Emerie Week 2023 Day 2: Breaking the mold
I just know Emerie will turn out to be the start of a new wave in Illyria. She will drive everyone to shed their shell and come forward to achieve their dreams.
I can see her being the trainer for the Illyrian woman who wants to fight. I can also see her giving tips on how to run a business to anyone interested. She would have more customers especially women who would want to meet her.

Day One for @emerieweek (a day late, I know I’m sorry)
Favourite Headcanon
Emerie switches to Illyrian whenever she’s pissed or excited.
She managed to creature a new recipe with spices? Animated and fast talking about how yummy it is while Nesta and Gwyn just nod as if they understand it
She aced a new technique or almost disarmed Cassian? She boasts in Illyrian and soon her and Cassian and Azriel are all discussing in their native language
One of her stupid relatives made her mad? Starts rearranging her store while cursing out loud and talking to herself, Nesta and Gwyn just silently helping her because she’s very scary when she wants to be
Just picturing Emerie talking in Illyrian makes my heart go “weeeee”

Emerie Week Day 4: Theories
hello my dear friends. here are some of my theories (and hopes) for future books involving our queen @emerieweek
Emerie will be key in galvanizing change in Illyria. Being the first Illyrian woman to complete the Blood Rite will be a big deal and I hope that Emerie will become a key player in helping bring change to Illyria. A lot of people theorized Nesta would be the one to do that, but I think as an Illyrian, that role should fall to Emerie. Whether it’s getting more Illyrian women training or just getting them to advocate for themselves, I think Emerie deserves to lead the charge on that one.
A lot of people have theorized about Emerie’s wings being healed when she touched the stone on Ramiel. I really hope that if we get her wings being healed that it’s through Ramiel and not something about one of the healers finally “figuring it out.” @iddragyouwithme laid this out beautifully in their post here, so I won’t beat a dead horse, but I hope that SJM treats Emerie’s story with care because our queen deserves that.
If book 5 is set in Illyria (and we finally tackle Azriel’s intense internalized racism) I hope Emerie plays a key role. Illyria is her home and like I touched on earlier, she deserves to be the face for change especially in regard to Illyrian women. I hope we get to see Emerie in her element and helping Azriel to see that there’s still plenty of good people in Illyria who deserve the changes everyone wants to see.
I really hope Helion brings our girls some real pegasi to play with. Just imagine the looks on everyone’s faces.
More Valkyrie bonding because they are the absolute cutest. I want more friendship bracelets, more inside jokes, more laughing and smiling because our girls deserve it! I also would die seeing them gossip about Cassian and Azriel and whoever Emerie’s crushing on👀

Emerie week Day 4: Valkyries
The most thing I love about the Valkyrie trio is how comfortable they're with each other. You see the otherwise stoic Nesta laughing and smiling when she's with them. Emerie who comes a little closed off trusts them enough to show her sarcastic and playful side. Gwyn is comfortable enough to share her trauma with them. Their bond is simply so precious.

Day two for @emerieweek (again, a day late I’m sorry)
Friendships
I know most people are going to talk about the Valkyries and believe me, I love them. I love how I wanted Nesta and Emerie to be friends since her appearance in ACOFAS and how it became true in ACOSF. I love how she introduced Gwyn to smutty books and created a book club with her and Nesta.
Yet I’m not going to talk about the Valkyries but Cassian.
Cassian and Emerie have such a huge brotop potential, since ACOFAS too! How Cassian and Emerie respected and understood each other regarding being outcasts in Illyria: Cass because of being a bastard and Emerie because she was a female running a store. Even though they interacted for eight or ten pages max in ACOFAS I could see them becoming good friends so much!!
Emerie and Cassian discussing ways to improve Illyria, regarding the females and orphan children situations
Emerie and Cassian cooking traditional foods together
Emerie and Cassian talking about their culture and how much they love it, and how glad Cassian is he can talk like this to her because it’s not the same with his brothers (Rhysand was not that inserted in the Illyrian culture and Azriel couldn’t care less)
Emerie teaching Cassian some Illyrian traditions that he could not learn because he was an orphan (even though Rhys’ mom adopted and raised him, I think she taught him and az how to read and write, but did not go too deep in the Illyrian traditions) and Cassian being grateful because he can then teach his children
I just think about Emerie and Cassian having a sibling like relationship and it’s just so 🥺🥺
