#discord#i'm fascinated by how other people use discord#for me it's almost exclusively private servers#followed by a few very small public servers but i'm only occasionally active on those#i'm *in* some big public servers but i barely check them and almost never actually say/do anything#i have a personal server but i rarely use it lol#but i like. *never* use private chats/dms/whatever you want to call them on discord#only in very very specific instances#i don't have any like. ongoing private chats#just curious how i compare to the majority#this has been an original post#discord use poll#my polls

I am basing this off of the understanding that veganism is a philosophy of not eating animal products to limit harm to animals, but will eat substitutions. And giving that almost all of the recycled material used in the replication process isn't animal or made from animal, would the replicated food be considered vegan, or does it still count as an animal product?
Additionally: would replicated food be allergen safe? IE could you have replicated Peanuts that taste like peanuts, but would not cause you to have an allergic reaction? Like could someone with a shellfish allergy have replicated shellfish? Would all Replicated Dairy Products be Lactose Free by default?

Discord users, what do you/your community usually call the supplemental text channel for voice chats?
If no options are completely applicable but one is similar (i.e. you don't abbreviate "voice chat" to "vc" then pick the most similar one! specify odd cases in tags of course :) )

Was chatting with some folks on discord about aus and engines basis and saw some takes on Nia so it got me thinking about if she was built in the Nairobi Central Workshops around the 1910s cause she’s still a British exported locomotive and maybe other railways take inspiration from others and bulit their own also some folks on Twitter and discord make her another basis like a NG6 from South Africa so I was wondering on others folks thoughts on this if that’s cool

so i've been talking with my good friend @rootlet and we both come from another roleplay community, and we came up with the potential idea of creating a discord server for a little sims roleplay community.
i know these servers already exist, but i've never actively participated in one. i actually have no idea how discord roleplay works, but in my mind the idea is that people can use their sims and a group of us could roleplay a little community using these sims, whether it's like a roommate situation or a neighborhood situation. screenshots can be posted and little goings-on can be posted also. but i dunno how these servers actually work, or if anyone would be interested in participating at all.
