also i love thinking about what their relationship to dwarven culture must be like. again, treated like shit on their shoe but then once you kill the archdemon you get invited back to Orzammar and made paragon. they don’t change the way they treat casteless in general, but they suddenly want to claim a relationship with you once you make something of your life.

the transition from Orzammar diets to topside diets has to be brutal. These mfers spend their entire lives eating, like, lichen and whatever fungus they can scrape off the walls, as well as bugs and a big rock cow that’s probably also eating moss and rocks. Their alcohol is, like, particularly toxic. These fuckers are irradiated. Farmers on the topside or not, either dwarf warden spends the at least the first month utterly sunburnt and in bowel hell. Probably covered in hives. Just the worst time.
