Watched #JurassicWorldDominion at my local #VueCinemas (@vue) Have to say, I enjoyed it. Bringing to an end the series (for now at least), and does a helluva better job at sticking the landing and tying up a series than say Rise Of Skywalker did IMO! To be honest, my expectations were never too high, especially after #FallenKingdom, and although I did see the prologue that was released online a while back, knew next to nothing about this movie going in. As a result, it was an enjoyable big, dumb popcorn blockbuster of a movie, that breezes through at a brisk pace, throwing the cast into one dino calamity after another, as well as some of the antagonists meeting typically gruesome ends. It also brings together the main cast of the World trilogy with the main cast of the original. The banter between #SamNeill's #AlanGrant and #LauraDern's #EllieSatler was good with #JeffGoldblum being. of course, Jeff Goldblum, and reflected the lighter tone of the movie, whereas #ChrisPratt's Owen & #BryceDallasHoward's Claire indulged in the more dangerous escapades. A few callbacks to the original, some more on the nose than others, but I kind of expect that with certain movies these days. The dinos looked pretty cool, with a few new spieces added to the usual mix of what we've had before, and new locales. Keep your expectations in check and it's a fun, action adventure dino movie for fans of the series.
