They just turn into those cats that suddenly get the zoomies and all you need to do is get out of their line of the zooms. (Although Macaques shadow portal is probably the short cut everyone probably takes if he allows them to go through his shortcut... Or does everyone play the game of first one "who finds the Maater first?")

Scenario: Reader wants to sleep. Needs to have their favorite fur covered boys to sleep well.
You were lying down, trying to go to sleep. And yet it elludes you like water from a ducks back. You knew you were tired, yet your mind refused to turn off in order for you to get your REM sleep.
You finally breathed in and give a sigh of defeat. Lifting your head from the pillow and looked up. "Guys? Could you-?"
"Yes Master!?" Macaque knelt before you, at eye level where you were lying in the couch. You stared at him. Bemused at his speed. "Can i ask you, Wukong, and MK to come here for a sec?" That order request did not take long to be fulfilled.
"Is there something we can do Master?" MK asked, looking up at you. "It's not a big deal, just a lil thing." You assured the three monkey champions kneeling in front of you. " Um... Can I ask you guys to just... Lie next to me? Like. One on each side? I'm more used to my cats lying next to me while I go to sleep and uh..." By the look on their faces, they could feel your sorrow from missing your pet. You took in a deeper breath, held in your chest as you tried to speak. "I just need some company while I go to sleep."
" of course" you were so tired you couldn't tell if it was Wukong or MK saying this. You knew it wasnt Macaque since he wad always so loud and eager to please you. Eventually you felt Wukong on your left and Macaque on your right. Both nuzzling into your shoulder and side respectfully. MK was clinging to you while burrying his head into your chest. Right over your heart. All of whom had their arms wrapped around you ans their tails wurled either around your legs or your waist. It was... Soothing. In no time your eyes closed, and you drifted off to sleep. Feeling comfort in those around you.
And when you felt Wukong place a kiss on your head, it was over. You heard his voice before going straight into dreamland. "Have a good night Master."

Song Review(s): Grateful Dead - “Dancing in the Street” and “My Brother Esau” (Live, April 27, 1985) and “China Cat Sunflower” -> “I Know You Rider” (Live, April 28, 1985)
The Grateful Dead were celebrating 20 years of life in 1985 and Dave’s Picks is celebrating the band’s 20 Years so Far tour with its forthcoming two-show set.
Scheduled for release Jan. 26, Volume 49 contains the group’s April 27 and 28 shows in California, fantastic gigs that Sound Bites had on tape within months of their occurrence.
The four-song sampler sounds even better than those soundboard recordings. And the band is musically hot from the gate - if ragged on the vocals - as they perform their original arrangement of “Dancing in the Street” with Bob Weir and Brent Mydland sharing co-leads and Jerry Garcia adding Motown backgrounds in his ravaged, mid-’80s voice.
All six players are crystal clear and adequately separated on this lovely surprise from April 27 that’s accompanied by a particularly double-jointed version of “My Brother Easu.” With Weir sounding like he’s actually singing from inside the hi-fi, this specimen will take anyone seeing shows in this era right back to the Grateful Dead venue of the mind.
The warhorse paring of “China Cat Sunflower” -> “I Know You Rider” represents April 28 and is set to a cocaine-appropriate tempo while featuring a truncated into with Weir’s signature riffs barely audible and Garcia a little uncertain of “China Cat”’s lyrics.
The band takes its time getting to “Rider,” with Garcia sticking to the “China Cat” melody while his mates play the rhythm of “Rider.” The vocals aren’t what they’d become in just a couple of years, but the music is monstrous with drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart driving that northbound train like mad musical engineers.

Weee more tboi AU rambling! This time a short overview of all of the main characters:
Isaac Moriah (He/she, gender-fluid 16)
Isaac, the lost and confused human of Limbo and older brother to JnE but younger of Maggie. The bastard child of his family being the cheated child by Magdalene but an unknown father. Isaac being human remains magicless unlike everyone else in the town and struggles with her own identity of what he is. One day though her future changes when he obtains a strange red key..
Maggie Moriah (She/Her Pan 17)
Elder sister of Isaac and JnE, training to be a cleric. The loved and loving christian of Limbo, dating Samson and friend of Judas. Her ex Bethany though they don’t get quite get along even if it seems only Bethany is still mad. Maggie does her best to stay positive but will be snappy if she’s mad.
Cain Evergate (He/him Gay 14)
A orphan cold hearted and snarky, younger brother of Eve. Cain is known as the black cat of Limbo, thief, trickster, and all around ass. Cain bullies Lazarus for his cash and brings along Azazel n Keeper to do so. Azazel is always hesitant but keeper acts like a big brother to Cain, unlike Eve…
Judas Sulfite (He/him Straight 16)
Quiet and empty adoptive brother of Azazel, Dark one, and Siren. Judas while smart and top of his classes is distant and silent to everyone, even his own family. Once the best friend of Bethany but an incident was left wingless and deep in depression meds. It’s best not to push him into emotional outbursts least his unknown shadow curse take control.
Blue (They/them masc Gay 16)
The strange sewers kid seemingly unkillable from rot and clueless of their status. Blue has no family nor home but seems happy and content regardless in the sewers. No one knows where they came from but generally stay away other then keeper their boyfriend. Blue is bubbly aloof and clueless of the struggles of life being resistant to growing up.
Eve Evergate (She/They Lesbian 16)
An orphan quick to anger and blames anyone else for her own problems. Eve while once having a friend group she revealed in now remains nearly alone and arguing every minute with Cain. When she’s not fighting or messing with dead animals acts as a older sister to Apollyon.
Samson (He/Him NB -> Male trans Pan 16)
Reckless fighter orphan, taken from his nameless parents for abuse. Samson always growing up a orphan has learned to take care of himself and look to the positives in life, even if he can be a bit dumb to social normalcy at times. He’s loving to Maggie, while an Ex of Bethany is on good terms with her, and is a fighting teacher to a frustrated Esau.
Azazel Sulfite (He/They Pan (nearly) 14)
The youngest child of the sulfite family, once closest to his brother Judas but has since been distant to Az. Azazel has lost much of his care for his daily life, wearing messy clothes and flunking his classes to hang out with Cain and Keeper instead. This doesn’t make him much happier though as they will push him around to do things he’s not a fan of but they’re his only friends so he sticks with them. His horn broke at 10 and ever since has been a bit of a sucker up.
Lazarus of Bethany (He/him Gay 15)
The meek and weak younger brother of Bethany, often seen alone. Lazarus spends each of his days alone studying or just writing in his diary, often in fear he’ll be bullied again if he goes out. Usually the victim of Cain, Azazel and Keeper bullying wise but otherwise has no other company then his sparse sister. He has no knowledge of the white streak in his hair truely means.
Eden Evergate (They/them bi 15)
The separated cousin of Cain and Eve living as a Holy Nobel. Eden is a single child with a mysterious mother often trying to live up to ridiculous standards and bottling up their emotions to be the straight A student. Their closest friend is Apollyon who they often garden with after school. Eden can be snippy but tries their best to hide all their baggage only making things worse in the end.
Lost of Bethany (real name Timothy, he/him Ace but not aro 16)
The adoptive ghostly son of Gabriel and cousin of Bethany and Lazarus. Lost is a school genius and often doesn’t have to try hard to get straight As but leads to being in a league of his own and no one else to chat to. He desperately wants connection and more answers to what he’ll be in life but his father seems secretive about his life and how he got him as a son.
Lilith (She/Her Straight 21)
The mother figure to the orphan’s, once one herself. Lilith was once the blind mother figure to Cain but at 18 was kicked out onto the streets. After a year of lost searching and struggling homeless was taken in by big horn with the agreement she would be the nanny to lil horn. She’s kind and caring but can struggle to challenge or let those she cares for go on their own.
Keeper (He/him Gay 17)
The stable head greedling unsure of his own future. Keeper as a greedling doesn’t age physically anymore but has returned to school regardless to get more pay once he graduates. He takes care of Cain as a older brother doing his best to keep him from the really dangerous dark secrets in the town, along with enjoying the bubbly nature of Blue to calm his nerves. He also smokes to calm down
Apollyon of Lolca (He/They AceAro 15)
Orphan cursed with stone skin, making him mute and unable to emote his feelings. Apollyon lost his parents and sister Edith in a incident as 7 year old and has been a orphan since. He’s trapped in a depression but goes to Eden and Eve for comfort and support. Cain hates Apollyon for taking his sister but Apollyon mostly ignores him. Apollyon also can be quiet judgement at times.
Forgotten Halgen (Actual name Alex, He/him trans aro 18 (but was basically frozen for 500 years))
The mysterious cultist of the pine woods trapped in service. Forgotten the son of clutch is trapped in service due to his past cultist life to guard a old key temple. He’s brash and easily annoyed if not left be and wishes to escape and find his father again.
Mary of Bethany (She/Her Pan 17)
The stoic secretive prodigy mage seemingly trapped in her own opinions. Bethany the older sister to Lazarus lives her life almost all away from home training with her tutor in the holy palace. While kind to stranger of the holy type she can quickly become aggressive and crass to anyone demonic and especially does not hold back on Judas her old best friend. She drowns Lazarus with these opinions and coddles him with lies to keep him safe.
Jacob Moriah (He/him straight 13)
The spot light hogging naturally born prodigy who’s too up his own fame to notice others. Jacob twin of Esau and younger brother of Isaac and Maggie was born already powerful in his own ice magic making their mother coddle him. He now needs everyone’s love and admiration and will do anything to achieve it even if it means putting down his twin.
Esau Moriah (He/him Gay 13)
The black sheep, cursed with invisible skin and undeveloped magic. Esau was born with a curse put on his mother making his skin entirely invisible giving him his fleshy looks. He’s been a outcast for said looks and bottles up his flamey anger not to burn anyone by accident. He’s often shafted by Jacob for a laugh and is a target on the side by Cain and Keeper’s bullying

So. Square that mystery away. why are the flashbacks of mikey alone in japan different from the other flashback style? Well aside to just communicate tone and atmosphere (which they do). This stuff. Eastman's annotations also mention possible influence from the unmade 'final turtles story', (the idw ult collection pub. 2012) which very first conceptions seem to be very old, and is now the last ronin, 2020.

They really had me, with this one. Cause time travel IS A THING. The turtles can do. AND this was published after the turtles 1st cross over with Usagi Yojimbo, and (i didnt include any but) many dinosaur like animals are shown in the art. Like in that comic, tho clearly the inhabitants are human people, not anthro animals. And even, this plot in some ways resembled the third live action turtles movie. The Real Answer?

Legacy Ask 1 : Everyone's Opinions on Each Other.. and Azazel Lore.
[With some updates to fit in with some new personalities.]
Maggie: "Oh boy! Wel uh..!" *she has trouble gathering her thoughts, this is her first question after all* "Well, Isaac is a sweet individual! I think I can say that, on behalf of everybody that isn't Esau."
Isaac: "Laz is very nice to me." *he thinks briefly for a few moments* "S...Sometimes I talk with Guppy!" *he lifts up the plush cat laying next to him, smiling* "He likes everyone too!"
Samson: *he ponders for a few moments* "Cain doesn't really talk to anyone, last time I checked.."
Cain: "Oh bullshit 'I don't speak to anybody'!" *he's angry* "I speak to Eve and Maggie, an' yet you choose to ignore those ones?!"
Samson: *he glares at Cain* "Well pardon me for not paying attention to someone like you."
Cain: *he glares at Samson* "Say that to my face and..."
Maggie: *she gets in-between Samson and Cain to stop them from fighting* "Boys! Boys! Let's not start anything right now!"
Azazel: "Sweet Satan! It's only the first question and you two are already at each others throats!"
Apollyon: *it lifts up a small sketch of itself sitting nearby Azazel, ???, and Forgotten (with the Soul drawn next to them). They flap their wings gently, and sign 'friends' with their hands*
The Soul: "Oh.. they say that they like being near me and Blue Baby..." *they look away, with a small blush and smile on their face*
Azazel: "Anyways, has anyone seen-"
The Lost: *they scream, running from The Revenant*
Jacob: *also screaming and running away with The Lost*
Azazel: "...Revenant's loose."
Eve: "R-Right now??"
The Static: *they hover close by them* "I'll go stop him.. I'm the only one that has been able to reason with them thus far.." *they fly off to go and stop The Revenant*
Azazel and Eve: *they watch The Static fly away*
Azazel: "Good luck with that!"
Lilith: *she heard the question, and popped her head out of her room* "Everyone's very nice! I'm so sorry I couldn't answer the question previously, young organism!""

Isaac: "Um..." *he tugs at Azazel's jacket* "Azazel..."
Azazel: "Huh?" *he looks at Isaac* "Yeah, Isaac?" *he's holding a book, probably going to attempt to sleep 'the Judas way'*
Isaac: "You and Eve did not answer the previous question..."
Azazel: "Neither did The Lost, Jacob, Esau, and Beth. Come to think of it, when's Beth coming home?"
Isaac: "Oh um.. soon... I'll uh... I'll let you sleep now." *they wander back to the living room, going back to doodling in his coloring book*

Azazel tossed and turned in his sleep. He was being reminded of something, enough to cause a nightmare. He remembered getting into an argument with his dad, their biggest yet. He remembers his dad snapping off his horns, and his wings. He remembers screaming for help as his mom tried to stop his father from doing this. And then.. he wakes up in a cold sweat. The book that was laying on his chest had fallen to the floor.
"Need some help?" Someone asks. Oh, right. Beth had just come home while he was sleeping. She must've saw him having his nightmare, and waited for him to wake up outside his room. Azazel nods slowly to her, before sitting up in his bed.
Bethany picks up the book, before sitting down next to Azazel on his bed. Placing the book on her lap, she sighs to herself. "I'm guessing you had that nightmare again, huh?" She asks. Azazel sighs to himself, confirming her suspicions. "Azazel, the nightmares are not going to stop. So long as we are stuck down here, everyone will suffer with them." She looks up at the ceiling, huffing. "Even I've had nightmares of that ritual the cult did to me! It's been effecting me of all-" "Beth." Azazel interrupts her before she could rant about the nightmares.
She giggles sheepishly. That's a habit that she's been trying to let go of. Though she knows that everyone's having them, she smiles softly to him. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about them. I wouldn't want Isaac and Lazarus to worry." She tells him. Azazel sighs in relief. He was going to ask her that moments later.
Bethany gets up, and returns the book to the bookshelf. "I have to get ready for bed." She tells him. Azazel nods to her. That time already? "Stay strong for me, okay?" Once again, Azazel nods to her. "Have a good night, Beth." He says. Bethany flashes him a smile and a thumbs up, before leaving his room.
