Hi there, welcome to Patter's Care Corner! This is a sfw space for all things age regression! No kink and/or NSFW allowed, this is a child friendly space!

Intro Post + Submissions!

Hi everyone! I have no self control and will be making another poll tournament :3 This time? We will be fighting over who is the best character from Transformers: Animated! I've also run @dissociationswagcompetition in the past so this ain't my first tourney rodeo XP

What's different this time around is we're going to attempt SEEDING in this bracket, fingers crossed! Depends on the amount of submissions we get, but because of that we've featured a way to nominate multiple characters with different weights without necessarily having to go through this form 50 times! Hopefully it's effective...

Submission rules:

ONLY submit your favorite character(s) from Transformers ANIMATED. I know Prime Soundwave is delightful but only submit him if you enjoy Animated Soundwave.

Any character that is featured in the Allspark Almanac is valid, even if they don't have a checkbox in the form (just because there's too many to list them all)! I will be referencing vol1, vol2, and the addendum for character eligibility

coming from someone whose specific niche blorbo hulk has absolutely destroyed in the first round in both this AND the dissociation swag competition— yeah. hulk absolutely deserves to be here. i am so sad that my blorbos keep getting pitted against him round 1 (not blaming the mods for that in the least, just grieving !!) because he is like a finalist to me. or at least a semifinalist. i don't even know that much about them but i know that as a kid Hulk was very important to me both in describing how big and out of my control my autistic emotions felt, and, in retrospect, especially given some of these propaganda posts, also felt similar to my plural experiences too. i completely sympathize with the sentiment "hulk is completely taking out my favorite small-fandom blorbo" but like, for the reason that he's an astoundingly strong contender.

tldr mad respect to hulk but why does he keep getting pitted against like the One niche blorbo that i submitted in round 1 (/lh, not a real question. i know it's seeding/randomization and i am ok with this)

Oof. Yeah, there's only so much we can do about that sort of thing. I'll admit there was some bias in making the bracket by trying to work it so none of our blorbos were against each other in the first round, we made sure to seed it by number of submissions though, so it was kept at least a little fair that way. And we were pretty cross-eyed by the end of the idk I think it was six hours or so of staring at it.

We could probably give a rundown of how we plotted the bracket when this is all wrapped up.

But yeah, how do you account for the Hulk? The world may never know. We used to watch some of the old live action show on retro TV when we were younger. They're everywhere.

There's probably another universe or something out there where Goldia had been placed against The Sunken or something in the first round. Unfortunately, we don't know the size of every fandom and we only have so many brain cells to spare.

Are we perfect? By no means. But we are trying. Slightly regretting the birthday bias now though, since this definitely could have been more fair.

Like, I know you said it wasn't a real question, just felt like mentioning that it was part bias and part "oh gosh there's so many with two submissions to move around how does this work?" So yeah, I'm willing to take partial blame in this one. Apologies for the layout there. If we ever run something like this again, we'll try and get a better handle on the everything.

i wish i didn’t miss the dissociation swag competition because i wanted to submit satoko and kohaku (basically the characters i relate to LMAO) but yasu is there so i’m still winning 

Cutting it close, but please nominate Tsukasa Tenma for @dissociationswagcompetition! The nominations are pretty spread out, so a couple more nominations should be enough to guarantee him a spot.

To explain why I want you to nominate him:

Mayo Clinic’s website defines dissociative amnesia as “memory loss that's more severe than normal forgetfulness and that can't be explained by a medical condition. You can't recall information about yourself or events and people in your life, especially from a traumatic time”.

Tsukasa begins the main story unable to recall several major things about his childhood, like why he wanted to become a star in the first place or that the plushies in the Wonderland SEKAI are the same ones he used to put on plays for Saki with. And like… childhood memories fade after a while, but those both seem like really important things? And I think most teenagers would recognize one of their childhood toys if you showed it to them, but it takes seeing Saki’s name on Usagi-chan for him to realize any of the plushies are his/Saki’s. And having a severely ill baby sister in the hospital, being unable to do anything except try to cheer her up, and being alone in your too-big house frequently because your parents need to take care of her and also have work would be pretty traumatic for a kid.

So anyways, please nominate Tsukasa Tenma for the Dissociative Swag Competition, I really want him in. We have a little under three hours before submissions close, so if you want to do it, do it quick!

hiii so you may have noticed that i have been avidly following the @dissociationswagcompetition recently and this is because it is a super cool competition with lots of awesome characters to discover

anyway the semifinals just ended but ever since my favorite blorbos got knocked out in round 1 ive been thinking about interactions they might have... so here are some Fleta & Garu/Karu doodles ive been accumulating for basically...the entire competition since round 1

beloved mutuals I may write a whole essay about how Shallan and Veil and Radiant from Stormlight Archive deserve to beat Mob from Mob Psycho in the dissociation swag competition because I know we all love Mob around here but folks. from a place of loving both blorbos very much. Mob should not be beating Shallan and Veil and Radiant in this competition no matter the difference in fandom size and I know just saying that might be ignored but if I wrote pages and pages about how Shallan+co deserve to win, beloved mutuals, would you find it within yourselves to consider voting for them 🥺
