Totally innocuous post for JRWI fans!!

Which characters have you seen be the subject of genuine and in depth discussions of characterisation, motivations, backstories, etc?

^^^ This is a bit of a tricky question to phrase so let me give some examples. An example could be a lengthy essay on a PC's trauma and how it affect their actions in campaign. It could be someone's extensive headcanon of a minor character's backstory. Another example could be someone dumping about a villain's motivations and internal thoughts. Maybe someone just like draws them a bunch and constantly yells BLORBO, idk. Stuff along those lines.

Harlem Shade's skin is described to be "tan". It's unclear whether that means he is a person of color, with the color of his skin being "tan", or if he is white with a sun tan.

Despite being a frog person with no applicable race by our standards, Felipe's name might imply him to be Latina-coded. There was also a joke made in one of the episodes about Felipe's feywild name being "doritos locos tacos" which, offensive as it is, furthers the implication.

In more recent art, Drey Ferin has been drawn as having brown skin. However, Drey's brother, Jayson, is significantly lighter in skin tone than him, as well as has red hair, which is highly uncommon among poc. This could either imply they are children of and interracial couple, or that Drey is just more sun-tanned.

Sugarhill Ddot Signs To Priority Records

Sugarhill Ddot, one of the most prominent emerging artists in New York City, has signed to Priority Records. The 15-year-old prodigy – whose name is a nod to the historic Harlem neighborhood of Sugar Hill, where he grew up – is the first artist to sign to Priority since esteemed creative executive Orlando Wharton came on board at Capitol Music Group (CMG) to relaunch the legendary hip hop label.

Orlando Wharton, Executive Vice President of Capitol Music Group and President of Priority Records, said, “We’re bringing New York back. Sugarhill Ddot is a star in the making to ignite the resurgence of Priority Records.”

Sugarhill Ddot added, “Being signed to Priority Records is a blessing. I thought being a signed artist would never be possible. I’m grateful for this opportunity.”

While coming up in the Harlem drill scene, Sugarhill Ddot received co-signs from such artists as Drake and Lil Durk. His releases – which include “Evil Twins” and “Evil Twins, Pt. 2” with the late Notti Osama, “Lost Boy,” “I Wanna Love You,” and “40s N 9s” with DD Osama – consistently rack up millions of streams and YouTube views.
