guys ngl. i am at my limit

#i hate feeling like im stupid because i cant do online class for the third year in a row #and im not even in college or uni so it doesnt feel like im actually getting anywhere or doing something that matters #its just the same fucking thing every day and it has been for years #and there arent even little things that make it okay there is quite literally nothing good in my life rn and there hasnt been for months #i cant even go to school in the fall no matter if i get in or not and because of that im so unmotivated and tired #im trying really hard to stay positive but its hard when you have no one in your life #love my online friends obvi but its not what i need rn i need people i get along with and can be myself around in person #but im trapped here #and theres nothing i can do about it #and sorry for the personal rant but i feel like shit

i'll be taking a class on persuasion and a class on communication & gender. here's hoping they dont suck ass.

#speculation nation #knocking out the last 2 classes for my communications minor this fall #and hopefully i'll get approved for the 4th class so i can take 4 classes in the fall (easier classes)#so my spring (which will be tech-heavier) will be Hopefully lighter. we'll see.#between tech and com the com classes r much easier to bullshit lol #will i actually learn anything? who knows! i certainly didnt learn a single thing in my intro to com theory class #but i still managed to get a C+ lol. wild considering i didnt go to a single class of that #(online class. i was bullshitting HARD and i still managed to pass. realized my math was wrong for how many credits i need and i need 2 more credits in any elective so i've just been looking through for the funniest classes to take. rn i've found an online walking class. where you walk. but it's an online class. it's worth 2 credits i might do it

#also found that u can take a self defense class for a single credit #there's also a weed science class and honestly i don't know if they're talking abt drugs or like plants but that's funny #there's also a baking class that only meets once a week for like 6 hours into the night ?#wild stuff but they don't have my beloved beekeeping class that i wouldn't've been able to take anyway but it makes me sad #after a lot of thought i've decided to take a poetry class #i like poetry it's fun i think i'll like it #more work for me though i'm taking a lot of classes in the fall and like 3 in the summer but it'll be cool i think and a lot of them #are half a semester classes so it'll be fineee it'll be okay i'll be great and then i'll graduate and then i'll figure smth else out ig #it has been pointed out to me that i don't *have to* go straight into grad school but also i don't think there are any good jobs to get w #just a psych bachelors. i've been considering an online grad school bc i'm like so tired and i don't want to live in dorms and i don't care #for the psych graduate degrees my current school offers :/#ugh whatever it's annoying to think abt anyway today i slept like 10 hours and i just got up a few hours ago but i'm still tired i kinda #want to take a nap but i have school boooo i should be allowed to sleep 16 hours every day but apparently that's not possible without #sacrifices that will ruin my future or whatever idk i think just for me they should make days like 36 hours so i can sleep and get #stuff done i think i deserve that

#saint.txt #that was a real bad year and a half I'm sorry to everyone who knew me #I have nobody helping me w/ financials so mayhap 5 classes and a job to pay my bills was a mite bit of a bad idea #but even on three + job I struggled. and I was doing sciences and did not have the time to catch up on the basics #of stuff like chem bc I have been out of high school for ages and the courses are not designed for mature students #who do not remember high school content at all and also have lives outside of classes #and I struggle w/ basic math on a good day bc my brain just cannot interpret numbers so.#(three was the minimum to keep full-time student status)#moving onto online classes + different diploma next fall which hopefully? will free up more time for me to be less worried #abt not being able to pay my rent and shit #I also had a lot going on at home at the time which Did Not Help

they really just. spent paragraphs hyping up revolve for a specific event that STRANDED INFLUENCERS IN THE DESERT JKL;SDFLJK. but this is how they talk about it

and for a bonus bad look, though this controversy was enough years ago that MAYBE they've incorporated more diversity into their promotion since then...

revolve got in trouble for having exclusively thin white influencers showcased from their brand trips in ~2018.

i miss online classes precovid and by that i specifically mean online classes without a zoom lecture component that im meant to attend like an online class thats just independent reading and discussions and projects and quizzes right. i like that kind of a lot even though whenever i’ve taken an online class that way i dont retain the information longterm but its a good way for me to knockout credits. but zoom lectures are miserable to me. i cant do it. i would rather toil and work hard at an inperson class than float by for my zoom lecture class. which kind of says a lot bc i dont really like to work hard especially with school. like i just dont want to be on zoom every week for class
