Camera Obscura
Tumblr media
Honestly this is one of my favorite topics since my dad's a photographer and taught me pretty much everything I know about cameras. The earliest cameras were said to be invented around 400BC by a Chinese philosopher named Mo-tzu and in the 4th century the Greek philosopher Aristotle realized it could be used to see a partial eclipse.
It wasn't until the 11th century that the camera obscura was used to reflect a full still image. As for the name, the actual term wasn't coined until 1604 by Johannes Kepler who invented a portable version he used for his astrology research in Austria.
Obviously there's a lot more to the camera's history, but I only wanted to share a quick overview of what a camera obscura is and how it got it's name before we get into the cooler and spookier aspects. So to give you a bit more context, one of my favorite videogames is called Fatal Frame or Project Zero where you have to defend yourself with only a camera with the ability to exorcise ghosts. It's a really good game, especially if you like the classics. Too bad real ghosts aren't so easy to deal with...
Moving on though, I mentioned in my previous post about how mirrors, photographs, and self-portrait paintings were sometimes believed to steal the souls -or at least a small fragment of them- of whoever is being reflected inside. And when you think about it, early cameras were pretty much the same thing. It's a lens that reflects the inverted image of something or someone in a dark room and later on it became possible to 'capture' the image on film by burning the image onto it.
Fun fact, that's why people had to stay perfectly still when taking a family portrait or something because the process of imprinting their image on film took time and moving would make the image blurry.
As for the rest when it comes to the paranormal myths about cameras, over the years I've learned that some stories about ghosts caught on camera are sadly either made up or clever hoaxes. There are definitely some cases where real ghosts have appeared on camera, but the idea that they can only been seen that way by normal people like us isn't true. The fact of the matter is you usually need a special camera to be able to see them if they're invisible since ghosts still have a low temperature, which means that you can detect them with an infrared camera but that only matters if you're out doing a paranormal investigation.
As far as actual photographs being haunted or possessed by ghosts...well, judging from what I've seen it's usually not so much that the photos themselves 'trap' ghosts, it's more like they're the ones who can't move on so it's an emotional attachment keeping them in there. Or at least an echo of their strong feelings and memories. It's the same with paintings in most cases.
In rare cases, there is some kind of magic or curse involved that has trapped the soul of their victim inside of an object but there's no way to safely test that theory. As you can imagine, the last thing I want to do is unleash a vengeful spirit by accident! Anyways, that's it for now but maybe next time I'll talk about videos since that's my main area of expertise. I am a vlogger after all! But if there's anything else you'd like to hear me talk about next, feel free to ask!

No Romeo, But He’s My Loving One-Man Show
Mirror Sex, Roleplaying for Days 9/10 of @harringrovekinktober additional incidental praise kink, edging, fledgling D/s dynamic, cum play, slight feminization
(roommates, kink experimentation, billy is a femme fatale but really just a very good boy, nsfw)
Handy Links to Previous Chapters: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
Steve had expected Robin to have some pointed feedback after coming over for dinner and a horror movie—a longstanding tradition Billy had inducted himself into a couple days post move-in by rescuing the pizza from a crispy demise because someone forgot to set a timer—but when Steve met her for coffee later that week, all she talked about was the mirrors.
Why are there so many? Why are there more every time I visit? Do you know how many years of bad luck you’re risking? That old one with the fancy frame is definitely cursed—I saw something moving in it. No, it wasn’t us—something else. Like, out of the corner of my eye. It’s haunted, Steve—you should get rid of it. Don’t break it, though, whatever you do.
Finally, after much redirection and pointed questioning, she’d given her assessment on the Billy situation, specifically how Billy seemed to feel about Steve, from an outside perspective.
Mostly you both seemed normal, aside from sneaking looks at each other constantly. But even that’s normal, in a way. Her eyes narrowed. Is that why so many mirrors? More opportunity for sneaky looks?
Which—what? No. That wasn’t why—though he’d be lying if he said he’d never… But what did she even mean, that even that’s normal?
Well, like when we watch movies and something funny happens, you always look at Billy to see his reaction. And when the special effects are corny, he always looks at you and rolls his eyes. And when we’re all three hanging out, half the time it’s you and me trading knowing looks from inside jokes, and half the time it’s you and him. So, like—the looking isn’t new, I just caught you guys doing it without the other realizing it. Like a bunch of times.
Rather than deny it, Steve found himself asking, pathetically, how Billy looked. When Billy looked at him.
Like this, Robin said, and made the biggest, dopiest cow eyes, complete with dreamy sigh, reverent tilt of the chin.
Steve told her to fuck off, but couldn’t repress the grin splitting his idiot face, and Robin cackled.
Ask the haunted mirror, if you don’t believe me! It’ll totally back me up.
.
It’s not like they’d planned to make the apartment a fun-house mirror maze, but after the divorce, Steve’s mom went a little nuts selling off stuff from the Hawkins place, all of which was apparently unsuitable for her townhouse in Chicago, and when his dad made a stink about her disposing of hideous heirlooms intended for Steve, she’d promised to forward their son the remainder.
Which was how he ended up with the couch, complete with decorative throw pillows, and… about six ornate mirrors of varying unreasonable size. And sure, he could’ve sold them himself, because his dad didn’t actually give a shit, but then he’d sorta grown used to them, and Billy had never complained, so… yeah. Made the place feel bigger, or whatever.
Over time, the arrangement had shifted here and there—except for the one in Steve’s room over the dresser, the one in the bathroom over the sink—anyway, however it happened, Steve had noticed, one day, that he’d subconsciously mastered where to position himself throughout the sitting room to see a reflection of the kitchen, the bathroom corridor, and… Billy’s room, if the door was open—and, these days, it usually was.
Did he feel like a creep? Well, yes and no. Yes in that he was aware he should feel like a creep, and therefore did, and no in that he was almost certain Billy knew he was watching and didn’t care. Not only didn’t care, but… liked it.
After his conversation with Robin, though, he threw all subtly to the wind, staring fixedly at Billy’s reflection as he puttered around in the kitchen, as he left the bathroom, as he lounged in bed reading a book… silently daring Billy to call him out on it, until Billy did.
“Feel like a bug under glass,” he called, turning a page. “You gonna pin me down?”
Humming, Steve resettled against the arm of the couch, didn’t bother turning—just kept admiring him in the mirror leaning against the wall, almost floor to ceiling. The bedside lamp cast warm shadows, limning his hair in gold. Steve wondered if Billy got tired, holding the book above his face like that.
“I was thinking more like a spy tailing a mark.”
Billy laughed—a short bark of sound. One of Steve’s favorites. “Be dead so fast—made in seconds.”
“You saying I’m more Get Smart than Napoleon Solo?”
“Dunno,” Billy mused, thoughtful. Rolling, he made a pillow of his arms, crossed over the closed book. Leveled Steve a filthy smirk. “If you were 007, I could be your Bond Girl.”
That got Steve to turn around, meet his gaze direct, then cooed, all sympathy: “You wanna be tied up, babe, just ask.”
Billy bit the inside of his cheek, unwillingly amused, so Steve dialed up the cheesy charm.
“C’mon, that was good—Bond Girl? Like bond—”
“I got it,” Billy drawled, levering himself up only to flop against his piled pillows in supposed disgust, book cast aside. “Just call me Pussy Galore.”
“Dick Galore.”
Billy frowned. “Randy Galore?”
“A Bond Boy would have to be Randy Something,” Steve acknowledged. “Or… Something Hancock.”
They paused, then, in unison: “Randy Hancock.”
“And I, James Bondage, am tailing you,” Steve went on, as Billy snickered. “And haven’t been made, because I’m an experienced, accomplished spy—”
“Yeah, yeah, fine.” With a final snort, Billy folded his arms behind his head, semi-reclined, and pondered the ceiling, unfocused. “What next?”
Steve mimicked him, only on the couch, back to watching Billy’s reflection. “I use my handy spy-glass to peer around corners, and I catch you unawares—getting ready for bed.” Billy hummed, polite interest, and waited for more. So Steve gave him more, mind whirring, pulse already on the rise. “I watch you take off your shirt.”
Absently, only shifting enough to complete the action, Billy peeled his shirt off. Dropped it on the floor.
“Then your jeans.”
Those required a more aggressive shimmy, but soon they joined the discarded shirt.
“And then I can’t stop—can’t look away. Like I’m glued to the sight.” Steve’s throat clicked as he swallowed, trailing his palm down his stomach—indulged in a firm rub. “So pretty, spread out on the bed.”
On cue, Billy spread, thighs parting to reveal white briefs, the cotton worn thin, pink showing through where his bulge stretched the fabric. Sighing, a lazy hand skated south, fingers brushing the waistband. Slipped under, but no further. The fingers seemed to press—stalling the hips, an aborted twitch.
“Shit.” Steve wagged his head, corralling what remained of his wits. “I—uh, I figure…” He chuckled, let one heel drop off the couch to rest on the floor, his hand working a steady rhythm. “Figure I’ll learn what you like, use it to seduce you later. Learn how you like to touch yourself—”
Billy grunted, lashes stuttering as he shoved past the elastic, made a fist around the handful. Spoke soft, musing: “Haven’t, you know.”
“What?”
“Haven’t been—touching myself.” Eyes still on the ceiling, Billy’s lips quirked, just as soft. “Not without permission.”
That landed like a punch, loosing a long, meandering moan: “Baby.”
And the baby blues drifted down, met a reverent stare in the mirror. “Yeah?” So innocent, solicitous.
Steve rolled his hips into his palm, arching clear off the cushion. “I like that.”
Billy’s head lolled sideways, downcast—bashful as he squirmed, bulky knuckles straining the front of his briefs.
“My good boy,” Steve murmured. And he meant it with every fiber of his being: “Show me what feels good.”
His eyes fluttered closed. The hand slowed. “You.”
Simultaneous hits—to the heart and the heat low in his gut. A vicious press brought himself back under control.
“God—killing me.” Could barely huff it, all of him locked on the hand that had tugged free of clinging briefs to caress the red weeping cock, featherlight, through damp cotton. Steve’s pulse pounded so loud in his ears he more saw it than heard it—pink lips shaping You. You. You.
As though hypnotized, clumsy because he was so hard it fucking hurt, even sweatpants chafing awful against skin throbbing tender, Steve stumbled to the bedroom door—caught himself on the frame, panting, light-headed from the sudden vertical, essential bloodflow coursing elsewhere.
Billy choked off a whine, fisted the coverlet to either side, legs splayed as his spine bowed, sank back. “Please.”
In a blink, Steve was at the foot of the bed, crawling to him, over him, hips forcing Billy’s legs wide. “I got you.” Long, dragging grind, the rub exquisite. “I got you.”
The moan vibrated through Billy’s flushed chest. He hadn’t let go of the bedding—wouldn’t, Steve realized, winded anew. He wouldn’t let go unless Steve told him to.
“How long?” Steve panted, reaching down to rub Billy with the flat of his palm through the briefs, this jerking, gentle pressure that worked him piecemeal to the peak, a maddening build. “How long you been waiting for permission, baby?”
“Luh—” Billy coughed, swallowing spit. “Long.”
“So good,” Steve crooned. “I think you’ve earned a reward, don’t you?”
The flush had spread up his neck to his cheeks, temples pulsing red. He was nodding, mindless.  “‘Kay.”
“All right.” Steve brushed the bulbous crown with a teasing thumb. “Tummy or panties?”
Muffled throaty sound—like he’d been stabbed. Delivered on a whimper: “Panties.”
Steve resumed his kneading rub, coaxing, fine tremors wracking the body at his mercy. “One day I’m gonna get you a nice pair. Maybe something with lace?”
Billy gulped, trembling nod.
“Lace for your pretty cock, a thong for that pretty ass?”
Half-lidded, head craned back, lip bitten raw between his teeth, Billy shivered.
“Make a mess in your panties,” Steve whispered, bending low. “And I’ll make a mess in them, too.”
A burst of guttural gasps, almost hiccups, borderline sob, and he convulsed beneath Steve’s hand, sticky wet seeping through the fabric.
Steve dropped a good boy with every kiss—on cheek, neck, sternum. Lifting up on his knees, he brought out his own cock, stripping it with a loose fist.
Half-boneless, Billy hooked lazy fingers in the back of his briefs, tugging them past the curve of his butt, the front pulled snug against his spent dick, and rolled onto his stomach. Arched, presenting himself, bare ass exposed, and Steve found his groove between plush cheeks, rutting with enough force that he could feel his cockhead rub against that tight hole.
It didn’t take long—short pumps, short of breath—brutish grunt as he finished, coating the pert cheeks in ropes of slick, deploying one hand to catch runaway drips, pet the clenching hole with wet fingertips, tease the entrance.
Billy cut off a whine, squirming, grinding into his own mess, pushing into the pressure behind.
“Soon,” Steve promised. “I’ll give it to you soon.”
An unspooling sigh, and Billy went limp, face turned away.
Planting a kiss at the base of a shoulder blade, Steve drew up the back of Billy’s briefs, smoothing a hand over the sodden fabric—with a wave of heat, imagined the trail of his come oozing toward the taint.
Shifting, Steve curled up along Billy’s side, nose to nose, arm looped around his sloping back.
Billy blinked, placid, as Steve drew a lock of hair away from his eyes.
“Ruined it,” he mumbled, mouth quirked. “The spy scene.”
“Nah,” Steve said. “A good spy knows when to change plans on the fly—switch it up.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah.” Warming to the idea: “What happened was—I realized I could offer you what you needed. In exchange for what I needed.”
Billy’s gaze was lulling as a lake in moonlight. “What did I need?”
Steve let a smile twitch, nerves singing. “Me.”
An echoing twitch. Lids lowered, a hitch in his tone: “And… what did you need?”
Steve dipped near, heart in his throat. “You.”
Billy hummed, a short burst trapped behind teeth. He nudged close, and Steve’s eyes slid shut.
Press of lips, lingering soft, on the edge of his chin.
.
“Steve?”
They’d been drifting awhile, lying flush, occasional brush of roving hands, warm gusts of breath. Belatedly, Steve hummed, enquiring.
“Itchy.”
He snorted, stretching like a lazy dog. Shower didn’t sound half bad, but there was something else he’d been wanting to try.
“How about a bath?”
Brows raised, pensive duck lips. Steve called his bluff—bowled him over, rough nuzzle, and hauled him upright.
.

I post a lot of headcanons and aus stuff but truth is, I'm a roleplayer at heart. Written via Skype, MSN, even had this weird set-up where someone doodled out their reply in art and I chose to type mine out in word format. Since I have a wealth of free time, I was gonna put forth this offer to start roleplaying in private servers on Discord! Firm on fiction =/= reality . Can write anything from short paragraphs to multi-paragraph responses as I'm often on my laptop. 21+ preferable since I'm 21+ myself; I do tend to delve into heavy topics because I find horror enjoyable. CNC, NSFW, all fine! I don't mind! I tend to toss an idea out to my writing partner when I get it and see where it leads, generally. Blood, gore, SH, sexual content, all perfectly fine since I have no triggers myself, and I have a rather versatile roster of characters! I've written: (JJK, up to date) Ryomen Sukuna, Yuuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Yuta Okkotsu... (the list continues!) I also like to become friends outside of the roleplay, so my interests are gaming, manga, writing, and learning/studying. I tend to lean heavily into tropes and plots inspired by content like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Higurashi, Death Note, Fatal Frame, Elfen Lied, Persona, and more. I like getting into themes and the psychological aspect as well as the general aspects. I'm a nerd at heart, what can I say? I also like creating little channels in discord where we can share fanarts and other things with each other! Mutishipper to the core! ( Tend to lean more into: itafushi/fushiita, sugusato/satosugu, sukufushi/fushisuku, gosuku/sukugo, always open to trying something new though! ) And I also dabble in aus, of course: like Reincarnation plots, ABO, Yandere content... but tend to shy away from OCs. Though, In NSFW regard, I lean into writing bottoms bc I'm not confident in writing tops quite yet... And I'm up at all hours, almost. Typically a bad sleep schedule so timezones aren't an issue, especially if we really click! I'm also completely caught up with the anime & the manga together so no need to worry about spoilers. You can even look around on this blog and see if you like my stuff and think our characters will get along! Just throwing this out there into the void to see if anyone's interested in starting something with me! Let's build a world! Contact via the Tumblr IMs for my Discord name or by liking!

I finally got a copy of Gamelords’ Thieves’ Guild box set (1984) and it is just as good as I hoped.
At its core, it is a hack of D&D. It even uses THAC0, which is actually a little further ahead of the curve (the concept started cropping up in D&D products around 1982, but only became a central mechanic with AD&D 2E in 1989). But imagine D&D where the only thing you can play is a thief. To do that, you’d have to have a think about the thief abilities, probably expanding them and adding a bunch more. You’d also have to downplay direct combat and rework the sneakier stuff like backstabs (why aren’t these fatal in D&D exactly?). Finally, the focus of the game would move naturally from dungeons to heists, and that would involve more social roleplaying before and after the action. And that’s exactly what Thieves’ Guild does.
As a player of thieves, this box set is a dream come true. I love it all. It only really works for a game where everyone is a thief (OK, maybe a fighter or two as well). When you do that, and everyone has different specialties, everything becomes an operation. You don’t just roll to pickpocket — you need people in the streets distracting the crowd, watching the guards, positioned to foil pursuits. You need an escape route and a fence. One simple die roll in D&D becomes a whole adventure in Thieves’ Guild.
There’s tons more. Guidelines for ransoming prisoners, rules for running the local justice system. The pages on fencing are invaluable and the overhaul of combat is genius, using one-hit kills (and knock-outs) to re-frame it as an exercise in stealth and deadliness. There’s also poisons and sleeping draughts to consider. The whole thing is fantastic, a complete re-balancing. I want to play!
Cool art, too. That David Martin painting on the front of the box is tops! (Also, worth noting that the character creation book uses races and such directly lifted from Tolkien, which strikes me as funny).

MY EXPERIENCE IN THE ROLEPLAYING COMMUNITY | Accepting | @bymargrace
Tumblr media
🍪 my favorite roleplay memory
There was this lady I used to RP with when I was really young. I've always called her my RP mentor because of the lengths she went to guide me through handling a muse and how to gauge a character.
I roleplayed with her for years. From 14 to 21. She taught me so many things when it came to roleplay. I will always be indebted to her, and silently thanking her each and every day for broadening my horizons when it came to my imagination. She was so patient with me, protected me from creeps, and gave me lessons in grammar - I mean, she could only do so much as a non-english teacher, but I got the gist x"D
She is my favorite memory. I always think about her. Unfortunately, we lost contact somewhere along the way. But I pray she hasn't retired and scooped up another lost soul to take under her wing.
🎾 what type of genre of roleplay i prefer to write
VARIED. I like fluff. Anything that's cute. It's very Yuna. She is an adorable little flower who has a lot of wisdom to share for anyone willing to listen. How she enjoys sharing moments of silence and stillness with the people she holds dear to her. I love indulging in that and incorporating so many wonderful, precious moments for her to look back on. I see them as her strengths. She will recall them when she feels down.
I can seldom do angst. I mean, I WILL. But. It needs to be delivered right for me to find it fun. I enjoy spiraling out of depressing control and watching my muse feel hopeless, inferior, powerless, lost, close to death, but not ALL the time. It messes with me.
But I usually lean towards silly cracky shit. There's something fun about throwing someone as serious and naive as Yuna into something so stupid and non-serious.
She really likes to play and act silly considering, she never really had much of a childhood due to her being so close with Yevon and the temples. They saw her as a prodigy because her father's talents for summoning was passed down to her. They took that, groomed her to be their new sacrifice, and she took that willingly and ran with it. Because it was the right thing to do.
She needs laughter, joy, and fun.
HORROR. I am a horror FANATIC. The Fatal Frame series is held dearly in my heart. I love those games so much. They're definitely #2 on my Top 5 favorite games. Final Fantasy series being #1. I love being scared. LOVE IT. Give me ghosts, give me zombies, give me movie star serial killers, UGH. I would love to throw Yuna in survival-horror genres where she cannot rely on magic, but her wit.
BATTLES. These are fucking HARD to do. I love doing them, regardless. However. Writing this as a healer is probably the most STUPIDEST THING. You cannot write something that doesn't sound annoying, or weird, OR UGLY. "SHE HEALED HIS WOUNDS" just sounds so bland, fake even. Like a false priest healing the sick. but make it flowery? Try, and it just sounds ridiculous. AMIRITE?
I also enjoy some smut. I'm really REALLY trying to get the hang of it. It's incredibly hard, lord I tell you. I get so nervous writing this shit because SO MUCH goes into it. You literally have to write all five senses. Miss one, and it seems as though your muse has not been attentive enough and it makes me FEEL SO BAD. Like, I read the reply! I did! I am sorry I didn't have my muse react to that. I am stupid fhirwoafjdkf
📫 my favorite type of ships
Oh god. I love so many types. It depends on the muse I write.
I used to RP Blackfire in the Teen Titans 2003 rpc and she LOVED going for the innocent guys. Bad guys? Eh. She'd use them to get her rocks off then make their life a living hell because she wanted to. Betrayal, stealing, murdering them after she got what she wanted. Yup.
Innocent boys such as Wally West, for example, (a ship I had many years ago xD) she was FIXED on. She wanted to corrupt him and make him belong to her. She was very toxic, possessive, downright horrifyingly disgusting with her behavior. While she's trying to murder her own sister, she goes back to Wally and wraps herself around him, sinking her claws into him. She was a nasty piece of work.
Yuna? I feel like her ships are incredibly flexible because of how she is. Yuna is very likeable due to how she was raised - first by her selfless father, then an entire village of Besaid. She is patient, kind, and resilient. All she wants to do is good for everyone. Yes. That includes the man who wanted to manipulate her into giving her very life to make him become the next Sin: Seymour.
And because she has a knack for holding out her hand to everyone, I think that makes her very susceptible to form ships from all walks of life. Yuna has a pool of people she would gladly give her love to, unlike some of my other muses I wrote for previously, and I think that's wonderful. ;u;

What would you describe as the "appeal" of vore, if anything? I've so often heard of vore being framed as intimate (sometimes even comfy/cozy), so I'm interested in hearing more about someone's perspective on it.
sorry for not responding sooner, i’ve been busy and not checkin tumbl all day
so vore. people can get really weird about it usually, and it’s definitely different for everyone. I should first preface this by saying that, i can only say my own perspective on it. And there are many different types of vore. Basic, Cock, Breast, Anal, and tons more. sometimes it’s fatal, sometimes it’s not, it really depends on what you’re looking for.
for me however, i fall into liking both fatal and non-fatal vore. so let’s talk about both. Vore overall is a very intimate experience for all involved. obviously, if you are roleplaying it with a person, it’s more loving, but some have fetishes into it that they just vore strangers; and that’s hot too!
for me, the idea of becoming someone’s body fat/energy, merging with them to become a part of them, is as intimate as you can be. I can also agree that it is comforting and it’s mostly due to me liking being super like, stuck. i don’t know what it is but the idea of being a part of my soulmates body, is super loving and special to me. obviously it’s just a kink, but it’s true that i feel that. for me personally fatal vore and becoming a part is wholesome and fun, though i get why people could be disgusted or creeped out by it.
on the other hand, non-fatal vore is also amazing! stealing mass, people’s skills, their intelligence. Healing them inside your stomachs, or just transporting them since it’s the simplest ways. One of my fav vore artists (slash tummy artist in general, i love how they draw them) lewdlemage, who i am not sure if they’d re on tumblr or not, has done both kinds of core and their non fatal stuff is really cute.
maybe i’m a weird freak, maybe i’m just strange but actually becoming a part of a person, especially my partner, would be divine. In tons of scenarios like this, the person gets to live on inside the other person as titfat or buttfat. and that’s super hot too~!
anyway that’s just my perspective and maybe i didn’t word it well? idk, but like, i hope this helped? i’m an open book about stuff like this and im not ashamed so if you have anymore questions lmk

💞 Hello there! I'm 30, I'd like my rp partner to be at least 21+.
I'd consider myself semi-lit, but really quality over quantity. I can write anywhere from 8+ paragraphs to a few sentences per post. I'm happy to role play over discord, tumblr dm, and email. If you're interested please like this post and we can go from there! I love dark themes, gore (and guro), drama, and romance!
Please note: while I have very few limits (the only one that comes to mind is nothing with scat) I really want a plot over smut role play. If some suggestive situations or even full on erotica occurs that's fine, but it's not the only thing I want to role play.
The only fandom I'm looking for is Hogwarts Legacy. I'd be willing to do any ship or pairing, and I'm happy to double. But what I'd really like is to play some OCs. I believe my two OCs Emily and Emmanuel (see below) work really nicely in this world, and I have modified histories for them to suit the Wizarding World.
I would also be willing to take a fandom world and play with some OCs in them. Here are some I enjoy:
- fatal frame
- Buffy the vampire slayer
- the vampire Chronicles/interview with the vampire
Otherwise I'd like to maybe come up with a plot together! Here are some of the characters I would like to play:
- Emmanuel. A closed off loner with various scars and an amputated arm. Rumors abound about how he used to be a social butterfly in high-school, even an all star baseball player...but even more rumors swirl about the mysterious deaths of his parents, and how his adopted little sister, Emily, now resides in a mental institute. Despite closing himself off from the world and only working graveyard shifts, Emmanuel begins to long for companionship, even as the fear he holds of his growing desires threatens to break the surface.
(Emmanuel thinks he's straight, but he's really bisexual.)
(I would also love to play with both of these characters before Emily snaps. Please note: their bond is very codependent and I would say borderline incestuous. Also there might be a chance Emily is 🍪 during the rp. So if that bothers you, you may not want to interact with these two.)
- Vivian. She is from a family of butchers who own a well established business. In previous role plays with her she has always been a mermaid butcher, but this can easily be changed to suit preferences. She is a high functioning alcoholic, who despite her hard demeanor seems to hold a soft heart.
(Vivian is bisexual.)
- Max (Maxine). A hermit that lives deep in the woods with a pack of dogs. She hunts, lives off the land, and whittles. However, once a month she trades her deer in for a man to hunt. She turns him loose on the property, and none have ever survived. Max thinks she could live an eternity in solitude, until she meets a woman who changes her mind.
(Max is a lesbian.)

1. Which muse(s) is/are your favourite(s)?
I don’t think I have a favorite muse per say, but currently my most active ones are the Emiyas. I have been considering roleplaying as Shirou and Archer since circa 2013 give or take, but at the time the seething hate towards Shirou thanks to the studio DEEN adaptation butchering his personality made me afraid – I’m pretty sure this is a feeling that Umineko fans can relate. It was before the release of the UBW anime – in fact, the DEEN version of UBW was the one floating around. Another muse that was dear to my heart back when it had his own blog is Narukami. I loved the original game when I first played, but when I finally got the Vita version I was in a similar headspace : I was moving from one of the largest cities in the world back to my hometown, a place with tons of fog and my parents’ place is right next to three communications towers. You can pretty much hear “Who’s there?” playing during raining days. And, of course, Snoopy. One of my former classmates says she recalls me liking Snoopy since my daycare center days so I’m like… Fan of him since I was 2 years old? Technically speaking that’s the longest I’ve been fan of anything lmao (and everyone likes a fluffy mascot).
2. Which muse(s) do you wish had more interactions?
So many to be honest. Kiritsugu has been just chilling, Waver and Gray are good beans too. I also wished my Code: Realize muses had more interactions but I understand they are very niche. Some of the muses in my new secret menu are in there because they seldom got any interaction and some are new and I’d like to take them for a spin. I also have promised myself to try to have more interactions with my OCs.
14. What is your favourite fandom to write in? Why?
I love the Fate fandom and its universe. It is also pretty compatible with crossovers for anything that happens in the real world. Persona? Sure, the Palaces, Metaverse and the Midnight Channel could be forms of Reality Marbles for example. Madoka Magica? Well, Kyubei could be a foreign entity up to no good. Fatal Frame? Just look at how often ghosts show up in the works. So on and so forth, all we need is to sit down and brainstorm a bit.
15. What is a fandom you wish to write in one day?
Right now I don’t think I have any particular fandom I’ve been eyeing. Maybe something niche like the long dead Shadow Hearts or Phantasy Star.
7. Do you have crossover verses for the muses on your blog?
Tumblr media
…Puyo. I do have a Fate AU for Snoopy as a Servant (he is a Ruler, but he can also manifest as a Rider in his Ace form fyi). Believe me: if I don’t currently have a crossover, I’d love to make one.   I do have a Persona 5 AU for Shirou and a prototype Pokemon verse for him. I also have a fully fleshed-out Pokemon and Fate AUs for Hajime. I also have an Opera Omnia verse for Rufus (aka: the Dissidia verse so he can interact with any FF muse). Give me ‘em AUs. AUs, crossovers, verses, I love them.

Am working on an Equestria Girls AU with some OCs based on those from Fatal Army, a fantasy story I am working on with friends which in turn is based on a roleplay we did back in the day.
Here are the OCs (left to right in image):
Raw Berry is less a rebel and more a fire-starter, a loose cannon who'd cause trouble for anyone unfortunate enough to be in her path. She is an otherworlder, a human thief named Rapunzel who with the rest of the Fatal Army ended up in yet another world called Equestria. In hopes of finding a way home, she joined Twilight Sparkle’s quest to retrieve the Element of Magic only to be caught in another string of problems. Luckily, she managed to find people who have some sort of link with some of her guild.
Leapfrog is rich but rebellious, ending up in Canterlot High as a compromise with his family. He's sly and calculating, and is surprisingly socially aware for a "nerd". Knowledgeable in many fields, wise beyond his years, but is sarcastic and nasty. Manipulative and sneaky, slipping through everyone’s radar much like the Fatal Army’s le Me, who gifts Leapfrog with the speed, agility, and tricks of a ninja.
Vulpin is normal at first glance. Smart, witty, friendly...honestly a bit too friendly, and a tad too talkative. While people write him off as a braggart, he can back up how smart he claims himself to be. He is immensely similar with the leader of the Fatal Army, Volcano, who gifts him with pyromancy.
Rusty is a geek who dives deep where even the other two have casual knowledge. His scrawny frame and scarred appearance got him into more lockers than he can count. Somewhat timid and easily startled, but has a sense of justice that gets him to stand up every now and then. While the mechanical warrior Rhazma sees great potential in Rusty, the latter’s lack of self-esteem bogs down on Rhazma’s willingness to give him a mighty shielded gauntlet.
Tumblr media
Vulpin may like Raw Berry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rusty is being shipped with Fluttershy cos I used to ship her with Rhazma, but since his lore was updated and all I had since just had Rusty take his place in that regard.
He's in a shark suit cos he works at his uncle's hobby store, Cardshark Hobbies.
Tumblr media
Was looking through Fluttershy's wiki page and noticed something, so it became the focus of this comic.

Sesshōmaru looked up, not at all fretting over the wide gash that crossed his left shoulder, the protective armor into pieces at his feet. The daiyōkai’s blood trickled copiously from the deep wound, staining almost entirely one side of his kimono. The pain was marginal, he surmised he was probably under the effect of some sort of numbing poison, though his body naturally resisted its most drastic effects.
The creatures in this place were similar to yōkai, yet different. Almost as if belonging to a cousin species. The dog demon prince had heard about them from his father when he was younger. Supernatural creatures from the Old World to the West -- a place a lot further than the Western Lands he hailed from --, similar to humans in appearance, yet gifted with far superior abilities. He knew they remained in the shadows, coming out only at night.
He also knew that they had a hierarchy with several social classes, much like his kind did. It was the first time, however, that he’d see them in these numbers so close to his homeland.
Drawn uneasy by their continuous invasions, Sesshōmaru had left the familiarity of the Western Lands and pushed further, crossing the seas and then moving more and more inland, wanting to get to the root of their increasing numbers.
His decision had been naive. He should have expected that these fiends would become more powerful the closer he got to their home. The wound that had been inflicted on him had been at hand of one of them, now reduced to sand at his feet, mixing with his blood.
He hadn’t expected another one to be so close. Moreover, he hadn’t heard her approach at all, which suggested she was of a stronger type than his previous opponent. This made him slightly on edge.
“My blood is not for you to feast on.” He warned her coldly, his sword still drawn at his side. “You should return to where you came from.” @roleplay-abiogenesis2

Top 5 Twisted, Yet Fun Games of All Time
I have been a video gamer since growing up as a kid (back in the 1980's), with my first game system being the classic NES, and I have played many different games since then. These games includes: Battletoads, Super Mario Bros, Sonic, Mega man, first person shooter games, roleplaying games, online games (such as Adventure Quest), and plenty of other hit games out there. Of course, I have also played plenty of twisted games too and some of them are surprisingly fun, humorous, and sometimes even popular, and in this article, I will talk about at least 5 of them.Game #1 - Become a "thug" in the Grand Theft Auto SeriesEver wondered what it might be like living the life as a thug and getting involved in organized crime (such as gangs) without actually becoming a criminal? In the Grand Theft Auto series (with the latest installment being The Ballad of Gay Tony), you do just that. The GTA universe is a popular roleplaying game, usually based in New York City (also known as Liberty City, though some games feature other cities such as Miami in Vice City and Los Angeles in San Andreas) where you usually control a thug (such as Nikko in GTA 4) and do missions for various crimbe bosses throughout the city. Some quests involves petty crimes such as stealing a prized car that a certain crime boss wants, while other missions may have you assassinate people that have crossed the criminal organization you are a part of, such as delinquents. In GTA San Andreas, for example, Carl Johnson joins the Grove Street gang and gets involved in a gang war with rival gangs, such as the Ballas (though he also works for crime bosses such as El Salvador, Doctor Rosenburg, as well as a corrupt government agent named,Lumber Jack Forest Wood aChop Mike Torreno to name a few). Many of the newer games also have plenty of side missions you can do, such as spraying graffiti on select buildings in San Andreas, take on multiple girlfriends (CJ for example, can have up to 6 girlfriends), as well as doing smuggling missions (such as hauling freight from the badlands to Las Venturas while dodging police officers in San Andreas). Of course, on the side if you rather just play for fun, you could always go on rampages in the game, where you can steal cars, get a little trigger happy, obtain wanted stars and drive the local police crazy, drive like a maniac around the city, as well as trying to get your guy killed. By the way, you never really have to worry about getting busted or wasted in the game as your guy will simply respawn at the nearest hospital or police station, only to go on another rampage once more (by the way, never try this in real life a this aspect is very unrealistic of course). Similar games: Saints Row, Gun and BullyHere are some interesting stuff you can do in the GTA univers that you can't get away with in real life:Your primary form of transportation are cars you jack from unsuspecting people, and you can usually get away with it unless if there is a cop near by (who will try to bust you if he sees you jacking a car). Cops will simply bust you, take your weapons and some of your money as a brige, and simply release you for even the most henious offenses (such as going on rampages). And when you get released, you can do more crimes as well, with the same results. Imagine doing that stuff in real life. You would probably go to jail for a very long time (or worse depending on the offense) for similar crimes committed in real life. If your guy dies, he will simply respawn at a nearby hospital. In GTA San Andreas, you can have up to 6 girlfriends at a time without having to worry about them getting jealous. In real life, trying to take on multiple girlfriends is quite risky as they do get jealous (at least from a guy's perspective of course), and even the slightest form of disloyalty (such as cheating) can lead to disastrous results on a relationship, as was the case for Scott towards the end of the third season of the reality TV series, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" when Kourtney learns that Scott was cheating on her (though luckily for him,
the two seemed to have gotten back together by season 4). And plenty of other odd stuff that you can't really expect to get away with in real life. Game 2- Fight to the death in the Mortal Kombat SeriesIf any game were to take after the infamous gladiators events during the days of ancient Rome (where people fight each other to the death), it would probably be the Mortal Kombat series. On the surface, Mortal Kombat takes after similar fighting games, such as Street Fighter 2, where two opponents fight each other in matches consisting of three rounds, with the opponent winning at least 2 out of three rounds being the victor of the match. Usually, the loser simply gets knocked out in his/her losing round, with the winner moving onto the next level. However, in the Mortal Kombat series, there is a whole new twist to fighting: the winner of each match has the option of terminating his or her opponent using special finisher moves called, fatalities. If you have played any of the Mortal Kombat games, you would know that when you knock out your opponent during the final round of a match, the announcer (presumably Shao Kahn in most games) will say "Finish Him!" (or her if your opponent is a female character). When this happens, if you have five seconds or so (some games have cheat codes that allow you to disable the fatality timer if you want extra time to pull it off) to finish off your opponent by entering a certain button combination in the right sequence and in the right distance within the time frame (the exact move does vary by fighter by the way. Pulling a fatality (or similar move, such as animalities, friendships, etc) can be tricky at first, but if it is done correctly, a special tune usually plays, the screen goes dark, and your character will do a special move that basically finishes off his/her opponent. Each character has their own fatalities, by the way (Scorpion, for example takes off his "mask" and hurles fireballs at his defeated foe, while Sonya will blow a kiss of death at her foe that incinerates him/her instantly). The list of fatality moves goes on and on (some people have posted fatality demonstrations on YouTube by the way if you are curious about all of the moves), but you get the picture. By the way, if you prefer not to do fatalities, you could always do a friendship move (where your character "befriends" his/her foe), a babality (where your opponent gets turned into an infant), or even simply knock out your opponent with an uppercut. Despite the obvious dark nature to the Mortal Kombat saga, the games have been quite popular as there have been many sequels in the series (my favorite is probably Mortal Kombat Trillogy), several movies produced (with the latest one being Mortal Kombat Armageddon), a short lived cartoon series, as well as sound tracks released. Of course, this game is probably not recommended to the younger audience or people that are easily offended as these games definiately has death matches in them (similar to MTV's Celebrity Death Match). Similar games: Killer InstinctGame #3 - Play "God" Sims 2 (and most other games in the series)I don't want to sound blasphemous (I am a Christian by the way), but do you ever wonder what it might be like to play God for a day? It might sound wiered, but in SIms 2 (and similar games), you will pretty much be doing that. Sims 2 is an open ended game for the PC (though there are also versions on the consoles, such as Play Station 2) where you build a virtual home in a virtual community, along with creating a simulated family (consisting of a mother, father, kids, etc) that you will help manage as you play through the game. Sim families function much like a typical family you would see at least here in America: they work, have emotions, go to school (if they are sim kids), do chores, socialize with other sims, get into relationships, sleep, relax, watch TV, build skills for a job or career they have, and sometimes even raise a dog or cat (at least in Sims 2 Pets). You could simply watch them live out life and make their own choices, or you can
intervine and give them stuff to do. For example, if they need to go to bed at a certain time in order to get to work or school on time and they are say watching TV, you could put it in their minds to go to bed, and usually they will. Maybe there is a person that you want your sim to meet or interact with, you can have your character strike up a conversation with another (complete with dalogue options of course, allowing you to choose how they interact with each other). Or maybe you need to help the sim keep their motives up (such as having them eat when their hunger stats are low, using the bathroom when their bladder stats get low, interating with other sims when depressed, etc). Of course, as "God" in their world, you can also take after Satan and abuse your powers and ruin the lives of your sims. Here is a breakdown of some funny and twisted stuff you can do to your sims:Cause a sim to become a jerk around other sims. Whenever you have your sim strike up a conversation with another sim, dialogue options will open up, and while you can make your guy or girl friendly, you can also cause him/her to say and do things to be mean (such as insulting others, slapping others, tell lies, gossiping about other sims, or even picking a fight). By the way, be careful about creating fights between family sims as some sims will move out if they take too much abuse from other sims. Sit back and do nothing. Usually the sim(s) will make bad choices and suffer the consequences for it (for example, if he/she misses work too often, he/she will get fired). Allow kids to get bad grades in school (usually happens by allowing them to skip the school bus when it comes). The only downside to this is that they can be sent to military school if their grades get too low. Kill off a sim. One way you can do this is simply by letting him/her to starve to death. Of course, there are plenty of other ways for a sim to die (such as electrocution, drowning in pools, getting scared to death by ghosts, etc). Once a sim dies, beware of the fact that they can come back as ghosts and haunt your sim family (by the way, in Sims 2, one can get scared to death if their mood is too low when the ghost is active in the house). By the way, one funny thing you can do in the PS2 version of Sims 2 is that you can actually control the ghosts, which can be quite hilarious as you can scare other sims, possess them, and even cause them to behave erratically (such as throwing up). Cause your sim(s) to get abducted by aliens. Usually happens if they look into a telescope at night too often. By the way, in SIms 2 for the PC, there is actually a cheat I found a while back that allows your sim to get abducted at will instead of by random and even caused my entire sim family to get abducted by aliens as well). If you are a control freak, you can also turn off free will (it is usually on by default) and bend them to your will. Can be useful when dealing with a stubborn sim that won't listen to you when you give them a tas k to do (no matter how foolish it is). The list goes on, but as you can see, Sims 2 can be quite twisted when you think of it and yet it has been quite popular especially among the younger audience, and has spawned many sequels (including Sims 3), YouTube videos, as well as console versions of the game which tend to be a bit different from the PC versions (in the PSP version of Sims 2, for example, the game is more of a roleplaying game where you control this dude who finds himself in Strangetown, a desert city that has lots of paranormal happenings in it, and go on a quest to stop an evil genius from taking over the city and escape the ghosts and aliens infested town).Game 4 - Play as Alien Invaders in "Destroy All Humans!"Games involving aliens have been quite popular probably since the days of Atari (such as Space Invaders) and have evolved quite a bit since then. There have been plenty of different games and even films in this genre, with titles you are probably familiar with including: Space Invaders, the Simpsons Game (Kang and Kronos launch an alien
invasion near the midpoint of the game), Independence Day, the Star Wars and Star Trek sagas (not all of the alien race are hostile in Star Wars or Star Trek, of course), Aliens vs Predator, the Contra series, as well as even the Halo series (where you get a hostile alien race bent on wiping out the entire human race). Usually you fight against the aliens, however in "Destroy All Humans", you actually get to play as the aliens themselves, controlling an alien named, Crypto who is a part of the Furon empire, an alien race that wants to acquire human brains for some odd reason. The game is pretty big and spans many missions, starting with Crypto crash landing in farmlands and terrorizing both cows and farmers alike, and later with Crypto launching a full scale invasions against towns and cities. And yes, you do play as the bad guys in this game as your job is to conquer Earth (particularly North America as the game is centered in the United States). Besides terrorizing civilians, you can also take on human form and blend in with the crowd (can be useful for infiltration missions, for example), go up against government agents (such as the "men in black"), do mind control on people, making them do as you wish, razing villages with your flying saucer, as well as taking on huge bosses that try to stop you in your invasion (which is natural of course when you are controlling a hostile alien race bent on the destruction of the world). Despite the twisted nature of this game, it can be quite humorous when Crypto goes on rampages, along with creating hysteria among citizens, harassed cows, destroys buildings using his saucer, as well as battling government agents trying to stop Crypto. Similar games: Alien Homid and OverlordGame 5 - Conker's Bad Fur Day (also known as Conker's Live and Reloaded if you have played the Xbox version)Platform games have been popular probably since the debut of Mario Bros in the 1980's, and have spawned many popluar titles in the genre, with hit titles including: Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog, Kirby, Castlevania, Crash Bandacoot, the Mega Man series, as well as the SImpsons Game. Many of these games have similar themes: you play through different levels in various kinds of terrain, go up against an evil villain and his/her cronies (such as Dr Robotnik in the Sonic the Hedgehog series), fight plenty of huge bosses (usually cronies and close associates of the evil genius, unless if you are on the final showdown), and save the day (such as recuing Princes Peach from Bowser in Super Mario Bros). Most of these games are obviously geared more towards the younger audience (barring some games, such as the newer Castlevania games given the "M" ratings on some of the newer titles, such as "Curse of Darkness"), especially in the case of games like Mario Bros and Sonic, where kids will usually play these games more than adults do. Anyways, with that said, there another platform game that I have played through that is quite twisted when you think of it: "Conker's Bad Fur Day" (I played the Xbox version by the way). Conker's Bad Fur Day appears to be a typical 3D platform game (Super Mario 64 style), complete with a storyline, boss fights, an evil genius to defeat (namely the Panther King), and many colorful stages to play through. However, if you have checked the rating for the game, you would probably see the "M" rating. That is because Conker's Bad Fur day is pretty much a platformer that is geared more towards an older audience. Here are some features in this game you will usually not find in most other games in this genre:Most of the characters swear (though in some versions, the swearing is censored by a beeping voice when they swear). There are some crude levels in the game. In one area in the game, for example, there is a poop themed level where you are surrounded by poop and one of the bosses you fight in this area is literally one giant piece of poop (his voice actually reminds you of that of Christopher Lee, with the heavy British accent, though he is actually voiced by another guy named Chris
Marlow). There are some sensual scenes in the game. In one level, for example, you have to help a bee "pollenate" a feminine sunflower plant. Also, Conker does have a girlfriend, named Berrie, who gets kidnapped by the Panther King. There is a grim reaper in the game that wants to kill cats for some odd reasons (his voice is somewhat funny as well). Alcoholism does play a role in this game. At the beginning of the game, Conker has a nasty hangover after a night of drinking beer before the story officially begins. Also, alcohol is a powerup that Conker can use in the game that causes him to get drunk and urinate on foes (funny and crude if you ask me). There are plenty of other adult themes in this game (though I won't list them all), but you get the picture. This wacky game is sure to both offend some people (for example, if you are a kid, this is certainly not a game you would want to play with your parents near by) and make other laugh.Well, there you go, those are some of the most twisted and yet surprisingly fun and sometimes popular games I have seen throughout my gaming career. Obviously there are more titles I haven't mentioned (such as Overlord, Bully, etc) but, you are welcome to add to this list if you want to and feel free to comment on this article as you are free to agree or disagree with me.

The original was actually based loosely on the fatal frame series, and the idea I had was a horror roleplay based off of one twin being sacrificed to the other side for the sake of having an open bridge to the spirits, but since it was considered "rare" they took advantage of it. Some gross fuck stole some of my writing and now ive been branded the same person as them
UGH I am so sorry anon because I fuckin LOVE FATAL FRAME and that is a sickass idea.
Honestly?
I am so sorry that this happened and I’m so disgusted for you and everyone affected by this.
