Howdy!
Footprint is an animated short film created by Massie Hashemi, produced at Texas A&M College of Architecture. It follows Ava, a little girl who stumbles across a baby sea turtle wedged in a bottle. Throughout the struggle to release him, Ava witnesses first-hand the bigger issue that threatens the lives of many marine animals, that her ocean has become a global garbage can.
Massie is the writer, director, and animator for this project. She started this team a year ago and built up a team of 15 people from seven countries to help her so far. Now, she is seeking new talents who have a passion for animation and planet Earth, specifically, issues related to animals’ rights to join her team.

CONFESSIONS: LYRICS
Just about a month ago we put out a new video, Confessions, which was the first off of the coming album, WE.ANIMALS. We chose this song as an appetizer for conceptual purposes- no, it’s not a dance track, and it may not even be the “best” song on the coming record, but we chose it because of its’ introduction to some of the various themes which are to come.
Lyrics are a big deal to me, and I invest a great deal of time into the words I write (although it takes me a VERY long time to delve into the lyrics of other peoples' songs strangely).
I also know I have a tendency to NOT articulate when I am singing, and so I hear alot of people singing along to different lyrics- which is super adorable. Buttttttt for those of you who have been asking, here are the lyrics to the new song- which play a huge role in interpreting the actual meaning of visuals in our new video. I will not however, dissect the meaning of the words any further- to me… it’s obvious. To you, it's whatever it needs to be! INjoy!

i was thrilled to see the world premiere of Yakona tonight at the Marchesa Theatre. it is a beautifully-made and stunning documentary about the San Marcos River. this film gave me everything i want and love in a documentary/nature film and i want everyone to know about it! there's one more SXSW screening on monday, march 11 at the Paramount Theatre. if you miss it, stay tuned for its distribution. it's worth the wait!!!
