Another collab of our glitchy babies, Reimancy and Digit. Asked Unhealing to make a shipchild and he made Digit, absolutely love her! ♥ Here’s some information he wrote about her since he doesn’t have tumblr or twitter anymore:
“Her name is Digit and she's an Error x Ink sans shipkid! She's based on neon lights and she's a hacker nerd kid in elementary school uniform! Her rain jacket is to protect her from water but is also her mascot/character she designed. Her mascot is a virus program to help her code and hack into software (digitally) and other such ill-mannered shenanigans. She's also quite sassy and controlling, but nonetheless loves her siblings to the core strings that connect them while having an attitude about it.”

It's so interesting and kinda odd to me how many ErrorInk shipchildren but not fusions there are. Like, I get it. People ship errink, which is logical. And the ship is great. But like, with a fusion, at least imho, there's so much more space to experiment with!
Like, errink is usually either a healthy family fun stuff or a toxic abusive family relationship on the verge of a divorce. And their children are always caught up in this. It may sound fun, and it is, but I feel like there's not too much space where you can take these relationships. It doesn't make such fics/drawings/etc bad, ofc no. But they often have similar conclusions (on the surface – the deeper you go, the more differences you find). And with fusions it's different.
Fusions might not even connect to their "parents". They don't give a shit about that family bullshit if it happens. Fusions are, pretty much always, all alone. And that opens a vast field for creativity. It all depends on the age, the character, the way the fusion came to existence. Some may seek parental figures, some would want to escape the "parents" they never wanted to have. Some might just observe their parents from behind. Technically speaking, a fusion can be older than their parents. That actually happens quite often with Paper Jam. As well as that, fusion's values and ideals don't have to depend on their parents'. By that I mean, that there are many creator and corrector ship children. Not too many of them are legit destroyers. At least because in universes, where a child is even possible, Ink and Error tend to live at various degrees of peace. But in a fusion universe, they still might be the greatest enemies of each other.
Welp, no conclusion to this rant ig. Just thoughts, random thought... I'd be grateful, if people told me about grammar/spelling mistakes, if they noticed any (English isn't my first lang). Thanks for your attention...?

Okay so, 'am just gonna throw here everthing that I know about him, so, sorry if I'll say some stuff that you may already know!
So-
Goth is a ship child of GenoSans and ReaperSans, made by Nekophy
He has a little comic with how he was created, but I don't remember it baing finished :(

(I'm writhing this stuff here, 'cuz Nekophy have drawen them many times with Gothie!)

Welp, turns out two ship children have encountered each other between the multiverses.
Doomsday doesn’t seem to pleased with the idea of Nightmare having a kid with Ink, and it seems Ain knows exactly who Doomsday really belongs to.

Um.. Hi? I saw your new one sketch video, it looks great! But ..How do you treat children? Shipchildren. I just thought about what a Gradient or PJ would look like in "Wings of war" and realized that I haven't seen your drawings with them at all. But why? You don't like them?

It would make things difficult if I add them.. and a lot of the story is for example, how Error and Ink got to know each other and how their relationship develops and their struggles. So.. If there would be a ship kid it would be out of place.
Also, if I'm completely honest, I don't really like the whole ship kid thing. If it's not written well or the story naturally develops to the point, it can end up seeming forced and doesn't add anything to the main story. I'm also not much for parenting pff If I have characters, I want them to life and solve their struggles and not worry about a kid.
But I can understand if others see this differently and like I said, it can work!
But personally, I like to keep them out of my stories. And I do allow if anyone has ideas and wants to design shipchildren for Wings of War/ my Sea Monster Au and come up with backstories.
It's just not going to be canon.
