the 2 main characters from the story he wrote while insane pop out of his head. After a bit, he finds out that they're not fiction and instead a universe planted in his head . Their magic was stripped from their world when he was reverted back to himself and since he's wallowing in so much misery he decides to find a way to go Back to being insane and commit the equivalent of suicide and perform ego death once again for people he just met because he felt his life was worth so little that serving any purpose even if detrimental to himself would give himself a meaning to live. Just as he's about to finish this, he finally gets to talk to now-chaos-deity betty, and she gets it in his head that his life is worth living and then sends him off to live his life after an emotional scene of them finally ready to let go of their losses..."
