The EU parliament elections are coming up in June this year so now is a great time to make it clear that you will be using your vote to support Palestine so if they want office they better be vocal about where their priorities lie

The Parliament adopted a legislative initiative report that seeks to overhaul the rules for European elections. The draft legislative act was approved by 323 votes to 262.
“This reform will increase the visibility of European political parties and will enable them (and especially their candidates on the EU-wide lists) to campaign across the EU, so that we can create a real pan-European debate,” explained Domènec Ruiz Devesa, a Spanish progressive MEP.
“People will know they are voting for European political entities and lead candidates for Commission President,” he added.
The parliament’s proposal would mean that each voter would have two votes: one to elect MEPs in national constituencies, and one in an EU-wide constituency, composed of 28 additional seats.
[...]
Nonetheless, considering the size differences between different EU states, maintaining balance is a challenge, as 10% of the votes in Germany for a specific candidate could carry the same weight as 100% of votes from multiple smaller EU countries.
Thus, member states will be grouped into three groups depending on their population sizes. To ensure proportionality, candidates would be evenly divided.
This retains the degressive proportionality used by the European Parliament today, with Malta receiving more votes in the parliament on a per capita basis than Germany.
Similarly, German votes will be subject to a 3.5% threshold. In order for German votes to be counted, more than 3.5% of voters must vote for a single candidate. Other EU countries will not be similarly restricted.

Italian PM Meloni announces her candidacy at EU elections in June
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced on Sunday that she will run in June’s European elections in a bid to boost support for her Brothers of Italy party, according to Reuters.
Giorgia Meloni’s party is Italy’s most popular with 27 per cent support, ahead of the opposition Democratic Party (PD) with about 20 per cent and the left-wing 5 Star Movement with 16 per cent. Her Brothers of Italy party has its origins in Benito Mussolini’s fascist group.
She will be the first name on the ballot paper from the Brothers of Italy party in all five Italian constituencies in the EU elections, but has promised she will not use any minute of her time as prime minister to campaign.
“We want to do in Europe what we did in Italy … create a majority that brings together the centre-right forces and send the left into opposition,” Meloni told cheering party supporters at a conference in the coastal city of Pescara.
Meloni called for Italy to leave the eurozone when she was in opposition, and her election in 2022 has caused concern in some European capitals. However, in office she has maintained a generally pro-European, orthodox line, especially on foreign policy issues such as Ukraine and the Middle East.

PEOPLE FROM THE EU
On the coming European Parliament elections of this year please research the plans of every party and only vote for those that support Palestine.
The Proggressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats is one of these.
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PARLIAMENT SUPPORTS PALESTINE
Especially with the pro-Zionist Germany and France around, it is vital to apply pressure to the European parliament

It's the Dutch national elections today!
And I'm working at the polls.
So, for y'all non-Dutch ppl here, this is what our ballots look like:
Tumblr media
You vote for one specific candidate. The longests lists are from VVD and D66 and they consist of no less than 80 people.
Unfortunately I have no cat for reference scale but it's ginormous. I've seen a lot of ppl struggle with folding it.
So far the turnout has been great at my station and we haven't even hit the evening rush yet. The polls suggest more than 50% of voters are unsure who to vote for, so turnout is probably gonna go up by Quite A Bit as it gets dark.
Pssst, Nederlandse tumblrinas, hier een tip:
Ga stemmen!

Hey, you snot encrusted waste product, three times in the last week, THREE TIMES, the Ukrainians attempted a Weapon of Mass Destruction; a radiological bomb. THREE TIMES they attacked a Russian nuclear reactor with drones, trying to create a breach, render a huge swath of land uninhabitable, slowly murdering everyone exposed with cancer deaths from the radiation. THREE TIMES in the last week!
Here's an incredibly biased piece of anti Russian propaganda from a left wing "news" source. The Ukraine really is trying to spark a nuclear war, and Biden really is so incompetent and senile that he's letting them. <link>
Russia has long ago said that they will respond with nuclear weapons. Long ago. Long BEFORE the Ukraine just did this another THREE TIMES in the last week.
And we're paying for this? You think it's a good idea? You think it makes sense for the American people to spend money we don't even have so that election-cancelling fascists can spark a nuclear war with their terrorist attacks?
This is "Good" foreign policy to you?
You LIKE that Biden is doing this?
Trust me here, and I mean this with all my heart but, if the Ukraine isn't stopped, if they continue with the reckless even INSANE terrorism there will be a nuclear war and, after that, assuming you're alive, there will be nothing you wouldn't give up to roll back the clock and stop it from happening. Once the Ukraine gets the nuclear war started, there will be nothing you wouldn't do to get a second chance to stop them.
Once the Ukraine sparks the nuclear war, assuming you live, you're going to wish bigger than any wish you ever had in your life that you can go back in time and stop Biden's madness.
Our idiotic leaders made assurances, you can even call them "Guarantees" of the Ukraine's independence. But you know what they didn't do? As stupid as our so called "Leaders" are you know what they didn't get mixed up in?
We never made a suicide pact with the Ukraine.
We had an agreement, we made assurances but we didn't form a suicide pact, so any and all agreements were broken, rescinded starting with the very first terrorist attack by the Ukraine.
You have no right to risk nuclear war for another people's country, much less fascist who engage in terrorism.
AND WHAT'S WORSE:
You actually think you're superior for supporting this madness. You think this makes you better than me and everyone else who values the existence of civilization.
The Ukrainian war would be long over, if we had decent leaders who stopped paying for the war the moment the Ukrainians resorted to terrorism.
There was a fascist coup that overthrew the elected government of the Ukraine in 2013. Yes, your precious media will tell you that the fascists weren't fascist, or they all moved to Brazil starting the moment they won but, even the so called "Democratic" government in charge right now cancelled elections. And they're persecuting the Orthodox Church as thought criminals. And there was never a time when they weren't attacking the ethnic Russians of the western fringes and Crimea.
End this madness. And the only way to do that is to end the Biden administration. He simply can not and will not see his policies for the insanity that they are.

Is there any media (in any language) about the EU's proposals about hate speech legislation?
We need this to be an issue people talk about ahead of the election and to hold our politicians to account. Ask them in person when they're campaigning on the street, email them. Ask them if we want Scottish-style hate crime legislation in the EU.
Links about Scotland:
Women have every right to be concerned about Hate Crime Act
Scotland's new Hate Crime Act is fraught with danger

The EU is poised to effectively become the world’s AI police, creating binding rules on transparency, ethics, and more.
By Melissa Heikkilä, December 11, 2023
-
This is not going to be perfect but it is at least a start. And it is worth to remember this if someone tells you not to vote in the 2024 European Parliament election because "the EU only cares about the curves of banana" or similar BS.
Only just over 50% of the people who were eligable to vote voted in 2019. If you don't show up to vote, the right certainly will.

Greek PM not seeking EU post after June election
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis ruled out any scenario of seeking the top EU post after the European elections in June, stating that his only goal was to lead his country, according to Euractiv.
By issuing his statement, Mitsotakis has denied growing rumours in several European media outlets that he may be eyeing the EU’s top post after the European elections, including that of Commission President, if Ursula von der Leyen fails to gain enough support for the second mandate.
How many times do I have to say […] that for me, there is absolutely no issue?
He added in an interview with Skai TV on Thursday, April 25, that being prime minister of Greece was “the greatest honour” for him. However, he acknowledged that discussions about the EU post could be “to a certain extent flattering and honourable.”
In late January, Mitsotakis, along with his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk, nominated von der Leyen as the leading candidate of the European People’s Party (EPP), the largest group in the European Parliament and the strongest political faction in the Council of Europe.
Political experts described the move as an encouraging message for von der Leyen. A similar rumour concerned Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, who was mentioned as a potential candidate for the Commission’s presidency.
