Thank you for answering my ask....if you don't mind me asking (again), who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series (can be canon or non-canon)? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....

Sorry for replying super late. For some reason, my Tumblr notification system is broken & it doesn't notify me about asks (maybe bcz I've not updated it for a long time 😑)

Ok now back to the ask... Tbh, I am usually less interested in the romance aspect of a story, but I do enjoy it when the chemistry between a couple is interesting, understandable & on equal footing (by which I mean they be true to themselves & feel free to express their feelings or opinions to each other rather than keeping those to themselves).

The following ones are some of my fave couples:

Soo-Won X Lili

From Akatsuki no Yona

They're not couple in canon and I doubt they will but idc!Just look at their very first interaction...the atmosphere, the circumstance...doesn't it give off such a romantic vibe?? It's so cute!! And the couple itself is quite fascinating! Soo-Won & Lili are like two opposite poles...Soo-Won having a calm and collected personality while Lili is a bit restive & reckless. Even their preference and taste are so different but they both share a common mentality...to do smth for their ppl, try to do smth to make a difference and that makes this pair pretty interesting & cool! Sure they're not attracted to each other romantically, but they've been so open abt their thoughts, esp for Soo-Won who tends to be quite secretive but we've seen him sharing some of his personal feelings (and dilemmas) openly to her. Lili making fun of his 'love-life', blackmailing him to let her be with him in Ogi's place, Soo-Won supporting & motivating her on her supposed responsibilities and also showing his 'strict mom' mode when she's a bit too much to handle...Man I enjoyed every bit of it!! Yes I love them sm, they fit to each other so well, the best!!

Arima X Kaori

From Your Lie in April

After losing his beloved mother, Arima Kousei stopped playing piano & lost his motivation to move forward. Then Kaori revives his passion & brings color to his life. Despite having a tragic ending, what I find fascinating abt this couple is that while Arima was torn apart after his mother's death & was afraid to play piano again (mostly due to his complicated relationship with his mother), Kaori's death wasn't a barrier for him. I mean indeed it was hard for him to accept her departure, but his wonderful memories with her became an inspiration to keep on going toward his dream. (The last part when he thought Kaori's playing violin alongside with him in the competition and eventually realised that she's no more; hence breaking down with tears after finishing the play was so😭)

Yukito X Touya

From Card Captor Sakura

I've a soft corner for most of the Clamp couples bcz all of them are so wholesome and Yuki-Touya is one of the best! There're so cute together♡ I think I like them a lil bit more than the main couple of the story!

Sakura X Syaoran

From Card Captor Sakura

I like how their relationship started from rivalry to friendship to more than friendship... It's fun to watch both of them having a crush on Yukito at the beginning, trying their best to impress him & competing with each other lol. Then Syaoran starting to like Sakura but didn't want to acknowledge it(I absolutely love that stupid version of Syaoran). Then confession...that part was a bit dramatic but cute. For me, they're one of the best shoujo couples!!

Miyu X Kanata

From UFO Baby

Their story is full of comedies & dramas! On top of that Ru's arrival in their life made it wholesome!! Maybe it's particularly not the romantic aspect but the dramas for which I enjoyed their interactions.

I also like Tohru X Kyo from Fruits Basket, Haruhi X Tamaki from Ouran High School host club, KuroFai from TRC....Ig that's it.

#fave spotting #patrick troughton #the saint #interlude in venice #doctor who #classic doctor who #two #1966 #itc #Pat had made a previous Saint ep (2.18‚ The Romantic Matron) also as a local cop embroiled in Simon's schemes (Argentine in the earlier ep #Venetian here). his cop this time is rather more fleshed out; he's astute and intelligent enough to allow Simon pretty much a free #hand in pursuing the villains (all the most successful guest cops pretty much sit back and let him do his thing) whilst also acknowledging #that solving the case will undoubtedly be good for his career. there's also a subtle hint of comic business; in their first meeting #in a hospital‚ Pat sits on what appears to be a stretcher and has to be moved off it by an irate nurse‚ and he also offers to light candles #for Simon (bc he's the Saint ofc). this aired almost exactly a month before Pat debuted in DW in Power of the Daleks episode 1 #his tenure on Who would put an end to these kinds of guest spots for a couple of years‚ and afterwards he'd generally appear in more mature #or quirky guest roles‚ making this quite possibly the last of his detective roles #but he's a lot of fun as always‚ and his Italiano accent is definitely on the right side of Ham #and to think @thisbluespirit you and @basiltheratatouille were planning to waylay me and steal these dvds away!#and deprive me of a little Italian Patty T?! monsters both

Rambling about the flagpoles

So in my little AU France (Aimée) and England (Matt) are in love. They love each other. Yes, really.

Infact they love each other so much that they got married >:D but because they're cowards they didn't tell anyone

They did hate each other (a lot. They both have almost died by each others' hands multiple times both during war and peace) but not anymore, and when they realised this they were kinda horrified because that sure would be a Feeling, hating someone for so long, for centuries, and then realising that they're kinda.. nice?

Anyway what i was gonna talk about. Oh yes the rings. Because they're so horribly sentimental and madly in love, they both bought (commissioned asked for someone to make them idk english is hard) rings that were their eye colour. Fucking saps

So behold the quickly and roughly sketched rings

Matt's ring has an enstatite in it, and Aimée's has a jade. They're a bit chunkier that engagement/wedding rings usually are, because those two get in combat quite often (whether it be military training (they do have to keep up with the new info) or just getting in a fight with another countryhuman (most likely each other lmao)) because they're y'know real fictional people with feelings and personalities
