So it’s been a bit. At this point... I think I’ve made the decision to end this blog.

Of the few who interacted, I thank you. There is no words to describe how much joy I felt when I saw a notif that someone was asking something.

I look at the fandom now and jsab... no longer inspires me. The stories people made here were wonderful, but now I just look around and every time I look at a discord server or a blog I just get this feeling of dread. I don’t know what that dread is or why, but it’s there.

Either way, I still love this story. Many of the oc’s I made I’m keeping, and some of the other characters Im redesigning. It’s been a massive honor to interact with this place, heck it might be the reason why I’m less afraid to share my stories with friends.

At this point, I don’t think I’ll be looking back at this place. So I’ll be saying goodbye... officially. I hope I brought a smile to someone, and maybe I will come back. Maybe you’ll see an askblog with them in another time. For now, this place will no longer be updated in the near future.

Thank you For asking and reading. ill be talking about the story on my main blog, @dragonofcupcake. Ask me anything there about this place or my other stories and I’ll happily respond. its not over for these characters, nor For this story. For the blog though... it is.

This isn’t the last time you’ll hear from me. If anyone likes WOF and HLVRAI, me and a few other people are making an au for it. The blog should be up soon. I’ll be writing for it, actually. I know a lot of jsab fans like one or the other, so maybe check it out?

Either way, it was nice to see meet you all. It was great to share this story with you in this way.

Now the curtains close, and the theater is empty. A story, told of one forgotten will find a new fire to share their tale around. Keep creating, my friends. Don’t let anyone stop you.

when I was younger I used to name like, all my stuff, but I feel like I ran out of names? now since they’re all different plants I just call them what kind of plant they are, the asparagus ferns or the snap dragons or so on. (my snap dragons are still in full bloom in november! wow.) it is super cute that your friend names all her plants tho, that’s just so affectionate. plants are very good to have.

a few days late because we were busy getting ready for my partner to be out of town -n-

highlights from the past couple weeks include [pumpkin carving], a [christmas comic] in october because no one can stop me, and [space] doing super well for reasons unknown.

also please remember to vote if you’re at all able to! it’s not a magical cure-all, but it actually can make things concretely better. (for example in my city there’s a ballot measure to allow the city council to reduce the duties of the sheriff’s department.) thank you for everyone’s enthusiasm on [pumpkin], I do not have a lot of experience with carving but I have done a lot of other crafting, so I figured out how to go slow and really approach it more like peeling than cutting pretty quickly. (not immediately tho hence the toothpick lol)

aw that sucks :( baking can be kind of unforgiving of even small deviations, and it took me a while to fully internalize that the toothpick test actually does work lol (when you stick a toothpick into the center of your baking to test if it was baked all the way through) but everything can improve with practice!

it seems that [reminder] resonated with a lot of people, which I’m happy about. it’s easy to mix up the two even when you already know the difference.

highlights from the past couple weeks:

a commission for a friend of their oc gorbified [here]

the valentine’s stickers separated out into individual valentines [here]

another patreon drawing for this month of lukeperiodsun and their partner gorbified [here]

new throw pillow design posted on [society6] (as well as relisting the blanket design from november)

finally added a tag for kirby’s bear [kirbear], and a general tag for [plushies]

more [lolita kirb] because it’s my blog and I choose the aesthetic :v

there is also a new image description [here] by @crowsami on the kirby running through a field. thank you very much! (and I hope your assignment went okay :> )

and sticker club design and signups should be posted on monday march 1st :> $5 patreon tier for a 4-sticker sheet, charged on april 1st and shipped hopefully promptly after. (I have a theme picked out already :3 and yes, if you want to combine two tiers we can make that happen.)

I guess it’s been a busy couple weeks, huh!
