So I got back into Sander Sides, so I put the sides into some of my fav horror games (except for Resident Evil, none of them felt like they would fit there). Think of these as AUs for each side.
Tumblr media
I decided to put Patton into Haunting Ground, although Roman would've also fit I had other plans for him.
Tumblr media
I put Roman and Remus into Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly, they are teens here.
Tumblr media
I put Virgil and Janus into White Day: A Labyrinth Named School and I have my reasons for putting them in this game.
Tumblr media
I put Logan into Silent Hill 2, I have specific reasons and that'll take explaining how the town of Silent Hill works in Silent Hill 2.
Again I have my own reasons but I do want to see why you guys think I put the sides into these specific games before I explain my reasons. Also take into account everyone has a companion except for Logan.

Gravity Falls Thoughts: Crimson Butterfly
I've recently been reminded of the game Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly.
Tumblr media
For anyone unfamiliar, Fatal Frame is a Japanese horror game franchise centered around the use of a supernatural camera called the Camera Obscura to take pictures of ghosts. I'm not going to go into full detail about the franchise, just a specific aspect of the second installment.
In Crimson Butterfly, there is a heavy importance of the existence of twins (specifically identical ones) in Minakami Village...you can see why I'm talking about it here. In fact, the main characters are a pair of twin sisters.
Tumblr media
One thing I remembered the most about this was that the villagers of Minakami believed that the first born child was really the 'younger' one because the the second born (the 'older' one) was stronger and pushed the 'younger' one out.
Now, I can't help but think of a conversation between Stan and Ford about this concept. You know damn sure that Stan would just eat it up and Ford is having none of it.
Stan: Ha! Would you look at that, Sixer! According to this place, I'm the older twin here. Ford: You do realize that this belief is only perceived here, in this small village. Stan: Killjoy.
...And now, I am imagining a story where the Stans stumble upon a village like Minakami with its beliefs and rituals (or that it is Minakami if they sailed to Japan) and gets roped into what happens...which wouldn't bode well for them if you're familiar with more of the Crimson Butterfly lore.

So I was playing this PS2 game called Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (零 紅い蝶) which is a survival horror game and a sequel to the first Fatal Frame game. The game was developed by Tecmo who also published the US and Japanese version, Ubisoft published the PAL PS2 version, and Microsoft Game Studios published the Original Xbox version, the game was released on November 27, 2003 for the Japanese PS2 version, December 10, 2003 for the US PS2 version, and April 30, 2004 for the PAL PS2 version. Meanwhile the Xbox version was released on November 1, 2004 in the US, November 11, 2004 for the Japanese Xbox version, and February 4, 2005 for the PAL Xbox version. Also I had this idea were Bitsy from SuperKitties and Koppa from Shiren the Wanderer meeting Mio Amakura and Mayu Amakura from Fatal Frame, mostly because I think it would be really interesting seeing Bitsy meet up with Mio Amakura and Koppa meet up with Mayu Amakura.
