We are in the 1970’s.
My job in the film industry is to create a believable, authentic-looking environment. I paint graffiti, write tags ,make street doodlings and everything else which is appearing on the streets in time and place. The following is a selection of one of my most recent and largest work from the last years, where I created thousands of graffiti and street writings for the prequel of the famous John Wick saga, The Continental. About the styles : It was a bit of mix of ages, the production designer wanted to see more variety of styles, not just the classic 70’s styles, so I tried mix the late 70’s with the early 80’s. Thank you so much for the awesome hungarian and US team for being a part of this super-cool movie! It's always harder to do something authentically “not good” than to do something nice and preciese.

hello tumblr I feel a need to improve my general media literacy. Please recommend famous books/movies/music/tv shows/short stories/video games/etc. that I should know so that I may consume them. (I am a young adult in the US if that helps) I feel like this is a very vague ask but idk how to narrow it down. I guess I’m particularly interested in sci-fi/cyberpunk novels? I read a lot of fantasy books as a kid but outside of that and school i feel like i haven’t read very many books. I was also raised by parents who didn’t really care to show me “important” movies, so I’ve never seen Citizen Kane, and i saw 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time only a few months ago. I generally just want to gain a better knowledge of film and writing. I have played a lot of video games, especially from indie devs, and I’m starting to play more AAA titles (basically i think i have a pretty good understanding of the themes and ideas typically presented and expounded on in video games, and i would like to gain a similar understanding of film and writing)

Tumblr media
Kristen Stewart's rise to fame began when she was cast in the lead role of Jodie Foster’s daughter in 2002's Panic Room. She also won numerous awards for her performance as Bella, including five Teen Choice Awards, four MTV Movie Awards, and two People's Choice Awards.
Stewart continued to take on challenging roles that pushed the boundaries of her acting career; she starred in Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and Camp X-Ray (2014). This performance earned her nominations at several award shows such as Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Motion Picture Drama and Satellite Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture. Her success has helped make Kristen Stewart one of the most sought-after performers today.
In 2020, Forbes listed Kristen Stewart among their list of “World’s Highest Paid Actresses” with an estimated net worth of $70 million.
Personal Life And Relationships
Like a butterfly in her cocoon, Kristen Stewart has blossomed since she first rose to fame. Over the years, her personal life and relationships have been of great interest to fans. Here are 3 facts that may surprise them:
1. She had long-term romantic relationships with both men and women.
2. She was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome at age 15 which caused her to miss out on attending college or university.
3. She is reported to be worth an estimated $70 million in 2023 alone!
Kristen's love life brought much media attention over the years as people speculated about who she might end up with next. Her relationship with Robert Pattinson became one of Hollywood’s most talked about romances and their breakup sparked even more conversations among tabloids and entertainment news outlets alike.
As impressive as she is both professionally and personally, Kristen admits that navigating some aspects of fame hasn't always been easy for her—especially when dealing with intense scrutiny from paparazzi and other sources during certain times in her career. But no matter what obstacles come her way, Kristen remains resilient; handling every situation like a pro while staying true to herself above all else.
Music Career
Kristen Stewart's music career began in the early 2000s. She dabbled with singing and songwriting, but her real passion was for playing instruments. She learned to play guitar and piano at a young age, which laid the foundation for her future success as an artist.
Later on, she started writing songs that were featured in major films like Twilight and Snow White & The Huntsman. This gave Kristen more recognition and opened up opportunities to collaborate with some of the biggest names in music today. She has worked with artists such as Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and many more.
In 2019 Kristen released her debut album called “Breathe Me” which showcased her talent as both a singer-songwriter and musician. It was praised by critics for its heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies.
The release of Breathe Me also increased Kristen Stewart's net worth significantly - paving the way for what looks set to be an incredibly successful career ahead of her.
Awards And Nominations
Through her career, Kristen Stewart has earned numerous awards and accolades. She was the first American actress to win a Cesar Award for her performance in 'Clouds of Sils Maria', making history with this achievement. Gajendra Chauhan Reflects on Payal Kapadia's Cannes Win Amidst FTII Controversy
Amidst the celebrations surrounding Payal Kapadia’s recent triumph at the Cannes Film Festival 2024, former FTII Chairperson Gajendra Chauhan’s comments shed light on the intersection of talent, discipline, and controversy.
Tumblr media
A Clash of Perspectives
Payal Kapadia, now celebrated for her Grand Prix-winning film, once stood in opposition to Gajendra Chauhan’s appointment as the Chairperson of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Her dissent, rooted in principle, fueled discussions on the importance of leadership and creative freedom within educational institutions.
Congratulations Amidst Controversy
In a recent interview with Times Now, Chauhan extended his congratulations to Kapadia for her remarkable achievement. However, when probed about her opposition to his appointment, he emphasized the distinction between talent and discipline. While acknowledging her talent, he underscored the significance of adherence to rules and regulations.
Reminiscing the FTII Days
Reflecting on the disciplinary actions taken against Kapadia and her fellow protesters during their time at FTII, Chauhan recalled the tumultuous period marked by protests and clashes. He recounted an incident involving the confinement of then-FTII director Prashant Pathrabe, highlighting the challenges faced by the administration amidst student unrest.
From Protest to Triumph
Kapadia’s journey from protestor to Cannes laureate exemplifies the resilience and determination of artists in navigating challenges. Her film, “All We Imagine As Light,” captivated audiences and earned accolades at one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, showcasing the power of storytelling to transcend adversity.
Conclusion
As Payal Kapadia basks in the glory of her Cannes win, her story serves as a testament to the indomitable spirit of creative expression. While controversies may linger, her artistic brilliance shines through, inspiring aspiring filmmakers and artists to pursue their dreams against all odds.
