Standing at the entrance of Maegor's Keep with his family, Daemon's mind wandered into the alley of nostalgia, reminiscing upon the bittersweet memories of their shared love. All before everything shattered right in their hands.

And now, standing there, he could feel the memories reeling in his mind, reflecting deep into his eyes as he felt the love and the ache of heartbreak from years ago.

Blinking back his feelings away, he felt his heart stop as his amethyst eyes looked upon her magnificent form, mature with years of experience in the foreign lands of Essos alongside her husband. Her two children following her, a spiting image of their mother.

Laughter echoed in his head, a perfect symphony of his and her. Soft moans and whimpers; accompanying his grunts as the nights of their passion together resurfaced.

Daevon, her eldest son, was originally his. He knew that, and so did she. But no one else needed to know of it; not that it is necessary until no one suspected anything.

Daemon was young and unaware as he came from Dragonstone, only to be made aware of his sister's wedding to a man who didn't deserve her. No one deserved her; no one but him. But sitting there as Viserys lectured a stoic him and crying (Y/N), he felt the tinge of guilt simmer in him.

"You disgrace me, Daemon! And you had no right to defile our sister but here we are! She is to be married, and you shall remain as far away as physically possible."

Daemon didn't want it; the lecture. He only wanted answers; answer to his many questions: Why can't he marry her? Why is he not compatible enough for her? Who knows her better than him? Who is better for her than him?

But it seemed that he didn't need to ask them as Viserys continued his rambling. "She is far better than you; too pure for your damned soul. You are just a man made ugly by the darkness which lurks in your heart. A darkness I intend on keeping away from (Y/N)!"

In a fortnight, she was married, right in front of his eyes with a grim expression while her husband placed a kiss over her plump and full lips, painted bright rosy. The tears in her eyes gone unnoticed by all but him.

It had been a bit less than a decade since it; since he witnessed that foreign lord pry your legs open, since your sweet, sinful moans turned into small whimpers of pain.

It was cruel; how Viserys thought it right to have the council witness the union being consummated. It was cruel how he had made Daemon watch her clinging onto the pristine white sheets to find a way to cope with the pain.

And even then, he loved her; more than anything or anyone in the world.

i was binging the shayne guesses series and it pushed me to compile some of my all time favorite shows. i tried for a top 3 but i still rambled my way tru rest of those in different levels of "favorites"

top 3 favorite shows

i was focusing on the shows that i thought about and rewatched the most (not by a metric of a ''perfect'' show, also newer stuff i watched that i really liked doesnt really have a chanse at beating these at this point guess lol. im fully giving into personal involvement) unf. one of the creators of black books turned out to be a raging transphopic but random moments from this show occupies my brain so much that i cant pass it off easily. also tamsin dylan and bill is an exceptional trio! (<3 bran and fernard <3) so much on screen charisma, this is my original awful disfunctional (un)loveble but charming friend group that i felt deep connection with, akin to its always sunny in phildelphia, which i loved the first couple seasons of but never come around to watching rest of it for some reason.

some very honorable mentions under.. (and one or two not that honorable lol) and a lot of ramblings/thoughts that go barely anywhere, only for my sake!

both of these shows are dealing with gender and sexuality in a certain way lol. (for berserk i only watched season 1 (1997), newer one looks ugly. never watched it doesnt count. .p i wish i could read mangas without getting distracted but honestly whatever was given to us for that season i thought was just enough. i like shows that doesnt try to cover everything and tie all the loose ends. i have nothing smart to say, the show just hits you like truck. thats all) coffee prince is a somewhat messy gem that belongs to a certain time period where gender bender(?) themes on japanese/korean shows were popping and boy was i all over them as a teenager.(i wonder why) most of them were garbage (you are beautiful... and many others) this one still has really charming moments that holds up for me mostly due to actors performances

i finished the sopranos not long ago and it pained me to not put it as a top favorite. i could have safely put that instead of OZ.. but OZ hit me in such a weird time and at this point i watched that shit aproximetely 3 times over so... just by personal impact it had to beat others. i do think sopranos is a perfect show!! i would love a rewatch when i could, honestly should have just caved and made it a top 4, but then i would have 2 hbo shows there?? give it up buddy. relax my guy

these are just really well crafted shows i enjoyed much more recently. just solid watches (nacho from better caul saul my beloved <3) also we can add the terror here but just the season 1

some turkish sketch/improv comedy shows that colored my youth lol i honestly dont know how they hold up? probably hit or miss. avrupa yakası mesela tekrar izleyemedim açıkçası. bir demet tiyatro'nun hayal meyal hatırlıyorum beni çok sardığını, tiyatro şeklinde olması çok eğlenceli ve farklı geliyodu bana. ıhlamurlar altında falan ağzım açık izlerdim geçen merak ettim de youtubedan açtım nasıldı diye 2 bölümü atlaya atlaya bitiremedim. yedi numara da öyle. sanırım televizyonda ne çıksa izliyodum o yaş/dönemde de pek bir tutarlılığı kalmıyo şimdi için.

keşke biraz da yeni türkçe dizi izlemiş olsam ama yok.. bi ara şahsiyet izledim biraz ama kafam dağıldı arada yarım kaldı. "gibi" komedi olarak çok övülüyo ama bi türlü elim gitmedi başlamaya. ben popüler bir şeye aşırı geç kalmazsam ben olmazdım zaten maalesef. neyse biraz şansa bakıyo bazen, bir başkadır da yarım kaldı saçma sebeplerden mesela. masum'u da izleyip beğenmiştim sanki ama çok bişey hatırlamıyorum hakkında açıkçası.

there are a lot of shows that i loved while growing up but i wouldn't/couldn't rewatch them now and have a genuinely good time lol. like doctor who, merlin, chuck, glee etc. and i was actually fully obsessed with glee as a teen for some time! (i remember painstakingly torrenting the reality singing compition that was supposedly made to discover a new glee star?? there was a turkish ''muslum'' girl there and all and they made her do some weird shit lol. no suprises there) but just as a full on episode its mostly unwatchable to me now. even then i dont think i finished the show? maybe i just dont remember the last seasons. some clips still cracks me up tho. i tried to watch a doctor who episode recently that was supposedly one of my favorites as a teen but couldnt get thru it, bored me to tears lol. merlin i remember loving a lot but again im uninterested in watching a full episode now. merlin/arthur did occupy my middle school brain a lot tho, i think it might be the first media i can remember where i searched for fanedits on youtube and watch those a lot as well. ding ding ding shipping gene activated!!1!!! might be one of my first shows where fanlore colored my watching experience much more than just the material. thats why the episodes of the show doesnt really hit as well as they used to probably. also some of these you just simply age out of. to think that i also watched OZ around these times and how wildy different my relationship is with it is so funny. like when i rewatched OZ recently i was just hit with a deeper, somewhat different while still painfully familiar wave of emotions but with glee im like.. okay! i see what was happening there at the time but its not really happening right know lol

Am I the only one who prefers angsty episodes to comedic ones? I feel evil but I'd rather have them battle major problems than this piya nonsense. Also (again evil me) I prefer DBO and IB times than this merger because as a shivika fan (I know kill me now, its almost a crime to like shivika over rikara) I thought they had good SLs when rikara weren't a factor. For eg, this piya track I would prefer to watch shivaay&annika deal alone rather than all 3, I'm sure rikara fans feel the same too(1)

I know you said shivika are preferred by cvs hence they get better SLs, but like I don’t actually care. I watch this for entertainment and it comes from shivika be it writing or chemistry, its not in my place to feel bad for shrenal or rikara and force myself to like them because they are being ill-treated. So as someone who likes shivika, I preferred pre-merger eps, like the forced wedding angst, daksh angst, tia preg angst, mahi drama, pinky drama and finally separation + rekindling (2)

I said it before, rikara fans would be the same. Apologies if this came off rude, i’ve folllowed you for a long time and while it has been disheartening to watch you convert to rikara and your lbs start preferring rikara and mildly getting annoyed by shivika (you are still amused by them but not as before and I think its due to the SLs), I know that’s your choice, I had to rant somewhere. You don’t have to answer this or publish this if you don’t want to (3)

I mean, sadomasochist that I am, I love angst too; but too much angst continuously gets very emotionally exhausting. I don’t mind having these kinda ainvayiii ke filler plots every now to lighten up the show every few weeks. After the angst of the Rikara plot two weeks ago, this is a welcome respite with some much needed laughs. The only issue I have is how the TRANSITION between the plots is written, and it seems too abrupt when they switch from heavier plots to the lighter ones. IMO, they should have one or two episodes of transitional fluff, with the characters just bonding and talking about the stuff they’ve been through and couples romancing and shit (maybe a time lapse of a few days), so that there’s a flow, and it doesn’t seem so jarring and abrupt when the next plot starts.

At this point, idek what the CVs “prefer”, with Gul being all “Shivika alone doesn’t give me numbers” last week, whereas all this time, she was singing a whole other tune and focusing on Shivika. Who the fuck even knows how her and her cronies’ twisted minds come up with rationalizations for the constantly fluctuating TRPS, coz proper research, sensible writing, and actually listening to constructive criticism toh inke bas ke baahar hai.

As for the Shivika v/s Rikara stuff: that’s just your preference, man. Liking one couple over the other doesn’t isn’t a MORAL judgement. This is just a trash tellywood show with no real world consequences, not a reflection on who you are as a person or anything. You don’t have to justify it to anyone, or even yourself. You like what you like, and that’s that.

But I’d like that same courtesy and understanding extended to myself as well; coz this “conversion to/preferring Rikara” denunciation feels unfair to me. I’ve never claimed to be in one “camp” of this show; I’ve always watched it as a sum of its parts. If I didn’t watch DBO, it’s because I wasn’t into its bizarre paranormal-cum-drama-on-steroids nature, not because I didn’t like Om (who’s been my favourite character from the start, as you would know since you’ve been following me for a while now) or wasn’t invested in his story. If I stuck through Shivaay’s horribleness during the forced wedding, then sure, I could have weathered Om’s character-massacre too, but DBO was just… too much for me.

I can only react and blog about what I’m being shown in the show - and currently, this show is writing Shivika HORRIBLY. Shivaay ditching Anika ON THE NIGHT OF THEIR WEDDING and bringing in Tanya as his wife after allllllllll those vows and whatever they’ve been through???? Anika acting weird and clingy about losing Shivaay to “younger” women (as if she’s what, approaching menopause? She’s 30 at most!) one week when he’s never given her the reason to, doing nonsensical “tests” to see if he can be trusted, and the next morning she wakes up with the most unshakable amount of faith in him and telling him to go off on a boy’s trip? During the shaadi ke rituals/Tanya track, they were all over each other and Anika was the one initiating physical intimacy, and now suddenly she’s back to “Shivaaaaay, aap kyaaaa kar rahe hai???” when he so as much as just moves in her direction? Not only are they being written completely ILLOGICALLY, they’re also now being written as a old married couple with no chemistry or heat whatsoever, ala Pinky/Shakti. How am I supposed to fangirl over this?

Look, I’m just another viewer like the rest of you, albeit with a slightly more popular platform than your own blog perhaps. But this platform became “popular” BECAUSE I’ve always been true to myself and expressed my views about what I’m watching HONESTLY. I’ve fangirled when I felt like it, and called out the shit when I’ve seen it. And I will continue to. That’s the point of this blog; for me to air MY views. And a person is allowed to change their views and opinions. I was not impressed by Gauri at first, and now I love her beyond bits. I used to not like Bhavya, but now I like her. Kal ko, if they start writing RuVya properly (hahahahahaha don’t hold your breath for this) and I like those scenes, then I’ll express that too! What’s this expectation people have of me to be the flagbearer of one fandom over the other (that too, irrespective of the material)? I’ve never claimed to be in any camp, nor have I ever said that I’ll be a completely impartial viewer who will give each couple exactly 33.33% of my love. This blog is just me talking out my ass about how *I* feel on any given day about these characters, and like my mood, it’s subject to lots of internal/external factors; it’s not always going to remain stagnant. Plus, If every single one of this blog’s followers expected me to feel the way THEY felt, and held me to those standards, mera toh jeena kaafi mushkil ho jaana hai, and that’s super unreasonable and unfair to me.

Toh please, just watch this show and take my mindless rambling w.r.t, with the most halkaaa amount of regard and consideration. At the end of the day, all of this means nothing. Jinko is sab se paisa banaana hai, woh toh banaakar chal diye, hum yahan pe kyun sar khapaate rahein? Yeh toh wohi baat hui, “khaaya peeya kuch nahi, glass toda baraah anna.” 😒😒😒

I'M SHAKING EVERYONE HERE BC I NEED TO TALK ABOUT RUNA AND EMIL IN @emmettnet 'S SHELTER PET AU

Faust is in it too, and I adore him, BUT I'M FROATHING AT THE MOUTH W/ RUNA AND EMIL RN

Both are unwilling pets, but Runa has settled into being a pet and likely would've became one when he was older if he wasn't made to become one

WITH RUNA He was used basically to show off and make his previous owner, Irene, look better at parties and such! And she was pretty fucking ruthless with him! If he wasn't quiet, still, walked on all fours too fast or too slow she would punish him via any means! Even in front of others! (Which would eventually result in someone calling in a tip about her cruel behavior to her pet) She made Thursdays HELL for him bc those were her favorite days to go out and show off!

If they WEREN'T going out and he's going to be shown off, she would purposefully feed him foods with meat in it to "get him used to it for gatherings that won't cater to him." So he'd end up spending most of his days really sick/ill!

AND ON TOP OF THAT, AS HE WAS BEING REMOVED FROM HER OWNERSHIP, SHE THREW A GLASS BOWL @ THE PEOPLE REMOVING HIM AND ENDED UP HITTING HIM INSTEAD AND CAUSED HIM TO BREAK DOWN

And then later on Bebê left him with Abaellis to pet sit him for a little bit while they were out of town on an emergency, AND ABAELLIS EXPERIMENTED ON HIM AND TURNED HIM INTO A MERMAID AND FURTHER TRAUMATIZED HIM!

And Tael uses him as a hunting/tracking pet too! So Emil gets hurt in that job, but ngl!!! he's pretty fucking decent at it! sometimes the hurt is purposeful on Tael's part, sometimes it's not!

Emil is still a vampire in this AU but it's more like vampire (?) bc has fangs and a desire to drink blood, he can live without it but if he goes without it for a long period of time he gets very fidgety, jumpy, more anxious, and is more likely to react with violence when scared!

He's also sorta more aggressive in this au in general but more so out of the fact of being defensive/protective!

He's very protective of his crate/cage bc it's the only thing that's his! So if something is done to it w/o telling him and he's not restrained, HE MIGHT BITE THE PERSON MESSING W/ HIS CRATE/CAGE!

She feels cornered??? SHE'LL SNARL AND BARE HER FANGS But!!! She won't actually bite if continued to be approached!

Emil still wants to be a Person, but for now she's like "You want me to be an animal? Fine. I'll be an animal." sort of mindset!

She's still scared of Tael ofc!!! But she's a good bit more feisty in this!!!! AND I LOVE THAT FOR HER

The only reason Tael hasn't declawed her is bc she needs her finger tips and claws for self defense and traction while hunting/tracking!

(Also in this au Tael may or may not have a Hit out against him since he's human in this au, but he's not worried about it :) if he ever was, he'd simply abandon Emil at a shelter and book it! :D )
