1. Sard’ika Sessions - On my top five list of my own fics because I love Din Djarin (yes his character among other things) and that I’m exploring many avenues in this fic and there’s slivers of fluff. 🥰🛸
2. Tell Me How You Want Me - My first Pedro fic I wrote. You never forget your first and Marcus was really not looking forward to that cookout. Turned out it was good. 😊
3. The Long Road to Together - My Tommy Miller fic. It started with a man-bun and became a friends to lovers story. It has a few depressing parts but has a sweet core of two idiots who should have gotten together years ago. The pregnancy kink was very strong. 💪🏾
4. Now, to be fair, this one was a two parter so it counts: I’ll be your fool sugar and Let me at them nylons . So I write about no-outbreak Joel in a healthy relationship. He has a thing for a certain item of clothing. Had a lot of fun with it and had them being extra corny. 🌽
5. Let me wash your hair - One of my Frankie one shots, it’s one where I’m not traumatizing the poor man. Instead he’s having his hair washed by his wife. Very sweet and fluffy. He deserves it and more.

The Doctor and Rose have to unveil a plot to save an honest leader from an assassination plot. It's nothing new for them both, only this time, they have to do it while dancing at the ball with one of them blindfolded per said ball's rules.
Pink Petals (NineRose)
John wondered if it was the sound of the rain violently thumping the windows or the wind’s ominous howling that sparked the nightmares for Rose that night.

So, self-recs, let's see... Choosing favorites among my stories is like choosing a favorite child because I love them all, but if I were to recommend a sample as a representation of my works, these are the stories I would choose:
True Mettle
To this day, this one still ranks among my personal favorites, and interestingly enough, it's not shippy but an exploration of grief and loss and the power of friendship featuring Lin Beifong and Asami. What I'm saying is we need more moments with them hanging out and just being awesome and supportive together.
The Path
The one that started it all. The first book of my ongoing Kuvira redemption. It's been years since I wrote it, but I can still look back at it and feel a sense of accomplishment with it.
Masquerade
What began with a silly experiment with The Bodyguard evolved into one of my best Asami-centric stories, and even though it's an Asami/Kuvira story, Asami gets to shine in all her glory just as we would've liked to see in the series.
in your arms i am safe
Ruins of the Empire left me with a lot of emotions about Kuvira’s childhood, and they found their outlet in this Second Person POV story.
Playing with fire
My incursion to the Linvira shippers ranks is fairly recent (thanks to @redcatmusings) and it's given me the chance to explore Lin in ways I hadn't had the chance before, so I'm particularly happy with the way this story came out with its blend of angst and passion and romance.

Below the cut because I do be ramblin' (: They're not really in any particular order, I just love them all for different reasons.
1) If We Knew Anything At All
This one was a hell ship prompted by a list that Topsy shared with a bunch of us and I had a brainwyrm, then ended up crying while I wrote the end of it. Quite possibly one of my favorite ever pieces. This one is both the inevitable end to my fic universe and something completely outside time. How did I manage this? Via Sheogorath's voicing. I don't think it gets more unreliable than that.
2) Metempsychosis
A very dear friend and fantastic teammate I met through Skywind sent me this prompt and it gave me such an excellent challenge not only to flex on weird god voice stuff again, but also to bust out some spoken word poetry tricks. I did end up recording myself reading this one too and it felt like old times. I loved all the layers of references I shoved into 1,000 words. It is also my first Morrowfic. And also one that reminded me what I am capable of even more strongly than some of my other projects did. 🥰
3) Serpens Caput
This one is newer, yes BUT OH MY GODS what a flex it was. ANOTHER Morrowfic but it's set in Ceth's fic universe featuring not only major character death but the mindset of a villain in his final moments. And we get to see Danger!Josh through his eyes. It was WEIRD. WEIRD WEIRD but so much fun. I don't think I've yelled so much about a fic whilst writing before. Ceth threw me this prompt, but I don't think was expecting this to end up...being this way (: Borrowed the description of Teldryn and Nerevar from her universe and just RAN WITH IT.
4) Little Dragon
This was written as part of my cute, happy LDB!Athis polycule AU where nothing is quite as horrifically messy as my main fic universe. It is a different kind of catharsis to write, often fun and humorous and a flex in that direction, since I didn't know what i was capable of—I always write pining and heartbreak lol. This came about as part of a fic writer's duel with AU (judged by Poly) which was honestly one of the coolest fandom experiences I've ever been in. It has become its own thing now with multiple other stories and I've been in yet another fandom duel since then. So it's all cute fuzzy feelings and happy memories and I love it to bits.
and last but certainly not least:
5) The World on Our Shoulders
My longfic which throws characters into extremely tough situations, handles horribly difficult themes and topics, shows people being messy and still finds ways to show it all with grace. It's what got me out of my multi-year writing slump and truly, truly brought me back to myself. So yes maybe some of the characters have some of my irl nonsense. Some scenes are far too relatable and it's a little scary sometimes how horrible that is, but it's a different kind of Catharsis. I love also the support its gotten so far for its specific type of storytelling structure as well as all the weird details that sprawl into other stories (Like my honorable mention written for Para, Recurse) and sequels and spin offs. It's been a great joy to be writing this and it's continued to inspire me. From draft one, which I wrote in challenge mode, posting every day this last February to now, where I am mid-ground-up-edit, I love this project to bits and will do all I can to see it through to the end. I see how much I can accomplish in this project. I see what can be done with common tropes and themes and even Fic in general. It's unalienated labor that I do for the sheer hell of it because I can and it's mine and I don't have to follow The Rules. There's something beautiful about that. It's one reason I get up at the crack of dawn every day -- to write for the sake of writing. Out of spite sometimes for all the ways the world tries to crush this kind of self expression out of us. This is my gem of a project. And I am proud of it and how far I've come since I started it. (:

Eddie arrives home from a nightshift to Buck asleep in bed. Eddie decides to join him.
Meet Cute with a side of Suspected Murder
When Buck starts coming into Eddie's coffee shop on a regular basis, Eddie develops a huge crush on the guy. It's just a shame Buck's a serial killer. It's the only explanation for the smell of smoke that follows him around, the injuries, the weird things he says about blood and explosions and axes....
Passive Aggressive Flirting
AU: Buck and Eddie have never met. They both work at the 118 but just on different shifts. That's all about to change when Buck finds a sticky note message, signed E.
It isn't in my blood (to give up)
After being injured during a warehouse fire, Eddie expects a quiet night as he sits vigil in the hospital at Buck’s bedside waiting for him to wake up. Neither are prepared for what the night has in store for them...
Will you be my breath through the deep, deep water
Buck hates the rain, now more than ever.
Seems like the stormy weather isn't done with him just yet and there are two young boys to rescue from a rapidly filling storm drain....

Who is in control?
I set out to write this largely out of boredom, and it was the fic that started my rapid spiral into wyler brainrot - so of course it deserves an honourable mention here. There's definitely some things I would change if I were to write it again now, but as far as first fics go, I think it's not bad.
Sweet like honey
My first big multi-chap and a fic that I never imagined becoming quite as long as it has. I'm so excited to finish this and so wish that I could update more frequently. From the very first chapter (ostensibly posted as a one-shot), I have been so blown away by the positive reaction to this idea, and I am determined to give you all the happy (burning hot) ending you deserve for sticking with it for so long.
Honey I'm home
I could write essays on how passionately I feel about needy bottom Tyler, but for now I'll just say this idea would NOT leave me alone and it makes me endlessly happy that it inspired @nonamemanga's #pegging4pride masterpiece Once Upon a Pride...
Of curses and intrusions
You guys, it is so much fun to edge your readers. I think the tension came out really nicely, and this was honestly just super enjoyable to write.

Don't Be a Stranger
written for ladynoir july 2023 prompt "in every universe." this one was fun for me as i got to sort of reverse ladynoir's dynamic and make her chase him (totally platonically ofc) in a world where she just randomly shows up one day knowing everything about him.
summary
Chat Noir has been fighting Chrysalide alone for years when one day, Ladybug appears. She seems to already know him, and is a little too eager to be friends. But the more she pushes for her and Chat Noir to reveal their identities, the harder she is to trust.
excerpt
She was red from head to boot, spots black as her hair decorating the material of her suit and dotting her mask like ink drops. She looked like she was dressed up as a watermelon for a children’s theater show, and when she pulled back to beam at him, it was with a grin of manic joy.
“It’s me!” the girl said, laughing. “Ladybug!”
Chat Noir gaped at her, too stunned to notice the approaching pulse of light bearing down from overhead. But then the girl—Ladybug—tackled him to the ground once more, and they rolled to safety behind a row of cars. When he looked up, the remains of the cobbled street where they’d been standing moments before were scorched black.
“Do I know you?” Chat Noir asked, turning to look at her. Ladybug’s smile rapidly deflated.

this one was written for the ladrien june 2023 prompt "panic attack." i felt a bit out of my depth writing ladrien since i'm not normally a ladrien writer. however i did find a way to work and that was basically by making it about chat noir lol!
summary
Ladybug can’t find Chat Noir after an Akuma attack. Adrien does what he can to help.

“Chat Noir!” she called, her back to him, figure silhouetted against the flickering streetlights. She hastened past the slumped figure on the pavement, her cry cutting through the singing rain like a broken chord. “Chat Noir!”
“Hey.”
She jerked away at Adrien’s touch, pivoting to face him, yo-yo at the ready. Water shone on her skin, upon her mask, collecting in her eyes like the glint of moonlight just beyond the clouds.
“Ladybug,” Adrien said slowly, raising his hands in surrender. “It’s okay.”
“It didn’t work,” she gasped. “He’s not here. He should’ve come back!”
matter of luck
i swear i'm getting back to this one. i haven't abandoned it, it's just other wips get in the way! maybe adrien's curse has been passed onto me ahaha. anyways it's very teen romcom and i love this fic. it has a special place in my heart <3
summary
When Chat Noir activates the curse of the Black Cat Miraculous, he must get a kiss from Ladybug to break the spell. If only they weren't sworn enemies, he might have better luck.

Chat Noir sighed, raising his hand unenthusiastically. “Cataclysm,” he said, all his gusto deflating as inky blackness swirled into being over his palm.
She took a step back, eyeing his hand. Though he had never directed a Cataclysm at her, the crackle of his power turned the air electric. Her down pillow was a mere toy in comparison.
“You know what, buginette?” Chat said casually, and though the way he shifted slightly away was subtle, it served to lower her nerves just a fraction. “This is getting old. Instead of fighting, you should give me your your Miraculous, and I can finally take you out on a—”
Ladybug gripped Chat Noir’s opposite forearm, yanking him forward and using the momentum to tug him into a flip. He landed hard on the pavement, wincing as he twisted his arm to avoid infecting the street with his power. She would have felt bad if he didn’t immediately look up with his bottom lip protruding in a pout.
what makes a monster
part of the reason i love how this whole series turned out is because i think i nailed the characterizations. also, this was written pre s-4 finale, so if you read it now you'll get to see all the predictions i got right!
summary
An Akumatized victim steals Gabriel Agreste's wedding band. When Shadow Moth turns up, desperate to obtain the ring, Ladybug and Chat Noir decide to Cataclysm it.

Tossing the ring to Chat, she said, “Destroy it.”
“No!” Papillombre lunged forward, but stopped as Chat Noir held the ring up, grinning impishly.
“What’s it to you?” he taunted. “If this is really just a normal ring, Ladybug’s miraculous cure will restore it.”
“I have held back before,” Papillombre said, gritting his teeth. “But if you put so much as a scratch on that ring, boy, I swear I will not hesitate to make you pay.”
Two minutes, four seconds.
“Hey, m’lady,” Chat Noir said gleefully, ignoring Papillombre’s furious glare. “If you put it on, we’ll match.”
one does not love breathing
my personal favorite, not just because i really like how it turned out, but because this is what catapulted me headfirst into fandom and how i got to meet so many of my friends <3 it was also great for my own self-confidence as a writer!
summary
All of Paris watched as Hawkmoth murdered Chat Noir, taking the Black Cat Miraculous for himself. Ladybug swears revenge, but her enemy—and every Miraculous in his possession—disappear without a trace.
Six years later, a new team of villains launches an attack: Volpina, armed with new powers; Queen Bee, with questionable loyalty; Argos, the new holder of the Peacock Miraculous; and Cat Walker, who Ladybug hates the most.

Alya bit back the reply, and Marinette wrapped her arms around herself. She leaned her head back, closing her eyes, lines tight around her mouth as she spoke. “Just…don’t.”

Okay this is so cute I love this! Thank you for including me :) I am kind of struggling to pick tbh, so I'm just gonna go with the first ones I think of LOL!
First one that came to mind was Rough Day, it is an established relationship, married wyler fic that I really love.
Next one is a THG fic, Azaleas and Mockingjays, it's a fic about Madge Undersee and Katniss Everdeen's friendship! It's a lot of missing scenes with lots of Madge POV!
Wreck My Mattress is another, it was something new for me cause I'd never written any sort of Hyde-form smut lol, but I like how it turned out :)
A Burning Hill is another! It's a fic of mine that covers really tough topics like mental health issues and assault, but I am proud of how it has turned out so far. Pls read the tags before you read
Lastly, I Know The End! I really like writing Tyler POV, and I think I managed to capture him well while writing :) I like how the idea turned out

Ooh, this sounds fun! (I'm so sorry it got buried in my inbox!!! My inbox is a mess right now, and I don't know where to start!)
And I'll Ask for the Sea — It's hilarious I posted this exactly a year ago. That's not why I'm choosing it, though. It was literally the first "spicy" Haladriel I wrote before the pairing really took off, but it's Teen-rated. Galadriel spies on Halbrand while he takes a bath. Yeah, that was it. I affectionately call this one the "bath!fic."
Light Weight — This is a more recent one that flew under the radar, but it. Was. So. Complicated. I loved the journey through time, and the way everything came together so perfectly towards the end and with the show. At first, I was filling a prompt, but then it took on such a life of its own, and I think I'm always going to really love this one.
Eyes Closed — Born from a prompt as well, but I've always loved the complicated nature of this one, too. There's love and devotion and healing wrapped up in so much angst and darkness, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and those are my favorite types of stories.
Though the Gods and the Years Relent, Shall Be — My attempt at working Saurondriel into canon post-Dagor Dagorath. Everyone gets to start over, start fresh, and Mairon and Artanis meet in another life and things go differently with Morgoth still trapped in the Void. It's just pure fluff with a soft, sweet Mairon who is baby. Love this one.
Litost — It goes without saying this one is very close to my heart, and I'm enormously proud of it. I wrote out the entire outline for it back in November of last year, and I've recently hit many plot points I've been dying to write for a year, so that's been such a journey lately I'm very proud of finally reaching.

Thank you so much for asking. This was a tough question to answer since I'm overly critical of my stories and writing skills, but here we go:
One way to find out
Teen Wolf / Dydia - An old story and one of my first multi chapter stories. I don't write multi chapter stories often, so I'm still proud that I finished this one. It's also the most popular story I ever wrote.
Of Sun and Moon
Shadow And Bone / Darklina - AU inspired by a very lovely animated movie about the guardians of the sun and the moon which imo works really well with the show's mythology of sun and shadow summoners.
Schrödinger's Claus And The Mistletoe Variable
Terra Nova / Lucket - Modern Christmas AU. This was the first story I wrote after having not written anything for 5 years. If it weren't for this show/ship, I'm not sure if I would have gotten back into writing, so this story will always be dear to me.
Memento Mori
Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol / Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover - I've never written crossover stories before, so this was an exciting experiment. Sadly I liked this idea much more than everyone else so the story never really found readers which is why I abandoned it pretty quickly. But I still love the idea and who knows, maybe someday I will be inspired to revisit the story.
Meditation in Motion
Star Trek Strange New Worlds /Spocklaan - One of my first stories for this fandom/ship which has become so important and such a source of creativity for me. I still like this story a lot because it delves into the characters bonding, and I just like the concept of Spock teaching La'an to meditate and her teaching him Tai Chi.

Here are my five favorites in no particular order:
Gods or Mortals
They say that his birth was foretold by the Great Seer of this Age, an omega child born unto the House of Xavier and most beloved of the gods. Powerful amongst the Gifted Ones the child will grow to rule a kingdom mighty and vast, a legacy of dominion over land and sea. That he will be beautiful beyond mortal countenance and desired by all who see his face. Empires will fall by his command and kings by his design; the world torn asunder by war and then made new from its ashes.
These are the words that herald the arrival of Charles Francis Xavier, 124th of the line of Xavier and heir to the throne of Westchester.
This is his story.
I love this story so damn much! My new year's resolution is to focus on it and get part 1 finished.

I don't usually do romance but darn if this isn't romance with a capital 'R'. LOVE Logan in this story; he definitely deserves all the hugs.

It's been fifteen years since Erik last saw Charles Xavier, when they fell in love over the course of one unforgettable summer. Since then their lives have gone in very different directions, though their short love affair left an indelible mark that still ties them together.
All my favorite tropes - exes still in love, youthful regrets, angsty love affair - it's all there.
An End Comes to All Good Things
Sometimes love isn't enough, and good relationships still end. For Erik it happens sooner than expected, when he begins an affair with his boss and mentor, Sebastian Shaw.
For Charles, it happens later than it should, after a proposal that never happens.
I loved writing this ugly, ugly breakup...probably my best/most mature writing.

IMO, the imagery in this one just really works for the story.

I only chose among one-shots because I thought it be easier for me to pick. Yet, it took me four days to pic... Pretty sure I'd take at least a month to choose if I included chapters of any of my series 😂

1. When It's Meant To Be - Modern!Hamid x Daphne: This is a story I wrote to celebrate two years writing Meant To Be series that also has a few Kinktober prompts (I see praise kink and I remember Hamid. I don’t know why. I just do 😅). I rarely write smut for Hamid and Daphne because I tend to focus on their emotional and intellectual connection. But as two characters heavily attracted to each other, when I do write smut for them, I always bring out the big guns.
2. Not Ready - Modern!Yusuf Konevi, Veronica (F!OC), Modern!Hamid: one of my favorite works from last year. This story is about Yusuf’s fear of possibly being rejected by the people who say they’ll always love him no matter what and the ones who will be by his side if/when he comes out.
3. Thicker Skin - Ayla (MOTY MC), Guy Ledford, Stephanie (daughter): I think this is my favorite one-shot from last year. Inspired by a song that gave chills from the very first time I listened to it, this one shot is about the Ayla’s breaking point in her relationship with Guy. It’s about hurt, but it’s also about self-empowerment and the people who truly matters in her life.
4. Impromptu Dance: Unplanned - Nate Sewell x Stella (F!MC): this is the fluff Nate and Stella deserve but never get in canon because supernaturals never give them a break lol
5. Home - Logan x Carla (F!MC): Every time I think about writing a new Logan x Carla story, I think ‘will I ever write something as good as Home?’. That’s how great I believe this piece is.

A State of Mind: daddy!Din Djarin x f!Reader one shot
Summary: Din Djarin has kinks that he doesn’t even know he has. He’s leaning into it though. The second the name falls from your mouth, he knows he's in trouble.
A Little Night Off: Captain Rex x fem!Jedi Reader one shot
Summary: Rex is very angsty, overworked and needy and absolutely not holding back. You (fem!Jedi Reader) get a night off together finally and plan a little surprise to ease the tension that’s been building. But you have no idea what you’re in for.
