Little announcement!
Hey guys! I just have something to announce that might be relevant regarding what to expect from my content from now on...
Well, as part of my new year's resolution, I won't be focusing solely on Undertale as an artist anymore. :"3
Don't get me wrong! I'm absolutely NOT leaving the fandom!
I don't think I ever could.
(summarized version is that I'll be indulging my own fluctuating interests from now on in other fandoms and original works. More under the cut!)
It's just that I'm trying to be more free spirited, so as to no longer feel as if I have an obligation (not like I ever did but brain brains wrong lol), my art and posts from now on should be less frequent and regarding whatever new hyper fixations I am harboring at the time!
I want to expand my artistic horizons and portfolio a bit. So things should become more random around here as to whatever has grabbed my interest.
Overall this is me indulging myself more for 2024.

Allowing my other interests to shine through a little bit, as opposed to popular demand, albeit imaginary.
Does this mean no more Undertale on the blog?
Of course not!
Again, I'm not leaving this fandom. It is an important part of who I am at this point, and helped me a lot with many of my skills! I will continue to occasionally post Undertale/Deltarune content!

Again. This game has a permanent spot on my heart.
I simply dislike leaving things unexplained that's all. A sudden change of content out of nowhere seems unfair to do without some kind of warning to me.
Oh. Okay then! But, if you're not leaving, then why'd you make this post?
Don't be shy to still tag me about Undertale stuff, or ask about my Undertale characters still if you'd like! But I do ask that art requests are avoided.
(commission, which I plan to open this year, will still very much include Undertale as one of my specialities though. Again, more than three years of experience here!)
This warning is, therefore, valid from here on. Whatever I decide to go with, this isn't a [thing]-specific blog. It may change according to my interests!

I guess Haze (Xenoblade 2) also counts, but honestly, I really understand why people don't pay her much attention. It's me who has an unreasonable tendency to get attached to nice girls who exist to get killed off\fridged to make a point, but god, her design was awesome. gender goals lowkey even to this day

Falcom fans need to play Falcom games that a) are neither Ys nor Trails and b) were originally released before 2014
Hades fans need to play Supergiant's older games
ESPECIALLY PYRE, PYRE IS SO SLEPT ON, IT GETS ITS OWN BULLET POINT!!
Dual Destinies\Spirit of Justice are far from perfect games and it's admittedly fair to hate them, but they had a fair amount of interesting ideas that should not be slept on (i.e. I daresay I think the idea of Apollo living abroad is interesting and just was executed like dogshit)
this isn't exactly 'sleeping on' and more blatant ignorance, but canon non-binary characters (i.e. the Undertale\Deltarune kids and A Xenoblade) having their identity ignored is awful

I don't know if you're looking for anything specific but- I enjoy this blog! I like all the AUs and Art that come from this blog, it's really awesome!
Thank you! I'm glad people like my art. It's just hard for me to tell sometimes, since I can't pick up on social queues very well. Gotta be straight forward I guess.
Fun fact! The whole reason I run the blog the way I do (A drawing for every public ask, rebloging a bunch of stuff, giving advice, ect) is because of how much the Undertale fandom did for me. I literally wouldn't be here or anywhere without it.
Yeah, it has its ups and downs but it helped me realize how much I love character design! How much I love making stories and characters and all sorts of lore. AUs helped me expand my horizon.
It took a bit of time but I finally understood terms like Nonbinary and Transgender. It helped me open my eyes to infinite potential and all the amazing and different people out in the world! That we're but a drop in a sea of individuality that can be so interesting.
Toby Fox's work helped me realize I wanted to make video games and art for a living. His characters helped shape how I view myself and others. I made friends! So many wonderful friends. [Hi Bimf!!!! >w<]
Now that Deltarune is here and it's still very much the beginning of its lifespan, I want to give back to the people. To the community. I want to inspire future artists, wrighters, musicians, game designers, the works!
I want to give people a safe place to ask questions. To get advice. Not everyone knows what I know. Not everyone knows what you know. We don't know what everyone else knows. I wanted to make a place where our knowledge and ideas could come together under the umbrella of our beloved game, Deltarune.
That's why I changed my little Swaprune AU blog into a general Deltarune blog. I want to be apart of Deltarune's fandom history. If not by my own achievements, then by inspiring the next big creator. That's why I draw, make aus, give out things at events.
Toby Fox and his community has done so so much for me. I want to do things for you all as well. :)

DELTARUNE THEORY: Susie’s Home Life
Well I mean. Not really anything major. Eh.
A lot of people have speculated just based on Chapter 1 that Susie has a bad home life, with all the implications that she doesn’t eat. We see again in Chapter 2 that Susie is always hungry and doesn’t want to call her Parents. This could lead to that same conclusion, but also like.
I’m starting to think Susie might just be homeless.
Sure the small size of the town is somewhat of an abstraction for the videogame format, but it is notable that we don’t see Susie’s house, and she makes no comment on the apartment buildings. There are still buildings that are just slightly off screen we can’t interact with, but the only way I can really see the town map expanding are Noelle’s house, where Susie obviously doesn’t live, and maybe we’ll go past the police tape eventually. Who knows.
Here’s a throwaway line from Chapter 1 that probably doesn’t mean anything but it slots really well into this train of thought.
I mean, what else would a house be to her if she didn’t have one?
Now is there anything that goes against this, off the top of my head... Kinda, yeah. In a roundabout way.
Clam Girl from Undertale, who was added in a patch to tie in to Deltarune coming up on the horizon, mentions her neighbor’s daughter, Suzy. This would imply Susie has some sort of parent but... “Suzy” not being “Susie” feels intentional, given the fact that Deltarune was written before Undertale to begin with. But I’ll be fucked if I have a theory on what that means, because I don’t.
I was gonna end this post with the funny picture but that came to mind. If I have any more theories I’ll letcha know good buddy good pal.

nightly tsg thoughts, dw satsuki is just chilling and playing deltarune
natsuki getting me to slow down and appreciate the things around me instead of hyper-processing everything and moving on immediately 😥
when we go on a date and im really enjoying what we’re doing (museum, shopping, etc.) he reassures that i dont have to worry about it ending too soon and lets me know when he wants to do something else or that i’m not boring him
if he’s really excited abt smth and wants to ramble, its so precious. his eyes light up and i usually hold his hand to stop him from falling over from flailing and rocking from excitement
sometimes when he doesnt feel like talking he just tugs at my shirt or hold his arms out and i know it means hes tired/upset and just wants some attention ;__; oh man oh man when he follows me around quietly and helps me with stuff i appreciate it so much and he likes being next to me bc i make him feel okay
either of us wanting to try smth new and subtley suggesting it to the other to see how we feel, only to get approval anyways bc we want to push each other to expand our horizons
ok nothing will ever be as funny to me as natsuki picking up a vulgar saying/meme i keep quoting by accident and i get my ass beat by satsuki /lh (natsuki, to a bird: “nice cock!” me: 👁👁💧 satsuki, hand on my shoulder: “nana.”)
obv yes natsuki is an adult he can say what he wants but he doesnt swear, so it would probably slip out
natsuki loves headpats, he instantly relaxes and it makes him very happy :)
he also gets very blushy if i pick him up and spin him out of excitement 🥺 i usually get excited if he carries me around bc i can hold on tight and he’d be perfectly fine
in public, if he notices people staring for whatever reason he likes to calmly and smoothly position our hands to where our rings are showing off and he even flirts a little to catch me off guard AAAAAA

Ah, it was that time of the year again. Time for the Annual Multiversal Convention™. Skeletons, fallen humans, fish ladies, large goats and more from all walks of life squeeze into a convention hall building to trade stories and expand their horizons.
Currently, classic and swap Napstablook were DJing the main hall while throngs of monsters mingled about, almost everyone clearly enjoying themselves–some more than others. A pack of Charas chased each other around the hall, seemingly playing tag, while Fell Toriel screeched at them to be more careful and not get hurt. A troop of Monster Kids followed close behind them. Chaos ran supreme during these meetups.
As Sans crammed his way through the heavy crowds, he glimpsed a clone of himself talking to Red and caught the tail end of their conversation.
“…i already ‘befriended’ your brother last night.”
The only response was snarls as Red lunged at DR Sans with the intent to throttle him. But DR simply dodged and waddled away towards Classic Sans, leaving Edge to restrain his brother and rein in his rage.
“hehehehe,” Classic chuckled, studying the other conspiratorially. “nice one. but i think you just permanently incurred The Wrath of Red©.”
The other Sans shrugged. “eh, it was worth it.”
“so anyway, which part are you gonna play in the Underground History Month Production–ya know, the play the robots put on every year to showcase the story of each universe. your universe is featured this time.”
“eh. i’m not really sure. maybe i’ll play lancer or susie. mix it up a bit.”
Classic grinned knowingly. “just be you. no one else can.”
DR swiveled his head around, eyeing all the other Sanses milling about. “Sounds fake but okay–”
They didn’t get to finish their conversation, for at that moment, Red broke out of his brother’s stronghold and leaped at DR with renewed fury. “YOU DIRTY BROTHER FUC—”

THREE YEARS A FOO
(obligatory up top because it’s one of my favorite gifs honestly)
Holy crap! It's been three years, my dudes. On the night between Jan 21st and 22nd in the year of our lord 2016, I came across a piece of Billford fanart that had been inspired by That One Screenshot from the series finale teaser. It was 5 AM, and I'd had one Irish Coffee too many that night. The rest is awful, shameful, godless history.
(Seriously tho, even though reading my first drabble makes me more than a little uncomfortable these days, I forgive myself for every single dumb thing that has gotten me where I am now.)
So far, I've had an annual 100k-word writing quota that I've successfully filled each year of my active time as a content creator. This past year I fell around 10k words short of that goal. I could've easily taken the time to reach it, but a couple of weeks ago I made the conscious choice not to. Ima tell you why.
So recently I had a serious case of the flu, right? Here's an interesting fact about Foo: I love being sick. The main reason for this is that when I have a high fever, my train of thought is something I can only imagine it must be for neurotypical folks. Straightforward, unconvoluted, and all the priorities in the right place. So, while bedridden, I found myself reminiscing my early days of fandom participation, back when it was less a responsibility or an ideological mission, and more just plain fun.
Then I thought, "hang on. Something's not right here. When the hell did I ever decide it should be anything beyond a fun pastime? That's just crazy, bucko."
I think I can finally allow myself to be honest about how stressful my self-imposed quotas and deadlines and whatnot are to me at this point. Don't get me wrong - there hasn't been a single instance when writing was anything less than fun and rewarding. But it's also been stressful. You know how I sometimes say my whole life basically revolves around Blood Chains? How I've postponed getting back to my masters until after I finish the fic? Yeah.
(Also, since honesty is the name of the game here - for years, I've put myself under the delusion that my activity as a writer is the decisive factor in keeping my readerbase together. In the past years, I've witnessed some of my favorite longtime readers leave the audience in quiet despite all my efforts for keeping up regular chapter updates and so on. I won't deny that I miss them dearly, even though on the flipside the story has caught the attention of incredible new readers, all of whom I'm endlessly fond of and grateful for. Suffice to say I've had to realize that the fandom as a whole is quieting down regardless of my own contributions, and I really should stop pushing myself by that account at the very least.)
So here comes the bottom line! Do not worry, my dudes - I am still more than dedicated to finishing my ongoing projects and taking on new ones, just as I have done up until now. But I do intend to lessen the needless pressure I put on myself in regard to fanwork and my own commitment, regularity-wise. I will try to cut the worst edge off my delusions of being in debt to the fandom as a whole. That being said, I will always, always dedicate myself to those who find value in my work.
Here's what this means in practice:
Although I made it sound like my activity is likely to drop, it probably won't drop at all! I will simply be operating without specified deadlines and quotas, and sort of just do things as I go.
As a despairing attempt to deal with the inevitable fact that Blood Chains only has six chapters and an epilogue left, story updates will probably happen one in two months from now on. So, uh, continuing at the more or less established pace, I guess?
Odds are I'm gonna gradually start expanding my horizons fandom-wise! I'm hella digging things like Deltarune, Life Is Strange and The West Wing right now, and I really enjoyed making the Susie figure. So content from other fandoms might happen. However,
this blog will remain Gravity Falls-oriented, and so will my fan content. I'll just be growing some side branches is all.
uhhhh also it's looking a lot like I'll finally stop being ridiculous over a goddamn fanfic and go back to university next fall! That's the current looks of it. :D
Last of all, I'm finally starting to feel like not jumping off the balcony when I eventually write the last sentences of Blood Chains and click "post". So that's definitely an improvement.
In conclusion, and most importantly: thank you, all of you. This fandom's been an experience beyond words so far, and I've no doubt it will persevere as such from here on out as well.
Also, and this is super important as well: I'm here for you guys, so by all means, hit me up with any and all requests and ideas you might have for my future content! Seriously, hold nothing back. Prompts and collabs have always been my absolute jam. :D
