Headcanon that Ashton spent a lot of time basically being raised by eisfuura, ones who were also orphans or joining parties with a lot of eisfuura, and that's why every second npc who knows them is eisfuura but also maybe they have some birdlike mannerisms and that's where they picked it up from

Surprisingly my favorite character at the moment is Cerrit. You'd think I'd go for any character that has the most plot relevance or the funniest quips... I like how real he is. He reminds me of my granddad, who, despite being a working man would drop anything and everything for us if he even suspected we were in danger.

Travis is a hero for playing a dad so well and making me realize how much anxiety and fear they have to push through whilst keeping calm to keep us safe. He must be equally as good a dad IRL.

Cerrit, know that you were the best of all of them, even if it costs you your life. Save your children. They will know it too.

Camio

Camio is a Royal Victorian Crown Pigeon. In the world of D&D he’d be a bard for sure. I’m unsure if he’d be Eisfuura or a Kenku variant.

Camio would be a Bard from the College of Tragedy. Performing in Jsurar.

Orion

Orion is a peacock Eisfuura Professor possibly in the world of dnd, a wizard Professor. More proficient in Astral Sea studies or Astrology.

Professor Orion Ursa Draco Borealis

Xander

Xander is a Noble Eisfuura being. He deals with dark magic and is apart of a lineage of Nobles.

He’d be a Sorcerer of Shadow Magic

A fun thing I learned from my mom today that is probably why our favorite bird detective named his daughter Maya:

In the Philippines, the word for a category of small birds, including sparrows and finches, is "maya". The chestnut munia (the red maya, or "mayang pula") was the national bird of the Philippines until the honor was transferred to the Philippine eagle, which Cerrit is designed after and presumably his children as well.

I know it's Nein lockdown but in practice for me that means I have all CR-related tags blocked so anyway my absolutely out-there theory from the last C3 episode, specifically Allura mentioning the likely change in the weave of magic, is that actually now I do believe in the possibility of Daggerheart Campaign 4 whereas previously I was like eh probably not getting another longform campaign

#in short: makes sense they'd play a decent amount of daggerheart as like. advertising. a la candela #(they helped D&D 5e immeasurably; they are well aware the way to sell a ttrpg is to do an actual play)#the daggerheart races are iirc the same with the legally distinct names they use (eg: lagomore for rabbitfolk/eisfuura for birdfolk)#and if magic changes and specifically resurrection is broken that's consistent with what we know of daggerheart #see. when i theorize. it's different. bc i'm not hinging this on the die used and also the presupposition the gods will die #cr tag
