Thinking about the costuming on Felicity,, like how they intentionally have the characters rewear certain clothes through the seasons with occasional wardrobe updates. Like unlike other teen dramas at the time this was a really good choice considering they are all college students and do not have disposable income. Also how Felicity’s style changed as she became more confident in who she was as a person not letting others define her. I know everyone has opinions on her haircut but I LOOOOVED it I think it made a lot of sense for her character.

✨EP 24 OUT NOW ✨ Maria welcomes Kelly Diaz back to the podcast to cover one of the plotlines featured in Kelly's dissertation about youth activism on television. In the second season of Felicity, a student named Leila comes to the health center where Felicity Porter volunteers looking for Plan B. Felicity is dismayed to find out that the Board of Trustees recently created a policy forbidding the student health center from administering post-coital contraception. Felicity’s outrage over this injustice leads to her launching a two-day sit-in, with the help of Leila and her other friends, as they call on the administration to reverse their policy. We discuss everything from parental consequences and arrestable actions to the timeless nature of the plotline and the pivotal role that Felicity’s friend Julie, who had obtained Plan B from the health center after her rape, plays in bringing an end to the successful sit-in.

Cause it seemed like you’re kinda into me. Felicity, dropping cups: You know what? Maybe this all self confident act had some sort of appeal freshman year. But now it’s just sort of pathetic. Ben: Yeah, I can see it has zero effect on you. Felicity: And for the record: kissing you was about as exciting as kissing… my arm. (She kisses her arm.) Actually, no.
