Last song I listened to: it was on the radio in the car earlier, and I can’t for the life of me remember what it was. Sorry.
Last movie I watched: it was another rewatch of Groundhog Day
Top three favourite shows: currently it’s QI, The Fast Show (reboot on Dave) and Strike: Lethal White
Top three favourite bands: the top three bands according to albums I own are: The Beatles, Bee Gees, and Eurthymics (I’ve bought more audio CDs than band CDs lately, and it shows)
Books I Am Reading: where do I even start with this? I’m currently reading through another box set of m|m romances, in the middle of some old opera-based m|f romances by Mary Burchell, have just sobbed at the end of the Adrian Mole books by Sue Townsend (because it paralleled her own loss to cancer - the books are funny but the knowledge is bittersweet), have just bought the Homecoming box set by H.J Welch, and my son has promised to loan me his Richard Ayoade books.

IRL Kaamelott parisienne ⚔️🛡️
Salut, bande de pécores ! Comme vous le savez, Le Film™ aurait dû sortir mercredi prochain, le 29 juillet. Mais la patience est un plat qui se mange sans sauce...
Avec @nael-opale , on s'est dit que ce pourrait être une bonne idée d'organiser la première IRL parisienne des Petits Croustillants à cette date, histoire de rester thématique avec la faute.
Donc nous vous donnons rendez-vous le mercredi 29 juillet au parc Montsouris ! Ramenez de quoi pique-niquer et vos plus beaux headcanons. L'heure est encore à définir et le lieu peut changer, n'hésitez pas à reblogger avec vos propres disponibilités. En outre, on pourra toujours dans un second temps organiser une seconde IRL fin août, pour celleux qui n'ont pas pu venir à la première.

Personal note before we start - I’m not good at making choices nor short sentences. So here you go : some convoluted thoughts about my own preferences ! 🌈✨
➳ rules: tag 8 people you want to get to know better and then answer these questions
➳ favorite color : my favorite color changed a lot, I’m very sensitive to colours. I’ve been particularly vibing with peacock blue for a while, because I have nothing but positive associations with this colour.
Blue and green are beautiful, it’s nice to find something just in between.
➳ last song : Last Party by Mika, orchestral version. Very melancholic song, makes me think about my mutuals for some odd reason I tried to explain to Yvain today.
➳ last tv show : I’ve just finished She-Ra and the princesses of Power, I keep going back to Kaamelott, I’m about to start watching Hero Corp very soon.
➳ sweet, spicy or savory : I’d say savory. I like a bit of spice but I can’t handle real spicy, I’m too soft for that. Love baking sweet stuff (especially cookies).
➳ bubbly water, tea or coffee : I love plain water and hot chocolate better, but let’s go for tea. I love the smell and even if I like coffee, it’s a bit too bitter for me to truly enjoy it. I’m very slowly reconciliating with fizzy drinks but I don’t get and will never understand the appeal of bubbly water. It just tastes bad and it hurts my mouth.

secret santa kaamelott noël 2020 ???
ok alors qui serait intéressé par un secret santa pour le fandom cet année ? le principe c’est que chacun tire quelqu’un d’autre au sort (mettons le 1er décembre), et a jusqu’au 24 pour lui préparer un petit cadeau, que ce soit fanart, fic, fanvid etc (en secret, comme le nom l’indique, et le jour de noël tu découvres le nom de ton père noël secret en même temps que ton cadeau) !
je pourrais m’occuper d’organiser l’attribution des secret santas et tout ça d’ici le 1er décembre s’il y a suffisamment de gens intéressés, alors manifestez vous dans les notes de ce post (edit : en écrivant soit dans les commentaires soit dans les notes, si vous likez juste je saurai pas) et on verra en fonction !

@drtonks façon intéressante de rappeler la distinction entre l’extra-textuel et l’intra-textuel, et aussi de se demander : pourquoi on trouve que bohort pourrait être gay ? parce qu’il est efféminé ? perso je considérerais pas forcément ça comme du queerbaiting d’avoir un personnage de mec efféminé, célibataire, qui n’est au final pas gay, parce que le caractériser comme gay dans sa tête, de la part du spectateur, reposerait en partie sur des stéréotypes quoi

Are you staying home from work/school?
Not really, I'm supposed to work from home. But these days, I'm on sick leave (not due to the Covid-19, don't worry, but because my mental health isn't great).
Are you a homebody?
Yes, usually I mostly stay home with books, Netflix (and now Disney+), video games... But I miss going outside, for example reading in a park or going to the movies. And I miss my friends.
What movies have you watched recently?
I’ve took Disney+’s essay week, so I’ve rewatched Moana (called Vaiana, in France) and The Sword In The Stone (Merlin l'Enchanteur). I’ve also watched a lot of Pixar’s short movies, like Lava. And I plan to rewatch Maleficent and The Black Cauldron (Taram et le Chaudron Magique).
An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled?
The Cartoon Fair!! It’s a French convention about cartoons (obviously) and it takes place in May, at Rouen. I was planning to go as Stevonnie and to offer a fanart to Grace Rolek, Connie’s voice actor in Steven Universe. I was really looking forward to it and I hope it will be postponed.
What music are you listening to?
The same things as usual: Hozier (mostly Movement, From Eden) and Nina Cried Power) and the Steven Universe soundtrack (especially True Kinda Love, Other Friends and Stronger Than You - that I’m currently listening at). I also listen at my writing playlist for Kaamelott (Era, Luc Arbogast and The Corrs, mostly), @iloveallofyounerds ‘s Kaamelott soundtracks about Arthur, Lancelot and the two of them (IDIOTS), and recently, the Moana soundtrack. Oh, and I’ve discovered the last album of Within Temptation on Deezer (Resist), so I listen at this too. I really like The Reckoning, Raise Your Banner and Holy Ground.
What are you reading?
As book: Vernon Subutex, tome 2, by Virginie Despentes
As fanfiction: a long Kaamelott fanfiction about a trans knight, and I really like it so far. Also, I’m very happy I’m not the only Kaamelott fic writer with trans OCs!!
What are you doing for self care?
Writing Kaamelott fanfictions and making researches about the Arthurian legends or the Middle Ages for it ; rewatching Kaamelott, Steven Universe and Disney movies ; playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Choices: Blades Of Light and Shadow, Raid: Shadow Legend and The Sims 4 ; doing sport, napping and cooking.
