Plant of the Day
Saturday 5 November 2022
The compact ornamental grass cultivar Miscanthus sinensis 'Starlight' (eulalia) is free-flowering. It is ideal for block planting to provide a display of feathery arching inflorescences in the autumn.

spoilers for the missing of clairdelune + the last two books of the series !
still rereading the second book, and i finally understand why Ophelia could see into Eulalia’s past LOL
when she read the knife shard in the book, she went so far back into the past that she became apart of her old body (at least that's what I’m saying, since I’m actually assuming that she just changed slightly and not entirely what she looked like before letting the Other out.) in the book it says,
“ Ophelia had become someone else without even noticing it, as if she’d simply slipped into an older skin of her own, as if it were her, her in person in this bygone time, who was leaning over the young Farouk. ”
so, I’m guessing this reading doubled with Ophelia and Thorn then getting married soon after, and having the sharing of family powers, that her memory intertwined with Eulalia’s so that’s why she started to recall it. Maybe the reading she did for Farouk triggered Eulalia’s. But this is just a thought i could def be wrong 🙃

Reskate Studio’s new mural that glows in the dark
Harreman is the Reskate Studio project that for years has been bringing unique mural works to walls all over Europe, which only reveal themselves in the dark. The photoluminescent paint used by María López and Javier de Riba creates incredible images, capable of breaking up the urban landscape and thanks to its glow.
The latest work presented by Reskate Studio is entitled “Eulalia” and depicts a girl immersed in water, with her torso – the only part visible during the day – to which a vase containing a plant is clutched.
‘Eulalia‘, created between 2022 and 2023, is painted in Mérida, a town in Extremadura (Spain), and is surrounded by white residential buildings.
