So when they found that two men, with eyes the same as those who struck them down all those centuries ago, threaten to destroy what his young friend holds dear? How about this: Leon has a nightmare of Eternatus killing his wife and Hop but he is woken up by her (his wife). Leon is crying, scared, lost and saddened because he thinks he couldn't protect either of them or his region. Things turn smutty when she comforts him, loves on him, making love to him and reassuring him. Comfort sex is the best and don't be afraid to write this as gentle and as loving (not rough) as you can, I feel like this is lacking in the Leon community and is so in-character for him. Ever since he battled Eternatus he had recurring nightmares about this nightmare Pokemon. Of it destroying his hometown, killing his friends and Pokemon, but this nightmare hit different. The persons, he sees dying in this nightmare, were his family. To be more specific, he first saw Hop go up in flames . His screams and cries made Leon unable to move or react in his dream. All he could do was stretch out his arm, a helplessly try to reach for his brother before he disappeared in dust.

After this Eternatus rushed from his position in the air and opened its mouth to devour you, Leons beloved wife. "No!! Please!! Kill me instead, but please leave her alone!", Leon screamed in his dream, his tears falling when he had to see half of your body torn apart and eaten by this monster. "Y/N!!!!!!"

"Leon, it's fine. Please wake up, darling. I'm here.", your worried voice calmed his senses and a light and gentle tug at his shoulders made him open his eyes. His eyes were wide and teary, his mouth was dry from him shouting and groaning for hours in his sleep. His whole body shook from this nightmare and he looked down at his hands, seeing them still shaking. "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to wake you up, sweetheart..", he mumbled apologetically and you hugged him tightly, because you knew too well what kind of nightmares haunted him lately. "It's fine. Really. It was.. an Eternatus related dream again, wasn't it?" you whispered, caressing his back soothingly to make his racing heart calm down and let his sobs soak in. All he could do was nod, since he didn't trusted his voice right now. For you, Leon always wanted to show you his strength. He wanted to be your 'tower of strength', someone you can rely on. Seeing him so vulnerable made you sad and you knew it pained him to show you his weakened side.

"You don't have to tell me, what happened. Buf if you need to talk about it, I'll-" "I saw Hop and you.. dying."

Your sentence stopped.

"I saw you dying in a grotesque way and felt so helpless. What if Eternatus escapes and attacks us again? I don't think I am able to defend the people I love.. to defend.. you.", his words made you sad, but you understood his fear. Eternatus was dangerous, there was no doubt about this fact. But you couldn't allow it to make you live in fear.

"Leon.", you spoke up, putting his face between your hands to make him look at you. "I understand how you feel. But don't worry. Eternatus can't escape. He is safe in the laboratory. Nothing bad will happen, you hear me?"

"Do you promise me, to let me protect you until my last breath?", he asked against your lips, his strong arms circling around your waist. You smiled at him and leaned in for a sweet and loving kiss. "I promise. And I promise that nothing in this world can do us apart. Not even death. And neither can Eternatus." "I love you.. so much.", Leon mumbled against your lips, his hands already mentally absent feeling your sides up and down. My one and only ship for Leon is Leon/Dani, who I write with the lovely @xfaucheuse​! The two of them have inspired so much growth and happiness in each other, and I truly can’t envision what my Leon would look like if I didn’t have such a wonderful friend and OC to help flesh out his postgame story. She is the entire reason behind his Kalos move!

The ship itself came about as the result of a Discord discussion. Though I already knew Leon would have had no prior relationships (it just wasn’t realistic, given his constant busy schedule and overwhelming level of fame), meeting Dani really made him feel seen for the first time in his life. She could understand his stresses and social pressures, she could look at him and see Leon, rather than Galar’s beloved, infallible Champion, and she reignited his love for battling in a way no one else had been able to.

From there, the details kinda wrote themselves as we slotted the timeline alongside the canon events of SwSh. They met shortly before the events of the game, as part of a Mega vs. Gigantamax exhibition match (the same match that made Galarian history by breaking the three thousand year Mega Evo ban), and were a fully established couple by the time the Eternatus mess rolled around.

In fact, as far as my general blog canon goes, it’s actually because of Dani that he made it out of there alive. Her Aegislash blocked a second attack that otherwise would have been fatal had it hit the already-wounded Leon.

ScVi is hitting its stride right now, so I figure there's no better time than now to pull this old SwSh idea out of the box! This is an rp advertisement! Please only interact if you're interested in rping. See the end of the post for guidelines!

This would be a canon-compliant Sword/Shield rp

I'd be playing my OC (who takes the role of the game's MC, but isn't a self insert just to clarify), whoever's writing with me would be playing Hop

We can also definitely include other canon characters (I'd like to include Leon in this for sure), but I'd prefer no real doubling unless you've got a really good idea for a side plot that ties into the main one!

This would take place in the future, when the two characters are young adults (think like, early 20's probably)

My OC is still the Galar champion, he eventually left Postwick due to his duties as champion. Meanwhile, Hop became a successful Pokémon professor, but stayed in a more small town environment

Due to their distance apart, they went from best friends to near strangers. Now here's where the plot kicks in

My OC captured Eternatus and ended the Darkest Day at age 15, as complies with canon. He continued working with Eternatus for years and years, even using it to win him the championship, but the Pokémon's power eventually proved to be too much for him to handle

The dark energy started corrupting his spirit, and eventually his physical form, in an effort to make him a human vessel for Eternatus

At first he keeps it a secret from everyone, not wanting to send Galar into a panic over their champion. But when his situation becomes too difficult to hide, he turns to the only person he feels like he can trust: a certain scientist back in Postwick

Cue rekindling an old friendship- and sparking a new romance. This would probably get into some slightly darker themes, but no major character death (at least not permanent) because I don't really vibe with that!

Favorite Dark type: HHMMMM I REALLY LOVE ABSOL AND MEGA ABSOL. Some other faves would be Houndoom, the Deino and Impidimp lines too. Grimmsnarl is neat.

Favorite Dragon Type: ETERNATUS MY BELOVED. Goomy, Goodra, and Giratina are also pretty high up there. Miraidon is also pretty neat and I mentioned the Deino line above.

Blake was searching for months for a nice place to finally settle down, Now that he was the pokemon champion. He had beat everyone, Caught every type of pokemon, And was deemed ‘Unbeatable.’ He eventually found a nice cabin on a beautiful, Warm, Green flourishing mountain. Life was everywhere! Even if he had tried to release you, You doubt it'd have worked. You'd just run back to him! That's just how you were. After all, You were in love. The both of you were!
