Our Wonderland Themesongs Masterpost or Whatever
Out of excitement for the Our Wonderland finale (which is coming out next month!), I've written an incredibly long post sharing one song I associate with each of the main 4 characters (and also Cecil is there), as well as songs for my favorite ships. Come imagine AMVs with me, under the cut!~
To start off, a song that I associate broadly with the plot of OW is Leopard by Jack Stauber. For most of the other songs, I'll pick out certain lyrics to highlight/site my sources lol, but with this one I'd prefer not to because all of the lyrics are The Lyrics. Coldplay. I am absolutely mesmerized by how popular they are, because every single song of theirs I’ve ever heard gets on my last nerve.
A childhood memory that you remember vividly:
I used to do ballet and got to perform in a huge theatre once. I remember hanging out backstage, watching the older dancers, getting to see what the lighting crew was doing… It was a brilliant time, though the hassle to get hair and make-up done had a lot of people yelling and losing the plot. (I learned how to do stage make-up myself when I was a lil older, partially because that’s how you roll in drama classes but also because of that experience hahaha!)
Least favorite animal and why:
Listen. Listen to me. We do not need lightbulb fish. We do not need them. We do not require their presence in our waters.
Hot fandom take:
Do you know how many hot takes can fit in me? It’s a lot. I’m going to go with two hot takes because it’s my party and y’all have never ever seen me post one to this blog before.
Numero uno: readerfic is not OC fic, OC fic is not readerfic. If you name your character, it’s an OC. Even if you write them in first or second person POV. If you write Y/N, it’s readerfic no matter how much backstory you try to chuck at it. Learn to tag it properly. A fic cannot have both the canon character/OC and canon character/reader tags. Please do my last remaining pieces of sanity a favor and don’t make me read Y/N with my own two eyeballs just because you mistagged your fic.
Numero two: smut belongs under the cut. I don’t make the rules. If you start your fic with smut of any kind, put it under a readmore. Especially do this if that smut contains highly specific kinks. Aside from the fact that there are minors on this website who’ve got no business being subjected to that, people should be given the choice whether they want to see that level of smut on their daily newspaper dashboard scrollthrough first thing in the morning.

I have Tom Cruise blacklisted on this hellsite for good reason. The good reason being that I think he’s batshit and that people should stop entertaining his presence in anything. I’m not drinking that cult juice, thanks.

Least favorite ship in a fandom you’re in:
At the risk of getting utterly disowned by a good number of folks that follow me: Webgott. I have gone for an outing or two in this ship, if memory serves me correctly, and I think I understand why people like it. I love banter in a ship as much as the next person, and the push-pull of opposites can be fun. But I also think Lieb deserves a lot more than someone who’s fundamentally at odds with his life and his POV. I think that the discussion they have in that final ep is indicative of something so major that it is a dealbreaker in that ship. (Plus, Web is just… not my fave character. Putting this mildly.)
What’s the most toxic fandom you’ve been in?
Vikings. Hands down, no contest. Absolute toxic cesspool of lies, backstabbing, and badmouthing. There are a few very good reasons why I’m no longer on speaking terms with people I used to call friends (at least one of whom was also in our lovely little war fandom back in the day) and why I’ve all but given up on doing any new gifsets or writing in that fandom for the foreseeable future.

hi im sorry if this is not the place for this because its not positivity so please tell me if you know of a better place to ask but i need some advice and have no idea where else to turn??
not asking for myself as i am a singlet but my best friends of several years are a system and i would like to know for helping them.
an old fictive of theirs resurfaced who was originally around back long before they realized they were a system. the problem comes in with a mutual close friend of ours who is their irl friend they see in person occasionally but is exclusively my online friend. i have known them several years as well. this mutual friend has said before that if my best friends split any fictives of this character they would make fun of them. between this and how this friend treats said fictive's source character my best friends are therefore uncomfortable mentioning this fictive even exists. they do not trust our friend to be respectful.
how in hell do they go about this?? i do not want to see my best friends or anyone else get hurt here and we both already have had some unrelated tension with this mutual friend.
Hi! Although we do sincerely appreciate your concern for your friends, this may be something for a conversation between your system friend and your mutual friend.
Your mutual friend may not understand much about plurality, fictives, or system life, and may think that they’re making a harmless joke when it is in fact hurtful and offensive. If this is the case, perhaps you can help educate them more on plurality, share resources, and help them understand that in most systems, fictives do not get to choose their sources. Helping share the load of education with your system friend may make it easier for both of you to help your mutual friend learn more about fictives.
Maybe you can try to remind your mutual friend that for many systems, individual alters or headmates feel like their own people, and develop alongside or separately from the rest of the system. Fictives aren’t just “characters who live in systems’ heads;” they are their own, unique individuals, and exist outside their source as a part of the real world. They’re not character, blorbos, protags/antags, or plot devices. They are unique individuals and are as deserving of autonomy and respect as you, me, and anyone else.
At the end of the day, you may need to remind your mutual friend that respecting others should matter more than making jokes at other people’s expense. It may be a difficult conversation to have, but if you really want to support your system friend, going to bat for them by encouraging your mutual friend to treat others with kindness and respect may be the best thing you can do.
Be sure to ASK your system friend before trying to broach this subject with your mutual friend! Your system friend may feel blindsided or at least not appreciate their fictives being talked about or discussed behind their back. And remember that both you and your system friend don’t owe your mutual friend anything - if they refuse to be respectful or won’t stop making fun of your system friend’s headmates, you can set up and reinforce boundaries, or take a step back from the relationship for a while.
Being disrespectful and making fun of others isn’t cool and it isn’t funny. Jokes at other people’s expense are just sad and hurtful. Hopefully y’all can get your mutual friend to understand this. Regardless, we wish you and your friends the best of luck figuring this out!

3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?
My vampire!Fox fic "Queen of Hearts". It is arguably the best fic I have ever written, and my longest one-shot to date. I love everything about this fic. The setting, the plot, the characters, the tension, the world building, and the hidden themes are all top tier.
10. What work was the quickest to write?
So, anything from my 100 Follower Celebration would be the quickest work I ever wrote. Those had a max of 100 words each. Some of them took longer than others because I would teeter on 98 or 102 words and have to figure out a way to shave it back. The most popular drabble from that event is "Let's Get Physical."
15. What WIP(s) are you taking into next year with you?
*cracks knuckles* I thought you'd never ask. This answer is for all my readers who are desperately waiting for me to update my series fics. (Fics are listed in order of importance for updating/writing)
"Infectious" - Plan to update in the first quarter and complete by the second
"A Man's Worth" - Plan to update in the first quarter and complete by the second
"Beloved" - Plan to update in the first quarter, but no plans to complete in 2024 (This fic will be a long series. I already have 20 pages of notes written for it)

Ooooooh, this is a tough one!!! I have so many favorite lines that I've written!!! Maybe I'll have to give you a few...
I love all of the banter between Fives and Kix in Chapter 1 of "Beloved", but this was my favorite:
“Contraception isn’t one hundred percent effective,” Kix explains. “Abstinence is, but we both know you don’t have any of that.”
There was a lot of great banter and humor in "Fortunately Unfortunate" but this was one of my favorites:
Violet’s jaw drops and she turns to you. “Are these guys for real?”
“I assure you ma’am,” Sinker says. “We are, in fact, real clones.”
You start to snicker and Violet throws her hands up in defeat. “You know what, I’ve had enough for one day.” She takes her dusty and torn apron off and tosses it on the ground with the rest of the debris. “I do not get paid enough to deal with clowns!”
“Don’t you mean, clones?” Boil asks.
“I meant what I said!” Violet yells back as she navigates around the debris to the exit.
And then there's this scene in "Queen of Hearts" that I adore:
“Fox!” you yell. “What are you doing in my bed?”
Fox doesn’t move, but mumbles into the pillow. “Sleeping.”
“Why are you sleeping in my bed?” you demand.
Fox nuzzles the pillow gently. “It’s comfy.”
Your mouth falls open at his answer, but you really aren’t sure what you were expecting. “How did you even get in here?”
“The door,” he murmurs sleepily.

I am looking to write a heavily NSFW Servant!Nagito Komaeda AU in which he's dragged back into despair/put back in his Servant era after the events of dr2. He will try to resist but inevitably give in and remember his place. I'm looking for something pretty intense. My limits/hard no's are scat, diapers, incest, death and anything involving children or animals. I want your character to use and abuse him. I'm talking make him your 24/7 free use pet, invite your characters friends over to partake if you're okay with writing multiples, make him work a glory hole, bdsm, toys and all sorts of devices, orgasm control, degradation, humiliation, make him clean your house and be your furniture etc etc. I am open to a toxic angsty stockholm syndrome style romance if you want it to go that route but it doesn't have to. I'm a woman in my late 20s and I am most comfortable with other AFAB writers in my age range, but I am open to writing with generally anyone over 18 so long as they're absolutely sure they're comfortable with my age and won't be weird or creepy ooc. I would most love to write him against canon characters (I am really into the idea of Izuru, Junko, Kokichi or Korekiyo in this role please please please) but I'm totally open to crossovers as long as I know the source material and you know Danganronpa. Hello darling ❤️ gosh I can't even pick one but like, god— PROTECTOR. I actually wanted to wait for it to be posted in full before reading it all at once but like, I know how much you love the relationships between the characters in the fic and how messy and nuanced and just shsksjs they are. (the brotherly dukexiety in particular is 🥺✨👌🏽👏🏽😭). So can you talk a bit more about that? Like, the relationships between each character etc? I would love to hear you ramble about the Bois 💜💚
God, the relationships. The relationships in this fic are my favorite part and also the bane of my fucking existence. They are the entire reason this fic is 111,000 words and not like, 45,000. Well, that and the fact that Virgil and Janus flat out refused to talk about anything, and then they refused to talk about everything at the same time, and then by the time they finally got to the point I needed them to in order to move the plot forward it was goddamn chapter 18.
But mostly it was Virgil’s fault. Virgil was supposed to be angry at the core sides and stay angry at the core sides, but no, he had to start caring about them, which overrode just enough of his anger to make everything way more complicated, the little shit. Virgil’s relationship with Remus was actually the easy one, he was always supposed to care about Remus to the point of causing problems for everyone else. What he wasn’t supposed to do was start caring about Remus’ stupid asshole princey brother, or the softie Patton, or the robot Logan, or the actual asshole that abandoned them in the first place. Virgil you’re supposed to be a prick, why do you have to secretly be such a softie?
Anyway, yeah, specifics. Writing Patton and Virgil was fun because I got to make a ton of bonding and tender moments and symbolism out of things like Patton showing Virgil how to cook or do the laundry. They’re the entire reason I love writing realistic fiction, I get to shove so much character into those moments. It’s not about the laundry guys, it’s about they love each other!
Logan and Virgil was supposed to be how Virgil learned a couple coping skills without Logan realizing that’s what was happening, but then Virgil accidentally stumbled into a friendship that worked really well for both of them. Virgil being surprised that he cared so much about his time sitting with Logan was a bit of a surprise to me too. Honestly so much of this story was Virgil telling me through the writing “my feelings about this have changed” and me going “seriously? Okay I guess we’re doing this now, great”
Roman and Virgil were probably the most similar to how they are in canon, in that they fought quite a bit until something forced a perspective change, the only difference being the perspective change was caused by Janus. I do remember when I sent you (Mishii) the “Why do you have to be so much like our brother” line and we both just started screaming “OUR BROTHER” back and forth xD
Virgil and Janus, as I said, were this story’s biggest stallers. They didn’t want to talk. They didn’t want to do it they didn’t want to talk and no matter how many times I got at their feet and begged them they just wouldn’t do it they’re so goddamn stubborn I can’t take it—
Anyway they have the most complicated relationship throughout the story, for obvious reasons. Virgil’s dealing with the very difficult situation of realizing that someone who was shitty family to you is very good family to other people, and it’s naturally gonna cause some confusing and complicated feelings. These two still have a bit to go for the rest of the story, but the place they end is both inevitable and fucking exhausting for me, the author.
Virgil and Thomas were about how they were in canon, just in a different order. Thomas is kind and understanding at first because that’s who he is, and learns things about Virgil he later thinks are lies but are actually true. So his feelings fluctuate a lot, while Virgil’s stay positive throughout, whether it’s complicated love, uncomplicated love, complicated love again, and ending on uncomplicated love. Thomas is always his Thomas, it’s just his behavior that’s changing.
And Virgil and Remus, despite being the story’s most important relationship, are also the least complicated one. They’re just ride or die brothers and best friends who have each others back, and I love them for it. Guys, thank you for staying consistent for me and just agreeing that you love each other, you made my job slightly more easy than it would have been.
Anyway. Wow this got long. Fuck characters having free will. It makes the story better but it is fucking annoying for me.

"post-canon where jongwoo listens to seokyoon's new song on the radio (Strangers From Hell)"
Why is this so cute(or so sad?), tell me more??
Let's see what I can tell you about this one...
As you can imagine, it is a(nother) Seokyoon Lives AU.
In the story, Jongwoo didn't leave alone when Seokyoon asked him to stay. He left with Seokyoon, supporting his body to help him walk, all the way to the hospital, to get his ankle checked by a doctor.
The next day, he got the news about Jaeho's death, and left Seokyoon in the safety of the hospital to go to the funeral.
Everything else happens exactly the same way as it did in canon—except now Jongwoo has one more witness to testify in his favor.
Seokyoon believes the same story as the media and the police: 304 killed his accomplices, and Jongwoo killed 304 in self-defense.
Seokyoon feels really sorry for Jongwoo, for everything that happened, but is also grateful that the nightmare is over, and that he'll never have to see 304 again.
They part ways but keep in contact with each other, occasionally texting/calling, but Jongwoo is rarely up to hang out. Seokyoon thinks he understands why. Jongwoo is still processing everything that happened to him. Maybe Seokyoon's presence makes the process harder, by reminding him of Eden. So, with that in mind, he withdraws, giving Jongwoo the space and time he needs to heal.
Meanwhile, on his side, Seokyoon can't seem to think about anything other than Eden. The memories are still too vivid in his memory.
When he can't ignore them, he pulls them out in the best way he can: through his lyrics.
And who could predict people are into that shit? All the trauma eventually got him a deal with a record label, after blowing up on Youtube. His 1st album is in the making. It seems that his life is finally taking a turn for the better.
Now, it has been months since he last talked to Jongwoo. He texts him to let him know about his progress, his album, and to wish him strength. He still remembers that Jongwoo was working on a book, and he hopes fate will favor him as well, presenting him with a good harvest after the hardships.

.... Everything I told you till now is the background of the actual story, which is Jongwoo reacting to one of the songs from Seokyoon's album. The song is about their time at Eden. His memories of Jongwoo are filled with fondness and respect, and he's described as kind and reliable; a good person, and his savior.
But Seokyoon also talks about 304, and about what he did to them. Not in detail, and he uses many metaphors, but it's easy to distinguish their roles. He paints 304 as a monster, and Jongwoo as his helpless victim, shattered to pieces. In the end, against all odds, he defeats the monster, and both him and Seokyoon come out of hell as survivors, together.
When the song ends, Moonjo, who is still very much alive and was listening to it with Jongwoo, suggests (for what it seems the hundredth time) that they get rid of Seokyoon to stop him from babbling about them. Make it look like an accident, now that he's a little famous, pretty please, babe?
They have a half-hearted discussion about it. Jongwoo is too distracted by his memories and for being publicly misrepresented—although, all things considered, both Jongwoo and Moonjo are well aware that it's for the best, and Seokyoon is actually doing them a favor.

So, in conclusion, I'd say the plot is neither cute nor sad, exactly. You get post-canon established Jongmoon, which is kinda cute in their own way, and a little angst on Seokyoon and Jongwoo's part. Character studies made by the own characters.
This one is more about reflecting on past events than about action in the present.

Omg!!
Your wip list is so amazing. So many stories mythology inspired stories. Tell me more about the forest Grump fic and the Norse mythology book. Also do you have a AO3?
First of all, thank you very much, it really makes me happy to read that ! 💚
for the book on Norse mythology, I'm at the very first drafts, but I have the general idea! I don't know if you know Madeline Miller and her books The Song of Achilles and Circe, but that's what gave me the idea. in the same way that she tells Greek myths by making us see them differently, I would write about Norse myths. I would like to rewrite them in a modern way to show them from a new angle.
I had thought telling the story of Brunnhilde (or Brynhildr or whatever the spelling haha, there are so many) because I find it interesting ! I wrote some little parts, nothing extraordinary but not too bad ! Maybe i'll write about other norse myths characters after that
Annnnd for the "Sylki Forrest Gump fic", well, it all started from this post i made a while ago, where i showed this scene of the Forrest Gump movie (my favorite movie) that i find so beautiful and i said that i loved this scene and would like to see this kind of scenes but with Loki and Sylvie. After that i started thinking it would be cool to write a Sylki fanfiction inspired by this movie. I really don't have the idea in detail yet. I would take the plot of the movie, changing some details to fit with Sylvie and Loki... And I want to keep the atmosphere, the spirit of the movie, but with Sylki. I've written one scene. And that's in english !
I have an AO3, but i haven't published anything yet. If I find the confidence to do it, I'll do it in september i guess ! I am crxzydiamxnd if i remember well

I thought that I’d go through and type out a couple that I’d like to know about and that ended up being most of them, don’t feel pressured to answer all of them. I am only capable of writing 1 story at a time so I’m basically holding off on uh everything until this blog is done. I am very excited to get to write more for my other AUs. Like my “New eden” au which is like the sides happening to meet at a specialized inpatient and there’s loceit and rem(2) and angst and stuff. And I got 2 others i’m excited for bc they’ve got lots of worldbuilding and i havent done much of that in my writing but when i made those AUs i realized i really dig worldbuilding. I am planning on letting y’all vote on which of my AUs should get an askblog when this story is done btw
2) what work of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?
Jfkfk the one stucky fic i wrote at like 12. In 1 chapter i put in a self insert and had cap validate my non binaryness. Apparently i thought it was so embarasing i have deleted several chapters from it but i dont remember actually doing that
3) what order do you write in? front of book to back? chronological? favorite scenes first? something else?
Front to back babeyyyy always. Sometimes i scribble down a future scene so i dont forget it but otherwise its all first scene to last

I really did enjoy writing Roman as Jaws in my James Bond au just bc it was such a stupid concept. I also have a soft spot for my son Envy. Before Remus existed Envy was my green side. He was also a gremlin. I love writing dogs <333 Thomas as a dog <3 Roman as a dog <3 Virgil as a big fluffy service dog <333

I usually tell people i write. Usually not that i write fanfic

I always have to have music on or i cant concrentate. Cant even sit in the same room as other people while writing if theyre chatting loudly

Bro i used to over explain everrryyythhing. I know i still ramble a lot and put in way too many details in my writing but somehow i used to be even worse!! I also was one of those who wrote like "The boy with the round glasses said" instead of just saying their goddamn names

Uhm everything? Jk. But i really do think that writing in of itself isn’t my strong suit. I always feel like i use the same words too much. The same metaphors. Same flowery texts. My grammar isn’t good either.

....I.......I just remember it.......in my head...I know, i’m horrible. I have tried to write up timelines but it never works for me. Sometimes I use the brainstorms with my bestie on discord as a type of timeline but most of the time I do just keep everything in my brain. Which is stupid bc my memory sucks
20) do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts?
I really wanna say i prefer longer sit downs but the thing is my attention span is shit so it usually becomes me “writing” for like 3 hours but half the time was spent watching youtube

Not that I can think of. When i’m writing im in control of what happens obviously so things that make me dissociate or super uncomfy if i saw it in my day to day life dont have any negative effect on me bc im the one writing. Tho one thing i stray from writin nowadays is eating disorders

Girl ive looked up the most random shit. Different types of mazes, hotels in kentucky, etc. But really i wouldnt say im an expert on these things but i appreciate how much fics have made me learn about different disabilities. i do have chronic pain and some other shit which has made me put in disabled sides in my fics but its not like i have fibro or im deaf or have a brain injury so i have to read up on this stuff and it’s genuinly fascinating to learn. My fics have also let me learn a lot more about different cultures, in this AUs case i’ve learnt a lot about judaism to write the twins C: i would love to write romani sides in the future bc my family is partially romani but until i do that i like putting in that jewish rep. the fandom needs it hfkjhf

If your'e watching the Persona 5 Royal verison then you dont need to watch the other one. 🙌 Persona 5 royal version is basically an updated version of the OG one where they added more story and characters and it really rounded out the whole game plot wise so you should definitely stick to that one. do you have a favorite character yet?

Ooo yeah it's so weird to come to terms with the concept of getting older and seeing these kids. Especially when you feel like a kid too. And zayum even marriage? I'm not there yet, I'd be pretty excited and surprised when I see a friend get married. Mostly cuz I've never attended a marriage, except my parents but I was like 4 I don't remember it much. But still it's wild just seeing that cuz that is one thing that can define you being an adult if it's a close friend marrying.
Yess we love all people who work hard. Ahaha we are doing this for free. I would say I like to write because I enjoy feeling angst. I mean practically 99% of my stories have some form of angst. And I daydream because dating is hard. But patience is key. And so I shall stay with my writings. It's pretty fun seeing the final outcome and then reading and just feeling that angst and the fluff and all that. And having to write the characters how you like and making them say things. It's 💚💚 that is why I just watched scenes of the lara jean movies because I love the idea, the plot. But for my the new series I'll be writing, I'm def doing character changes. I like the original but you know, all writers are different and I'm taking the story in a different direction.
Ooo that's interesting. I'm heavy on reading books. I mean I used to read more before college, I try to read now but it's hard cuz I don't feel that energy to read. But I like fanfic for the quick story and flair of emotions. Whether angsty or really fluff. With novels it has to build up so I getchu. It's a challenge writing books. Because as a writer you don't want to make it unnecessarily long or dramatically short. And also some people have a hard time fleshing out their characters or the conflicts and stuff and it's like.... question mark? With fics you get away with anything you do. And there's a certain freedom in that. Which is where I find my place of enjoyment.

sense8 (featuring characters representing literally all the letters in lgbt, plus wholesome poly relationships, tho i remember there are some cultural stereotypes there and the plot was p ridiculous to me at times lmao)
the show I’m currently UTTERLY obsessed with - what we do in the shadows 💚💚 comedic “documentary” show about vampires, so fresh because it’s incredibly normal in terms of body types (chubby, fat, hairy, bald) and different cultures (main cast is characters from mexico, iran, uk, us, greece, played by actors who actually have their roots in those countries) and because it doesn’t idealize vampires, instead they are dumb immortals who lived too long on this world to care about appearances or to follow the current times, they are crude, unapologetic, and so incredibly queer. I love them so much. And in terms of bl here - well one ship is becoming canon and gods i’m gonna lose it when the next season airs, one of my otps of all times i adore this stupid vampire x his badass familiar asjfhsdkbjf someone shut me up about them

For Your Love by Park Nodeok (also school bois, we follow a guy who noticed that his hyung has a crush on a guy, having bad experiences about gay relationships from his brother he tries to help the guy, gradually gets interested and starts developing his own feelings... a slow burn which is so believable in its progress, you can really feel the feelings changing and growing, the denial and fear painfully relatable. Also the main character is v chill and fun)
Hidamari Ga Kikoeru by Fumino Yuki (college, treats about disabilities which are not visible such as being mute or deaf, the male lead has severe hearing impairment and deals with a lot of issues because of it, and the story explores it well and respectfully, this whole manga is very wholesome and sweet, also a slow burn, I really like to suffer huh)
Mauri to Ryuu by Moto Haruhira (a series of short stories about gods x humans falling in love, very wholesome and precious 😭 well, warn for some abuse, slavery, war, because the world there is harsh, but the couples are soft and come to rescue if anything happens ;-;)
Dasadanan by Herb Mandu (if you want something light, cute, and funny, slice of life, school as well)
I remember some works by Tanaka Suzuki, like Aitsu no Daihonmei or Muchuu no Hito (slice of life with a lot of humor and some fantasy elements i’d say? Her works tend to be quite abstract and unsettling in the way dreams can be, like everything is fine and normal until you learn one fact or something happens and everyone in the world is normal about it while you suddenly realise that something with that world is very different to what you thought and you just sit there flabbergasted or lose grip of what is happening. It’s been a while since I read those so I don’t remember how much abstraction was here, these were pretty tame I think, I briefly checked out her latest works and let me tell you they’re fcked up lmao)

just a few things off the top of my head cause if i sit down and think about it i will be writing a full on analysis lol
the worldbuilding in general is the main reason i like the first 2 games, i got obsessed with them super young before i was analysing games as games so just the setting and art direction and all these weird scary but believable concepts were something i loved a lot, i remember seeing the trailer for the first game on tv before we had the internet at my house so i had no way to look it up to watch it again so the memory of it was just mutating in my head as this scary underwater thing with a robot i was obsessed with wanting to see for ages, then when i saw the bio2 tv trailer i freaked the fuck out and spent like 3 days rewatching it on the internet channel on the wii bc i didnt have my own laptop lmao
how creative they got with making the science behind everything grounded, like the ghosts being hallucinations of memories stored in adam and the way plasmids arent just unexplainable superpowers
i love morbid scifi and transhumanism and body horror so the big daddies n little sisters were always one of my fav things just from anything, especially appreciate the big daddy process never being explicitly shown and we just get passive details like people being grafted into the suit/the voice modifier jack uses being this scary blender claw and all the stuff in point prometheus scattered about so ur imagination fills in the blanks
eleanor n delta as characters bc i love chars forced into rly tragic bittersweet situations… them especially in good playthroughs bc they both clearly love each other despite them initially being brought together through such horrible circumstances... charles and mark too
also tenenbaum my love my muse my everything i love that they let her be weird and gross and creepy and mean, eleanor too actually i was a weird annoying little girl eating crayons playing it and i was like wow she is literally me................
honestly… i kno people criticise the way they slotted lamb into things in bio2 but i think there was no better way to add anything as big as sofia. its the kindest and most respectful to the lore bio1 lays out as it could be and even tho it cut off a lot directions they could have gone with bio2 i love that they did as much with the concept of ryan trying to erase someone from raptures history as they could and played off that idea to give other characters interesting stories
the level design usually being a nice halfway point between a realistic layout for the locations that you can picture being lived/worked/walked around in as normal and a decent layout for gameplay in general
some of my fav ui design aesthetically, appreciate a game taking the effort to keep ui consistent with theme and art direction and i love the little instructional videos lol, same with some fallout stuff i love really obviously dangerous stuff being presented as a product with little mascots and logos and i love robb waters' artstyle for them and the achievements
theres a lot of instances of it through both games but stuff where mechanics and unavoidable gameplay necessities are woven into the plot, biggest example being the fact that bio1 essentially built its plot around the trope (? probably a better word for it but i cant think of it rn) of having a guide tell you to do things and you have to do them or you cant progress and that turning out to be a manchurian candidate deal where you were doing it because you were conditioned to follow orders, and that in itself being a huge plot point and it being written so tightly into the lore where it doesnt feel out of place because of the whole theme of genetic experimentation

2. NSFW
Just please use logic and respect while thinking. I won’t write about minors.
All fics will be properly tagged. You are responsible for your own media consumption so if you proceed to read something that upsets you, even when there is a ‘read more’ link then that’s on you.
3. Be patient
It’s okay, I understand you want to read your request as soon as possible. But please remember I have other requests too and writing takes time. Besides, I have a life outside of tumblr. I promise I am doing my best.
If I don’t get it to, tumblr might’ve eaten it which means it never got to my inbox. Or then it didn’t mention the character or it was sent when requests were closed, which means I had to delete it (if it was on anonymous).
Another possibility is that I didn’t know how to write it so I have left it in my inbox for the future. Sometimes it is hard to find the right inspiration for a request.

Don’t just ask me to write about a character. (example: Hi, could you write something fluffy about Loki?)
