It's been a while since there's been a mini comic, hasn't it?

This silly one was waiting in the wings, when it would be possible to de-anonize. I drew him for the Winter Fandom Battle 2024 on AO3 as a member of the Corazon team.

Generations and musical tastes.

Modern AU, where Rocinante is a child of the 80s and Law is a child of the late 90s. The best way to brighten up a long journey is with a good song. But which one?

My silly-funny AU comic where Rocinante decides to save two troubled boys (bosom friends) from the harmful influence of his brother. How did they end up in the North Blue? I didn't even try to come up with it :) Why did Roci make such a decision? According to my head canon, Kid also has the initial "D" in his name. And Killer just in fact very much resembles someone in childhood. Double bingo.

But it seems that this someone miscalculated his strength a little. That moment, familiar to every parent of siblings, when two is too many. And too loud!

And yes, I know that Killer is 4 years older than Kid, but I made him a little younger in the comic for the dynamics of the plot. Don't take it seriously :))

Двойное бинго.

Но, кажется, этот кое-кто немножко не рассчитал свои силы. Тот момент, знакомый каждому родителю сиблингов, когда двое — это уже слишком много. И слишком громко.

И да, я знаю, что Киллер старше Кида на 4 года, но я сделала его в комиксе чуть младше, для динамики сюжета.

My first attempt to draw something like this. A short comics from the story of Law and Cora's journey. I've been thinking about dogs a lot lately, after I recently heartily petted a couple of shaggy cuties. So I even dreamed about this plot.

For some reason, it seems like Rocinante loves dogs, based by the one-page story from cover where Rocinante shares food with a little stray dog. But Law avoids them, and perhaps is afraid. But all fears fade away when you have such a protector.

I went a little overboard with the white marker, so please understand and forgive me. I still have to study and study again( I want to learn how to draw something of my own, and not just redraw something ready-made. So I hope I will succeed little by little.

It took them much longer to arrive than expected. Of course, all this was started solely for the sake of redrawing the art with Law and Corazon. I love these official arts, especially the way Cora-san looks at his charge. By the way, the art with Rocinante served as the basis for my lovely tattoo, so I simply had to try to redraw it! ☺️

And a something like a drawing process :)

Let me add silly fanart to my previous analysis-comparison of two stories: One piece and Trigun:) How much do these guys have in common?

I like that in the remake of Trigun Stampede 2023 backstory was added to Nicholas from original manga. There he was forcibly made an modified super soldier-asassin and almost a super-human.
