those character names sound cool, id like to heear more about the backstories please!

ooh thank you for giving me an opportunity to rant a little!!!! (this is also reference for myself- i had to list them all out on the front page of my new notebook just so i won't forget any of their names lol)

Backstory characters

Gemria Bozzahr: Arvid’s mother who, as a young gold dwarf girl, got pregnant out of wedlock in a short and tumultuous relationship with a kind duergar soldier (Arvid senior, Arvid Vicehold). She gave birth in the nearest monastery, in secret, and left the infant there when she realized that the boy was born a corpse-blue that betrayed his duergar blood. Arvid understands and is happy with her decision, as he knows this was the best thing she could have done for the both of them. (He might seek her out post-game. I’d like it if they had a nice relationship, and I think it’d be cute if the first time they really met was at his wedding.)

Father Ebrum: the Warlyon (head) of the Tempuran monastery where Arvid was raised- an old shield dwarf who took a quick shine to the boy who proved a quick study and a talented acolyte. He was Arvid’s unofficial guardian and mentor.

Parker and Redd: Arvid’s childhood friends- two village boys (a human and a halfling respectively) who didn’t mind that their friend was blue. They kept a very close relationship until Arvid moved to Baldur’s Gate (and rekindled their friendship once he moved to Waterdeep).

[Honestly, I kind of love how that wedding, there would be 1 (one) little dwarf lady with her partner, 1 (one) wizened old dwarf, 2 (two) friends and their families, and Shadowheart sitting on Arvid’s side, and half the Blackstaff faculty, two wizards of literal legend, and like 150 assorted Dekarioses on Gale’s.]

Herric Birchlight: Iona’s human ex-husband. Iona considers the version of her that was his wife to have died at his hands. He's about 52-53 years old now (he was 18 and she was 27 when they married, and were "together" for 34 years).

Karissa Dawnbreath: Iona’s tiefling friend and sort-of-ex-lover- it was more of an emotional affair than anything else. She was the one who revealed Iona’s magic to the rest of the compound out of fear when she found out about it herself. It kickstarted the events that resulted in half the village burning down and Iona fleeing to Baldur’s Gate.

Sylhorn Raedir: Iona’s father- a mature elf in the most typical way (he was around 230-ish when Iona was born). Very passive, stayed even after his daughter’s magic would have gotten them cast out from the Emissaries of the Immaculate- essentially he didn’t see the weight of a few decades of repression and low-grade crappiness as being too steep a price to pay for their comfortable life.

Jadwiga Raedir: Iona’s human stepmother and Sylhorn’s second wife. She was the one who brought Sylhorn and his then-young daughter (13-ish at the time) into her religion, which is a strange offshoot of Ilmaterian faith. Fundamentally kind, but very ignorant and fearful of magic. (She's almost 100 years old now, pretty impressive. Sylhorn is a very devoted caretaker for her.)

(Petyr and his brother were raised by a polycule of four adults- not an unusual family structure among at least that particular grove of druids. They chose a last name that felt right for all of them.)

Sionn Wildbrook: Petyr’s older brother. Also a half-elf, a very talented druid, and essentially what Petyr would be if he wasn’t…. well. himself. If he was better. Sionn may just be the sole source of his bitchiness and general inferiority complex. (Technically, they’re probably not biologically related though, but the boys do look rather alike for two people who aren't strictly related- only Sionn kind of naturally is everything Petyr would have wanted to be.)

Ayleth Wildbrook: Petyr’s biological mother (he calls her “mum”), a half-elf woman and a gifted healer.

Lorabellis Wildbrook: Petyr’s other mother (calls her "mother"), a human and a very talented and well-respected warrior of the grove. Sort of their equivalent of a guard-captain and Sionn’s biological mother.

Gilnian Wildbrook: One of Petyr’s fathers ("father")- an elf, and a general trader in he grove. Going by his looks, he’s most likely to be Petyr’s biological father as they look a lot alike.

Ciaran Wildbrook: Petyr’s other father ("dad")- a half-elf and a forester/druid himself. Likely Sionn’s biological father.

Bann (here Duke) Hanley Trevelyan: Ray’s father. In this universe, he died fairly recently, as an elderly and well-respected man, to run-of-the-mill nobles' heart disease brought forth by a life lived in leisure and luxury.

Lady Adeline Blanchefleur Trevelyan née d’Argent: Ray’s mother- a tall and imposing, statuesque beauty even now. Elderly recent widow with a tenuously warm relationship with her (also recently widowed) son.

Edmund Lawrence Trevelyan: Ray’s elder brother- an enchanter originally, now a wizard. Doesn't have a whole lot to do in this universe, lol.

Lydia Ambrosine Trevelyan: Ray’s elder sister, a no-nonsense and politically shrewd woman and the owner of vast swaths of lands through her husband’s family. She’s one of the most influential names in the Sword Coast’s wine industry.

Elora: Ray’s old elven nanny/caretaker who was a mother to him in all the ways Lady Adeline wasn’t. She died when he was just around 20-21 years old.

Ser Bradamante: Ray’s old teacher- a respected chevalier who taught him all he knew initially about swordfighting. He still visits her often.

Lady Angélique Léontine Sauveterre Benoit née d’Arlesans: she was originally Ray’s betrothed. They thankfully never wound up going through with that marriage of convenience (for reasons outside of their control- which is how they got engaged in the first place), and now in their later adulthood have an unexpectedly warm friendship between them. She used to be actually kind of in love with him, but she was very young then (only 16 when they got engaged, 18 when he disappeared for two years, and 20-21 when he became Inquisitor and met his future husband), and as an adult is overall understanding and grateful that he stepped out of the picture before they could have been wed.

Richard “Rich”, son of Thierry: Ray’s first love, when he was just a teenager. That relationship was a very formative experience for him.

Assuran: one of the avatars of the god Hoar, the Doombringer, and Phyr’s ex-lover. It’s... a long story.

Kismet Zarali: Phyr’s mother. Dipped shortly after Phyr (then Glory) was born- Phyr to this day doesn’t know the reason.

Prospero Zarali: Phyr’s father. To describe their relationship would be very long and complicated, but what really matters is that he was pretty resentful and neglectful of his daughter and died in a mugging when she was 17.

Fentoris Mistborn: the elven captain of the order of oath of the crown paladins acting as the guards/Flaming Fist in Warford, and the person who pulled Phyr literally from beneath the gallows to recruit her. He ended up being both her teacher and her closest confidant, and the only person she said goodbye to when she left the order and took an oath of vengeance instead. (he was one of my partner's characters in Neverwinter, we kind of came up with part of Phyr's story together)

Lochledge: Phyr’s ex-employer. He's a prominent underworld figure (and landlord, and loan shark) in Warford, and ran events called “Fight Nights”- essentially an underground boxing/MMA ring. Phyr, went to him for work after her father's death, and was his prize fighter for years, because nobody expected such a small girl to be as vicious, ruthless, and resilient as she was. She just... kept getting up, biting, goring with horns, etc. While not without animosity and devoid of trust, their relationship was not entirely hostile- she was sort of his favorite little attack dog, and he liked keeping her around as insurance when he was throwing his weight around. (She had intended to give him her name as "Fear", and he was the one who decided that it should be "Phyr" instead- then he expanded it to "Phyridia" to sound fancier, and she just adopted it.)

It's KRBAY/HNK head canons time!!!!!!!!! (Planet Robobot Addition Part 1)

The story arc goes like this, it begins with Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, Sir Ebrum, Lady Like & the Cappy Kids hanging out at the beach & having a good time. But then a giant ball with 4 legs grabs Planet Popstar as it buried it's legs on the planet. Tiff and Tuff spotted the Halberd going to attack the mysterious flying object, until the object launched a beam at it, making the ship to land into the ocean (again). Tiff, Kirby, & the others were shocked, but then the legs lifted upward, then stomp to the ground as everything turned into metal and robotic. Tiff, Kirby, & the others tried to run away from the robots who were trying to turn them into robots. Kirby & Tiff accidently got split up from the others, and then ran to the cavern where Dark Meta Knight's steamboat is located. (More on him some other time) Due to it floating in the water, steamboat didn't get mechanized. Tiff and Kirby were panting in fear, but out of the shadow, 2 eyes pop up, screaming at them to get off his ship. Tiff & Kirby were shocked, Dark Meta screamed at them to get off his ship. Tiff explained about what was going outside, in which he didn't believed them. When that didn't work, Kirby lifted him and took him outside. When DMK saw what was outside he was shocked to not only see everything mechanized, but even the Cappies and Tiff's family. When Dark Meta was taking all what he just saw in, the 3 of them saw they were being targeted. Tiff picked up Kirby as she and Dark Meta Knight dodged the attack. They spotted that an otter robot in a Mecha was aiming at them, claiming that all life being should be mechanized. After a long fight, the otter robot girl is kicked off her Mecha. She said that Kirby was quite the fighter, as Tiff asked what was the meaning of turning everything in metal. In which she said sadly that it was her boss' duty, DMK asked why she must obey him, in which she said that he would shut her down and scrap her if she defied him. This angered Tiff, but Dark Meta told the 3 of them to follow him, stating that he'll handle this Haltman guy & his assistant (in reality, he wants to take over the company and start a war). But first, they need to go through the gigantic, robotized Cappy Town, where they had to battle many robotic Cappies and Waddle Dees. Since Tiff and Kirby didn't want to harm them, the otter girl gave them her own robot, where she re-programed it so Kirby can climb and pilot it. Kirby was going to get on, but Tiff made him swallow a wheel, turning him into Wheel Kirby, but as he got on the robot, the robot change. As they were going to escape the angry mob of robots lead by a robotic Chef Kawasaki, Burning Leo, (as seen over here https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/NightmareFuel/KirbyLightNovel)

and a giant robot named Gigavolt, chased then chased the 4 when they got caught. As the team rushed to King Dedede's Castle, the robot slammed its arms, trying to smash the 4 of them. But as it did, Kirby spitted out his wheel ability, changing the robot completely. The otter girl began telling Kirby what to do, where he managed to completely destroy the robot as the robot armor got out a giant screw and completely damaged the robot. Tiff and Dark Meta Knight were surprised to see how much stronger Kirby was with the armor. The robotic otter girl then stated that now that they're closer to the Haltman company, they should fly be able to fly there. Where then she turned the robot in jet form as they flew into the Haltman company hangar. Meanwhile, Haltmann, his sassy ai called Star Dream, & his assistant Susie are looking outside the Haltmann Works co. office at the heroes and plotting how to get rid of them. After some talk and banter between the 3, Haltmann and supposedly Star Dream leaves the room. When he left Susie then begins to look through his stuff for something (but Star Dream is secretly watching) ... ANYWAYS the next part would start with the 4 heroes trying to make their way from the hangar into Haltman's main office room. As they got off the robot, The robotic otter girl was about to open the hatch that would easily take them to Haltman. However, the security was set on, as a bunch of robots started heading towards them, DMK quickly started battling them, claiming that they were not a match to him. So, while Kirby and Dark Meta battled the robots, Tiff & the otter girl rushed and help. After destroying the security, they heard a hologram, laughing. IT WAS HALTMANN! He said he was disappointed at the otter girl's betrayal. In which he pressed a button, which open a hatch they were standing on, taking them to the lower deck of the Haltman Company, which was filled with water. As they got on the robobot armor, the otter girl told them to press the parasol mode, which allows them to use the propellers. However, they were not alone, as a giant mechanized Acro appeared, where it intended to attack them. As Dark Meta slashed and prevented the robot's bombs from exploding on them. The otter girl had enough of the robot's attack, so she forced Kirby to change the mode from parasol to ice, where it froze the robot allowing them to escape as the jet mode finally recharged. But they quickly turn into bomb mode, where they launched a bomb into the air as they blew up the hatch. Where they got into jet mode and flew away, just in time to avoid the robot Acro. as they went to a higher part of the Haltman company, they triggered an alarm system that shocked the robot armor, frying it system. As the robot girl was about to reprogram the robobot, they met the assistant Susie. Susie introduced herself & Meta Knight, (who was turned into a robot called Mecha Knight) as well as the Mecha Tuff. Both cyborgs intend to attack them. After Susie made her speech, she then left. Due to her horror, Tiff didn't look, as both Kirby, the otter girl and DMK battled them. Dark Meta Knight's temporary sword was destroyed and practically made him break his arm, but thanks to Kirby and the otter girl, they shut both cyborgs down. Tiff then asked if there's a way to restore them, in which the robotic otter girl then said that she'll take them to the sector to restore them and that Dark Meta Knight should go with her. Which he disagrees claiming that his arm is ok, until the otter girl slapped it in which he cried in pain. As they left, Tiff and Kirby had to go by foot. Meanwhile when Susie was looking around the archives room, she stumbled upon a file called MEMORIES. Susie then put the file into her private Haltmann Works co. device, where it's decurved that she was President Haltmann's daughter, and she used to have a mother. She saw moments like Haltmann holding Susie's had as a newborn which really made her cry. She then found out that one day Haltmann was experimenting with portals. Where a young Susie subspecialty falls into the portal.

Tiff, Tuff, and Taff

I talked about this a little bit in the introduction post, but since it’s now been reblogged, I can now share more details! Taff served as my self-insert as a child. I basically had her do whatever I thought I would do in the show or react how I would react.

Her relationships with Tiff and Tuff were incredibly strong when I first made her. But overtime, as I developed her backstory, I recognized their strong sibling dynamic right off the bat wouldn’t make sense. So, how would Tiff react to seeing her older sister working for the King?

Poorly.

Much to Taff’s dismay, Tiff and Tuff did not have a normal childhood. They were forced to witness the monsters that invaded Cappytown over and over again. Both of them got angry, like Taff did. The two weren’t afraid to speak up and they’d call Dedede out for doing things they didn’t like.

Sir Ebrum and Lady Like tried to get them to stop doing this, but they wouldn’t. Neither Tiff nor Tuff had intention of staying quiet while King Dedede was in charge. Taff was proud of them, of course, but worried. She kept a close watch over them as they grew up and made sure to keep the dungeon of the castle locked.

King Dedede may have also warned Taff to keep her siblings in line, or risk them falling into the same situation she did. But, Taff couldn’t keep them from wanting to fight back forever. Tiff and Tuff approached her with the idea of how to incite a revolution in the Castle.

If King Dedede and Escargoon left, then Sir Ebrum would take over Dreamland’s rule. (Insinuated in Episode 12: Escargoon Squad) So all they had to do was turn everyone in the castle against him. Taff freaked out and harshly shut them down. This sparked an argument between the three of them; planting the seed of Taff working for King Dedede in Tiff’s head.

Tiff and Tuff’s plans for a revolution were only a fantasy. None of the plans they had come up with were realistic. Nice on paper but impossible in practice. They were children. Taff didn’t want them to grow up forcing themselves to accept King Dedede, but what other choice did she have?

She couldn’t risk breaking her agreement with Dedede. So she had to keep going.

Time passed, both Tiff and Tuff started to avoid Taff whenever they’d see her. Tiff had labelled her a traitor in her mind, as had Tuff. Their behavior stung Taff, but she never allowed it to show. She tried to reconnect with them, but they continuously pushed her out.

Sir Ebrum and Lady Like attempted to reason with Tiff and Tuff on Taff’s behalf, but their arguments were rooted in family values. They stressed the importance of forgiving Taff, that blood runs thicker than water, family will always love you, etc etc. Words that sound nice, but don’t take away the hurt the kids were feeling. They didn’t budge.

Taff’s worst fears were realized when Tiff and Tuff tried to fight back. They had come across some weapons in the basement, an axe and a mace, and decided they’d take down the next monster together. Meta Knight happened to notice them carrying their new weapons before they could get too far and stopped them. He informed Taff afterwards.

Taff stormed into her parents apartment. Panic and concern driving her every move. Every word and action emotionally charged. She argued with Tiff and Tuff for hours about them wanting to fight. Taff blamed Lady Like and Sir Ebrum for not keeping a closer eye on them. After all, if they had kept a closer eye on HER, she wouldn’t be a knight.

The family yelled, cried, pleaded, but all of their views were firm. Taff was asked by Sir Ebrum to leave their apartment, so she did, infuriated. Taff’s relationship with her family would remain rocky for several years. Anytime Tiff and Tuff tried to fight, she’d intervene. Taff managed to convinced Fololo and Falala to tell her if the children came up with any plans so she didn’t have to keep a close eye on them at all times.

Sir Ebrum and Lady Like would be the first to extend an olive branch to Taff, as they did not want to excommunicate their daughter from their lives. Taff would graciously accept this. But, from the way they interacted with one another, it was clear that the relationship had been damaged. Something that Taff could not see.

The start of the Kirby: Right Back at Ya show also serves as a new beginning to the siblings’ relationship. King Dedede’s violence increased tenfold when Kirby entered the picture. Taff could no longer keep her siblings out of danger as they followed Kirby, a magnet for danger, wherever he went.

The first few episodes would show Tiff, Tuff, and Taff speaking to each other occasionally, rebuilding trust very very slowly. Episode 8 (Curio’s Curious Discovery) would serve as the turning point for the siblings’ relationship AND how Taff handles her agreement with Dedede.

From every episode onward, their relationship improves more and more. Taff realizes that she can’t protect Tiff and Tuff forever, but she’ll still try to look after them. She’ll teach them how to defend themselves and each other. When to recognize when they’re in over their heads.

I think I’ll probably write about this at some point…

Oh? Someone enjoys my hecannons that make no sence? Alright, I suppose I'll post a few more for you...

Imma disregard cannon for this one... But instead of those tini little fangs you usually see, Marx has big, sharp fucking teeth (and a strong jaw to match). Great for chewing and eating things that you're not supposed to. He's even taken a bite out one of the Halberds' wings in front of MK for the sole purpose of annoying him. Just... Crunch.

I also kinda see him as a compulsive chewer. Chews on anything and everything, like straws etc..

Marx is also super good at replicating voices! He normally has a very voice-cracky voice, but when he puts some effort into it, he can get himself to have a really deep voice, or a femmine one! He has on many occasions used this ability of his for prank calls, and messing with the citizens of dreamland.

Marx ... Needs glasses but refuses to wear any. They get in his way and he'd probably eat them anyway.

Meta knight knows all kinds of languages, and so does Galacta Knight. Mainly because they've been alive for so long. Mk knows at least three (English, spanish and Japanese are the three he's most fluent in), GK is most fluent in the language of the ancients, second comes English, but all the others he knows are mostly basics.

And because of a certain someone I look up to on Tumblr here-- even though Morpho Knight is basically the grim reaper and has encountered many different people who speak many different languages, he only knows two languages. The first language being Spanish, and his second is English.

Kirby (along with MK and all other puffs) has incredible physical strength. Like, could snap your neck with just one nub. (But he would nevER)

I'm gonna say this AGIAN and in EVERY hc post I make, Kine is a Simp.

(idk if I've posted this on here before, but-) Taranza is scared of thunderstorms!! Because Floralia was so high above the clouds, the worst stroms they would get was a heavy mist. So workers would need to travel down to popstar to collect water so they could water their plants and have something to drink. So, ofc, none of the inhabitants of Floralia had ever experienced proper rain, expecially a thunderstorm. So, after Sectonia's defeat, Taranza decided to go and live down on popstar with Kirby, since they were basically the only person they knew or trusted. So Taranzas first thunderstorm was rightfully terrifying. He was sure it was the end of the world and that this was Sectonia's act of vengeance for helping the hero to defeat her.

Dark Meta Knight sounds like Corpse. He's got a really, really deep voice. Basically the kind of voice MK wants.

If you wanted to, you could simply stick your hand through Prince fluff. He's made of yarn afterall- he'd probably look at you and ask you what you're doing. Since he's basically a papercraft creation that looks like he was made by an 8 year old who wanted a kirby-sona, you could probably just... Remove his eyes/ eyebrows with a bit of force. It wouldn't hurt. It would just be a little weird and he would kindly ask for them back...

Imagine Kirby and Fluff are hanging out, play catch, and kirby throws the ball a little too hard at him and hits him and takes out his face-- like--

And here fluff just feels bad about not being able to catch the ball and Kirby's freaking out because since when can your friend detach their face?? Is that normal????? Healthy??????????

So, when I first watched RBAY! I thought that Lady like, Sir Ebrum, Tiff and Tuff were the original royal family and that Dedede had taken over only recently, and they were trying to get him out. You can see where I'm going, so in this essay I will-

Meta Knight HCs part 4

I can fianlly write this one down! Good god, this was a long time coming. Its mostly going be about Meta’s childhood, skills and other small things. Its a sort one, but that all the time I have for now.

Edit: I’ve added a bit more since I won’t be able to make any more HCs for a while. My work has gone from 7 hours to 10-15 hours work thanks to the covid-19 virus. I work at a cleaning and house help place, where we help with laundry, house cleaning, shopping ect, for the handicaped and ill. So thanks to the virus, we become very busy with deliverys to all the places that needs all the help they can get. Hope everyone are haveing a good week/month.

-When Coldswager, Estella and Kickcrack found out about Meta’s real age of 1775,his been at the sickbay for 16 years and both Coldswager and Estella was very concerns about why Meta’s body seems to have bad reactions with a lot of the medicien that was given to him, instead of being somewhere between 3000-5000 years old as his hight, weight and body structure said, the three of them did not believe it at first. It took another 10 trys with the same end results for them to believe it. Arthur was far from happy when he got told of Meta’s true age.

-When Dragato, Nonsurat and Falspar was told that their new little bro to be was infact still a toddler/baby, they could not quiet believe it. It did not help that Meta’s body was physically 3-5 years old. Though they learned over the years that Meta was indeed bearly 2000 years old.

-Theres a high age diffrent between Meta and his brothers. Meta’s age when Kirby meets him is 50 268 years old. His big brothers age are as followed: Dragato’s is 76 279, Nonsurat’s being 65 893 and Falspar’s being 58 785.

-Meta dose not start speaking untill he is 3207 years old, simply thanks to the fact that he did not know that he had the ability to and had learned from his time at the lab that being silent is worth its weight in gold if he wanted to not get eaten or beaten to death. Though he’d would have problemly start speaking sooner had he know how his dad and brothers react to it. He almost got crushed by a hug from Estella when Dragato asked Meta who she was, and got ‘mom esta’. Safe to say she was very happy.

-Meta is smaller than most puff children his age, and along with his blindness, trust issues, truma and fear that he got turing his first 1759 years of life, it became hard for him to be with other children his age without getting in some sort of problem, trouble or misunderstanding. He also became a prime target for bullys and the like. This has been one of the many reasons why Meta is so anti-sosial, though the pain of his friends dying in the war is the biggest reason of them all.

-Meta would spend most of his time playing with Falspar becuse of said bullying and the fact that Falspar was still a child and thuse had more freetime than the rest of the familiy. Meta also played a lot with Nonsurat and Dragato when they where not busy with training or study. When Galacta became friends with Meta things got a little easier for him to make friends.

-Becuse of Meta’s poor health, the puff had to eat a special diet for the next 10 000 pluss years or so. He only got things like junk food, cakes, sweet and fancy food on either his birthday or holidays. Now as a adult he can eat whatever he wants, but he still eats healthy meals most of the time.

-The first time Meta ever got to taste something sweet was when Dragato shared some of his favoritt snacks, strawberries dipped in chocolate and baked apples with honey, and the purple puff swear to this day that fireworks was danceing in his little bros eyes when the dark blue puff got to eat them.

-Meta when he was still a child and small, ended up with two habits that would only show when he was with his family. One being that he would fall alseep on their heads, after a while and out like a light, whenever he ended up on there. None of them mind it. The other one being that he would only accept anything that had something about food from them. -Meta has taught both Tiff and Tuff self defense as well as hidden knife and throwing technique a few decade after NME’s defeat, when all the other villains started to invade Popstar at Lady Like and Sir Ebrum request. Both Tiff and Tuff sees Meta as their honorary wired/cool/smart uncle.

-Meta knows how to swear in eight diffrent languages and can out swear Dark Meta Knight and Dark Galacta Knight at the same time with or without curse words with flying colours. Though the only time anyone hear him swear like that his when you have ROYALLY PISSED HIM OFF HIS ROCKER AND ASKED FOR MOTHER DEATH! He swear most of the time in his head though.

-Meta’s relationshipe with Knuckle Joe and Sirica has over the centuries gone from awkward and tense to familiy friends. Both hunters sees Meta now as their uncle and would often ask Meta about their parents and what the three star warriors would do together when not in battle. They where supriest when they learned that the old warrior had a husband that got seal away 21 203 years ago and both felt bad for the puff.

-Meta and Dark Meta as a very intreresting, distructive, annoying and bad relationshipe. The two of them have a hard time not trying to either maim, kill or get on the others nerv. Both has a burning hatred for the other, and there are very few things the two of them are willing to agree, share or help on with the other. However, the both of them are very happy to team up when their husbands decides to destroy eachother and the univers with them though. Both of them hates it when its happends.

-Meta is someone that even the best of psychiatrist would find as a struggeling nightmare to help. The old warrior has had so many trumas, mental breakdowns, seen enough shit to last a few lifetimes and more that many of them are amazed how he is still as some sanity left. Some would say that the puffs psychic is a utter mystery for their profession.

Meta Knight and Dedede headcanons?

Meta knight

- Yes, I do have the Metaknightamre hc but i go about it differently 

- Meta Knight was a product of Nightmare wanting to create a puff like being but made solely with dark matter so he falls into the Beta categories of monsters

- He moved his way up in the ranks and eventually became Nightmare’s appointed knight however Meta knight was never the heir to nightmare rather he would be passed along to whoever would overthrow nightmare or if he somehow keeled over

- Meta knight was the one who thought of nightmare as a father figure and with this Nightmare practically convinced him to do his dirty work under the guise of him “bonding” with him until he realized what he was doing and ran off 

- In the in-between stage of him deciding to flee he helps save a young Galacta and his family escape one of the raids of nightmare

- after that he at first didn’t want to get involved in the war against nightmare at all until much later in his adult life

King Dedede

This is the part where my lore goes back and forth from devastation from cannon and then going back to it so some stuff from the anime is retconned  as well as the game cannon

- His family did control dreamland at some point but his mother decided to forfeit control 

- Dedede has a inferiority complex and because of that he would do anything at least live up to the legacy his family left behind even if that meant ordering monsters and straight up lying to others and durring the process he broke the star rod to make sure that no one in dreamland could challenge him and so that he could stop nightmare from having complete control

- after kirby and co defeat nightmare oh Boy does he get it

- Everyone makes sure that he knows he screwed up especially his council (which composed of Lady Like, Sir Ebrum, and Escargoon) and they controlled things for a wile until they decided what to do with him until they decide that They’d be the ones in control but he could still hold his title until he proved himself

- and so for a while No One would give him any sort of grace and he knew fully well that no one had the right to forgive him so the bad things that he did were mild in comparison to the Nightmare thing until the beginning of the dark matter invasion 

- No one believed him when he saw that something wasn’t quite right until they saw him get possessed and it was too late

- since this goes back and fourth for a while people just leave him alone until he begins with small apologies to people that were the most affected until it turns into straight up jealousy for Kirby since Kirby is generally well liked and tries to one up him all the time
