i heard it was kinda like cheese with kataifi or something, i mean i love kataifi so i gotta eventually try this if i can find some

I’ve never heard of kataifi before, but it looks very similar to rolled knafeh, but filled with ground nuts instead of cheese.  Greece is right next to the Levant, so it’s not surprising it’s so similar.  Cool!

If you can find a Palestinian or Syrian or Turkish community they might know where to find knafeh.
