The intro and setup it the same as the original, until she hits him with her car - he's dead. So incredibly and clearly dead forever that, after a brief panic, she lugs his corpse into her car and back to her home and Josh. Josh, intuitive as he is, notices his wife's panic and tries to find out what's wrong. For her part she very quickly comes clean and in a slurry of words and sobs tells Josh everything. Josh, ever loyal and realizing this was clearly a mistake, agrees - against his better judgement - to help dispose of the body.

It is the first night after burying the body and the couple are both laying in bed. Subtlety the pov fully shifts to Josh for the first time as he prepares to comfort his insomniac and now surely guilt-ridden wife. Josh rolls over to face her and gasps....

She's fast asleep.
