1990's- Jurassic Park comes out. Paleontologists: Yep, that's a T-Rex!

1995- So... Turns out T-Rex couldn't run well.

2001-So... Turns out T-Rex had pretty strong arms.

2010's- T-Rex May have had feathers!

2015- So... Turns out T-Rex had fat and muscle.

2020's- So... Turns out T-Rex didn't have feathers.

2023- So... Turns out T-Rex had lips.

So what we're saying here is... We got it right back in the 1920's?

Do you have strong opinions about many dinosaurs being depicted without feathers despite our knowledge that they likely had them?

I don’t really have any strong feelings about it. However I do think dinosaurs are cool, and I think they deserve to be depicted with feathers sometime. Dinosaurs are kinda wicked y’know.

And the people who have made tv/movies about them before are both very creative and not creative at all. I mean just taking the skeleton and stretching skin over it? Literally look at the animals we’ve got today and ourselves, there’s hair and feathers and shells and colour but nooooo.

Anyway so yes I do have strong opinions about this, now that I think about it. I’m only kind of joking here and surprised by how easily I sort of started ranting about portrayals of dinosaurs. But yeah they totally deserve better in the future.
